"Inspired by the penthouse performance of 'Everybody Wants to be a Cat' from the classic film Aristocats. The lounge features hanging lanterns, a paw print-adorned baby grand piano, live music, and a variety of uniquely themed cocktails." - Jacqueline Dole

This is a small jazz lounge bar at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. The lounge area is cozy. It has some small tables that seat about four people scattered throughout the bar. There are also small tables with a barrel chair on each side. The bar is full service, but they have a list of specialty cocktails. You can also order some food items, such as the beignets. The live entertainment starts around 7:30pm on select evenings. It's a chill/relaxing atmosphere.

This place is amazing the trio band is what makes it and it can be standing room only on a Saturday night. It is definitely an adult Escape in a world made for kids. I would definitely try the Baton Rouge beignets. The normal Beignets are fabulous as well but if you want a little extra kick the Baton Rouge Beignets will do it for you. You will find several local employees for both Universal and Disney hanging out at this place. Or their friends and family will be there. It's definitely a laid-back atmosphere and some place to go and listen to some amazing Jazz that is put on by an ensemble of a group of different musicians that are rotated out on a regular basis. It would be better with a four-piece to show off all the different Talent that's in the Orlando area but I'll take a three-piece. If you like music and you like jazz this is the place to be at this time. If you'd like to do something fun and you're not staying on the Disney properties park at Disney Springs walk around to the West End where you can catch the boats to the Disney Resorts up the sassagoula river. It's a fun little ride on the boat that's free and takes you straight up to the resort which is beautiful, and you can see the horse carriage rides going by and the beautiful way that the hotel looks from the river. And again it's a free boat ride. They have signature cocktails that they do and they are fabulous. The scat Kat Club is by far a getaway for adults when the kids have driven them crazy all day.

The vegan beignets here are just as delicious as we imagine Tiana would make them — fresh, warm, and on the denser side, but still a real treat. We paired them with the vegan chocolate sauce, which tasted a lot like Hershey’s syrup: very sweet and a little artificial, though not a bad match. In our opinion, the beignets shine best on their own as a perfect plant-based snack while soaking up the charm of Port Orleans French Quarter. Bonus points for the kind staff — special shoutout to Sabrina from Rio de Janeiro at the register for being especially friendly!

Scat Cat Club’s is a must visit. We always make sure and stop by before visiting the park. If you let the attendant know you just want to get food, I’ve had no issues being let into the resort. The beignets are amazing and bonus gluten free. All the dipping sauces are yummy and worth a try! They also have decent drip coffee to get the morning started. If you’re feeling adventurous they also have adult only liquor infused beignets. I adore the overall atmosphere and experience.

Best beignets! We had to go back for more! The atmosphere is like a little jazz museum and if you are a music fan you will really enjoy looking around while enjoying your amazing, fresh, and hot beignets 😍 Is there anything better? The Baton Rouge beignets are a must!

The beignets were amazing! And the friendly staff made our day!

We came for beignets and they didn't not disappoint. They were SO good. Especially the Sundae.

Gluten free beignets! They were delicious. So tasty and made fresh. Worth the detour to Port Orleans if your Disney travels don't take you near there.

Yelp
My wife really hyped this place up and we've never been to the French Quarter anyway so we took the long trip to get there (by boat). We were here for two reasons, the seasonal beignets (Haunted Mansion themed?) and the Kahlua and Baileys (three reasons?). Seemed pretty busy for the middle of the day but I would say it was worth it. I haven't had a lot of beignets but these were really good. The seasonal beignets were cookies and cream dusted with some colored frostings. Very hot and freshly fried. The Baton Rouge beignets (filled with alcohol) were also good. The texture was obviously different and they were flowing with Baileys and Kahlua. If you want a sweet snack, coming to the French Quarter is a must to try these beignets.

