I had a great experience at The Savoy in Albany. The burger was absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their drinks are no joke either, generously poured and well-crafted, which made for a fun and relaxed evening. We also tried the shishito pepper hummus, which had a nice kick and great flavor. The only surprise was that it was served cold, I wasn’t expecting that but it still paired really well with the assortment of fresh, high-quality breads that came with it. Overall, a solid spot for great food, strong drinks, and a cool atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

I stopped into this bar with my boyfriend and on Monday night and was pleasantly surprised. The music/vibes were great and we absolutely loved our bartender whose name I think was Joseph. It’s always smart to have an authentic and friendly person behind the bar and we had a great time chatting with him all night. Looked like he was the only person working that night, which was surprising, but he seemed to handle it with grace. Also, that man knows how to make a good strong drink! The cocktails were beautifully made and aesthetically pleasing. The food was served quickly and fresh, however, the garlic aioli on our burger was super overwhelming. The burger could’ve been 10/10 without it. We also had the butter chicken Mac and cheese which was pretty good. Overall, I’d come back for the drinks and vibes any time.

Google
We loved everything about this pub. Such a nice chill atmosphere with terrific play lists. Our service was excellent as was the food. Great variety of foods from a rustic flavorful squash soup to the burgers and fries. Many varieties on the Moscow Mule and lots of draft beer choices. This was a perfect finish to our day in Albany.

Google
We had a great dinner at the Savoy. We were promptly greeted and seated at our table. Our waiter was great, he took our order and checked on us to see how our meal was and if we needed anything. The food was fantastic and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was quaint and pleasing. Would highly recommend to give them a try.

Google
We visited Savoy last night, Tuesday, for the Burger and Beer special. What a deal! $15 for what looked to be a perfectly cooked medium rare burger with cheese, tomato and Savoy's special sauce plus a draft beer for my companion and a slight upcharge of $3 more for my vegan Beyond Meat patty with vegan cheese, tomato and sauce; plus a draft beer. We sat at the bar with the lovely Hailey who explained the different beers on tap and chatted with us when she wasn't mixing up an array of interesting and fresh looking cocktails. It's a dark bar, dark wood and fixtures, just the type of neighborhood bar I love. The temperature outside was hot and humid but inside it was perfect, not warm but not so air conditioned that I froze in my shorts and sandals. The owner, who we've met before at their other restaurant, The Copper Crow, another great place, made sure to say hi and ask us how our evening went. Draft beers are half price all evening long on Tuesdays so our total bill for 3 drafts each, a burger, a Beyond Meat patty, minus tip was under $50! It's been a long time since the two of us were able to spend a few hours at a bar and leave full and happy for that price.

Google
Stopped by Savoy Taproom as it was one of the few restaurants where dinner was being served after 10 pm. The food was excellent, the selection of drinks was also solid, and the service was extremely hospitable. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
A great find, in a fun neighbourhood. Food was delicious - order the fried brussels sprouts! Roasted Brussel

Google
Always hits the spot. The food is some of the best in Albany, and definitely lark street. The menu switches up enough that it keeps me coming to try new things, but they retain their classics. They don’t fall for the same silly trends, but stay on the periphery where things can get really interesting. Their peri peri shrimp, for example, is a refreshing and tangy twist on the “bang bang” shrimp that has crept into every menu. I don’t drink, but I’m told the bartenders are amazing. Go here. The staff will treat you like royalty. The take out is also always packed with love. They don’t let their dishes get ruined by poor packaging. Thanks Savoy!

Yelp
I've been here once every time they rotate their drink menu to try their seasonal menu, so at least 10 times now. They've got the best drinks in all of Albany hands down. My best friend and I have wandered NYC, Pitt, Philly for cocktails before we settled our lives in Albany and Savoy takes us back to the good old days. We come here to catch up and just have a good night. Lots of other locals too and bartenders are great. Their food is pretty banging too -- caesar salad with ANCHOVIES, delicious burgers and fries to satisfy my fries craving. Street corn. Bacon jams. Brussel sprouts. Yum yum yum. If you're just visiting Albany and need a place to stop by for a good night, highly recommend!

