"As the name suggests, this food truck specializes in the flavors of Garifuna people who descend from West Africa, the Caribbean, and the Arawak people. Serving as a mainstay for Houston’s Afro-Latine Garifuna population for years, diners can expect sumptuous dishes like seafood filet, coconut-infused stews, and plantains." - Camilo Hannibal Smith

READ ❗❗This location is on the ghetto side of Houston just be aware of surroundings. I called ahead to not wait. However when I got there my order was never made and they had not even started on it. Very inconvenient ! Then I waited another 20 minutes. I get home I was enjoying my food, until I find a big hair at the bottom of my tajadas just NASTY. I called them they didn't even apologize or anything just say take it back for a refund which I did. Because of this I did take a closer look inside when I went back was refunded and it looks dirty no hygiene or signs of cleanliness . I gave it 3 stars on food because the pollo con tajadas flavor was good, if you like hair on it but I don't not returning ! See photos! 🤢🤮

If you’re craving delicious Honduran food this is the place. I would advise to call and order ahead so your food is fresh and ready when you get there. I ordered the Pollo con tajadas and it was delicious! Only downside is that if you want red sauce you have to buy it separately but it’s also delicious without it. 😉 It’s located in a bit of a sketchy area fyi.

Based on the great reviews, I made this my first stop in Houston and it was delicious. I ordered the panpano frito and the pescado al ajillo. Both were really good and so filling! Each was enough for 2 to share. I will definitely be trying more things here. I do recommend calling ahead and was told about 25 min but they were ready in 35 min. There were a bunch of people by the truck but it was orderly and the ladies on the truck were sweet too.

Was craving some baleadas and have been wanting to check this spot out for a while. 10/10 recommend. Food was delicious! We got baleadas and zambos preparados. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

Wasn’t the best, the beans made me low key sick, ig it was alright, the baleadas was the only thing I tried tho maybe the rest of the food is better

The food/ taste/ seasoning is absolutely delicious. I do not visit as often as I’d love to due to locality and personal diet. But every time I do, the food is ON POINT. The girls are friendly and nice folks. My favorite dish here is the ‘mixto con camarones y caracol al ajillo’. It’s a mixed seafood plate with perfectly blended shrimp and snail in light garlic sauce served over rice and beans, fried toasted plantains, and lettuce salad. Their aderezo (sauce) is the perfect topping. Never disappoints and it’s very fulfilling. You can share the plate with another person and still be full. Their desayuno (breakfast) plates are so good too. The prices are reasonable and it’s best to call to order before pickup.