Yelp
Scat Cat's lounge is an amazing treasure of a place. Staff was extremely kind, and super sweet to my kiddo. We love the French Quarter hotel, and this is very much one of the things that helped make it a great place to stay at. They have great beignets, coffee and hot chocolate for the kiddos. They even have amazing GF ones as well for those in our group who needed them. My kiddo loved that they had chocolate options for it that we got for him along with the three count of regular mickey ones. We will for sure keep scat cat's as a stop if are staying at the hotel. Possibly as an option to boat over from Springs.

Yelp
Located within Port Orleans French Quarter. Simple parking, they will let you park if you tell them you are stopping in to the Cafe/lounge. This is one of our favorite locations to visit near WDW. We come as everyone does for the warm, pillowy beignets. The chocolate sauce is so flavorful, and the strawberry sauce is like liquid strawberry jam. I haven't tried the caramel sauce yet. We are looking forward to trying the Halloween special beignets - Cookies and Cream with marshmallow sauce variety on our upcoming trip. Service is friendly and fast, self-serve cold water is always lovely. Plenty of room to sit and relax.

Yelp
We had been craving beignets for over a week, and we couldn't have found a better place. The theme of the café is New Orleans, and it's a very pretty and cute location. They offer various types of beignets, but we opted for the classic Mickey-Shaped Beignets with Chicory Chocolate Ganache. Even though they were about to close, the beignets were still fresh, and the cast members were very friendly.

Callie K.

Yelp
My first visit to this resort was back in the late 90s. My family fell in love with the beignets. It was the only place I ever had them. So many memories with my family and grandma. We try to make a visit here every trip even stay at another resort. A while back they changed the beignets to a Mickey shape. They don't taste as great as the regular ones back in the day did that just melted in your mouth. So the recipes must be different. The staff here was so kind and friendly. It did take awhile to get my order done I had placed it. This was the first time I've ever heard of dipping sauce for beignets. They were still so good but I do miss the ones from my childhood. The chocolate sauce was a bit rich and bitter and the strawberry had some zing. I even picked up a shirt about these at the stop next door.

Shannon F.

Yelp
You really can't go wrong with the beignets at the Scat Cats Club. I've tried different varieties of them across different visits and they never disappoint. My personal favorite is the traditional beignets with strawberry dipping sauce, hut the haunted mansion ones that were out around Halloween were delicious as well. The ambiance is super quaint and enjoyable. Despite there frequently being a long line, it seems to always move quickly and the cast members are very efficient. This is without a doubt a can't miss spot when staying at Disneys Port Orleans French Quarter.

Yelp
My friend visited me from out of town and she wanted to visit Disney Springs. We took the free ferry over to the New Orleans resort to explore. We stumbled upon Scat Cat's Club and SO GLAD WE DID. There was a line, but it moved really fast. We decided upon the order of 6 beignets, and it comes with 2 sauce choices. We picked chocolate and strawberry. We stood to the side and waited for our mickey beignets to be ready. THEY CAME OUT SO HOT AND FRESH! We couldn't get to the table quick enough to devour them. Light, fluffy, and yes we ate all 6. Worth it. Get them. You won't regret it. We thought the chocolate sauce was our favorite. Also they are shaped like Mickey heads and it really adds to the Disney experience. This location is in the Port Orleans Resort and has a great ambiance and you are transported to NOLA.

Natalie H.

Yelp
Whenever you have a beignet craving this is the spot! They always come out fresh hot and covered in that powdery sugary goodness! They also have seasonal offerings from time to time! Cast members are always diligent and get orders out quickly! The atmosphere/decor goes perfectly with the rest of the resort and it's right next to the food court!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
In the Disney Port Orleans Resort, you'll find this amazing beignet stand. So many choices, and they serve beverages too. There's seating in the cafe, outside, in the food court or in the lobby! The lines are managed well, and food is made to serve fresh. We are staying at Saratoga Springs resort and took the convenient sassagoula river boat over to the French quarter. Check for times on the boat. They close tonight at 8pm. You can also take a car over and park for free if you say your a guest for dinner.

