Scandia Family Fun Center

My mother actually worked here when she was a teenager. We came back to see it and she showed us around how much it had changed. It’s really a nice family location, lots of arcade games, bumper cars, and mini golf!

Family of 5. We Went on a Sunday and had a blast! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Rode around the race track once, Had fun playing golf, and then then played arcade games the rest of the night. I love that you can put $20 on a card and play as much as you want an hour. The kids loved it. You can only play on the games with the green light, but there are so many different games to play. There are other card options as well(I posted pictures of the prices). Food price was very reasonable. Didn’t get to try the pizza, as they stop selling the pizza at a certain time. All in all, the experience was awesome and we play to go again for another round of golf⛳️

Scandia has a large variety of arcade games, and the minigolf is affordable and has very cute and creative golfing greens. When we went some of it was under construction which was disappointing, and some of the arcade games were broken. It does seem a little run down, however the batting cage and the water gun boats were very upbeat and were a lot of fun! It is definitely a space for older kids and families, and would be a very great birthday spot for your soon to be teen!

Love Scandia! Great line up of pinball - fun arcades some old school and some new. I've done the go karts/boats/mini golf with the family and always have a good time. Place is always clean and staff are friendly.

A fun place for kids (or big kids) to play for a while. Several of the arcade machines were not operational, and the only staff to be seen were behind the counter. The rest of it is automated. Recharge your card? Machine for that. Redeem tickets for cheap toys? Machine for that. Oh, and those tickets are now digital, no losing them at home between visits.

I went here on 4th of July and it did not disappoint. It was $30 for two adults which felt reasonable given the time we spent there and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather. The mini golf is a balance of hard and easy.

Fun for the kids. Equipment is lacking repair inside. Outside carnival rides seem in good order. The kids love it. I'd ask for more QC if it mattered what a parent thought will my kids are screaming with delight and charging around bonkers. Bottom line. They get the job done. Just don't get bitter that you didn't have all the fun.

I would have given this place 5 stars however what's with the restriction on which games you can play in the arcade when u pay 25 dollars person

We had such a great time at Scandia in Rohnert Park! The staff was awesome--Josh and Mayra were especially helpful and made our visit even better. We had a blast in the arcade (Halo Fireteam Raven was our favorite!) and the mini golf course was super fun and well-kept. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Scandia for a fun day out!

Scandia has always been a go-to place for the kids! They have all sorts of activities from; rides, go-carts, batting cage, arcade, miniature golf and more. It's fun and affordable for the family. They have done may upgrades to their games selections and the snack bar seats are also brand new. Self service prizes and game cards. Only thing left that needs remodeling is the bathrooms. The sink area has mold or very corroded. Other than that we had fun!

My friends and I had a good time at Scandia Family Center in Rohnert Park. For about $30, we got to enjoy mini-golf, arcade games, and the Lil' Indy Raceway. The mini-golf course was well-maintained and fun, the arcade had a good variety of games (though a few machines were out of order), and I'd say the most fun was at the Lil' Indy Raceway. The only minor issue was that when we went outside to do the Lil' Indy Raceway for the first time, there was no one there, and no signs indicating what was going on or when anyone would be back. Overall, Scandia offers good value for the price. It's a great place for a day of fun with friends and family.

I love the old school miniature golf, even under construction. It's always a fun time and it's $14 per person per game as of 10/2024. We had a fun time playing and trying to make it in the swinging doors of their recreations of castles and what a friend called a hobbit home! $28 for 2 to laugh, play and have some friendly competition sounds great to me! Scandia always brings back fond memories of growing up in Sonoma county and being a kid. One of my favorite places to go when I was young. I had my 8th birthday party here. They have really updated the arcade! They have a selection for unlimited games for an hour or 2 that is nice and then also a point system card. We spent $20 and left with points on our arcade cards for next time. The racing games were my favorite. My friend like the Jurassic park game because it felt like a ride! Their selection of pinball is impressive, they even have an old school scooby doo! The staff is helpful in answering questions and courteous. They have a good team working here. They have rides, racing and what I think is really cool, the batting cages. Work on your swing or just have some fun hitting some balls with a friend. This is a nice place to bring out your inner kid and have some carefree fun. If this wasn't under construction and we were able to play 18 holes, I would have given 5 stars. We just weren't able to due to the current construction. We will definitely be back! Love this place and the chill fun vibe!

