The food is a little wait to be served due to its very busy, which is good. Entering a warm welcome and Andy was our waiter very pleasant and polite gave me the service I expected to receive. I recommend the food , tasty n their flan appetizer divine,

Google
A bit of a hole in the wall, but definitely worth a stop. Very authentic food and everything is cooked fresh and made to order. No dedicated parking outside. They have take out service and also candies/junk food that you need to try inside. Would definitely come back

Google
Very simple, but nice and tasty food . We had breakfast, chicken tamales, and some dessert. I love good tea, unfortunately they do not offer nice black tea only Lipton, and I hate it. I will come back again.

Google
Great place, great food, excellent flavor and the best of all friendly staff. Me encanto un muy buen lugar para comer.

Had the pupusa con queso y frijoles and the pupusa con chicharron. Both were very good. Also had the empanada de leche y platano. This was decent but not worth the calories I think, the milk filling was a bit off in texture and taste.

Decided to try this restaurant on Uber Eats on a whim and I am so glad I did! We got two orders of the chicken, steak and shrimp to share and it was delicious. Truly. Would definitely order from here again!!

Google
Food: Delicious and well seasoned, great portions as shown, and freshly made food. Pupusas were so delicious that even my picky toddler ate them! Prices: We spent ~$40 for two entrees, a plate of 4 pupusas, and drinks. Great prices! Location: no frills location with little to no decor on walls. Service: our waitress was attentive and checked in often without annoying us :) Would I recommend? Definitely!

Google
Good food but very rude and poor customer service from staff. Would recommend going to other local spots that treat their customers well and with respect.

Yelp
This is probably the best Salvadorean/Honduran food I've had in the US and it's in Yonkers of all places where it seems to be tough to find a decent meal. The service from the gentleman was almost saccharine which was unusual to this tough as nails Manhattanite. Got the baleadas, pupusas and carne asana. Not a bad dish in the bunch. The plantain chips are homemade, too!

Yelp
The experience was worth every minute. The staff focused on my needs first and responded to my inquiries with enthusiasm. Sazon CentroAmericano combines the right spot, friendly service, and reasonable costs. The value matches the flavor here. We loved it.

Yelp
I dont even know where to begin. This place was the best latin American food i have ever had. I am from buffalo ny and am visiting yonkers. The customer service was amazing and friendly. the beef tender, food is fresh and hot, seasoned to perfection. The guacamole is sooo fresh, the prices are EXTREMELY affordable!!! I wish i could take this place to buffalo with me lol! Will be visiting again.

Yelp
I stopped by when lunch was winding down and enjoyed everything. The busy dining room didn't affect the quality service or pleasant environment. Their food impresses and their service never falters. Workers here combine attentive care with impressive food knowledge. The restaurant deserves full stars based on my experience.

Yelp
The dishes here reveal cooking talent! The taste profile was excellent. The ambiance benefits from thoughtful decoration. The team members are notably pleasant. I plan to return with family.

Yelp
Fantastic steak, came with a choice of two sides. Flavorful! $16 in 2023. Friendly service and nice shop overall.

Yelp
I was craving pupusas today and decided to do some research and I ended up ordering from here via Grub Hub. The delivery was fast and well put together. The first thing I had was the pork tamale and it was fresh, moist and tasty. Then I had the pupusas and they definitely fixed the craving. The breaded chicken with the tostones and rice mixed with beans was delicious!!! I will have to make sure to continue ordering and supporting this business.

Yelp
Good food, friendly service, a wide variety in the menu. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice interior setting. Cash or card.

Yelp
Last week I was out for lunch with my wife and we stopped by Sazon CentroAmericano, and we were blown away by the food. I ordered the Pollo con Tajadas and I left the plate clean! Would absolutely recommend. Michael Levy Principal Broker at Grand Lux Realty

Yelp
Delicious food and inexpensive! Large portions. My mother is Nicaraguan and this food seemed like home, very similar flavors

Yelp
If there is one dish you have to try, it is baleadas especial with egg and sausage and meat + cheese and beans. They give you a choice, but if you pay a buck more, you can get more. It is the best dish in the menu. Which is a big claim, as their papusas are fantastic and same goes for their grill meats. But, try this dish.
google avatar

Marines M.

Yelp
I think this is really a matter of personal taste and eating dishes that resemble what you grew up eating, yet they're prepared in a manner that makes them totally foreign. It's effectively running into a dish for which you expect a specific taste and texture yet it comes out is completely different than your expectations it's an almost certain recipe for not liking a meal. This is exactly what happened to me. Empanadas shouldn't have rice in them nor should the filling be mushy. Tamales shouldn't have potatoes in the dough. Pupusas shouldn't be terribly oily. All in all I'm glad I tried it .... won't be going back. On the positive, though the restaurant is incredibly clean and everyone working here is incredibly pleasant.