Yelp
For my gluten free BFF's - run to Scat Cat and get your beignet fix on. They have gluten free beignets and it does not taste gluten free at all. They don't look like gluten free at all either. Powdered with powder sugar and look is deceiving and tastes great... Although the gf beignets don't come in mickey's shape but it looks and tastes just divine in the snowy pillowy shape waiting to be indulged. The only gluten free and dairy free sauce that comes with the gf beignet is the strawberry one. It comes in 3 or 6 beignets order so take your pick - eat there or take it to go. There are plenty of seating inside or outside the cafe but still indoor (inside the building since it shares with the hotel). The staff who took my order kindle asked me if there are other allergies that they need to be aware of, which is very nice to be asked since not many restaurants or cafe do that. After that, take a walk around the property and enjoy the sun and walk off those beignet belly - just watch out for the gators by the water (jk or not jk). Plenty of parking at the property but no indoor parking. So cover the windshield and enjoy the AC indoor with your beignets on. Hopefully they're able to bring the gf beignets in other cities.

Yelp
Scat Cat is only open in the evening, around 5pm. They also only have a few tables inside and a couple of lounge chairs. Scat Cat's Club is a jazz lounge with a band singing all different songs. You feel like you are in a jazz club in New Orleans square. They offer unique cocktails and appetizers. Scat Cat's Club is located at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. We were staying at the next-door resort- Riverside- so we were able to easily hope over. We really enjoyed this club so I'm hoping we can go to the resort in the evening and security would let us through. Disney has become really Strick with parking at the resort without a reservation, so fingers crossed. Your other options are parking at Disney Springs and taking a bus over which is free or taking an Uber, if security does not let you through. We had 5 people with us and it was very hard for us to sit. The tables are extremely small and if everyone is ordering food and drinks there is no space. For cocktails my wife and a friend ordered the Chocolate Martini made with Mozart. They loved it and would order it again. My sister-in-law ordered a classic Cosmopolitan. Very good! A friend and I ordered the Old Fashion. We like to think of ourselves as a connoisseur and these were really good. They have a variety of appetizers, and we ordered a couple different ones. My wife and sister-in-law ordered the Mardi gras fritters- house made pimento cheese fritters with pepper jelly. These were pretty good. The first fritter the pimento had completely fallen out. She also said they were cold, but the flavor was there. If they were hot this would have been a really great dish. Our friends ordered the Bayou wings which were smoked chicken tossed in a sweet and sour BBQ sauce served with Cajun fries. These were very tasty, and the fries were very good as well with a nice little kick. We also ordered a side of the kettle chips which had a nice seasoning on them. I wanted to try to the sassy sassagoula sliders which was a trio of sliders- fried green tomatoes with pepper jelly, BBQ Jack Fruit with slaw and fried pickles and a "fish" cake with spicy remoulade and arugula. This was actually a plant-based dish and was absolutely delicious. I would order them again. They do have two different types of beignets, one savory and one with liquor inside. I think this place needs some regular beignets. I feel that is missing. They do sell them next door, but there are many signs that state no outside food can be brought in. For that, I believe they should sell normal ones with just powdered sugar. All in all, this is a really great "night club" jazz bar. The music was great, the food really good, the drinks fantastic. We will definitely be trying to come back here for a night out. You do not have to be staying there to go, just be prepared on a busy night you might not be able to grab a seat. This was a great night and really fun! Loved it!

We always joke that we can tell a good cosmo by the color and this was a very light pink. Very good! My husband and I our other friend ordered the Old Fashion. They are more of a connoisseur and they both really enjoyed the drinks. They have a variety of appetizers including potato puffs, fritters, po boy, wings and more. Yelp
5 stars! Just for the Mickey beignets! Actually, this place is pretty alright! You can get several kinds of beignets. The regular, Mickey Head shaped ones, a seasonal kind, and ones that are injected with some kinda liquor, like Kahlua or Baileys. Unfortunately, those aren't shaped like Mickey's head, which as we all know makes them taste better... they're still good though. The seasonal kind we saw during our stay was a Banana Foster variant. We didn't get a chance to try them though. Of course, the beignets are amazing. They're fluffy and a bit crispy, and not too sweet. Also crazy hot because they're made to order. Don't burn the roof of your mouth! I know we all secretly want to eat Mickey, but please be careful and take your time! They also got coffee here. Unfortunately, it's all Joffrey's. I'm not a big fan of this coffee, and it's all over the resort. That's not their fault though. I suppose it's not the worst thing in the world. Who needs good coffee when the beignets are this tasty, anyway?

