Found this hidden gem today and I am so happy and impressed! The restraunt itself will take you back into time. The food is Delicious and the service is above and beyond. Definitely will be back soon and more often. They have so many heartwarming baked goodies to enjoy or take home. And their bathrooms are the cutest!

Google
Great service, food and atmosphere. Fifties diner feel in a cozy environment. The portions are huge, so be warned. It's very easy to order with your eyes! 😳🤣 Everything was delicious and we came away with leftovers. I liked the chicken apple sausage though it had a little bite. Scrambled eggs were perfect and I got a little side of gravy for fun. The gravy was awesome with little bits of sausage and not too much pepper like I often find at breakfast places. The potatoes were really yummy. The in-house jam served with the biscuit...YUM! Would come back in a heartbeat with a better understanding of how much food you get. 🫡

Google
Great breakfast with lots of food We originally ate here in September of 2023 while in Petaluma for a wedding. It was so good, that we had to eat here again during our 2024 Sonoma County vacation. It was just as good as we remembered it. The eggs, potatoes, biscuits and…….the huge piece of ham. Everything was amazing. This was the perfect start to a full day of beach hopping.

Google
Visit here for large portions coupled with the taste and flamboyant service. The steak , coupled with the hash browns and over easy poach was cooked to the perfection and special mention should be provided to crab cake benedict. The biscuit was ok, not too outstanding.

Google
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Visited on a Thursday at noon and there was no wait. Both Eggs Benedict plates were phenomenal and the garlic fries are a must!

Google
It was OK. My over medium eggs were undercooked and the bacon was small. It was breakfast, but nothing special.

Google
Delicious and high energy environment. Seated very quickly on Sunday at noon too. I liked their outdoor seating and the servers were very nice.

Google
It took some time before anyone acknowledged that I was there even though I was sitting at the counter, but once they did, the service was excellent. The food was cooked exactly as I had requested. The place is VERY small inside but adequate. It is a quaint 60's retro cafe, and I recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
Food - 5/5, coffee is standard fare drip, service 5/5, ambiance 4/5 it's a bit crowded with tables in the enclosed outside area. We were seated quickly. We came here for brunch and enjoyed the family-friendly environment. One of us got the steak and eggs dish and the other got the steak & eggs Benedict. The steak was really good and generously portioned - I would get the steak eggs Benedict on a biscuit for a future order. We resisted getting pancakes or a waffle but were a bit jealous of the tables around us that did. For those who want a weekend indulgence the pancakes looked fluffy and moist. I liked that it is family owned and operated with dishes named after the waitstaff!

Yelp
We stopped at Sax's Joint for brunch and were so happy we did since our friend in the area recommended this spot! There was no wait for a table of 2 at 12:30pm on a Sunday and we got seated in their back room. They have cool retro decorations that add to the diner vibe and friendly service which made it really feel like a local spot. I ordered the eggs with sausage links, hash browns, and the homemade biscuit. My boyfriend got the french toast that came toasted with cinnamon sugar and topped with their marionberry cream cheese. Everything tasted high quality and homemade, I LOVED their homemade biscuit, it might be the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy and moist on the inside, while maintaining a good crust on the outside. The eggs also tasted high quality, which I really appreciated in a time where eggs = $$$. The hash browns were clearly freshly cooked to a crispy outside and soft potato inside. The french toast was unique and balanced well with the cinnamon sugar and marionberry cream cheese. We didn't think it needed syrup at all, it was perfectly sweet with a slight tang. With a coffee and apple juice, the bill came out to $45 before tip which was so reasonable for the quality of food. No pictures because we dug in right away. I am so glad we came by, this is one of the best diner experiences I've had recently!

Yelp
We went on a road trip for the weekend to visit some friends and hit this place up as one of the spots from Triple D. Inside was retro style rockabilly and super cozy. We got in around 10 on a Sunday and lucked out with a few minutes wait before the rush. You can sit at the bar if it's open but it got packed quick. I had the Mexican benedict and wifey had the eggs bacon and a piece of challah french toast. Everything was delicious and good. My Mexican style bene had a little bit of kick bit not too hot with chorizo, a Cholula sauce and hollandaise. Cooked to perfection even the potatoes were scrumptious and didn't even taste starchy. Service is amazing, parking could be a little challenging but you can find street parking with a little bit of a walk. Don't forget to pick up fresh cinnamon rolls at the counter to go!!! Gastro Maestro Approved!!!!