Awesome date night. Throw some axes and play some classic games. Perfect family friendly way to get some energy out on a rainy day.

Fun spot out in Rohnart Park. This place has everything! Came around 5pm did some miniature golfing 18 courses wasnt to busy. Was sorta challenging and the course was not in the best shape but wasn't expecting it to be some 5 star resort or anything. Batting cage was great and they also had a good amount of arcade games inside. There was also go karts and some water park thing there which i didnt try but there are those options also. Pretty cool place if you around that area and they also got pretty decent pizza lol

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We've seen things just get worse and worse over time. At least 30-40% of the arcade games have issues. Most are broken and stay broken. They rarely put signs up saying broken so you end up just wasting your money. The shooting gallery has been dead for at least four years. The prize area was removed and instead replaced with vending machines. On this note, they keep lowering the jackpot amounts so it's essentially impossible to win any kind of decent prize. Very stingy of the current owners/management to do this. Half of the mini golf course has been torn up for at least a year with absolutely no progress being made on that front. We've jokingly '86'd this place many times but with so few options in the area we keep begrudgingly coming back. Epicenter up the road in Santa Rosa is pretty fun albeit it a bit more expensive. The arcade seems cleaner and better maintained in general though. Not sure how much longer a place like this is going to hang on for. Such a shame to see this place waste away like this! Probably just a boomer owned, hobby business that doesn't need to make money (tax shelter?). They really need to stop resting on their Laurels and get with the 21st century. Oh well. Additionally, they used to have multiple card re-charge stations. All are either broken or have been removed except for one. That one is also down about 50% of the time forcing you to have to buy points from the teenage staff. Such a weird vibe in general here, honestly. They do have a good selection of pinball games but most of the machines are completely battered and play poorly or have game play issues.

I had fun with my grandson on Saturday. It was his birthday. They made him special. Food was good. The pizza was awesome corndogs the great stuff was wonderful very friendly clean environment.

Geese have moved in near the mini golf area so there is goose poop EVERWHERE. The paths and putting areas are digusting. You're supposed to pick up your ball after it's run over poop? Had to skip a few holes because they were so dirty. Repair work has people walking on plywood and around caution tape. And the ponds have a gross layer of scum. Yuck.

I love the arcade here and in all the years I've been around the course has been fun and the additional rides are fun too. It's great to feel like a kid again going here.

One side of the golf course was closed and the other side had geese walking and defecating on the lanes. Do not go there. As long as the birds are there, the health hazard is real.

The mini golf course is fun and elaborate. And I won a free pass after getting a hole-in-one on the 18th hole, so marking this 3.5 as 4 rather than 3. The rides are okay, but overpriced. We got there right when it opened, the rides were a ghost town, but the golf course filled up fast. Service was unenthusiastic, maybe even annoyed, but it was the day after Thanksgiving, so maybe everyone was tired. Still, a good bet for family fun.

This place is not appealing. Worn out and they nickel and dime you from one activity to another. Especially disturbing are the fake assault rifle games at a "family fun" center. This is supposed to be for the children who are doing active shooter drills at school but go to Scandia to be exposed to more violence via shooting games? We will not be back nor will the other four families in our extended family

On Sunday my boyfriend Sanghoo P. and I decided to stop in for a fun date night idea! First we went on their fun Blaster Boats to cool off and had an absolute blast squirting and bumping each other and other kids lol! Let's just say we got absolutely soaked from head to toe! Next we went on both of their 18 hole award winning fun Mini Golf Courses, I scored a hole in 1, but my boyfriend definitely won! Last but not least we decided to try our hand at their Batting Cages, I definitely need some lessons, but my boyfriend on the other hand did amazing! I would highly recommend stopping into this location for a fun date night idea or if you have children! You'll have a blast, we'll definitely be back to play at their large arcade and win some prizes for my daughter. And I must say whoever attends to the plants does a beautiful job, I love their gorgeous flowers!