Jamie P.

Yelp
This is such a fun place with live jazz on the weekends. We live locally come here to catch the band play. The drinks are good and the boozy beignets are tasty. Our most recent visit was doing a Haunted Mansion promotion with "playful spirits" margaritas and " ghoulish" beignets. The margarita was ok but the beignets were a hit. There seems to always be too few servers so service can be slow. We like to park at Disney Springs and take the resort boats to get to the lounge. It works well if you don't have a time crunch. Just make sure you know when they boats stop going back to Disney Springs or else you need to wait for a resort bus.

Shaneck R.

Yelp
I'm so glad they sell the famous Disney beignets here. They were so so good and totally worth coming out here for. The New Orleans theming is also such a nice touch! The only con is that unless you are staying at this resort, you will not be allowed to park here so you do need to park at Disney Springs and hop on a boat to get here.

Kelsey D.

Yelp
100% recommend if you are gluten free to go to Scat Cat's Club when you go to Disney World. Scat Cat's Club offers gluten free beignets that are so good. They come with salted caramel, strawberry, or chicory chocolate ganache sauce. I went with the salted caramel and chicory chocolate ganache and it was really good. They are a little more dense than the normal beignets but such a good dough and a fun dessert that you can't get everywhere being gluten free. There is a good amount of seating at Scat Cat's Club or some additional seating next door at the quick serve. The seating area has some fun pictures to look at while you enjoy your dessert.

Mathew G.

Yelp
This place will offer you some amazing beignets! It's a very small location that is right next to the main entrance of the hotel. Truly a delicious snack! You can visit this place by taking a boat from Disney springs, by bus to the hotel, or in a car. Since it is right in the front of the hotel it makes it very easy to get in and out of quickly. The only downside to this location, they are very popular and do not have enough seating. Now you can take the food and go to a bench somewhere else. However at the cafe I didn't see many tables available during a peak time.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Three stars for the food and service. One star for what they call "beignets." More on that later. The lounge opens at 5p so it was perfect for some dinner. We ordered the bayou wings and the trio of sliders. Bayou wings were delicious...nice touch with the seasoned fries on the side. The trio of sliders were surprisingly good. It's not your typical beef sliders. One of them was fried green tomatoes, one was fried pickle with fish cake. It tastes muchhhh better than you'd think. Service was attentive and our sweet waitress kept our drinks full and plenty of napkins & condiments which were brought to us in a timely manner. Now the disappointing part of this dining experience. We heard so much about the beignets here and it can ONLY be found here at Port Orleans French Quarter. Nowhere else in WDW property. I'm a west coast girl...grew up with Disneyland so I know my beignets from our New Orleans Square Mint Julep bar. I've also been to New Orleans, LA. Now these here at Scat's Cat Lounge are NOT beignets. What a disappointment when I bit into one only having the consistency and density of a freakin plain ol donut. Ugh....waste of calories. I understand those who only knows WDW but if your 'home' is Disneyland...these do not compare to what you're used to.

Aubrie H.

Yelp
Located in Port Orleans French Quarter resort, this is a great place to stop for a drink, snack or live music. The music is always wonderful but the seating is limited so get there early to secure a spot. They have Abita beers on tap and a sazerac on the menu which are both good. They also have small plates as well as beignets!

Samuel F.

Yelp
Delicious beignets here at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort! I ordered 3 with the salted caramel dipping sauce and they were to die for! So dense but fluffy and delicious. If you're staying at the Riverside resort you can take the boat or walk to this resort and order this sweet treat! There's not much of anything to see in this lounge honestly, just a quick service ordering window. Staff is lovely as always. Food comes out hot and super quick!