Yelp
Great breakfast in the North Bay! We tried a lot of items while on a family roadtrip. The seating is a bit tight, but it's worth it. FYI, no strollers per restaurant policy. The staff is busy, but they get the job done. I really liked the freshly breaded chicken fried steak. Also, very tasty gravy that wasn't too salty! Both styles of potatoes were delicious. You can't go wrong with either! The green onions and sour cream were a nice touch on the country potatoes. And to cap it all of with the biscuit and jam... Keep slinging great food! I hope to be back!

Yelp
Fun small place with good ambience. Staff was super friendly. Food was good diner style. Forgot to take a pic of the cinnamon roll which was the highlight of the visit.

Yelp
Wow! Chicken and waffles fresh hot and delicious with enough food for three meals!! Get here early. Smiling service! Cool vibe.

Yelp
Stopped here with some friends for breakfast before our activities. People were in line outside which was the first good sign. The establishment is pretty tight. Large parties are definitely going to be shoulder to shoulder- out party of 5 was a tight squeeze! Food was decent and came out quickly. Wait staff gave us obligatory service- nothing more, nothing less. I ordered the crab cake Benedict. It was good. I asked that my eggs be on the former side. Nope, they ran all over my plate, which was slightly traumatic. Other than that- everyone else was happy both with the portions As well as the taste!

Yelp
Between the hostess and the 2-3 waitresses I interacted with, they were all brisk and felt as if they were just trying to turn tables. I also waited to put in my order after 4 other parties who were seated after me placed their orders. Food was pricey even though portions were large. Food flavors were lacking and were either wafer bland or ocean-water salty (nothing in between). I also noticed, sadly, hopefully unintentionally, all the families of color were seated in the back of their outdoor space.

Yelp
First time and it was fantastic. Service was great like your typical local diner. Fried chicken had amazing crispy flavor skin. The Mac and cheese was creamy. I had the chicken fried steak and the gravy was solid but not a guy bomb. Didn't love the plain coffee. The hash browns had like a spice or salt on it and it was nice and charred. Not sure what the flavor was but I enjoyed it with some yolk and gravy on them. Great place, very fair prices, and everyone around us seems to be enjoying their food. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
The space might be small but wowser are the portions amazingly big and plentiful! You might want to not eat for a day (just drink water to live of course) in order to truly love this experience. The ambiance is a blast back to the 50's era it looks like. The servers are friendly and super helpful in determining what to order. There is plenty of street parking, but be careful where you park, certain lots advertise towing those will be patronizing Sax's.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun old fashioned style breakfast and lunch restaurant that is very popular. They don't take reservations so they might have a wait. Everything inside is decorated like the 50s. They have pancakes, Benedict's and more. I had the pancakes today and also tried the French toast. Everything was very good and they are very nice! I came here before years ago and it's still good they are consistent.
google avatar

Yelp
What a neat find! Excellent breakfast, good service and cool place. The cinnamon roll was off the hook. Will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I can see why so many Yelpers have reviewed this place with overwhelming positive reviews. This place is simply awesome from the service to the food to the ambiance! This place hits all the boxes. This is a 50's type diner with excellent service where servers dress in that era of clothing. The food has super flavor and their pancakes and French toast was fantastic! Take it from a helper who loves breakfast! One of the best French toasts you will have. If you are in the area, this is a MUST EAT PLACE!! You won't be disappointed! Make it a priority to stop here! You will certainly enjoy it!

Yelp
Welcome to the portal. Travel back in time at this old school style diner experience. My first visit here they had a super off day. Was so bad I was not sure I would return. One of those things that needed to be discussed with the management / owners. They were very responsive so I decided to give it another shot and the service was much more on point so let's chalk it up to a bad day. We all have them. The food is good but would not go if you are looking to shed some ponds in the mid section. It is a diner with fattening sweet savory food. Great way to start the morning!

