I'm from San Antonio, my friend brought me here for Italian food and it's a phenomenal 💎 gem. Our bartender Stephen was amazing very knowledgeable about food recommendations. We started with the eggplant tower is was so delicious and plenty of food for 2. We did the meatballs with fra Diablo sauce....sooo good and delicious. We finished with gorgonzola gnocchi very good and the Veal Marsala and risotto over the top. Great portions too Thank you Stephen for the great service. I will be back soon.

We felt truly fortunate to stumble upon this restaurant for dinner. Though it’s not a large place, it more than makes up for it with incredible flavors. The dishes are wonderfully authentic, prepared with care, and bursting with taste. A hidden gem that proves size doesn’t matter when the food is this amazing.

Scannicchio’s is one of those places that just hits every time. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with music, lights, and that perfect mix of classic dining and bar energy. The layout is such a vibe — whether I’m here to catch a game on the big screens or enjoy a cozy dinner, it always feels right. Every single dish I’ve ordered has been absolutely delicious — savory, flavorful, and served hot every time. The service is super friendly and prompt, which makes the whole experience even better. What I love most is the versatility — if I’m looking for something more relaxed or family-oriented, their other restaurant just next door gives that perfect dinner-with-parents vibe. Brunch here is great, but dinner is when the place really lights up. In Atlantic City, Scannicchio’s truly livens up my life — I want everyone to experience the same joy I feel every time I come here.

Have been to Moments @ Scannacchios multiple times now, always a good meal! The staff are always kind & you're sure to find the perfect martini. Meesh is always so professional & willing to answer all questions with a smile on her face. :) It has become a staple as one of my favorite AC restaurants.

Scannicchio’s in Atlantic City was an absolute standout! There were six of us at the bar, sharing appetizers and enjoying drinks, and the entire experience felt effortless and fun. The atmosphere truly brings back that old-school Italian charm—warm, welcoming, and full of character. The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The appetizers were spot-on, and when our entrees came out, the portions were generous and very reasonably priced, which is always a win. Everything was delicious and clearly made with care. What really made the night exceptional was Michelle, who was both our bartender and server. She handled all six of us seamlessly, was attentive without hovering, and gave great recommendations. Her friendly personality and positive energy made us feel like regulars and elevated the entire experience. If you’re in Atlantic City and looking for great food, fair prices, a lively bar experience, and classic charm, Scannicchio’s is a must. And if Michelle is behind the bar, you’re guaranteed a great night. We’ll definitely be back! 🍝🍷

The food was good. Staff friendly & attentive. The woman singer A. Brunette was fabulous. Will be making this a regular stop when in A.C.

We had the best time sitting at the bar with Wendy! The food was so delicious. My friend got the pork chop and I had the chicken bianco. We loved it all and everyone was so nice!

This was an amazing cozy place to eat. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! We had the chicken parm with penne ala vodka, mozzarella sticks & clams casino. Will be back here next time I visit Atlantic City!

Truly a great Italian in AC there are better ranked but not as friendly, food as good as it gets better than Angelo's, chef Vola and any casino, no bull waiting lists not returned calls. The food is old world Italian at the highest level extremely reasonable. I should go and thank me later

Food and service absolutely horrible. Not sure who is leaving these great reviews. Fried ravioli was basically frozen ravioli fried to long. Very hard. My chicken dish had zero flavor. I've had better Italian at olive garden . Really wanted to like this place but a huge no

Very solid Italian seafood bistro in AC. Had seafood heavy meal; snails (good), clams mussels in red sauce (best item), clams casino (ok) then linguini with white clam sauce (very good). Tiny place, with tables surrounding a bar. Can see it getting busy. Ordered a Muscato which was good. The broccoli rabe was too salty, had to send it back. Would come again, street parking in lovely AC.

Are you tired of being met with attitudes when trying to make reservations at two other "iconic" Italian Atlantic City restaurants that shall remain nameless? Well, we are. And now, we give those two restaurants the proverbial middle finger because Moments at Scannicchio's is our new favorite! This is a small bar/Italian restaurant with contagious energy buzzing throughout. This place makes you feel good the minute you enter. It reminds me of old school Italian establishments in North Jersey (Hoboken, namely). The sights and smells are like a warm hug! The Clams Casino and the Sausage Broccoli Rabe are our go-to starters. The Crab Pasta (angel hair) with red gravy is absolutely delicious. The vodka sauce is a must-try as well. We normally dine here with a group, and our servers never skip a beat. The live entertainment on the weekends is enjoyable without being too loud. You can hold a conversation with your fellow diners with ease. We love the blend of old school favorites and modern songs. Ample wine options and lots of creative martinis. There is truly something for everyone here! And the prices are very reasonable. Reservations are a must, but you can always dine at the bar. Bon appetite!

Changed owners since leftys, but the food and prices have not changed a bit!! One of our favorite little restaurants, reminds me of south Philly. Owners plan to expand too!!

You want old school New Jersey Italian? This is your place. Intimate bar setting. Pictures of singers on the exposed brick walls. Red sauce. Veal. Clams. White tablecloths but casual. Inexpensive wines by the glass... The whole works.

This place was recommended, so we tried it out. Food was really good and decent portions. Tasty! Service was great and it is a hole in the wall little Italian place. Will def be back! It's small so def might need reservations during the week but def on weekends.

What a wonderful spot! Loved the bartender table service! Delicious cocktails. Appetizers...clams casino- fresh and crispy! Piccata dishes were generous. Chick parm huge... pastas fresh and gravy was perfect! Tight seating! A must go

Absolutely excellent! Tried the stuffed artichoke, scallops wrapped in bacon and chicken saltimbocca--- best food I've had in a long time. The staff and chef were all amazing. Wendy's sangria was lights out too. Definitely worth the trip!

