"Not many places actually have a breathtaking view of the ocean, but the outpost of this popular Italian spot within the legendary Gurney’s resort takes full advantage of its perch, with floor to ceiling glass windows and an outdoor terrace. Start with crudo like diver scallop with pea puree, preserved truffle, and lemon; or the signature spaghetti with tomato and basil before moving on to striped bass caught hours earlier." - Beth Landman

Scarpetta is a fantastic choice that you won’t regret. The ambiance is lovely, especially if you opt for a table outside by the water, where the views enhance the dining experience. The food is reliably good, embodying classic flavors, and the service is exceptional. If you’re in the mood for delightful cuisine, Scarpetta is definitely the spot to visit. Overall, Scarpetta offers a charming setting and dependable dishes, making it a great go-to dining. It’s a place you’ll want to return to!

Our dinner at Scarpetta Beach in Gurney’s Montauk was nothing short of spectacular! We were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us immediately, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The restaurant offers stunning sunset views, with waves crashing against the shore, creating the most romantic ambiance. For dinner, we enjoyed the pappardelle pasta, which was homemade and gluten-free, paired perfectly with the Palermo Old Fashioned cocktail. The short rib pasta was equally delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. The combination of incredible food, amazing drinks, and the breathtaking setting made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special, intimate dining experience in Montauk.

Overall my experience was decent. Our reservation was for 6:30 but we didn't get seated until 6:45 or so. The appetizer was ok a butternut squash buratta. But the hand made spaghetti was good & it has a kick to it in the sauce. I just wish there was more of that sauce in my dish it felt like not enough. The dessert was good. I'll be back! But for now 4/5

This was a winner of a meal during our stay at Gurney’s. Amazing beach views, attentive service, and the food was phenomenal. Thank you to the Scarpetta team as well for making us feel loved while on our honeymoon. Highly recommend for Gurney’s guests, and if you’re in Montauk in general.

Google
Scarpetta is a restaurant within Gurney’s Montauk Resort with a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean. If you want a prime sea view I suggest requesting an outdoor table! The staff is great and made this a great visit. I had heard the pasta dishes were one of the chefs specialties and the pappardelle did not disappoint. The braised lamb was tender and packed with flavor which complimented the pasta perfectly. The yellowtail may have been one of my favorite yellowtail dishes that I have had. The coarse sea salt added a little crunch and a lot of flavor to the pieces of yellowtail. The seared scallops were delicious and came with two scallops. I could have eaten 20 of these with how delicious they were.

As hotel guests did not expect such a great menu and compelling fare! Fantastic bread course and unexpected componata! Grilled octopus amazing. Beet salad perfect. Great view and very nice staff. Lovely all around.

Google
Excellent dishes that somehow manage to upstage the gorgeous oceanfront setting. My scallops were perfectly cooked, and the lobster pasta was excellent. Be prepared—they don’t skimp on the portions here. We ate on the outdoor, covered deck and enjoyed a gorgeous panoramic view of the ocean along with our meal. Skip dessert—the choices are nothing special.

Very beautiful decor and ambiance matched with fairly good service. Unfortunately, the quality of food left a lot to be desired. Is this what Wall Street folks really waste their money on just to be seen? Fish was over-salted, dessert had poor presentation. Perhaps our fave was the creamy polenta. Was not worth $350

Yelp
Ok, let's get the issues out of the way. This place is pretentious, the hosts are a bit officious, and it's a bit of a scene. The service is never quite perfect. This said, I have never had a meal that was less than delicious and convivial here. Most recently, my (adult) daughter and I had a mid-week reservation at the peak of insane Hamptons August. We arrived on time and were told there would be a wait for an outdoor table. We were in no rush so we went to the outdoor lounge for a cocktail. After waiting a few minutes we were able to score a divan and placed an order. There were only two of us in a space meant for a bigger group and a few minutes later a very friendly woman asked if her group could join us as they were trying to escape a cigar smoker sitting next to them (is this even legal?). Nice people, they even offered to buy us a round. It's nice to see people obviously having fun...and thats what this place is about, fun & beautiful views, not perfection. The table was ready in about 20 minutes and the whole lounge experience only made the evening more entertaining. We got a beautiful table with a water view and our server was with us in a moment. The local fluke crudo was delicious, as was my pasta, my daughter's fish, and the Brussels sprouts side. There were a few service mishaps that seemed like kitchen timing issues, but our server was so friendly and apologetic that it was more funny than annoying. Overall a great evening. I recommend this place so long as you know what you are getting in to. If you are expecting to be seated immediately and flawless service this might not be for you.