Yelp
Bartender was awesome. Super nice and hustling all night. Burger was very good. Went for the $15 dollar beer and burger. Tasted like an upper class Big Mac. Lark street wasn't the best area imo but would come back for special again.
google avatar

Cara M.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. Simple and different all at the same time. There isn't anything over the top fancy but it's unique and fun. Going during the week is a nice cozy evening with friends or on a date. The bartenders are knowledgeable and fun. They have a nice amount of beers on tap.
google avatar

Santaliz G.

Yelp
Savoy is such a cute spot on lark street. It's a little pricey, so I think it's a cute spot for a date/hangout with a small group. I tried their butter chicken mac, and street corn fries, and it was delicious! The food came out within a decent time frame. The bartenders are friendly as well!
google avatar

Chef RaNeisha M.

Yelp
Vibes were unique. Food was just okay. Drinks were hit and miss. Service was off putting in the beginning with getting seated and waited on. The host/server was new to the team and still learning. Overall okay spot to drink late night.

Yelp
This place is always awesome, with a great atmosphere. Love coming here for burger nights on Tuesdays - the food is fantastic and the deal is unbeatable!

Yelp
99 cent wings??? Is this economy? Savoy is a blessing and probably the best place to go on Lark street. I love the 99 cent wings and they make the best espresso martinis. The drinks are always so creative and the service is great. Everyone has a cool vibe and is friendly. I love the ambience of the restaurant. Whether you're at the bar or in the dining area It has a very romantic and warm atmosphere that is very inviting. If you haven't been before you're missing out.

Yelp
My friends and I met here for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. We sat at the bar, we were immediately greeted, and service was superb from beginning to end. The ambience gives me speakeasy vibes, dim lighting and great music in the background. If you love amazing fresh unique cocktails then this is your place. The food was just as great. We ordered the street corn french fries- this was beyond delicious and very unique . For entrees we order the steak salad, a classic burger and the short rib with risotto. All three dishes were outstanding and were plenty to share and have leftovers. This place is a gem and Sam and Hailey were the stars for us. They were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back again. I completely forgot to take pics of the food but here are some of the cocktails we had.

Yelp
Service was super nice and understanding. We were gonna dine in but had to leave cause my brother had to go back to his hotel cause he was deploying for basic training. Food was good an ambiance seemed hip and trendy.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place. The lighting and everything about the environment created feels like a speakeasy.. it has an exclusive feel. Very well done in that regard! The service is excellent, the staff makes you feel as though you have know them for some time and they seem to care for the patrons. The experience feels very personal with the staff, excellent. The food and the drinks are exceptional, the short rib risotto left me speechless. The drinks are great and I honestly can't wait to return. A+
google avatar

Maddy D.

Yelp
This place was just okay. The menu wasn't as versatile as I'd hoped but got the job done. Preferred the berry salad which was pretty good. Just wish there were some more healthy options.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
What a cool place-- speakeasy vibes. Menu is online only, even when you go so just know that. They have a full bar, specialty cocktails, and seasonal cocktails. Lots of gin options The staff was great too... Our waiter was very nice. Other staff will bring your food/drink to you as well, which I like bc it seems like when it's ready, it goes out & isn't waiting for a specific person to come get it. We got cheese curds (yum!) to start. Then street corn Mac and cheese and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Both were fantastic. The Mac was very cheesy and a good portion. The chicken sandwich was perfection-- fries are spot on. I would definitely recommend!!! This is a great place for drinks or dinner. They take reservations (OpenTable) so I would do that before you go to be on the safe side (it's not a very big place)