First time at this restaurant that was highly recommended. Overall, I give it a 1. Food was basic Italian, some dishes in small portions that are very overpriced. The staff was pleasant and tried. But the space is tight- it's like have dinner in a subway car with other diners constantly banging into you. Add to it live music that is deafening, and forget any conversation with your party. Try the outside tables if that is a problem for you as well. There are two bills at the end - one for liquor and one for food, which is just strange. They get good ratings online, so maybe this was an off night for the food; but the space issues don't change.

Took a shot and chose a place off Yelp and was not disappointed. Special veal Diablo and veal saltimbocca with a nice house Chianti. Small but cozy and staff beyond friendly and attentive. Looks like they are expanding and changing the name. Wish them the best!

Went there for my new son-in-law's birthday. Everything was lovely. The food was fantastic. Yes, I would definitely go there next time we go out.

Food and service was very good but seating is a little tight. Could also be very noisy on nights with entertainment.

It was ok... my husband had the penne vodka which he gets everywhere. He ate most and said it was decent. I got the filet. It was over cooked and tasted old. Not good!! It came with a side of pasta and the sauce was so sweet, it tasted like dessert. The service was good, but we won't go back.

Wowowow. We did not realize how much of a treat we were in for when we made reservations for dinner. Every dish that came out was full of flavor and delicious, starting from the apps to all the meat and pastas and dessert. This must be the best Italian restaurant we've ever been to. Amazing!

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Stopped here on our visit to AC last month. This will be my husband and I only place to eat when in town. You will not be disappointed!

The Philly version of this restaurant I always enjoy. The AC version was a bit underwhelming. It's a small joint with kind of a Philly feel and service was fine but to me the food doesn't stand up to the Philly establishment. I ordered the veal saltimbocca. The veal was paper thin so needless to say there just wasn't enough and the sauce was ok but there was too much of it and the pasta was in the same sauce on the same dish. Instead of getting a side of pasta with red sauce which is what I thought it would be. Not blaming them for that if that's how they do it but eating that brown sauce the whole way through with pasta instead of breaking it up with a side of pasta became a bit too redundant for me. I have ordered that veal dish in many many a restaurant in my day and it just wasn't quite up to par. I will say it's affordable and I probably should go back and try something else one day but for authentic Italian there are some better choices in the area.

It's a small place in a small bar. So, it's crowded and a little loud. But it's the perfect place away from the casinos and franchise restaurants. Eat local. The Seven Fish pasta was awesome. All fresh. Large serving. Perfectly seasoned. Grab an inexpensive bottle of red wine from their list and kick back and relax and enjoy!

Ate there for the first time 2 weeks ago. Food was great so was the service. Only one problem we sat in a corner and the bar was against my son's back. It was real tight.

This place was Great! Had the Seafood Alla Scannicchio, their 7 fish dinner. Perfection!!

Went for a nice dinner on a recent work trip. Food was delicious, Vitello, Rapini and pastas were all very authentic, and the service was perfect. Can't beat the atmosphere as well. Will return on my future trips.

Aside from the judgy waitresses, the food is OKAY for Italian in AC. My food came out cold and had to send it back twice. Even my tea was cold. They also added drinks on my bill that I never ordered. The place itself is very small and not good for large groups. To sum it up, it felt like a sports bar trying to be a fancy restaurant. Would not come again anytime soon. Disappointed to say the least.....

Clean, beautiful scene over the ocean. Very bright and food was quick and good. Parking is tough, not many spots.

Great food and great atmosphere. Not a big restaurants so you feel connected to everything in there. Love the brick walls and touch. The food was fantastic. Our group of 10 had no complaints about the food and the waitress was awesome!

Quite little place for good food. Ambience is old world Italian. Pasta's are good. Fish is always fresh.

My husband and i dined here for the first time on 12/08 The place is small but cozy We loved the old school feel and the Sinatra music playing overhead We met the new owners who were more then nice , extremely accommodating Our server was amazing and the food was just as good one thing i would suggest is for them to expand the wine selection other then that this place is awesome and we will be back for sure

This place has new owners and new name. Memories at Scannichios. Food was very good. Music was great a mix of oldies, South Philly Sound. I had the Flounder Parm it was great, came with pasta. I want to go back. The happy hour menu is nicely priced. We had a great serve who was really nice and friendly. They will be expanding in the near future. Good new spot in Atlantic City. There is plenty of street parking and a park lot down the street.

not fancy but best meal i've had in a long time. shrimp far diabolo was amazing . pasta could have been a little more al dente but forgiven as the dish was steaming hot !! bread was warm and good. prices reasonable. staff super nice !! i think my waitress was cynthia. great meal ! great experience !!

Not the best experience. We arrived as soon as the opened for dinner. There wasn't a single customer and they begrudgingly gave us a table in the back for two. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was pricey and very small. Food was ok. We ordered a meal with shrimp and scallops but only received shrimp. The waitress said it was a new computerized ordering system and she input the order wrong but we can purchase a side of scallops. Huh? Apologetic but no attempt to make it right.

The restaurant is in the bar so the tables at extremely tight. You will get 2 bills at the end one for food and one for liquor seems tacky. Food was ok depends on what you get chicken parm was meh fra Diablo was good but not good enough for me to go back.

It's exactly what you want it to be! Old school Italian in a bar that's a separate entity, odd but it works. All apps were really good. Rolled with the Chicken parm dinner. It was good but chicken was a bit overdone. Was with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal and I would be Reiss if I didn't say the service was also exactly like you'd think. Friendly, informative and so far from stuffy. This is a good neighborhood joint!