Christina V.

Yelp
What a wonderful hidden gem! I didn't even know this place existed. I've been to Disney so many time. Busted a ton of hotels. If it wasn't for the the morning talk show I might have never know. My server Sarah was awesome. The band started 7:30 right on time and ended the 1st set at 8:15. The club is open until 10:00pm. I enjoyed my drink but my appetizer was meh. The description stated potatoes puff but they were tarter tot. My alcohol infused bengiet was were blah. The bengiet didn't taste fresh & the tube of alcohol was cold. Kahuala isn't keep the refrigerator. The band & the server were great. There were other items on the menu that looked really amazing.

Brett B.

Yelp
Great place for Mickeys biniets! Hot and fresh and so good. Worth the trip on the ferry from Disney Springs.

Lina N.

Yelp
GET THE HAUNTED MANSION BEIGNETS BEFORE THEY ARE GONE! Everyone loves a good beignets. If you don't are you even enjoying life right now? Head over to Scat Cats over at the French Quarter (you don't need to be staying on property you can just let security know you are going to Scat Cats and they will tell you where visitor parking is. Every once in a while Disney puts out specialty foods at specific locations and this did not disappoint. You get three beignets dusted with cookies n cream powder and drizzled with some icing. It is a dream come true! Now of course they have their normal Mickey beignets and full menu still available but I can not say enough about these! The haunted mansion margarita (also photographed) is right next door at the lounge. Now this was a huge miss for me. Sure it looks pretty but there was a super song salt taste and the alcohol that Disney decided to brew together for this cocktail just falls short. Def a pass. Just know that you won't want to share those HM Beignets!!

Allyssa P.

Yelp
Great spot for a post dinner beignet dessert. Classic choice are the regular beignets with the salted caramel dipping sauce. Also lookout for the seasonal specials that usually are a can't miss.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
This popular place is known for its famous Mickey beignets. It's all made fresh to order and served pipping hot! Not only are they shaped like Mickey which makes it even better to enjoy but it's also slightly sweet, a little crispy on the outside and super fluffy and soft on the inside. You can order in quantities of 3 or 6 and also as a sundae. I highly recommend ordering 6! It is so delicious that you'll be wanting more! Orders also come with a choice of two sauces (strawberry, chocolate ganache, and caramel). It gets very busy and orders make take some time but service is great. There are limited seatings inside but tables and chairs also available outside.

Benedict A.

Yelp
Took the boat from Disney springs to the French quarter to try the beignets. And I was glad we went out of our way to try them. They sell several types of beignets. Their regular ones come out in the shape of mickey's ears with a generous dusting of powdered sugar. It's not doughy at all. Not dense. Light and fluffy. They have multiple sauces from a strawberry compote to a salted caramel sauce. Both were extremely good and paired well with the beignets as well as a cup of hot black coffee. They have another specialty beignet called Baton Rouge beignets, which contains alcohol in them. In our case, we got them with rumchata. They have a little pippete that goes into the center of the beignet. Alcohol is very strong. Adds another dimension. Nice to try, but I preferred the regular beignets. My friends who are originally from Louisiana (shoutout to the Martin clan) stated they were very authentic and good beignets. So I guess you can't go wrong with that. There's evidently a French based beignet, too, which is totally different than Louisiana beignets. They also have other southern dishes. Specifically, we tried their gumbo as well as their jambalaya. Both were really good. And received high marks from the group, again they are Louisiana natives, so I trust it when they say it's authentic. I definitely will be back to try them if I'm ever in the Orlando area again. Now I really know what beignets taste like, and I'm quite excited to one day go to Louisiana to have their beignets as well!!!

Steve L.