Yelp
I've been told the Savoy Taproom was dog friendly, but I've never taken my dog there. Now, we also have a puppy. The Savoy Taproom owner, Jason, told my husband that both dogs were welcome. So we took them to the outdoor patio and ordered dinner along with drinks. Both pooches were well behaved much to my relief. Our waitress brought them some water which made them very happy. My husband was happy with his drinks and his Mexican-style street corn pasta dish. I ordered the chicken Marsala special. It was good. Needed a bit more Marsala and butter to bring out the flavor. I know this because I make it at home. Nevertheless, we had a great time. It was a great meal and the weather was perfect for the whole family to spend time outdoors. Thanks to the Savoy Taproom for a nice evening! Unfortunately, I don't have photos of food to share. I do have photos of my happy pups!

Yelp
I can't believe this place doesn't already have 5 stars! I can't put into words how amazing the food and drinks are. The staff was so personable and gave us amazing recommendations of things to order. I can't wait to go back!!
google avatar

Yelp
The Savoy Taproom has a great prohibition era speakeasy feel. We were glad they had a patio as we could relax in the warm summer evening. The menu was eclectic. Our party of four got some sandwiches, salads and the humus plate. The chicken sandwich was good. The classic burger was amazing with fantastic fries. Salads were alright. The service was thoughtful - we felt well taken care of by our server - but not overwhelmed. The lemonade was particularly well made as it was not too sweet. We would definitely eat and drink here again.
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
On a whim tried Savoy for the first time due to it having GF options. Very cute ambiance... great menu selection. However the amazing waitstaff and service was what really gave this a 5 star rating. We were on a time crunch... however the waitress was so accommodating and thoughtful. She was very knowledgeable about gluten free options and was so friendly. We definitely will be back.
google avatar

Maeve M.

Yelp
Yum! I've been wanting to try Savoy and it did not disappoint. The drinks were so good and they had a great selection for cocktails. The food was very flavorful and delicious. I wish they would provide paper menus or at least a QR code, but overall a great spot.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere blends historic architecture with modern touches for a laid back but elegant look. Attentive staff. A friend and I were traveling through and found this place on Yelp. The food we ordered was great; the potato leak soup was delightful! The rosemary oil and croutons were the perfect accents, great size for an appetizer/small starter. We then shared the beet hummus, which had amazing flavor and color. The buttered baguette that came with it was very tasty and the cruditéa nice fresh touch. We each had a glass of wine to round off our light meal, perfect. We will return if in town again.

Yelp
food was awful! wings barely had sauce on them and they were tasteless. The fries are over cooked yet somehow soggy and all the sauces are awful. worst food I have had on an otherwise great food streetp

Yelp
Savoy Taproom lives in my dreams. From my first Whiskey Sour here a few years ago, to the one I indulged on tonight, the consistency of this perfect drink recipe never ceases to surprise me. Usually it's the food that keeps me coming back, but at Savoy, it's the Whiskey Sour. I have to keep bragging about their ever changing cocktail menu and their signature drinks. Tonight I tried the Gin Goblet and I asked for bartenders favorite. As expected, I completely forgot the Gin they chose, but it was served in a glass with pink peppercorns and orange slices, topped with a spritz. Unique drink combinations always make me intrigued, and this was no exception. I am a gin drinker and the peppercorn combo was a revelation. It was perfectly complementary to the flavors in the gin. I also have to mention that their Manhattan and Old Fashion cocktails are to die for. Savoy is the type of place to try cocktails that are out of your comfort zone. Even if you are iffy about whiskey, their whiskey cocktails will blow you away, and change your mind forever. I give them all the credit for expanding my liquor palate. Savoy is a craft cocktail bar, and they absolutely know what they are doing. Also have to give it up to the amazing owner Jason for keeping Savoy amazing and supporting the community during hard times, all while working to open his new venture The Copper Crow, which I can't wait to check out! As I exhaust myself describing the cocktails, the food is also great, fresh and a perfect balance of modern and pub grub. Tonight we snacked on the Garlic Parm Fries - a favorite of ours. They are irresistibly delicious. We just grabbed a couple drinks and a snack tonight, but I've had about half the menu and it's all great. Savoy is always a good time, great ambiance on the back patio or in the newly remodeled dining room, unbelievable cocktails, and great eats. Do not miss this recommendation. I promise, they will surprise you too.