Yelp
Came here today with my 2 sons and enjoyed it. Service was excellent, we were greeted with smiles and quickly seated. The place wasn't super busy, and the vibes were good. Our food came out swiftly and was nice and hot. Our server checked in and made sure everything was great. I ordered the crab cake melt with fries and my son ordered the biscuits and gravy, with 2 eggs and sausages with a cookies and cream milkshake. The serving sizes are very generous. The food was delicious. Next time I'll order my crab cake melt with no spinach. I didn't like how the first 1/2 of my sandwich fell apart, had to get my hands dirty, but overall it was worth it. I definitely recommend this place and what I ordered! My son said he loved his shake and food too! My other son is a toddler so we just shared our food with him. The menu has so many options and the prices are great.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the crab cake Benedict. Tasted very fishy (more than normal) and felt sick to my stomach afterwards. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would try this place again but definitely not the crab cake Benedict, which is typically my favorite.
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
Had a to-go order and everything was perfectly prepped just the way I ordered it. They have more selections of cinnamon rolls with different flavors of icing. Also, I attached a small menu for the road.
google avatar

Yelp
I got a Togo order of Crabcakes, eggs and OJ. ---- Crab cake was good... but I threw up maybe 10 minutes after eating it. Now I can't tell if it was the crabcake or the eggs but either way.... Very, very weird . The orange juice was disgusting. Possibly the worst orange juice I've ever had in my life. I don't know what happened there... This place leaves me with mixed feelings. Crabcakes were good eggs were good, but they made me sick. I'm 50:50 on coming back.

Yelp
We were driving through town and my husband was starving so I looked up what was near us. Cute little retro cafe that had all the feels. I ordered the crab cake Benedict with the eggs poached hard. And hubby had the French toast. His French toast was super yummy and he was super pleased, until he overheard the waitress telling the table next to us the specials. Whatever he heard he said, that's what he would have ordered but we were never told there were any specials. He still liked what he had but was disappointed. My food came out cold! And the eggs poached super runny. I was given a new one and enjoyed it all. The food satisfied us and as I always do, I asked my husband if he would come back and he said yes!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick breakfast on a weekday. I was able to be seated in the back area of the restaurant. Its cutely decorated throughout with retro things, such as i love lucy's tin lunch boxes. I was quickly greeted by my server after being seated, and my food came out shortly after being ordered. Breakfast was delicious- I believe it was the Chicken Fried Chicken with over easy eggs. Super yummy and filling.

Yelp
Sax's Joint offers a charming 50's style atmosphere that takes you back in time. We found this place based on all the amazing reviews on both Google and Yelp. From the beginning, the service was fast and friendly. Luckily, we came early enough so we didn't have to wait. Due to the small size of the restaurant, everyone who arrives when the restaurant is full has to wait outside, which doesn't sound that great, especially on a chilly morning or a rainy day. Our server, Baily, was nice and attentive. We had two cups of coffee, and I had waffles with whipped cream, while my husband opted for the chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns. The chicken fried steak was tough and chewy, but the gravy had a nice flavor. The hashbrowns and eggs were good, though not outstanding. Overall, everything was good, but nothing was great.

Yelp
I love a classic diner and this one is as good as it gets! We were in town for the lacrosse tournament and I found this spot based on Yelp reviews. We had a group of 5 and were nervous to come as walk-ins on a weekend since they don't take reservations. 2 friends got there at 9:45am and put our names down. The rest of us showed up at 10am and then we were seated right away! The inside feels like a typical diner with staff running around, everyone in matching black + pink diner t-shirts, photos and oddities lining the walls, a visible opening into the kitchen where you can see the cooks working hard...it all has a laid back and comfortable vibe that makes you feel welcome! The staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs. The menu is huge, it was hard to make a decision. 2 of my friends started with mimosas which came out in mason jars with a bright pink sugar rim! I got one of the breakfast combos that came with eggs, bacon, country potatoes topped with sour cream & green onions, and a homemade biscuit! So much food for $15! Everybody in my group loved their food, it was all delicious and came with great serving sizes. I got a cinnamon roll togo, it was massive and oh so good! I wish this diner was closer to where I live, I would definitely be a regular here! They have some unique breakfast items that I would love to try in the future. Next time I'm back in Petaluma I will plan to return for brunch!

Yelp
This place was not that great. my BLT had too much mayo and lettuce. My husband had to pay extra for what most places offer to come with the meal.
google avatar

Juan M.

Yelp
Sax is a super cute, diner with a hip Rosie the Riveter type aesthetic with polite, adequate service and huge portions of comfort food... unfortunately, the food runs bland & gloppy. Unfortunately, it is not compelling enough to return again.

