Such a wonderful experience, there were 3 of us and we ordered every pizza they had. The atmosphere sitting at the bar and watching them skillfully make every pizza was such a great experience. The chef was very playful and amusing and gave us a great experience, we didn’t have to know Japanese to be amused and feel welcome and overall have such a great time. This Neapolitan is on my top 3 of all time that includes all the Neapolitan I’ve had in New York. This is a must stop place. Thank you savoy for the best bar side pizza dining experience ever!

Amazing 10-person eatery with world class pizza in the midst of an unassuming neighborhood in Tokyo. Visited by both tourists and locals. The bluefin tuna and sukiyaki pizzas were a delight and the crust is just so special: soft, flavourful, and chewy! We also loved the salad which was dressed perfectly and was plentiful. Glad we booked as we saw people get turned away. Bar seating only and front row audience to all the kitchen action. Great chats with everyone working there too. Highly recommend.

Delicious Italian-style pizza with a Japanese twist. Many try but this one is done really well. You need a reservation for dinner and can only get it through a phone call. We tried several times before we got a spot. Good news is that they have English speaking staff members, so it’s okay if you don’t speak Japanese. The place is small, at least in the area where we were seated, but you can see the cooking process, which we always enjoy. We tried pizza Y (the one with tuna) and it was outstanding. Best pizza with Japanese twist I’ve tried. What I liked is that even if it has fish, the flavor isn’t as invasive as smoked salmon, which is something I’ve tried in other places and haven’t enjoyed. The wasabi touch, which is suggested, makes it even better. We also tried the Margherita and the banana-choco dessert pizza and both were really good. Red wine by the glass was good as well and I tried an Amaretto Ginger cocktail but it felt too sweet after a few sips. I loved this place. Not cheap but worth the price.

😋💕Absolutely worth the hype! I had the margherita pizza, blood orange juice, and apple cinnamon pizza, and oh my goodness—every single bite was mouthwateringly delicious. The flavors were perfection! We originally tried to go for dinner but didn’t realize it’s reservation-only (totally makes sense—it’s a small, cozy spot, and they get packed). So, we came back right before they opened for lunch, and thankfully, we were first in line! The space is small and quaint, with such a warm and welcoming vibe. Everyone there is super friendly, and watching them prepare everything right in front of you in the wood-burning oven just adds to the experience. I devoured a whole pizza by myself plus half of the dessert pizza, and miraculously, I didn’t feel overly stuffed—just perfectly satisfied! A few tips: Get there early for lunch if you don’t have a dinner reservation, and keep in mind they close for a few hours around 2 PM before reopening for dinner. But trust me, it’s so worth planning ahead. 10/10 recommend—this place is a must-visit!✨✨✨

This pizza was f’in mind blowing. We tried 3 types, the tuna, the beef, and the margarita. They were all good but the TUNA. This pizza was unforgettable, every single time I’m in Tokyo I will revisit this place and get that pizza. Highly recommended, must visit. A++

Really nice and laid back dinner at the counter. Place is super small, seats only around 8 people at the counter, one pizzolo and another staff. The menu is super simple with just 4-5 pizza options + 2 sweet pizzas and a few starters. We ordered caprese salad which was really good, super juicy tomatoes, really good quality olive oil and good mozzarella. We also ordered olives and were good. For pizza we shared a margarita, dough is light and toasted, tomato sauce really soft and nice. Olive oil used was not the same high quality one from caprese salad, which was sad. We finished with a sweet pizza of apple and cinnamon and was a good surprise! Really tasty! The spicy ginger ale was also interesting! The staff was super nice and attentive, sparked a bit of conversation, and service was fast . Overall good vibe, easy to talk with the neighbors aswell. Would be back!

Google
My tastebuds were soooo happy with every bite! The flavor, the texture, the everything!!! We started with some safe bets, and the truth is, when those are exceptional you’re encouraged to venture. We started with the caprese and some olives, then the margherita.. every single bite was so damn good! We then ordered the blue fin tuna pizza, because how could we not at this point?! But be forewarned (since we weren’t and found out when we tried to order dessert), you’re limited to one pizza per person, including the dessert pizza. Oh!! And the sake was perfection!

Authentic Italian, a top 5 for me in Tokyo. Though, the service is a bit poor considering the high quality food. Would like a bit more energetic, attentive servers. Other than that, delicious, great atmosphere!