Yelp
We were in town for a few days and found this place, had a quick beer before headed to dinner elsewhere. We ended up returning the next night for dinner and it was truly excellent. The bar is dark and lovely. The service, friendly and the food, exceptional. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place is a cute find right on Lark Street. I went here with my friend on a Friday night, and we were immediately seated inside. The aesthetics are dark and intimate, and this makes it even better for date night. In addition to the nice environment of the restaurant, the burger I ordered was amazing. The burger had flavor, and the waiter was extremely kind and attentive. The prices were a bit more expensive, but the flavor and size of the burger make it reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend this place, but the prices are a little bit higher.

Yelp
I had not been here in quite some time, and decided to take the my family visiting from out of town, because they have excellent menu accommodations for the gluten free vegetarian, vegan and omnivore. They had something for everyone. I am so glad that they have the outdoor seating under the tent. Ot is such a great addition and I am thankful they have kept it post Covid. It was fun to watch all the beautiful drinks be brought out to the other tables. We were taken by the fries! So delicious, nice thick cut steak fries that have tremendous potato flavor. We got a side of the beet aioli and asked for seconds ... it was Devine! I got the brooklyn pub burger- so flavor packed. My father was super pleased with his Mississippi fried chicken sandwich and my sister got one gluten free ... my mom opted for the piri piri shrimp... the next day everyone was still talking. About how good it was... and this is a tough crowd to be fair. I will be back again now that I have refreshed my memory as to how good this place is! I mush add in addition to the great patio vine outside - The service was fantastic! She was engaging and funny and really helpful with all of our questions.
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Our server, Keith, provided great service and recommendations. We were a party of 4 ordering one classic burger, two chicken sandwiches and the short rib risotto. Everything was delicious. I would dine again if in the Albany area.

Yelp
Glistening and gleaming . This refreshing oasis will quench you. So far removed from the nearest dark bar... wow! It's not the physical difference that will impress upon you the importance of this house of pleasure. They will ensure your appreciation of the request. So much more enjoyable than the dark looking legions that threaten you from afar. The bulwark of lark street. Well done. Shrieking, looming, threatening assholes could only wish. Nice job! Dinosaur JR.
google avatar

Yelp
Ahhhh, well... if you get a chance, and can get a seat at the bar, YOU MUST GO!! This place is fantastic, was so good I went back the very next night just to make sure was not a fluke. The staff is awesome, Sam the bartender can make you a killer drink! The Korean BBQ wings I wish I lived in Albany would be a spot I frequent for sure!!! I love the vibe, it's a speakeasy...
google avatar

Justin C.

Yelp
Was in here for a quick two drinks, but kind of wanted to stay. Too bad I had other plans the rest of the night. Sat at the bar, both bartenders were quite nice. Ended up getting a pour of whiskey and a beer, then had to head out. This place has a cool atmosphere, and the food smelled REALLY good. Next time i'm in the area I will stop back in.
google avatar

Ankita N.

Yelp
You cannot miss this iconic restaurant on the historic Lark Street when you visit Albany. It's a huge place welcoming all kinds crowds- the more casual drinkers/diners and those looking for a fancy dinner/date night. We sat inside their cozy chic dining room and great food followed. Their menu has a variety of cocktails and food with an entire menu with different kinds of fries (called famous fries)! Our recommendations: Garlic Parm Fries, Pó Boy Sandwich, which similar to a Bahn Mi but had fired vegan meat inside, served with hand cut fries (really good) and their gorgeous Mezcal Maple salmon (best dish). Highly recommend!
google avatar

Bre S.