Yelp
Okay, we were really looking forward to spending our Thanksgiving at Scarpetta Beach, but what a disappointment it was. First off, there were children everywhere. I wouldn't normally have a problem with that, except we were actually surrounded. Maybe seat the families in one part of the restaurant, so five year olds don't end up crawling on my coat next time? Speaking of, there is mandatory valet parking, but no coat check. We were asked to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time. We ordered drinks at the bar. When the hostess finally came over to seat us, she asked us to carry our martinis to the table. That was odd. And then, the food. I kid you not that everything was lukewarm. The best part of our meal was the bread. The lobster in the bisque amouse bouche was hard... the steak was tough, chewy, unseasoned except for pats of equally flavorless butter. The green beans tasted like they were either recently defrosted or sitting out all day. The special leek pasta ravioli tasted like ass. I'm not even kidding, grocery store tortellini is better, and by a long shot. My husband, remarking on the meal: "where are we, in an airport?" On top of that, the food was slow to come out, our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed at best and clueless at worst. Favorite moment was when we needed to explain that a martini should come with vermouth. All this for 500$ and to be surrounded by screaming children?? Walked out of the Gurney's lobby to wait for the lovely valet and found ourselves in the middle of a gaggle of drunk and screaming teenagers. We were laughing hysterically by the end of the night, it had turned into such a joke. No thanks and never again!!!

Yelp
Recently went here with a decent size group. (7 people) It was pretty terrible. Since we were a larger group we opted for the pre-fixed menu. The portions of this options could have fed a child, not enough for the amount of people. The braised short rib had 3 slices and they gave us two plates - that's not enough for each person in our party to try. It was $180.00 p/p - HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Gurneys is totally overrated and people just hear the name and think it will be great.

Yelp
My favorite spot out here! The staff here are super nice. Vova took care of us. I would give him a perfect score for service. 10/10 The espresso martinis here are really good. The drink is pretty strong but it hits the spot. The halibut was very tasty. 10/10 The cauliflower was incredible. One of my favorite sides by far. The ambiance here is magical. I would highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I just had dinner at Scarpetta Edwin was our waiter and he put up with us moving our table from outside to inside the restaurant. Food was fantastic and service excellent. Than we also had a people watching show. So many people at the bar. It's was a show watching them. People watching and the clothing outfits they all wore. Dinner and a show. lol.

Matt G.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in the lobby at the famous gerneys resort and I definitely wanted to like this place more. I mean, the food was decent, and the service was good, but overall, it was not great for the price. For dinner, I got the blackened cod, which was rather tasty and cooked well. Portion size was a little small, but overall, I'd recommend it. My wife got a pasta dish, which was nicely homemade. However, it was also on the smaller side, especially for pasta. The atmosphere was nice. The outdoor area was very nice and had a bunch of igloos and outdoor firepits.

Lynn Y.

Yelp
The food here was excellent. We came with a large party (10 adults, two children, and two babies) but they were able to seat us same days. The staff was very attentive, and very friendly (our server noticed that I was eyeing the octopus and brought us the appetizer on the house ). I had the short rib and bone marrow agnolotti, and my wife had the branzino- both delicious. I wish I had pics, but between the hustle and bustle, i wasn't able to take any. First rate restaurant in an absolutely gorgeous setting.

Tunaidi A.

Yelp
Scarpetta Beach is a tad pricey, similar to almost everything in Montauk. However, the pastas are pretty solid and service was good.