It was tuff the dropper was the best and so was the mini golf course. The food was kinda mid tho

Hanging out with teen one night who was bored and wanted to get out and do something! Quick search and we ended up here! We had a good time go karting, playing mini golf and in the batting cages. It's a good spot to go to every once in awhile and have some silly fun!

Came here with another family back in June and we had a great time! Back in June they required masks when in the establishment but masks could be off while golfing with your party. The place is well-maintained and clean. A lot of fun for the family with some challenging courses. We were surprised we won two free golf passes at the end! The benches were blocked off with signs and the indoor arcades were still functional.

I wouldn't recommend this place for the arcades. If you get the timed play you can only play about a quarter of the games they have there and they're not the best. and if you do you can only play 1 game every 5 minutes. If you buy the 30 minute play then that's like 6 games max. If you buy points instead to play the arcade games then it is going to cost you A LOT of money. Also the batting cages, half of them were broken. Do not recommend this place.

This is an awesome place if you have kids. You can spend $15.75 for two hours of unlimited arcade fun per person. There's also a package for unlimited rides in bumper cars, go karts, miniature golf, super soaker and a few others. It's a money saver compared to Dave and Busters or the like, especially if you have more than one kid. They do have a few vending machines: ice cream, snacks, and soda; additionally, they do serve pizza, corn dogs, nachos and some other bites.

I went to Scandia today to take my nine-year-old golfing. It was such a disappointment. It's run down, the carpets are bare, one of the holes was full of dirty water, so you couldn't put your hand in to get the ball out, you had to get your club and try to wack it out. I paid $25 for two of us and there was no way to justify that amount. It was just depressing. It's not the Scandia I remember from a few years ago.

It's definitely in much better shape compared to other mini golf/arcade establishments. It seemed like it was going through some resto updates. We'll likely not gonna be around to see the finished product. It's set in a nice town, with what seems like nice folks. Not a bad place to kill time with the kids, when vacationing in the Sonoma territory.

Would rate 0. These guys are SCAMMERS. Storytime, I walked to the entrance with a nearly empty can of beer. BUT I specifically didn't walk in because I considered it rude, so I stood next to the trash to throw it away after I finished . This lady with attitude, assuming she's the manager, told me I couldn't have alcohol there. So I apologized and said Im about to throw it out after I finish. (Note I only had one Modelo) She said "Okay Ill watch you finish it" NOTE THAT SHE GAVE ME THE OKAY TO FINISH MY BEER BEFORE GOING IN. I said "that's kinda weird but okay" and she responded with "I don't know why you're so intimidated by a girl" My girlfriend was present and I said "You think I'm intimidated" as I grab my girl by the hip. She pulls out her phone and says "okay I'll just take a picture of you" I said "okay now THATS weird, I can finish it or walk off the property if that's better" She stood there and I walked away to the parking lot. I finished my beer and threw it away in the trash. The whole time she was watching me. Now I do get I have some fault here by walking to the entrance with a beer, I can recognize my mistake. After I finished my beer, she watched and LET me go in with my friends. Not once did she state we had to leave. My friend was in the bathroom and we were waiting for her and AGAIN, she was watching us and even walked by us (she could have told us to leave then but she didnt) Our friend came out like 3 minutes later, which I'm assuming is when the manager called the cops on us. But once our friend came out, we went to buy our stuff (Karts and Batting cage) She purposely let us go in , let us spent money there, then proceeded to call the cops on us to trespass us. The cops came and I talked to them and they wanted us gone, but I told them I wasn't leaving without my refund because we didn't even get to use our moneys worth. We didn't even get to start our games before she came out with the cops. They tried so hard to detain me but we had LEGALLY done nothing wrong. They think cops have authority over us. Whole time I knew we not only got scammed, but unrightfully kicked out. They stated that the manager already told us to leave which she did not at all. I asked the cops "So they just scammed me out my money?" And he responded with "essentially yes" He said I could handle it in a civil matter but as of now they want me off the property. I politely asked and damn near begged if he could escort me inside to get my refund. They said no. What kinda fucking justice is that ?? I asked what we were trespassed for and they said the manager didn't say but that THEY can do that. Which is true, they are family owned. But the MAIN issue here is that, they watched us go in, they let us spend money, MY money, then call the cops to trespass us ?? This happened on Friday , today is Monday and I still haven't gotten my refund. Really don't go there cuz the manager has an attitude and thinks her emotions validate her actions. The only reason im writing about this is because one, it's MY MONEY, and I was treating my friends. So you could understand how that feels when a bitch of a manger ruins that. Two, lied to the cops about kicking us out. Three, had such an attitude which was kinda funny. Whole time I was trying to be civil about finishing my beer. And it's kinda sad that the manager took it that far but aye, whatever floats her boat. So best believe I'll get my refund one way or another. Edit: So I got my refund, finally. But my review will remain the same. I hope this place gets shut down and never heard from again , I wonder how many others have gone thru this and Scandia getting away with it. Go at your own risk.