Yelp
Love this place. Probably the best value on property, bar none. Take a boat from Disney Springs and grab some beignets at Scat Cat's Club for one of the best, inexpensive experiences you will have at Disney World. The decor takes you back to the era of Jazz. It is beautiful. The cast members are friendly. But it is the beignets that steal the show. Actually, it is French Quarters that steal the show, beignets are just a part. A wonderful resort, great pool area, and just walking around the hotel is a joy. I can't say it enough, I love this place. It was my birthday when we went, and this is where I chose to go. I love it that much.

Staci S.

Yelp
I read online that you must try beignets here. My friend and I traveled by the complimentary boat (don't need to be a resort guest to use) from Disney Springs (purple flag boat at the end of January) to Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort. The ride was pleasant and Scat Cat's Club (located just outside the lounge) is a short walk away from the dock. The cafe is open throughout the day while the lounge is only open at night. The cafe offers sweet beignets while the lounge offers more savory options. At the cafe, we ordered 6 Mickey shaped beignets which came with two dipping sauces. For the sauces, we chose Strawberry and Chicory Chocolate Ganache. Everything was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Delightfully surprising was that the strawberry dipping sauce was similar to fresh jam! I would definitely recommend to dine-in (there is plenty of seating inside and outside of the cafe as well as the neighboring food venue - Sassagoula - which has food court type seating) since these beignets are piping hot and messy. Water (in the Coke drink dispensers) and to-go containers/disposable plates (on top of the microwaves) are available in Sassagoula. If you crave beignets, this is definitely the place to be. You can enjoy delicious and fresh goodness without the hustle and bustle of Disney. Seating and space is much more likely here.

Anna E.

Yelp
The gluten free beignets are sooooo good I just want live here!!!! They are very allergy safe and take your order separately, give you a personal buzzer, require you to verify your allergy with pick up and have an allergy marker in the food! All the sauces are gluten free and we got the chocolate. I literally could just eat the sauce for days! We took the free boat from Disney Springs (go to the dock past the Rainforest cafe right outside of Disney Springs) for a lovely 20 ish min boat ride to the Port Orleans resort. While it may seem like a journey it was so worth it, I felt like I had been transported back to New Orleans when I could eat beignets at Cafe du Monde like a normal person! My husband got the regular Mickey shaped beignets and said they were so similar to Cafe du Monde, too! We will definitely be back :) One of the best Disney treats we've ever had!

Dave B.

Yelp
Needed a quick late night fix on some beignets. Stopped by Scat Cat as were staying next door, and glad we did. Easy stop along the Sassagoula river shuttle from Riverside to Disney Springs. Tje Beignet's we're delightful with a chocolate and strawberry dipping sauce.

Princess B.

Yelp
You should head over to Scat Cat's Club at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort and try the Ghoulish Delight Beignets or vegan beignets with a spooky strawberry syrup! These Mickey-shaped beignets are dusted with cookies 'n cream powdered sugar and drizzled with a ghoulish marshmallow crème. They're so delicious, they'll make you scream with delight! But beware, these beignets are not for the faint of heart. They're so messy, they'll haunt your hands, clothes, and even the bowl. You'll need plenty of napkins and maybe a ghostbuster to clean up the sticky mess. Don't let that scare you away though, these beignets are worth every bite. Just make sure you enjoy them before they disappear into thin air on October 31st! Full review at Princess and the Bear on YouTube https://youtu.be/vWyzQ8DBJBk If you're looking for a spirited drink to go along with your beignets, you can also order the Playful Spirits Margarita at Scat Cat's Club Lounge. This drink is made with Patron Silver Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, lime juice, and a Fess Parker Red Blend Floater. It also has a black salt rim that adds a touch of mystery. This margarita is inspired by the Haunted Mansion, the classic Disney attraction and the new movie in theaters. It's a perfect way to toast to the happy haunts that reside in the mansion. Both of these items are pictured below asking with additional items. Full description in the photo.

Yelp
Beignets were amazing so was the chicory coffee. It's a must go to place now when I'm going to Disney

Yelp
gluten free beignets are to die for, so much so that i'll drive out of my way! sometimes they're done right and are super fluffy, while once or twice i've gotten them completely flat. the lounge is nice & fits the theme of the hotel. the service is at disney standard & their moscato was tasty.