Yelp
If you're looking for a restaurant to facilitate a romantic dinner date, Scarletta Beach checks all the right boxes! To begin with, the location is awesome; the restaurant overlooks a lovely beach. The atmosphere is very well suited to a romantic tete-a-tete, the service is 1st tier, and the food is nothing short of exceptional :-) Tip: If you're a fan of well-crafted cocktails, I highly recommend their hibiscus margarita We shared our dinner family style; each of the dishes we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The yellowtail crudi was sophisticated and delicately flavored, and the halibut was tasty and tender. We also both very much enjoyed the cod, but it seemed to be a bit too salty for my taste. We throughly enjoyed the entire dining experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to either return or to recommend this venue very highly!

Yelp
What a fantastic restaurant with great ambiance, food, and service. If you're staying at Gurney's, you must have dinner here. It's just complements the romantic weekend. I highly suggest starting with the Scallops appertizer and the Lobster Tagliolini. These were my favorites, although everything we had was delicious. My only disappointment is not being able to try some of the other pasta dishes.

Erica D.

Yelp
Our wait staff was excellent. Beautiful view outside on the patio. A lot of influencers, but overall recommend for a special night out! Short rib and bone marrow agnolotti with horseradish sauce and garlic chips was decatent, not too rich, and delicious. Highly recommend. Also enjoyed the fluke crudo and octopus appetizers to share!

Lisette M.

Yelp
I've been ordering the spaghetti from Scarpetta beach for years and it has always been one of my favorite dishes. The last few times the spaghetti has been presented messy and way overcooked, and for almost $40 Iexpect more. I'm disappointed because I used to love this spaghetti and look forward to my trip to Scarletta beach Montauk. I really hope it improves.

Hyunmee C.

Yelp
Very pricey; only real dine in dinner restaurant option if you are staying overnight at Gurneys. 2 scallops for $30 and 1 large tentacle grilled octopus for $30.....only thing to note was it's very pretty inside with a dull elegant decor and ocean back drop. The cauliflower and the desserts are the only things I would recommend. The tagliatelle was good but too salty; the black cod was just ok. The branzino was good. The grape escape cocktail is good but $21. But service is amazing - they pace you slow and are very courteous.

Julie M.

Yelp
Went to Scarpetta for a special night out and while the food was top tier, the service was vastly disappointing, especially for the cost of the meal. After taking our orders, our waiter never returned until we had both finished our meals. I had finished my cocktail and then both of our water glasses and the empty glasses sat on the table for what felt like ages. I had nothing to drink with my meal and our server was nowhere to be found. Groups of other servers were clustered together chatting in the corners, but no one had their eyes on our table - or any, to be able to flag someone down. When our waiter returned, it was after someone else had cleared our dishes and only then was I able to order something else to drink. Understood that this isn't a make or break issue, but at the price of this meal and the fact that we were visiting for a special celebration, it's very disappointing not to be attended to during the meal. Food was delicious, but the experience was definitely marred by the complete lack of service.

Yelp
We enjoyed an amazing evening at Scarlett's Beach recently. The property has had a multi million dollar update and it really shows. we had drinks outside by the fire to start then were seated outdoors for a lovely dinner. The indoor dining room is gorgeous with amazing lighting fixtures and views and is somewhat preferred to the outdoor by my group depending on the weather and views. We started with some very nice cocktails then moved on to some crude appetizers then pasta for the main course. we also had the octopus small plate and although it was a small portion of the actual octopus it was very good overall. the desserts were also wonderful. HIghly recommend for a nice night out. People were dressed nicely and it is a good spot for people watching.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Where do I begin? This restaurant is continuously consistent and makes every trip to Montauk complete! Our service was exceptional and the wait staff was at the ready to make sure glasses were always filled and courses arrive timely. The ambience is fantastic, overlooking the ocean. Noise level moderate but not so loud that you couldn't hear your own conversations. Top notch and a favorite!

Susan D.

Yelp
The food and views were incredible but the service and attention to detail was lacking. We hadn't finished our appetizers when our entrees arrived even after the server said they would be coursed out. This led to the entrees getting cold which was disappointing. We had to chase our server down multiple times to get drinks, plates, etc. It truly felt like we could have walked out and he wouldn't have noticed. For what we paid, I would have expected better.