It was cute, fun, kind of old school fun. Not very fancy. But provided hours of fun. Decent prices for games. Great experience.

No social distancing, no monitoring what so ever. People packed and not caring. I left due to the lack of caring or monitoring. Shrug... Do better !

Sweet 16 to my boy zachy bb! We were down the street at driven raceway for a few races and a birthday cake celebration. Then decided to do a full mini golf at Scandia. Mini golf was quite clean and operated properly. Not many kids during the ski week for Marin so that was a please. Service was accurate. Easy parking and lots of nearby shopping good for people coming from far and doing more activities afterwards.

This place has really stepped it up since the old days when I used to go. Tons of fun video games of course, and now a whole bunch of rides that really are fun! They have batting cages, go carts, and a really fun ride that takes you up really high. We had a birthday party there and they have really cool rooms for your guests, and the pizza there had really good tasting crust, and cheap generic pizza usually doesn't have that. They were also very attentive and kept checking to see if we had everything we need. They even loaned us a knife for the cake, and provided plates too. More than Chuck E. Cheese does. Normally we go to Chuck E. Cheese but we we're happy with our choice of Scandia as an alternative. Maybe we will go there again next time.

I've been coming here for over 25 years, and this place is still a little treasure to have in Sonoma County.There's a variety of things to do that won't break the bank and you can have fun with the whole family. There's a mini golf course, go karts, water floats, a drop ride and, of course, arcade. The place does show its age, but at least they do try to upkeep it and upgrade arcade games pretty often. It's a fun experience and a better value than other overpriced arcades. I definitely recommend coming here with the family.

All the workers are very nice and attentive. Place is well organized and clean. Our daughters had a wonderful time.

Wanted to surprise grandson and family on his 9th birthday a few days ago and spend the afternoon at Scandia. We got a surprise alright - the place is under MAJOR reconstruction. When we drove up, we thought it was closed - and it should have been. No where on their website was any of this mentioned. Sort of bait and switch situation. It needs to be updated because the place is really rundown. One golf course remains open and it is in terrible shape with signs gone, tee off boxes worn or missing. We played anyway because we drove so far to get there. Most rides were closed. Employees were less than enthusiastic. Don't blame them actually. We were so disappointed.

The girl whose the "Manager" was rude as hell. She wasn't pleasant when I had asked for my refund with their vending machine. Told her what had happened then she had asked if I put the money if which for one it's obvious yess because I had just explained it to her. Was.with clients they had brought there lunch also we had bought well over 100 dollars in mini golf and a full pizza. Then when I had said we are leaving due to my clients bringing their own lunches she had said or are we going to have a problem. Which in my opinion that comment wasn't needed at all. Won't be taking My clients or our company business there at all. Not even my family so thank youu for a not so great evening not to mention it was 11 almost 12 games didn't work food service was all shut down Epic is wayy better.