Yelp
Seating is a little crowded and if it's busy you will wait a minute but they were so fresh! Recommend getting a double espresso to go with them. We like to sit outside while we eat.

Yelp
Had to get the famous beignets at Disney Port Orleans. I can't get into the debate on it's authenticity, I haven't been to New Orleans in 20 years. But they were DELICIOUS! Get the caramel sauce!

Yelp
Love this place! We come by every visit for Mickey beignets! They are so bready and delicious. The powdered sugar is plentiful and the chocolate sauce is the bomb. Definitely perfect for Madi Gras. They even have boozy options with pipettes of liquor to go along. You can also get a sundae built on beignets which is absolutely amazing. You absolutely have to stop by if you're visiting the resort. I'd skip the coffee though. They use one of those ancient instant machines. You would think they'd step up their coffee game considering all they serve are beignets and beverages. I really wish they had some good cafe du monte coffee. A little coffee bar would elevate this.

Yelp
Scat Cat's Club is a New Orleans-style Lounge and Café inside Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter at Walt Disney World. The resort opened in 1991, but Scat Cat's Club didn't open until October 2019. The location had previously been home to Bonfamille's Café. The café is decorated with all sorts of jazz memorabilia. The most well-known staple on the menu are Mickey-shaped Beignets: fried dough pastries that are popular in New Orleans Creole cuisine. These pastries were previously only available in the resort's food court: Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory. Now guests can grab Beignet's at the café without having to wait in long lines at the food quart. Although the café opens for breakfast, the lounge area is only open in evenings and features a small menu of New Orleans-inspired pub grub, a full-service cocktail bar and live jazz music for customers to enjoy. My family and I recently visited Scat Cat's Club while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. During our week-long stay at Disney World, we decided to visit Port Orleans French Quarter so we could swim in their Double Lagoon swimming pool. I stayed at this same resort when I visited Disney World as a young boy and was always so impressed by the pool, which features a 51-foot sea serpent named "Scales". After finishing up at the pool, we stopped at Scat Cat's Club to pick up some of their signature Beignets. We took them back to our hotel room to munch on. They were absolutely delicious! My wife and I also ordered some "Baton Rouge" Beignets: adult versions of the pastries which are injected with your choice of Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlua or RumChata. Those boozy pastries really hit the spot!

Yelp
Cute bar at Port Orleans... I love the ambiance and the hot tea...definitely more fun than The Outer Rim bar at The Contemporary. Did I say "Outer Rim"? yeah- avoid that place.

Yelp
We decided to stop and enjoy some Mickeys shaped Beignets while doing some pin trading. These were delicious! The lounge is nice, you can sit and enjoy beignets and coffee or a drink, enjoy some music. Great place to relax!

Yelp
Came for the infamous Mickey beignets, left with a sugar high and a smidge of disappointment. Scat Cat's Club offers Mickey shaped beignets served several ways: traditional with powdered sugar and dipping sauce, speciality style with filling or various toppings, as a sundae, or "Baton Rouge" style with booze injected into them. Though cute and picture perfect, the texture and taste missed the mark for me as my beignet tasted really dry and more like an old donut. Scat Cat's Club is located in the Port Orleans - French Quarter resort of Walt Disney World. You do not need a reservation at the hotel (or the restaurant) to buy anything here. They are set up as a quick service/ counter service spot with a few seats directly inside their space for guests to sit in. This was my first time at Scat Cat's Club and I appreciated the energy and friendliness the Cast Members (CMs) extended to me as I figured out what to order and asked questions. They were all so sweet and, though they were a little busy, they were all super patient even though I took a little while to place my final order. They also were very efficient with handling all of the customers and fulfilling orders in a timely manner. I opted to try their specialty raspberry beignet. It came nicely decorated with Mickey sprinkles and a drizzle of glaze. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it basically was a raspberry filled 'beignet' that really had more old donut like qualities. The inside of the beignet was barely filled with raspberry and the dough was really dry. I'm a big fan of the Disneyland ones and this did not even come close. Super sad face. I had high expectations, but want to be realistic. The beignet itself was edible, and probably would suffice as a regular, Disney sweet treat. It just didn't quite meet the mark of beignet for me. The CMs were the highlight to this visit; thus, bumping up my overall star rating for Scat Cat's Club. Pricing was affordable and was of good value for a Disney snack. NOTE: At the time of my visit and writing this review, there were no dining plans being offered or AP discounts being applied.