Yelp
Stoped for breakfast with sweetheart, little grand baby and her mom. Sign said stroller not allowed. Warm friendly reception. Place small but clean and organized. Requested for patio sit since stroller not allowed. Staff accommodating and helpful. Got our patio sitting. Ordered crab cake Benedict and eggs and bacon with gluten free toast and home fries. Fresh coffee sounded so good on a nippy morning. Love their oldies music playing. Food was delicious and good size for an order. Fairly decent prize too. Nice enjoyable family breakfast.

Yelp
Very good food, good service servings are huge. And the biscuits are from nirvana!!!

Yelp
Sax's is over the top !! Great selection and great food no matter what you choose. Large helpings, super fun staff & environment. If you don't try it, you made a mistake !!

Yelp
Sax's Joint is a real, live, 50s diner with attentive staff and huge portions. We split crab cakes with grits, which came with 2 eggs. Also a monster cinnamon roll as an appetizer. Locals frequent this restaurant. Your dreams of breakfast will be fulfilled.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good fried chicken spot, this is it! I've been searching all of Sonoma county for some good ol' fashioned fried chicken, and I can honestly say that Sax's joint does just that! It priced fairly (20 bucks) for ALOT of fried chicken (& a waffle). It does take 25 minutes to make fresh to order, but worth the wait! We've also ordered other items off the menu here, and they're all a hit! They're mac n cheese is also phenomenal, and their portions are for like two people! Love this place. Wish they were open all day!
google avatar

HOLLY P.

Yelp
The service was excellent. We did not have to wait long on a Saturday morning around 10:30. Had the Florentine Benny, which was cooked perfectly. It came with a ton of hashbrowns and I ordered a side of bacon. It was really delicious. My BF had the hash with eggs and he really liked it as well. He loved the biscuit that came with it.

Vivienne T.

Yelp
Intimate fun throwback-to-the-50s-joint offering mouthwatering breakfast faves (hash, biscuits etc) and burgers! The decor is Rizzo from Grease meets Biker chick goth and the family-owned business has a charming backstory to it.
google avatar

Julia G.

Yelp
Upon entering Sax's Joint I felt at peace to be at a family run, home cooking joint!! I'm from the South and the menu of chicken fried steak and shrimp and grits reminded me of home. The service is outstanding, we were greeted by multiple staff members and everyone was so friendly!! We got lucky as there wasn't too long of a wait. It's a small space so you may have to wait in line to get in. The hot chocolate tasted similar to a hot chocolate mix but the fresh whipped cream and sprinkles elevated it! The biscuit was the best part - it was massive and I loved the fresh jam and butter. I was surprised that the shrimp was fried as it normally isn't in classic shrimp & grits. The grits were kind of bland and I felt the gravy was a bit too rich for me and had more of an onion flavor than anything else. Kind of potent for the early morning. The eggs were fine but could've benefited from seasoning. Overall 5 stars for ambiance and service and biscuit and closer to 3 stars for the shrimp & grits. Points for HUGE portion size at a reasonable price. I'd like to come back and try some other things! Thank you!

Yelp
My husband and I come here often, we have been trying most of the items on the menu. Everything that they serve is amazing. Today we had the chicken and waffles, if you're really hungry don't order this. It does take about 30min to make, but it's so work the the wait. The chicken was so crunchy on the outside and juice and tender on the ones. The waffle was so tasty it didn't even need the syrup. The steak and eggs is amazing and super flavorful, we get this most of the time. It comes with a huge biscuit, with a side of home made jam. The prices are unbeatable, $20 for chicken and waffles is a steal, and under $25 for steak and eggs. Not only is the food delicious it's big portions, we always have leftovers. It does get busy and a little loud on the weekends, make sure to get here early to beat the crowds
google avatar

Livier M.

Yelp
Really solid breakfast spot. They had a ton of options to select from and the portions are hearty. The vibes are very much old school diner without all the fuss. Service was fast and friendly and definitely recommend grabbing a cinnamon roll to go. Only complaint was the orange juice we ordered tasted almost like grapefruit rather than orange juice. We didn't finish it because the bitter taste just sat on your tongue for so long and just made the food taste weird. Aside from that it really is a gem here in Petaluma.