Marianne P.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants on Long Island. Located in Gurneys, Montauk. The food, service and ambiance is perfect. I had a lobster pasta dish that was probably the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. I also recommend their chicory salad, Bronzino, and short ribs Pricey, but well worth it.

Alexis T.

Yelp
Excellent all the way around. Cocktails were superb. Flavors and textures of dinner were amazing. Bar staff were fantastic. I highly recommend an evening at Scarpetta Beach.

Michael F.

Yelp
Food was as usual good , waiter was inattentive and misusing most of the night . Lots of empty tables all night . Not someplace the warrants repeat visits .

Ellen V.

Yelp
Solo dining experience and a lovely seat. Made a meal out of three delicious appetizers - Cauliflower, Burrata and Polenta. Service was professional but friendly and they quickly fixed one issue with one of the dishes.

Raymond S.

Yelp
Was here last year and food and service was better. This year is Really not worth the price and wait. besides the ocean view that's about it, quality of food was bad, both fish and pasta is just not good anymore.

Jenna R.

Yelp
I cannot recommend Scarpetta Beach enough. A friend knew we were heading to Montauk for the weekend and said it was a must-try. I was iffy at first because we can go to Scarpetta in Manhattan but boy was I happy we made the reservation. To start, the view is spectacular on the water of the infamous Gurney's Hotel. My husband and I started with drinks - il bandito and an old fashioned. Il Bandito reminded me of a spicy and smoky margarita. To start we ordered the burrata, yellow tail, and roasted cauliflower. To my surprise, the cauliflower was my favorite. The sauce it was sautéed in was ... to die for. Both nonetheless, all 3 dishes were delicious. As our main meals, I had the traditional spaghetti and my husband had the veal tenderloin. I will be back just for this spaghetti. As the evening progressed we saw many tables ordering the spaghetti as a starter and were jealous we had not thought of that because there were other entrees I had my eye on as well. Overall, the evening was perfect. The staff was welcoming and attentive. It was a perfect date night and the start of our weekend away. We cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Ahmazing!!!! It's like your normal scarpetta meets a very elegant beach/ beach hotel. The vibes here are everything!! With Scarpetta food to match. Came here last week during my Montauk/ East Hampton stay! Such a nice, relaxing meal. Patio is gorgeous with individual heat lamps. But I stayed inside because it was gorgeous. Less crowded. A little cold out too. Our server was amazing! He lived in New Orleans, Florida and now Montauk. Such a fun/ cool dude. The crowd was the Hampton crowd: so much bling, snobbiness, Jersey blings! Total mix pot. Service was great. The short rib agnolotti is mind blowing! As well as their spaghetti, bread basket, black cod and then some. Bread basket is amazing!! Like AHMAZING!! I can just eat the whole thing by myself and call it a day. Beet salad was good. Scallop appetizer was Yumm! Cocktails were pretty on points too. Compared to the manhattan Scarpetta, this was almost double in prices. Hampton prices! But food is delicious regardless. We had the most amazing time catching up with family, sipping, tasting and just fun! Totally a relaxing meal. Beach might have something to do with it. Or not! Definitely not cheap but totally worth it. The dessert being the BEST part!! Love love!!!

Bettina B.

Yelp
Lets start with the positive...which is the views wow, best in town for sure. Views are immaculate and the ambiance definitely emulates the Hampton bougie-ness and gives luxury. The parking is a bit tough so highly recommend uber-ing/carpooling or valet and it took us weeks to get a reservation confirmation so definitely work on that early! We were seated right away with a party of 10 so thats great service and the server was very nice but for some reason montauk servers are not fans of birthdays and singing happy birthday with a cake so if you're traveling for a birthday, definitely keep that in mind. Now onto the food, very average is what I have to deem this place unfortunately. The pasta was sticky and the short rib didnt necessarily fall off the fork and it was mostly fat. The halibut was good but for the price tag, I expected quite a bit more especially a carb? Like a mashed potato? Each dish just felt ok considering the price tag but the real star of the show was the short rib agnolotti! That was delicious!! It had the perfectly medley of the bone marrow taste and it wasnt overwhelming at all so if you go here, definitely recommend that dish! Gurneys Lobster Pasta Short Rib Agnolotti Braised Short Ribs

Derek G.

