Yelp
This place has been on my mind every time we stayed in Vegas, and I finally got a chance to try this place when my family and I visited during Easter weekend.
This is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Mandalay Bay and Four Seasons hotels. The only thing to be careful of is traffic. The restaurant is on the corner of Four Seasons Drive and Las Vegas Boulevard. McDonald's is at the corner, where their big sign is visible. From either hotels, we'd have to cross Las Vegas Boulevard along Four Seasons Drive, and when walking on green from the hotel side to the strip mall, the cars waiting to make a left from Four Seasons onto Las Vegas will zoom by while we're still on the crosswalk! We crossed this street 2-3 times during our stay and it happened every time. The cars can turn left on green as well, but they don't really yield to pedestrians so just need to be on alert.
The strip mall is small with a small parking lot, with only a McDonald's, Sayulitas, Panda Express, JF Bakery, and a Liquor Outlet. The McDonald's has a drive-thru. Not sure if JF Bakery is still in business as it was always closed when we came here.
Back to Sayulitas...I was excited to try something with a Filipino twist, but ended up getting the Sayulitas burrito, $20.69 (shrimp, bacon, rice, lettuce, Mexican salsa, guacamole, grilled cheese, and chipotle sauce). Kiddo got the bacon wrapped burrito, $21.72 (carne asada burrito with Mexican salsa, guacamole, cheese, and chipotle sauce wrapped and grilled with bacon). This took an extra 15 minutes to make since they had to cook/grill the bacon. Hubs got the Pacman burrito, $21.72 (tocino, carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, Mexican salsa, chipotle sauce, and fries). We also got the hot cheetos fries, $21.72 (carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, nacho cheese, and hot cheetos). I also got the pineapple aguas, $5.16 (the lady let me try the pineapple aguas and horchata...they were both yummy, but decided on the pineapple).
Now, in hindsight, I realized that there was a discrepancy in pricing between their website, menu board inside the restaurant, and what we were charged. For instance, the Sayulitas burrito online is $18.99, menu board $19.99, and what we were charged $20.69. Huh? We were charged more for all items ordered...can't do anything about it now, but something to be aware of.
Portions were huuuuuge. We initially got the food for dinner, but it lasted for lunch and dinner the following day, too. Saved us $$ haha. We especially like the hot cheetos fries. There's something about the nacho cheese with fries. So good.