Yelp
OMG!! Such a flashback to the rollerskating 60s and doo-wop pompadours I missed out on completely! Lol I love this little spot with its rockabilly, modern style to its diner, quality food. Granted, the only thing gluten-free what was a toast, I had myself a definite cheat meal when I ordered the special, banana, Foster French toast!! Luckily, I ate vegetables, the rest of the day, so I didn't die later, but it was a beautiful dessert for breakfast, and my boyfriend got a waffle, which I wish they would have said, came with powdered sugar, mainly because I do not like powdered sugar it gives a chalky flavor in my mouth. but the service was great, I loved how all the servers were dressed with their own rockabilly style and 60s ponytail! My coffee was always hot and I'm pretty sure French roast which is a bit harsh for my sensitive stomach but it worked fine since my boyfriend got hot water and I mixed the two. Yes I know blasphemy. Lol. I will definitely go back here again when I need another cheat day I just wish they had some gluten-free waffles or something without eggs in it so my stomach wouldn't dilator. But definitely an amazing spot and I love the throwback to the 60s and I want one of those cinnamon rolls I saw on the way out for later! But I can't do too much gluten in one day or I will die. Hee.

Yelp
Best breakfast spot in all of Sonoma County. I don't think there is one bad thing that I have tried over the years. Somehow, it just keeps getting better and the portions are unbelievable. Highly recommend this place. Service is always top notch. Be sure to bring your appetite and be ready to readjust your belt after your meal.
google avatar

Jane S.

Yelp
There's no surprise how busy Sax can get! Their Benedict's and French toast is what I love most about their breakfast! It's quality you can't get elsewhere. Sometimes they can get very busy where the cook can be a little off but be sure to let them know so they can fix it for you! Love the ambience and vibe of this diner! Must try for sure.

Yelp
Rude owner and rude staff. Most unwelcoming place I have ever been to. FYI, no strollers allowed. I wish they had this posted somewhere. 1. As soon as we arrived the first thing we heard was profanity being used by who we thought was an upset staff member as she had the apron and uniform. Turns out it was the OWNER. She was on her cellphone right outside of the restaurant yelling at someone about a gift certificate. From what we heard it sounded like a guest at the restaurant was saying there should be a balance of $45 on the gift certificate and the owner was yelling at someone on the phone that it had a $25 balance and asking what amount the person on the other side of the call made it for. I was shocked the restaurant allowed that type of image for the restaurant, but I later learned it was the OWNER. 2. When you arrive you have to sign in on a piece of paper and they won't seat you until "your entire party is standing in front of the restaurant." This is inconvenient as parking is hard to find. But oh well, this isn't too terrible yet they should also post this information somewhere. 3. When the hostess saw my stroller she said they didn't allow strollers inside, so I requested a table outside. No biggy right? Well once our table was ready, the SAME hostess tells us strollers are not allowed outside either. Hmm, why have us wait for the table we requested outside because strollers aren't allowed "inside." At this point I explain the stroller is the size of a chair and that it would take the space of one chair. (Bugaboo bee5 stroller, super compact stroller) The hostess with the most rudest tone ever said she'd get the owner too see if she'd allow it. 4. Owner comes and it's the lady who was using profanity outside of the restaurant! I was shocked yet I continued to explain that my 10month old eats in the stroller as the stroller can be made into a seated position and that it's probably smaller than the restaurant's chairs. The owner in a loud very rude tone said no and said the stroller handle stuck out too much. So I made the stroller even more compact by collapsing the handle. I explained I use the stroller as a high chair because high chairs are germ infested and it's the flu season so I told her if she could provide a sanitized high chair or some disinfectant I could use to wiper it down. The words that came out of her mouth when I requested a sanitized high chair were "I can seat you in the parking lot." At this point I could no longer tolerate her rude loud unwelcoming demeanor and told my party let's just go. 5. When I tried to leave the owner grabbed me from both of my arms and was saying something about let's make this work but I firmly responded "don't touch me" and she said ok and let go of me and walked away. WOW! Just wow, my father doesn't speak much English so he didn't understand the dialogue and just saw the body language and what he saw was discrimination against a minority. I didn't take it like that but the more I play back the entire scenario and feeling of unwelcomeness, the more I wonder if my race could have determined the treatment we received. After this horrible experience we were still very hungry and yelped breakfast places in Petaluma. We ended up Cafe Bellini where we were treated with respect, kindness, and with amazing food. Which I'll be yelping about.