Yelp
The food was froo froo. Smallish portions but good presentation. Scene is quite Hamptonsy. I liked it overall. Salami bread was awesome - servers were nice and drinks were alcoholic.

Wes D.

Yelp
We got there at the last seating of the rainy night. We got an indoor window seat for my cousins birthday. Out waiter was attentive and helpful with all out requests. So, a martini a hot toddy and a margarita is how we started. The grilled octopus was tender, the polenta was creamy accompanied by sautéed mushrooms and the bread basket were a great starters. Dinner was roast chicken, spaghetti and a pasta with ragu special. We finished with desserts of lemon cake and panna cotta all beautifully plated. This was a special occasion place and we enjoyed every bite of our meal. Enough to plan coming back!

Patricia D.

Yelp
It's my favorite restaurant in Montauk. The scallop appetizer is absolutely superb - so many levels to it. My husband loved the lobster and pasta dish, though a little spicey for me. The setting with the view of the ocean can not be beat. Service is excellent, and the servers are very attentive. The Flowers Chardonnay is a special treat. Tip - order 2 servings of the scallop appetizer for an entree.

Madona S.

Yelp
07 July 2023 we are here with Dr. Schmidt Hank .......................................................... definitely................................................................ ..................... coming ........................................... ..................... back

Jen P.

Yelp
Went at the start of hamptons season, memorial day weekend. It does seem like there was a lot of confusion with the staff that they were just figuring things out as service was slow for us and the tables around us. That being said, the ambience can't be beat. The ocean views and food (when they finally take your order) was amazing. The crowd is buzzing and mixed aged with both party goers (for the firepit) and families. Will be back for the ambience (hoping the service gets better with the season).

Michael L.

Yelp
Those of you who follow my reviews know i don't give out a lot of 5s. Scarpetta Beach, located in Gurney's Spa and a hotel overlooking the beach in Montauk, is one of my perennial favorite Hamptons restaurants. We went for a family birthday, 5 people, and we were given the perfect outdoor table overlooking the water. without having to ask, "Uh, is that one over there available, because this table is in the kitchen?" I ordered the hamachi appetizer, and the duck entree. both were excellent, as was the service. If i absolutely had to pick an issue, maybe the duck could have been a tad larger portion, but it was certainly fine for me. Breathtaking view, perfect weather, great food. solid 5 star night.

Michael W.

Yelp
Place is so overrated - I can't exaggerate enough to just go somewhere else out to eat while in Montauk. When I first got there, the host had trouble finding my reservation. Which a was pretty embarrassing, might I add the restaurant was empty. The food, great taste but the portion size was so small that if my girlfriend didn't give me her entree to finish I would have had to pickup food on the way home. Mind you we got two appetizers and it still wouldn't have been enough. Bartender knew how to make a drink. For 24$ a drink that should be a given Our server was standard. Bread basket kid was on point. Been to some pretty fancy restaurants to eat, this place was just trying to be that vibe. Would not bother going back.

Nicole I.

Yelp
My friends and I were staying in Montauk for her bachelorette party and wanted to have an enjoyable fine dining experience to celebrate the occasion. We were able to make reservations online in advance for a Friday night. It wasn't hard to get a reservation- but I'm not sure if that had to do with the fact it was off season. The staff who greeted us was very friendly. Our server was also kind and attentive. We ordered the burrata to share as an appetizer and also enjoyed the delicious bread basket that they provided with a variety of different breads. I ordered the short rib agnolotti as my entree and I was blown away at how delicious it was. It was tender and flavorful. I haven't had anything like it in my life. It's a shame I live so far from Montauk these days because I will be dreaming of this meal until I am able to have it again. I also enjoyed sitting outside by the fire after our dinner with a few cocktails we were able to get at the bar (even though it was freezing outside, the fire was warm and the ambiance was super cozy). I'd highly recommend Scarpetta Beach for anyone looking for a nice night out.

Mindy S.