Yelp
This place is so good we are writing this review before our third pizza has arrived. Visited in 2019 and specifically sought it out our first day back. Like other reviews noted, the crust is soft and moist and chewy. Ingredients are super fresh. I'm a deep dish guy which is not this place, but this pizza is as good as it gets.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday lunch. Arrived 30 minutes after opening and waited about 30 minutes. Got the Margherita and Blue fin tuna pizza. The tuna is the better pizza. Didn't have to wait long for the food but service was a bit spotty because we were at the back of the restaurant. Would come back again and try a different pizza.

Yelp

Yelp
On the last night of my recent trip to Tokyo, Savoy was the one spot in Tokyo that I specifically wanted to try. I recalled seeing it on Ugly Delicious, probably like everybody else that eats there now. The Tuna Pizza was what drew me in. We started with the Caprese Salad - always a winner, and the broccoli - could be better. First pizza up was the Margherita - delicious but very wet compared to Napoli version. I recently learned that Tokyo-style pizza is drenched in Olive Oil, it's good but I think unnecessary. Next up was the Tuna - amazing and I will come back every trip just to have this! Last was the mushroom and egg - it needed something with crunch or texture and strong flavor to contrast with the soft ingredients (not common in Japanese cooking), maybe like crispy prosciutto. Overall, it is a great place to go for dinner. Make a reservation and get the tuna pizza!

Yelp
Great place if you want Neapolitan style pizza in Tokyo. Very light and tasty. The owner let us in without a reservation. You can tell he's passionate about what he's serving. Nice hole in the wall spot

Yelp
Wow. What can you possibly complain about? Delicious pizza. Cold beer. Friendly people. Cool environment. Such an awesome cool down after a long hot day.

Yelp
Great pizza at Savoy with a lovely owner/manager who will delight you with the most genuine smile of joy as he requests to take a photo of you for dining at his parlor. The bread is chewier than any pizza I've ever had - definitely a unique process they've put together - and the marinara show was a one-of-a-kind experience. Like French onion soup reimagined into a delicious pizza.

Yelp
Savoy is one of my favorite pizza places in Tokyo. They have another location that's not too far from this location and I'm not sure which one is the original. We've been to the other one twice and loved it so we wanted to try this location to see if it's any different. We went to Savoy Tomato & Cheese during lunch hours on a weekday. They have the same menu as Savoy Azabujuban - a 1000 yen lunch set that comes with a peach iced tea, a salad, and a choice of either the marinara or the margherita pizza. It's amazing how this is only 1000 yen considering the quality and the location (Azabujuban is one of the most expensive areas to live in). The pizzas are delicious and we loved how they kept refilling the peach iced tea, which was super refreshing. We loved both pizzas, but I have a slight preference for the margherita here. We have another favorite pizza place in Tokyo called Seirinkan, which also only serves margherita and marinara pizzas and there I have a slight preference for the marinara even though the margherita is probably the more popular of the two at both Seirinkan and Savoy. Like Savoy Azabujuban, Savoy Tomato & Cheese only has a counter with about 10 seats, but unlike the Azabujuban location I never see a long line here, which is great. This location also has a different vibe. While Savoy Azabujuban has a more rustic feel to it, this place has a more modern and contemporary feel and is well lit. The service at both locations are great and I would highly recommend both locations.

Yelp
Approved by my husband who's father comes from Naples, Italy. Small restaurant but quality stands out. We eat a lot of pizzas and this one is one of the best ones in the area, much much better than Strada down the street.

Yelp
Fantastic weekday lunch sets at ¥1000. Delicious crust and one of the best I have had. Moist chewy a little burnt and crispy with fresh and delicious ingredients. Highly recommended. Try the classic margarita or the beef is also very delicious but not on the lunch set menu.

Yelp
My kids eat a lot of Pizza and we've pretty much tried them all and I have to say this place is the best. In a city of fantastic Italian style Pizza, Savoy stands out for sure. It's small and I think just has counter seating but if you go early it's not crowded and worst case you can get take out and go sit in the nearby Robot Park. The staff is friendly in that sort of polite, inflexible Japanese way ("you are welcome to sit here but please know that this seat is reserved from 1h15 from now so you must leave by then"). Getting to watch the pizzas made in front of you is fun for the kids. Only two kinds of Pizza, but they have good sides and salads as well. Drinks can be expensive, I guess that's where they make their money.

Yelp
Owner was really rude to us, probably because we're foreign. Wouldn't let us sit at the counter, made us do take out even though by the time our order was ready the place was empty. We wanted to try the ahi pizza but you can't order that one take out. We ended up with a beef pizza and onion pizza. He Gave us less beef than other orders, and that pizza was very whatever anyway. +1 star because the onion pizza was tasty. Wouldn't come back.