Yelp
Great food but can be a hit or miss which is upsetting. Nobody wants undercooked chicken. The pupusas are usually a hit as well as the corn tamale. Service is usually fast. Small quaint place.

Yelp
Worth the Food is ok. The service is really nice a friendly. Small place but clean.

Yelp
A gem in yonkers!!!! Sometimes they get so busy that its hard to get them on the phone to place an order but they also grubhub. I have been here about 5 times and the food is always on point and superrr affordable. Definitely one of my go to's!

Yelp
Food is great ,friendly service thumbs up , the food is freshly made recommended coming here ,worth the experience

Yelp
Yeah this place place has really tasty, well prepped food: First, Yucca, cabbage and chopped meat dish madness. A texture and flavor explosion. Like a Honduran Lomé Saltado. Delish. Pupusa's were good, not too thick. Tamales were really good as well. They had a bit of fluff and didn't feel like a ton of bricks in your tummy. I could have eaten the pork filling on its own. Reminds me of the Chinese Pork Bun filling with Central American flavors. Cabbage was superb, really fresh. Finally a Central American spot that take pride in its white rice! Good enough to eat plain. Cherry on top. I will return.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Great atmosphere. Food is great and prices A at a reasonable price. I had two pupusas. Delicious!! Coming from Cali I could definitely say this is one of the spots I'll be hitting when feeling like grabbing Salvadorian food. Also try the atole, it's delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
All I can say is WOW! Amazing fresh food for a really good price. The service was amazing to top it off. Don't be fooled by the location, once you go in it is quiet and very nice employees.

Yelp
Lively place but just did not seem very clean to me. Food was quite tasty but when the entree arrived it came with a little bonus I will leave it at that. Don't think I will be coming back.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Honduran restaurant. I have been here a handful of times. I have been to a lot of them in The Bronx, Long Island, and Brooklyn but Sazon Centroamericano is one of the best. Their baleadas are amazing and huge. Their homemade tortillas de arena are bangin'. Some places it taste like they bought a bag of tortillas from the supermarket and put it on your plate but not at here. Also, their horchata is also on point. I haven't tried their carne asada or pollo con tajadas, but my dad has and he loved it. Also don't forget to try the pupusas when you visit.
google avatar

Frankie M.

Yelp
I wanted to eat Central American cuisine nearby so I Yelped and was on my way. Pretty good portions on the meal but other reviewers were right about the horchata, not too flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive for the nsot part, but I had to take off a star bc I had to ask for my takeout baleadas like 4 times. We had 2 waitresses so they were walking in and out the kitchen and wasn't sure if they were going to come back with it. Luckily, it came and I had a great breakfast the next day
google avatar

Yelp
Unbelievable foooooood!!! This place is the best hidden gem in the entire New York! I travel from Brooklyn just to come here and eat. Top 3 foods on my list : fried yuka, chicharon and fried chicken.... totally out of this world!!!!! Their Pupusa was fantastic as well plus much more. We have been here many times and each time happier than previous. Cleanliness: 5/5 Friendliness:5/5 Deliciousness:5/5 Speed for food: 3/5 (good food takes time, so for that home cook taste of goodness it's worth the wait, be patient) If you are in the mood for some good food, stop reading this review and head on over to this incredible spot! Happy feasting.

Yelp
Visited Sazon CentroAmericano, what a fabulous place. It's in a perfect location and we were definitely pleased with our experience. Every thing that I have tried was really great and I would come back to have it again! Team are very lovely and service is really fast. Sazon CentroAmericano - Very impressive.

Yelp
What a treat! Stopped in while staying in the area for a wedding. Really nice inside and great for families (no alcohol). Food was flavorful, creative, authentic. The papusas with beans and cheese were amazing and very reasonable. The chicken enchiladas were delicious and creative. But my favorite was the "2 Flour Tortillas" with beans, eggs, cheese. Wow. So handmade, delicious and very reasonable. Wish I could eat more. Lastly, the flan dessert was fantastic!!

Yelp
The driver was absolutely disgusting. Even though I declined the contactless delivery, the driver left my food on the floor and rang the bell. Once my boyfriend answered the door he told him that he shouldn't leave the food on the floor and tried to tip him. The driver shoved him and threw the tip back in his face. The driver then proceeded to text me and call me a son of a b*tch and a damn dog. I called the restaurant to report him and they acted like they didn't speak English and hung up on me. I will be contacting Chase.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Tasted fresh, packed up well and good portions for the price. Delivery was fast and efficient!

Amor E.

Yelp
Stellar Salvadoran food. I had the pupusas (you can never go wrong with those) and the fish in tomato sauce. The fish was truly delicious taste wise. Some of the best I ever had. Also, I had it delivered and the quality still there
google avatar

Guillermo V.