Yelp
Came to Scarpetta Beach with a friend who had never been out east. We didn't stay at Gurney's, so this is strictly for the dining experience. The ambiance is top notch. We chose to wait an extra 20 minutes for a table to open up outside. We were seated and given menus/water. We started with burrata and cauliflower appetizer. They were both SO good! I had a the tagliatelle pasta and it was top 5 pasta dishes I've ever eaten. It was so fresh and wasn't overly sauced. I also liked that the portion sizes were not over the top - more aligned with Europe than the US. My best friend had the lobster pasta and she loved her dish too! We shared the chocolate cake. Truth be told, it was absolutely delicious, but we just couldn't finish it. I will certainly be back!

Elyka A.

Yelp
My husband and I came here with our friends for a late dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was fairly crowded and unfortunately it was a bit cold to sit outside. I'd love to come back here for brunch during the day to see the view, it was too dark to see anything sadly. We had a nice time, but the service was hit or miss - our server didn't really check in on us that often or when we were already done with something so it wasn't that useful. It also took forever to place our drink and food order at the beginning of the night, which really bothers me. That being said, the food was pretty good, so I would probably come back again in the future. The pricing was also not as bad as I thought it would be, though we had 1 bottle of wine, 2 cocktails and 3 after dinner drinks for the 4 of us, so it could've been more if we drank more. We ordered the scallops, brussel sprouts, yellow tail, branzino, wagyu striploin, lobster taglioni and gluten free pasta. Everything was very tasty, in particular the yellow tail and the wagyu. My husband had ordered a meat sauce pasta gluten free and unfortunately they only brought him a tomato sauce pasta. I think I'll come back when I can sit outside to enjoy the view.

Anant G.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with my wife. The restaurant is very pricey (we paid $80 pp excluding alcohol) for the food quality. It has a good location and you can sort of see the ocean if you're seated close to the windows. Food 2.5/5: The food isn't bad but leaves much to be desired at this price point. For appetizers we had the mushroom polenta and Burrata. The Burrata is average but the polenta was one of the better ones I've had. For entrees, I had the tagliatelle pasta (vegetarian) and my wife had the halibut. We both thought our entree was fine / average (neither particularly good or bad). Service 2/5: The service wasn't good for a pricey restaurant. While we were eating, they kept trying to rush us (brought out entree before we were finished with appetizers and tried to take my wife's entree dish away 4x before she was finished) and then when we were trying to leave / pay the check we had to flag them down.

Mel E.

Yelp
Ohhhhh my yummy!!!!!! Excellent customer service and top quality food, from start to finish! Here's a list of the people who's name I recall; they were all excellent in their own right. Scarpetta Brittany-hostess ((great greet, smile and accommodating). Andres-server (phenomenal and made great recommendations that we all went with and enjoyed). Marvin-busboy (excellent).

Amanda C.

Yelp
{Overall: 4; Food: 3.5} Atmosphere: 5; Service: 4 The best upscale spot in Montauk. Really great vibe and decor, fun food presentation, and decent pastas. The restaurant is located at Gurney's and has a view of the patio and water.

Elisabet C.

Yelp
My review is for the overall great lunch we had yesterday, the vibe, the restaurant, the food... the staff was just kind and professional. Food had no delays, our server asked if we had any allergies, wine came out on time and we were perfectly seating at the table we asked for. Those views... Everything was going just fine until around 3pm right after the kitchen closed. We start hearing an annoying voice from another female guest right in front of us complaining of the slow service. She went on and on and on about things that as far as I could have noticed, nothing she was saying was true, my mouth kind of drop down when she asked for the manager and asked to comp for their food. This is what I call "The free meal, complainer strategist". Here are a few words to the 2 ladies who got their prosecco and dessert for free. You and your friend made us feel sick and disgusted, your entitlement was of a spoiled child, you made the service staff felt so belittle, you faked your complaint, you spoke with no respect to a human person. SHAME ON YOU BOTH. I bet you know you can get free meals at Scarpetta and that's why you went there, I bet all Montauk knows about this and people just complains because they know is easy to get free stuff. I hope you enjoyed the outdoors of the restaurant where you placed all your expensive clothing shopping bags and kept having a blast with your friend sitting near the fire. I was very disappointed, I felt so disgusted to have experienced such an unfair situation. I wish one day customers like this lady get a NO from a Manager with balls, that step up for their staff, their people, their team that works hard to make a decent living. These types of guests are not customers, are "free meals complainers strategists". The restaurant should have a blacklist with all these guests names or for once say NO, not always the customer is right.