Yelp
Omg, this poutine though. I never thought that would be the dish to gain my adoration and consistent patronage, but savoy's poutine has done just that. I would bring a friend to help you finish yours, because as much as my eyes think I'll get the job done, it always is harder than I think it'll be... Oh, they also have drinks. I've never had an older fashioned here that wasn't perfectly made, and for a "treat yo' self" kind of night, they have a small but fantastic selection of Japanese whiskeys for your sampling pleasure. Kind of love that the taps are all still on the old "Justin's" bar, which was the establishment prior to savoy. Integrated a piece of history into the savoy bar! Last noteworthy perk- I love the people and vibe here. I don't know how they hire, but the bartenders working any given night are always so interesting with great personalities and all sorts of colorful stories. I've also met fun people from all over Albany and beyond who stop in for a drink, and it's been a blast hearing what brought them to savoy.

Yelp
I went here last night with my wife for her birthday dinner. My wife had researched and read that this place had great craft cocktails and a great menu that wasn't just pub grub. When we walked in, I must say I was a little apprehensive. Being surprised was an understatement. The waiter was attentive, helpful with drink and menu selections, but not pushy. My wife and I both got different moscow mules for drinks, which were both fantastic. Our meals were both on par with Our drinks ( lentil bolonese was inventive and filling) while the chinichuri steak was flavorful and the potatas braves (spicy potatoes) were flavorfully addicting. The bar definitely had a hipster vibe but not in a pretensous way. From service to food to ombiaunse if you are in the Albany area its a must try!!!!!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Good cocktails and good food. The service has always been good as well. My only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that it just hits "good" across the boards nothing "great" about Savoy and I've been there a number of times. The food usually keeps me coming back but last visit the salmon with miso rice tasted like diner food at best, no flavor at all.... We will definitely give them another shot.
google avatar

Sindhuja K.

Yelp
A fun place to spend a summer night outside on the patio. The inside is such a vibe too. The cocktails are the best part of Savoy Taproom. We got the Is She Weird (tequila based drink) and the Barcelona Gin Goblet. Both were so good so refreshing and not sweet at all. We ordered the street corn fries which was probably our most favorite item on the menu. Also got the gochujang wings and the steak frites - these were decent but would probably try something else next time.
google avatar

Caitlin V.

Yelp
Appetizers: Poutine was great. Patatas Bravas were good. A little bit of a different taste from typical patatas bravas. Entree: I had the "B"LT Sandwich, which is tofu instead of bacon. I'm not a vegan/vegetarian, but the sandwich was delicious! Staff: Very friendly staff
google avatar

John V.

Yelp
It's late night dinning again and I end up in the Lark It's a great place and super friendly staff. The food is good. The boneless wings are boneless breasts. So be prepared it's a meal in itself. The pasta - it hit the spot ... could use some tomatoes or mushrooms and it would be fire The beer is cold and the place is easy So make your way through this area alive and drink up you're free.

