"One of the city's older, more traditional joints" Tony said. Tony and Zamir are both hungover from the previous evening's shenanigans. They had a hangover cure, khashi which Zamir explained is made of beef broth from bones and joints. Tony did not think it worked. He did enjoy the chashushuli, "a stew of slow-cooked veal with onion and tomato, heavily seasoned with coriander, fennel, garlic, and chilies."

The food was very delicious. The service was top-notch. I don’t know what kind of bad service people are writing about in the comments — maybe they’re just bitter with sour faces. Everything was tasty and affordable. The place is also open until late. There weren’t many people, and the serving was very fast. We were served by the waitress Nata, who truly deserved her tip. Local residents also recommend this place, and I absolutely agree with them.

Very cool place . I was here for the first time, but my husband often came here when he lived in Batumi and today he showed me this restaurant. There are a lot of guests here in the evening, but we came in and were very happy. There is an incredible atmosphere here, architecture is a separate art. My children were delighted with the large number of wood products in this restaurant and the evening lights add a special atmosphere. The food here is very tasty. Of course, we took khinkali, khachapuri, the barbeque reminded me of my native house and how dad cooks. There's delicious wine here. I would like to say thanks to the waiters, they are so friendly and very sincere.

I only ordered 4 things and the waiter forgot to bring the beer anyway. There was no one in the restaurant. Khinkali were slightly undercooked and tough. Chicken BBQ could use more seasoning. THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED 13% TIPS. There are many other restaurants in Batumi with cheaper prices and tastier food.

Possibly the best place to eat. Whatever we ordered, everything was delicious. Khinkali, filled with delicious, moderately spicy minced meat. Lyulya or shashlik, juicy, aromatic. Khachapuri, kharcho, snacks, cheeses - everything was too delicious. The staff speaks both Russian and English. Polite and friendly. I send greetings to the whole establishment from our team! I hope to see you again! P.S. I hope the beer mugs don't leak😉

Great Georgian restaurant with cool medieval Georgian decor and awesome food. I had the Khinkali, which was delicious. The food came out fast too.

Took a long time to get any service but I feel like that’s an ongoing issue for any English people in Georgia. They found us an English speaking waiter and we had a trout, soup and a stew. Food was okay, not the best but Anthony bourdain had been here so I thought I’d try. Was a good welcome to Georgia as our first meal, but service staff atrocious. If you want cash tips from tourists at least say hello…