Yelp
This was the best meal we had entire trip visiting. The cacio e pepe ravioli was amazing. Olive oil cake for dessert is a must. And the cod was perfectly cooked. Not fishy at all. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Top-notch, first class decor all around. Beautiful views and excellent service! Ashlynn was our server and she was probably the best server we've had all year. She knew all the dishes, answered all our questions and was on everything the entire meal. We sat outside and the vibe was beautiful. The short rib and bone marrow was perfection. The yellowtail crudi was delicious. We would come back just for vibe and service with the food as the added bonus here. Beautiful experience. Great time and scrumptious food. We will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend it here.

Yelp
This place is stunning ! The host Luigi was super sweet and accommodating! I grabbed a drink at the bar as I waited for my table and the bartenders were very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We ordered the Yellowtail and Octopus to start and the steak and lobster for entrees. Service and attentiveness are super important, Edgar was awful. If it wasn't for what I believe were bussers refilling my water I would've been parched. Eventually I was able to flag him down and ordered 2 cocktails as I still had half a glass as I expected to not see him again... which I didn't... I ordered my food with another waiter who was extremely attentive to all of his table but I didn't catch his name. Even when it came down to ordering dessert and requesting the bill Edgar was no where to be found- this honestly made the experience memorable for all the wrong reasons. Earlier this day I had brunch at a place nearby where we tipped 50% and I felt obligated to tip 15% here as I understand certain ppl get tipped out- this was solely based on everything except* for Edgar

Yelp
This isn't an oh my gosh amazing place, but if you're staying at Gurney's and it's wintertime, this is a solid, elegant, convenient choice. The pomodoro spaghetti is good, not worth the raves on here, but the pasta with the short rib and bone marrow is insane! The pillowy pasta just explodes in your mouth. Have never had a pasta like it, and it's worth coming here just for that pasta. All the pastas are homemade which is awesome. The desserts are just eh - has the chocolate lava cake which came out lukewarm, and the espresso cream dessert. The chocolate-chip biscotti in the espresso dessert was by far the best part of dessert, but wouldn't get the others again.

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night before going to the fire pit at gurneys and had a great time. We started with pretty much every appetizer- I liked the octopus, beet salad, and polenta the best. For the entres I split the tenderloin and the halibut- the pasta was pretty good with the exception of the black lobster pasta which everyone felt didn't have much flavor. Overall a great spot - worth coming back to!

Yelp
Food was on point. Narrow focus but they did it well. Service was awesome. Perhaps the best we saw.

Yelp
Nice ambience and very friendly service. Our meal started out with a bread basket - bread was warm and one was a ham sandwich of sorts. We started out with cocktails, which were delicious. We both ordered pasta. The vegetarian pasta was a bit too heavy on the butter and was missing that special something. Can't place my finger on it. My braised beef corkscrew pasta was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake with white peach sorbet was excellent.

Yelp
Fart-scetta beach. What a disappointment. After a 45 minute wait for a table outside we were finally seated after the sun had went down. Our server greeted us warmly and we were excited to finally enjoy a delicious meal with the ocean views that only gurneys could provide... or so we thought. Appetizers were flavorless and not worth the 75$ we spent on two dishes that each contained 3 bites of food each. We hoped that the main dishes could save our experience but unfortunately they were just as much of a let down as the appetizers. The seafood pasta was full of what seemed like the end of the night fish scraps and the "lobster pasta" had trace amounts of seafood and that's being generous. The flavors of all the dishes were lacking yet overwhelmingly offensive. I wish I could say the scenery saved this overpriced sad meal, but since we were seated in the dark, nothing helped. If it wasn't for our kind waiter who attended to us properly, I would have got up and left. Do better montauk. Anniversary dinner ruined.