Yelp
What a fun diner! The ambiance is lively and the food was some of the best diner food I've had! Portions were large and well priced. I advise sitting at the counter for amusing entertainment between the kitchen and servers. There can be a wait, but it is well worth it!

Yelp
Service was friendly and fast. The food was good and nice portion sizes. Outdoor seating available too. I would come back here again!

Yelp
Brunch fans! Breakfast is served pretty much all day! You won't find bigger, fluffier, or more delicious breakfast pastries for a reasonable price than here at Sax's. The vibe is very down home and convivial. It's not fancy, but if you want large portions of yummy food, this place is a great choice! I reviewed this place over a year ago and it's still a great go-to spot in Petaluma. They even serve mimosas! Service is friendly and fast, menu selections are abundant, and generous portions are served. If you're aiming for a quiet spot, try the outside corridor or back of the restaurant outdoors. As long as it's not on a weekend, you can ask for a booth in one of three cozy Tuck-away spots by the front door behind the cashier. Parking is abundant on Petaluma Boulevard.

Yelp
Not.a long wait for a busy morning! Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and busy! But that didn't take away from her great service! The ambiance was busy but nice! Everyone was so friendly! The food was FANTASTIC! Everything was delicious and I would 1000% recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a phenomenal, filling breakfast!

Yelp
Came here for breakfast on a rainy Sunday morning and the place was packed. You put your name, party size, and where you want to sit on a paper outside, then wait to be called. There's no host to give you an estimated wait time, but you can sort of gauge it by how many uncrossed names there are. We probably waited around 20 minutes. To eat I ordered California Benedict substituting potatoes for hashbrowns, and my mom one of the French toast options. Food came out in what felt like a matter of minutes. The portions were pretty large for both meals. The Benedict was filling and came with super thick cut bacon. My favorite part of the meal was the hashbrowns, they were super crispy and very flavorful, didn't have add anything to them to enjoy. We sat inside in the back room which was filled with old school pictures and other retro memorabilia. From the checkered floors to the waitresses wearing bandanas in their hair, the whole place gave off a retro vibe. The place does seem to be super popular and therefore was really loud. Not the most relaxing environment, but as the larger parties cleared out so did some of the noise. Overall a solid breakfast spot serving up traditional diner food at a reasonable price. Street parking was available across the street and on the side street at the end of the block.

Yelp
I came here only because I was coming to buy something from someone from Facebook Marketplace. I came all the way from Hayward. Pros: AMAZING FOOD. FAST SERVICE. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Cons: Super small place. No waiting area when to be seated so we waited outside under an unstable pop up tent in the rain when there was ALOT of us waiting. In the beginning I was a little upset because my husband was standing out in the rain after he put our name down on the list. He called me out when we were 3rd next on the list to be called because they won't seat unless the entire party was there. Finally we were waiting awhile and figured it was our turn... But when I checked on the list two other parties were sat before us and one of them was a party of 2 like us. They came out and said we had to wait because no tables were becoming available yet. When we were called it was a tiny little table very close to everyone around us. BUT.... Once we sat everything went well from there. The server was amazing. Food was sooooo good. THEE BEST FRENCH TOAST IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE lol. I'm forsure coming back. No doubt.

Yelp
Large portion sizes where you will always have leftovers for later. My favorite go-to meal here is the cheeseburger with seasoned fries. If you want a good shake to go with it, order the chocolate one! The only thing that I was was different was a better seating area.

Yelp
If you want to have a great big breakfast you need to check this place out, i ordered the special chicken fried pork chop !!!omg Delicious!!!!great service kinda gives you a old Petaluma happy days vibe, If have not tried this place and you want a great American meal this is the place. Don't ask for almond milk here ,coffee and cream and you are good to go ! Nice outside seating option and parking available in back.

Yelp
Absolutely love Sax's Joint! I have been coming here for a few years now. I am not from the area, so when I found this establishment, I was amazed. The location of this restaurant is super cute, as it is decorated as an 80's diner with a pop of pink. So it's super easy to spot this establishment. Street parking also makes it super easy to access. And every time I have come here, the hosts, server, & just everyone there, are super friendly and accommodating. Every time I eat here, I have to always have their famous French toast. They're always super fluffy, sweet & delicious. Ahh, and don't get me started with their cinnamon rolls. They are a must! You have to try them. Overall, I have always had enjoyable experiences & my food has always been great. Love bring my friends & family here too. Will definitely be returning !