We took our son there and they kicked him out for being overweight. also I saw someone who was mentally challenged trying to ajest himself and they kicked him out. This comes from the manager breea she said it policy that if they are overweight or mentally challenged they are asked to leave

This is a very fun place for the kids and people who like to play arcade, games, miniature golf, and go on fun rides. There is only one thing I can suggest for this place. Comfortable benches with a back to lean against for the grandparents to sit on and watch the children.

The boys I babysit love coming here! I have to say, compared to the types of places like this I went to growing up, it's got a lot more to offer. From the drop zone and water ride, to the arcade games, mini golf, and batting cages, this place really does have it all. They even have bumper and race cars! The staff are overall friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the place is pretty good overall as well. As for any place like this, it can get pretty pricy, but worth it for a day of fun.

We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon and there were plenty of people playing mini-golf, but no one at the batting cages, bumper boats, or drop tower. We weren't even sure if we could use those if we wanted to. The mini-golf is 18 holes and two separate courses. Check out them both in case you have a preference or one is busier than the other. Prices are fair and we had a fun time putting our way through the course. None of them were so difficult or frustrating that we wanted to just skip it. All of the motorized courses were functioning. The inside arcade area had doors open to allow fresh air, but there were definitely people playing games with masks off, which was disconcerting as you have to walk through the arcade area to get to the mini-golf courses. Go Karts were fun - they give you 5 minutes on the course. We were the only ones racing around, so that was fun. We'd come back!

I was so very impressed with all the young employees today, especially considering that they are experiencing a staffing shortage. Very well ran, organized and clean. I saw a young man constantly circulating through the arcade as he diligently cleaned every surface he could find. Most of the employees are teenagers and they deserve a shoutout for showing that they care about their job. Everyone was helpful, kind, and very polite. Great job guys! Keep up the good work :)

On a visit to the area and we were looking for an environment where everyone could get out and enjoy the afternoon. Opting for miniature golf, our hour or so of leisurely walking and chasing that little colored ball down the well worn green carpet began. First this place needs paint and maintenance. The course itself is long overdue for a facelift too. Deteriorating trim and the sun bleached paint definitely showed it's age on the bright blue skied fall afternoon of my visit. The course is easy enough for all ages, but it's poorly laid out and backs up if any party lags to much on any given hole. No staff that I could see on the course grounds to monitor the flow either. At one point there were five families waiting because of the backup at the same hole. This could be a really fun and challenging course with some new hole designs and a serious winter facelift but as it is now, it's a below average place to take the family for mini golf. Unless your kids are really young and they don't notice how run down the place feels. Mine did, and at $9 a player a let down. Be forewarned, you must enter the arcade to purchase and access the golf course and batting cages. It's a complete sensory overload when you walk in if you're not prepared for it. Loud, noisy and flashing lights everywhere. I guess if you're into arcade games, and being immersed in that environment. But the mini golf not so much. Would not most likely return and as such cannot recommend. 2.5 Stars - disappointing. 00513

We stopped by here on a whim to entertain the kids. Go kart racing was fun--my daughter was too young to drive so I drove for her. The kids liked the arcade. I did not like how it was unclear how to pay for everything. Some things are paid for on the self-service kiosk (which was not very intuitive) but other things, like mini golf, are paid for at the counter. Mini golf seemed pretty well maintained. Overall a decent value for what we got.