Yelp
Went here for brunch on a Sunday with a friend around 11 am and were seated right away. Our order was taken timely and food came out not too long after. The waiter was super friendly. I ordered a vegan BREAKFAST BÁNH MÌ and my friend got the CRÈME BRÛLÉE FRENCH TOAST. I also had a fresh squeezed mimosa and she had poinsettia. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Having first visited Savoy Taproom a few months back, I knew my husband would enjoy it as he was looking to try someplace new for dinner last evening. Their website is straightforward in stating they require vaccination cards and they mean it too. We like that. If you don't, there are plenty of other options in town. Continuing on the safety-first journey, you'll find they don't offer menus and instead point you to their website which is easy to navigate. From what I saw, all staff wore masks and they wore them properly - over the nose. We started our evening with a Tito's Vodka Martini and their current Old Fashioned: Saintly Daddy. Simple said about the martini: they pour a good one. The Old Fashioned was bright, warm, and refreshing on a cold winter night. With a hint of pear and the aroma of the dried orange crisp, I had to have two. For starters, we ordered their Poached Pear Salad and the Crispy Cauliflower. Both were quite unique with the pear salad being on the lighter, sweet, and savory side. The cauliflower, having been fried, is a heartier salad with small bits of pickle providing a bright pop. Both were winners! While we hoped to order the Flat Iron steak, it wasn't being offered at the time. (We look forward to trying that in the future!) Instead, I ordered the Mississippi Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. The crispy chicken breast was served on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. It was topped with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and their Jackson sauce which is similar to the Golden Arch's 'special sauce'. I didn't see if there was an up-charge but I had the Buffalo Bourbon fries. The sauce was deliciously tangy though I did find the fries to be a bit drenched in the sauce. I'd suggest asking them to go light on the sauce or serve it on the side. Ignoring the advice of our server, my husband ordered 10 Jumbo Wings instead of the suggested 5 with their Medium sauce. They were indeed jumbo and the sauce was spot on...not too mild, not too hot, and had great flavor. Needless to say, 5 is enough as he brought the other 5 home. For dessert, we took home the Lovin' Spoonful Big Chocolate Cake which is a chocolate lover's dream: chocolate on chocolate on chocolate! We also got the Creme Brulee Cheesecake which is an interesting and tasty combination of the two desserts wrapped up in a single slice of pie. If you can't tell, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and look forward to many more at the Savoy Taproom. Shout out to Amanda and Keri for making our evening a success! Thoughts for management: Put QR codes on tables to help guide patrons to your menu. Dress up your to-go desserts a bit with a garnish of some sort; they pale in comparison to the in-house plating you do with other dishes.

Vamsi V.

Yelp
The best Tap room I have been to lately. The food here is simply delectable and mouth watering. Ambience is rustic. Service is pretty fast too. Love the Piri piri Shrimp.

Yelp
Beyond the food and drinks... First off, very impressed with the measures I'm seeing all of the staff take to keep social distance, exceptional cleanliness, all the while keeping the service excellence and general ambiance that makes Savoy what it has always been, a class act. My hostess, waiter, and the bartender are masked the entire time, not chin strapped, but properly masked. Actual hand washing and sanitation is visible/readily available for staff AND patrons. I thought it was conscientious to post signs directing patrons towards the online menu to minimize surfaces that may be higher risk, as far as I can tell plates and cutlery are all disposable, as well as signs in the restroom inviting those using them to let staff now so they can properly sanitize. And I creeped, they did. I'm a small business owner myself I absolutely understand the rigorous actions it takes to keep staff and guests safe and I absolutely endorse Savory. Everyone working is as chipper and accommodating as ever. The drinks and vibe are why I started coming here as a "new to town" individual 2 years ago, and the commitment to excellence in this trying time of "new normal" is why I'm back and having a great experience. Looking for good food and drinks? Is great service important to your night out? Want to feel safe (no cutting corners of 1 out of 5 staff that gives no fucks) and still somehow feel like date night is still romantic vs a "risk" to get out? THIS IS SAVOY TAPROOM. Don't be an ass, tip accordingly, they're busting ass for you.

Yelp
This is literally one of my favorite places in upstate New York to eat and drink at. Live DJs on the weekends and at night, amazing brunch, fresh in amazing food, and some of the most talented bartenders in the industry. Their drink list is incredible, and they have lots of healthy options on the menu, but also a couple items that will hit the spot if you are in the mood for something more dangerous. Their tacos, buffalo fries and burrata Are some of my go to menu items. They also have quality well spirits, which means if you order an old-fashioned, it doesn't come with some crappy bourbon or rye, they actually use high level, quality spirits that and a drink or will recognize as being quality.

