Scarlet

I have loved shopping here since it first opened in another shopping center oh so many years ago. My daughters love everything in the store; some of it is too young for me but I often walk out with a classic piece (black sweater or cool boots) and wear those pieces forever.

Scarlet is my all time favorite boutique in all of Arkansas. I’ve been shopping here for a decade, and every season they receive the best styles and have helped empower me as a woman for many years! the girls who work here are so sweet, and so open to helping you find what you’re looking for. i highly recommend shopping here :)

I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. From the advice I’ve been give for special events, to actually knowing what I like, and keeping up with it. A+. It’s now fun 🤩 to share the shopping at scarlet with my daughters. My Christmas was pretty awesome this year, as they gave my husband some great guidelines. I have shopped here off and on since the store opened years ago and although I live out of state, I will occasionally stop in when I’m home for the holidays or a family visit. All of the negative reviews are correct and it saddens me that this is the way people are made to feel when shopping here. From the perspective of a wardrobe stylist, they have a few great brands in store, however the pieces they select and how they style them almost make the higher end brand look like any other wholesale southern boutique item. Which I’m sure does cause confusion as to why you are paying so much for an ordinary tank top. At the end of the day, this is a clothing boutique in the south and it’s obviously not the same clothing stores I shop at in LA. If you are looking for chic, or trendy high end clothing, you can find it but disregard how anything is styled by the staff here. I hate that they have such a bad reputation because this is my hometown and I would love to recommend them or support them, but they have typical mean girl attitudes, including the owners and buyer for the store.

DO NOT come in this store if you are black or a person of color!!! Came in on a slow Saturday with my mom and stopped here after doing some shopping at Belk and decided to stop in for my first time. The store was dead with just two other customers in the store, yet for some reason the customers couldn’t open their mouth to greet us. I work at a small boutique myself in Little Rock and know how important it is to greet EVERYBODY. You would think a small boutique with workers doing nothing but sitting at the front desk could greet us, but no. I’m not sure whether it’s because we didn’t match their description of who should be shopping there (two black women) or they just have no customer service training. But it’s clear they have horrible training and are in dire need of diversity training.

Boutique clothes that no one else in LR seems to carry. Great accessories. I found the staff to be extremely helpful. Perfect place to grab a gift for someone special. This place has always got something great in the window to make you stop & check it out!!

I had such a nice experience shopping online at this store. The customer service was above and beyond. They were so helpful and responsive. Very happy customer. I will definitely continue to shop here!

Great place to shop. Went in to find something for my wife, gave them a budget and they took care of the rest. Very easy to work with, highly recommended.

Insanely expensive. As in a blouse costs $400. I never have good customer service- I am afraid this may be a store where you are judged on your appearance, and that determines if you get helped or not

Looking for birthday gifts for my wife with the kids earlier this week. We went in Scarlet and the staff could not have been less interested in our business. We walked in and and were completely ignored by everyone we passed. My son pointed out something he thought she would like. We all agreed but my daughter (16) looked up and said "They are too rude. Why would we buy anything here?" My son quickly agreed and made a snide remark about the prices in general. With that, we left without hearing a "thanks for coming in" or "have a good day." If being ignored and treated rudely while shopping for overpriced items is your thing, this is your place. I don't mind spending the money. I do expect to be treated courteously.

I recently ordered an item online and paid through amazon pay. A few days later, I get an email from Amazon that I was getting a refund from this store. Apparently they canceled my order without even notifying me which is pretty unprofessional and doesn't make for a good business model. Customer service, especially now with small businesses suffering, are crucial for long term survival.

I always try to give this store a second chance, since I'd like to shop local and help out small business owners. Each time I'm reminded why I dislike this store. They have a decent selection, some good quality clothes mixed in with the cheap trendy stuff, albeit with a large markup. Once, I even scored an amazing cashmere sweater at a fraction of the price. However, every time I come in, I'm ignored by the snobby staff, who sit at the front and gossip instead of helping customers. I'd much rather spend my money at a store that isn't like walking back into high school all over again.

I always try to give this store another chance, since they are local and can have some cute items. But the last time I went in there, I was appalled by how I was treated. First, I walked in and was not greeted, but instead told that "Just so you know, we close in ten minutes." ....Ok. So I made it hasty and actually found a cute dress that was on sale. When I went to check out, the same woman said "Did you try this on? It might fit you weird." I'm almost positive that the woman who spoke to me this way is the owner, which is actually a direct reflection of how the rest of the employees treat their customers. I just hope that they are decent to some of their customers, because I genuinely do not know how a store who treats people that way can stay in business.

Ordered online & was very pleased with the fast shipping! Really happy with the cape a lot better quality than I expected. And a thoughtful handwritten note how cute! Would order from them again & recommend to friends!