Came here today on my birthday weekend to play miniature golf with Joel and Ronda. Not only did I win, but I got a hole-in-one on the 18th hole and won a free game

My youngest son who was 5 at the time & his sister who was 6 were the only kids on the Spin Zone ride. All of a sudden my son is moaning "ouch, I got hurt" & had his hand on his head. My daughter is balling her eyes out. The vinyl sun shade detached from the pole with the metal mechanism still attached & swung downward hitting him in the head. The young employee was not attentive, I had to scream at him that my son was hurt, to let me in & to get emergency first aide. They all were so slow, very evident that this place doesn't train their employees for emergencies let alone have a safety/first aid protocol. My son was blank, didn't cry, had no emotions & wasn't comprehending. I took him to the ER & he was diagnosed w/ a severe concussion. He was put on watch and had to miss weeks of school at the end of the school year (which is one of the most important times). I was forced to stay home w/ him missing work to monitor him 24hrs, it was a sleepless time for me. It's absolutely heart breaking for a mom to see her thriving 5 year old all of sudden lose his personality or his independence, he didn't even know what a sweater was & how to put it ON! Needless to say we incurred expenses all due to this places neglect of their equipment. Proper maintenance, insuring bolts are tight & yearly inspections keeps the public safe. My son's end of school testing was poor, he was failing on the things he had tested strong on prior to this incident. We had doctors visits, had to hire a tutor for the summer to get him back to the level he was at and etc. This happened in 2017, I have called management with no return call, I have mailed correspondences with no response, this place will not communicate with me about our damages. Their lack of response will not stop me though, if it means I have to get our local news involved I will get an answer from them. Also, as we were walking out I noticed that the employee put the sun shade back up and had the ride open again. WHAT?!?!? Shows the carelessness they have for the safety of the public. Both my son & daughter who witnessed the entire thing have PTSD to this day. I can't even drive by Scandia now they end up freaking out, crying & talk about the horrific day as if it was yesterday.

Allen, Geraldo and Michael deserve a raise they are so awesome, devoted, and selfless they went out of their way to help us find a lost item and I would have been heartbroken leaving without it. They made my night. GIVE THEM A RAISE RIGHT NOW! Such great customer service do recommend this scandia

The mini golf was marginally fun for kids. Dirty and not many fun holes that have props.

Let me start off by saying that Chris, the manager of the Rohnert Park, Scandia, did an awesome job helping us with our game card confusion. We bought 3, 2hour unlimited arcade and ride cards and some had issues with having zero credits minutes into purchasing the cards. Chris went above and beyond to help us straighten the card issues and made the whole experience great! Thank you Chris! Scandia had a great mix of interactive games including the rides (bumper, blaster boats, racing cars, batting cages, miniature golf and a new drop ride) Great mix of old school and new school fun!

There's no better place for kids to let off some steam during a family vacation! The kids excitedly arrived around 10:30 to take part in the unlimited video games and rides (10-12pm). The only caveat for video games is that they don't issue tickets for prizes, which was fine. They have a great assortment of video games and 3-4 outside activities (go karts, water boats, air bumper cars, batting cages, and even mini golf! The kids were delighted with everything and if the kids are happy, the parents are, too.

I blustered into it, similar to a couple of months prior. Me and my family very much appreciated , they have incredible communication skill and they are Highly recommended. Its my pleasure. Thanks a lot.

If you like mini golf (and I do) this is probably the best course in the Bay Area. Sure there are places in the city where you can drink and putt, but they are cramped and focus too much on being showy rather than having a fun course. This place has great construction and a fairly good variation of types of holes. There's also two full courses. I haven't eaten here or played the arcade or done anything other than putt putt. For "adults" out there a fun day is to hit up Russian River Brewery for a pizza and a couple brews and then hit some balls at Scandia.

2 years ago our house burned down. We had just got one of their giant stuffed robots a few months previously and had a Scandia card with about 100k tickets on it. Lost both in the fire. My son was super bummed. When we talked to Scandia about it they gave him a 20 gift card. Glad to know we are suck valued customers.

I'm Gwen's child it's amazing it's rides are amazing I just wish there could be more. The miniature golf is really fun and the arcade is cool I would recommend to any body also the food is pretty good

Fun family fun for the whole family- miniature golf to an arcade to go karts! The arcade is the biggest hit- so be prepared that your kids may want to do that as well, and you need to walk through the arcade to get to miniature golfing- so there is no avoiding it.