Yelp
We are kicking ourselves for not getting to Savoy as much as we should have before the big 2020 quarantine. Have always loved this place. A great place to come for a tasty meal, hang out, and have some really cool cocktails. We are trying to support our local restaurants during this time. The Capital District has some really great restaurants, bars, pubs and we want them to remain. So, we are circling around to patronize our different favorite places (just as we did when we could go out) for take out dinner. We ordered food and some very tasty cocktails to-go. Ahhhhhhh, what a delight! I had had the Maryland Fish Fry and husband had the Reuben. Both came with fries. Perfect food to imagine we are out and about at a pub! The cocktails were Gin Last Word - which is a delicious prohibition era cocktail. Fabulous and complex and a gin drinkers dream. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Love savoy but they need to remove the "Mediterranean Crunch" from the menu. It is not a salad, but raw onions, raw cabbage, and spoiled feta. Please savoy do better.

Yelp
One of the places I miss the MOST with quarantine/isolation is Savoy Taproom. It is an unassuming place on the outside. An awning and some dark windows. But when you walk down the few steps and through the threshold you feel almost transported. Even during broad daylight it feels like dusk-- in the best way possible. When you sit at the bar, behind you is some local art (I believe it is for purchase?) and in front of you is an array of bottles-- from Fernet to Bulleit, homemade simple syrup and bitters, I do not think there is a single cocktail the bartenders can't make. Their cocktail menu is extensive and I have never had one I didn't like. Usually when we went there, we were served by Cristian (or Christian), who is truly a magician with spirits. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients with which he works, and will even tweak a drink if there is an ingredient you don't particularly care for (however, unless you have an allergy to something, I would encourage you to just go with the menu. This is a case where the "bartender knows best".) Some of my favorite drinks include the Martini-- which has a spicy kick from brine made with pepperoncini and the classic old fashioned. But, like I said-- you can't go wrong with anything at Savoy.

Yelp
Really loved all of the gluten free options here but it was kind of overpriced for what it was. The cauliflower could have used some more of the sauce but we couldn't flag our waiter down to get anything, despite the small size of the restaurant. The three little pigs mac was interesting, really good flavor but more of a soup with noodles and meat in it than a mac and cheese.

Yelp
One of the best eats in Albany. I'm convinced anything they make is amazing. Try this or their bourbon macaroni and you'll be in love!

Yelp
Our host seemed put out to have to seat us and had a condescending tone when he told us the menus were on our phones. When our server arrived, she was really nice and pleasant to us all, even though some in my party were awkward and off-putting juxtaposed to her charming nature. I had a burger that had so much gushy sloppy sauce on it that it was almost inedible. Certainly not fit for picking up. The taste was way over powering and pretty much a total loss. Others at my table enjoyed their food. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands after we were seated and to say it was a broom closet would make it sound too big. It was also pretty nasty and sticky, making the posh atmosphere attempt in the dining room seem like lipstick on a pig. For the price and my food quality, I won't be back, but for a vibey place to meet people for drinks before a show at Lark Hall down the street, perhaps it could work for some.

Yelp
I was staying nearby and was starving so walked to Savoy Taproom. I ordered the pork belly appetizer and the Brooklyn burger. The pork belly was outstanding. Def recommend that. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and flavorful and on top of deliciously glazed brussel sprouts. The burger was good too. It was seasoned well and cooked a perfect medium. I ordered to go so can't speak to service. I would return.

Yelp
Came to have dinner with my husband and we loved this place so much. Hamburgers were bomb, especially Tori's suggestion of The Brooklyn Burger. I had a mezcal & blackberry drink that was amazing as well. Definitely coming back here anytime I'm in town.

Yelp
Brunch was delicious. Very flavorful and satisfying. I'd have to say, though, that the portions were on the smaller side. I was easily able to get mine dairy free and the wait staff was super attentive. It's a very quaint restaurant. I have been there before for a fund raiser--they support non profit organizations which is very nice to see and most of the reason I went back. I'd give it 5 stars if they upped the portion sizes.