Yelp
THE PUPUSAS ARE GOOD SO COME TRY THEM! You're welcome They have a large variety of pupusas and they taste authentic and like they were made at home by your abuelita or tia pupusera I dined in the restaurant for the first time because I was surprised that the reviews were so good so I came to see what the hype was about. I myself grew up eating this food so I know what it really needs to taste like. I had nice central American style enchiladas and my dad had a tripe soup. First off, the interior of the restaurant is very cozy and warming. A nice chill setting. I really loved the big sunroof windows. Secondly, We were served quickly and the food was ready at a reasonable time. My enchiladas were delicious but they weren't exactly that "homey" flavor I was looking for. But the tripe soup really hit the spot. It was very much a "homey" taste. I am pretty sure the rest of the food tastes close to homemase, despite the negative reviews of some.

Nancy M.

Yelp
Good food, but horrible service. None of the waitresses attempted to help us in English, so I had to try using the little Spanish I know. I would have ordered more food if at least one person spoke English. The Baleadas were good, and the tacos were mislabeled on the menu, my family expected Mexican style. Not coming back unless necessary.

Yelp
Stumbled across this gem. Family friendly. Fresh food. Seems authentic as many "natives" were in the place. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Yelp
I'm new to Yonkers and have not a single pot or pan in my apartment so I'm in the process of identifying go to places for certain meals. I ordered breakfast from Sazon CentroAmericano and was super pleased!! Fast delivery. Good food. Friendly staff

Yelp
Delicious and authentic! Ordered for pickup on a Saturday night and it was well worth the 30 min wait. I showed up after 15 mins and it was busy but not packed. Five tables full and I counted eight orders for delivery/pickup aside from my own. Beef soup was flavorful, with two chunks of beef and plenty of vegetables. Pupusas were full and good size for the price! Looking forward to ordering again soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Local restaurant businesses take note... this is how you provide good food and service. Baleada, breakfast platter eggs, fried plantain, cream, queso, and beef link), refried beans, and avocado on point! Best service and food delivery in the area!

Yelp
Found this restaurant by chance. Glad we decided to try it because not only was the food amazing the service was exceptional! Well deserved 5 stars.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place a shot after all the good reviews and reasonable prices. I ordered the chicken tacos(4) , my husband got the steak with onions and we got the plaintains with cream sauce to share. The "tacos" were more like taquitos which caught me by surprise. It came with their house coleslaw and dipping sauce. Since the tacos were a bit hard to bite and very bland in taste, dipping sauce was the saving grace. My husband enjoyed his steak w/onions which he paired with rice and beans and fries . You get to choose two sides which were pretty good portioned. He did mention that his fries were soggy but he ate them regardless. Plantains with cream sauce was delicious. I've tried so many plaintains and this was one of the best. It was just soft and just crunchy enough on the sides for my liking. If I had to go for one thing, I would get the plaintains again. Overall, it was not great, it was just ok.

Jonathan E.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. Try their "Baleadas!" To die for! Service is great! Been here plenty of times and the food does not disappoint.

J D.

Yelp
Great food at a great price! We loved everything we got - chicken and steak, several different kinds of pupusas, plátano maduro. Fresh, delivered hot, and tasty!
google avatar

Gabriel P.

Yelp
5 STARS! This place is definitely a hidden gem. Central American places are very hard to come by much less one that is Salvadoran and Honduran. The food here is as authentic as it gets and delicious! The service almost makes you feel like you are at home with your own family. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to try at least once. I am more than certain if you go once, you will find it very difficult to stop.
google avatar

Yelp
This is an authentic Honduras food restaurant, the baleadas are really good!!, enchiladas uhhm deli!!, I have to go back again to try different things from the menu. The service is excellent, food takes a little bit long, but the wait is worth it, food is fresh!, I will be back!!!
google avatar

Elvin L.

Yelp
Visit this restaurant frequently for their authentic Central American food and products. Balleadas are a must try and their tamales de ellote. Staff is always pleasant and the price is great!
google avatar

Xochitl D.

Yelp
Another late review for me lol. But I was around the area and located this local Gem - glad I did. You don't find many CentroAmerican restaurants especially one that sells authentic honduran food; ordered some Pupusas and baleadas. The horchata was a major disappointment -- definitely a no for me. But I'll definitely be back. :)

Yelp
Great food, great service, great prices. Nice to see a family owned business succeed . The owner her self, dinna, Host us, and share her story with us. 5 stars. Its my new lunch spot when im in yonkers.

Kevin A.

Yelp
Really good food, honest opinion. But the service is horrible!!!!There are like 3 waitresses at one table and that mixes up the things.