Yelp
Came for the micky shaped beignets. They were okay, thick and cakey. I was expecting fluffier donuts. The chocolate sauce tastes like coffee. Eat them fresh while they're hot cause they're a little crispy. If they sit around they aren't crunchy anymore and taste like cold donuts. Always eat hot.

Yelp
Get the Bananas Foster Beignets before they're gone! Grab yours at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter at the Scat Cat's Club Cafe before February 29th! They were incredibly good!

Yelp
Fresh Mickey Beignets from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarters. Available only at this resort, these beignets only changed to mickey shaped back in 2018. Previously they were the normal shaped you would find in New Orleans. These Beignets taste more like a donut. A very freshly made, yummy donut, mind you. But they aren't airy and fluffy like how they usually are. Compared to the ones in Disneyland, I do prefer the DL better but this one is still pretty good. Rating - 8/10 Price - $6.99 (3) $10.99 (6) -includes Dipping Sauces which you can choose from Caramel, Strawberry, or Chicory Coffee Ganache .

Yelp
Love this place. Our go to for beignets... plus they're Mickey shaped! Definitely have to visit if you're having a sweet tooth.

Yelp
To say that my precious beignet tastings have been disappointing would be an understatement. This journey to Scat Cat's Club Lounge was my last ditch effort into enjoying beignets. The beignets here were so soft and fluffy and I finally enjoyed eating beignets. We ordered beignet sundae, a Mardi Gras beignet, and Baton Rouge beignets with Bailey's Irish Cream. The sundae is huge! Three full beignets and three scoops of ice cream with sauce and whipped creamed. The Baton Rouge beignets had the little squeeze pipettes filled with the Bailey's to inject into the two fluffy beignets that were of course topped with powdered sugar. The Mardi Gras, was drizzled with chocolate and sprinkles. The perfect theming of the hotel and restaurant take the whole experience up a notch. I would absolutely go here again just for beignet fix.

Yelp
Headed to the lounge to finally try the Mickey Beignets I've seen rave reviews about online, and I was not disappointed. We were more in the cafe area, but I didn't see a separate place to review that on Yelp. I thought the price ($7.49 for 3) was absolutely reasonable for what I received, and I was pleased with the efficiency of the location with how busy it was the night we stopped in (Saturday). I waited in line to get the 3 beignet order, they came out hot and fresh in a paper bag filled with powdered sugar- I got to shake them up myself and dive right in. They come with a sauce, but I didn't really feel like it was necessary as they were so good without it. I'll be back for sure- highly recommend if you love beignets!

Yelp
This review is just for the beignets. I had heard so much about these beignets and as a foodie and a picky foodie for that fact, I was looking to be disappointed but these did not disappoint. For $6.99 you have three beignets large and Mickey shaped with powder sugar and they come with a sauce. We chose chicory chocolate which was delicious. They did have an option for 6 or a seasonable peppermint ganache flavor. The spiked eggnog was also a nice accompaniment. Honestly we ate breakfast here two days in a row and as a person that's into fitness - not like me. I would 100 percent recommend you to come eat these beignets and even take some to go!

Yelp
The service is amazing and the environment makes you feel like your in NOLA. Jolene made me feel at home every morning! Also the beignets are impressive! I had the plain with a Carmel sauce. But I heard the strawberry and chocolate are amazing. To add they also have a Bailey's that is fire!
