This is an amazing find! The chocolate was absolutely exquisite! You can taste the quality and the flavor was over the top! But wait they serve Turkish coffee the traditional way and it was absolutely delicious! Served along with the Turkish delights! But wait.. there’s more a huge shout out to Brenda, who was our barista and made this experience over the top! Brenda was a wealth of knowledge, kindness and was very cheerful!!!🤗 We will always stop by there whenever we visit the area!

Dubai chocolate was phenomenal! It’s thicker than other places and plenty of filling. My family enjoyed the Turkish Delights!

I am obsessed with this place. I absolutely love the chocolate (made in house), Turkish delights and wide variety of sweets they offer. The owners are amazing, hospitable and so nice. The Turkish coffee’s presentation was so pretty and the coffee was delicious. They offer ice cream, but i didn’t try it, i will next visit. They had great gift boxes also, offered different variety of sizes. I can’t wait to return to try and buy more different flavors.

This place has no business being SO good. In an area of Ft. Lauderdale that’s notorious for carbon copy beach shops, this place is such a delicious departure from that. It’s got exceptional coffee, excellent chocolates, and so many tasty Turkish specialties! Plus, the prices are good and the employees are exceptionally welcoming. The traditional Turkish coffee was a phenomenally delicious experience in which I got to learn more about what makes this coffee so unique. The presentation for my cup was an added bonus. Also tried a cup of their hot chocolate which was wonderful. There’s a seemingly endless array of chocolates, Turkish delights, savory truffles, and so much more to enjoy here. Prices are by the pound for their items in the cases. Everything was perfectly delicious. The space is really bright and welcoming. Between the excellent food, the great employees, and the wonderful prices, this is a next level chocolate and coffee shop.

True gem for chocolate lovers as well as those with a sweet tooth 💞 This place has its unique taste and character with various types of chocolate dessert, coffee/ tea, ice cream and accessories for sale to make your own Turkish coffee at home. We tried 4 different types of chocolate that comes by weight, every single one has their own formula and taste. Definitely recommend for pleasant and sweet experience)

My family and I were going on a cruise and went on down the road to check out some shops and found this awesome chocolate shop! The owner treated both my little girls with so much love and gave them so many extra treats! We tried the Dubai Chocolate, Turkish Delights and a delicious coffee. Very friendly owner and great treats!!

Everything about this place is amazing, Brenda went above and beyond as soon as we stepped foot into the store, she was extremely knowledgeable and sweet. We got to taste some truffles before we bought and then decided to get Turkish coffee and that literally warmed my soul. 10 out of 10, try their dark chocolate orange peels

The new owners were amazing! They were so gracious, explaining to us all the new and delicious chocolates they have. They made fresh Dark Chocolate Covered Orange Peals for me. I purchased a very well priced package of Turkish Delights for my sisters in law. My husband even tried Turkish Coffee there. I am definitely going back. The place is so much better and more specialized than it used to be. It's no longer generic. There are some truly exotic items in this shop. 😍 This place is great for gifts Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, birthdays, etc.

We really liked this place! Very cute and unique. We tried 5 different chocolates and they were all delicious.

Stopped in here because I noticed a sugar free sign on the door. The sweet girl behind the counter was beyond helpful. I will definitely be back for some more delicious chocolate.

there's a matrix that works with refilling, the fruit the food should be amazing and the service can be substandard, the service can be substandard if the food is amazing, if the presentation as well, the food will taste better, if the packaging as well, the food will taste better. That being said, I'm never one to complain about top dollar cost for top dollar goods. This was my first visit and it missed on all aspects. The chocolate was subpar in flavor, the fillings were subpar and tested almost all, I couldn't tell if this was a Turkish coffee house or a chocolate shop I ordered five pieces of candy and they were $13 and change each piece missed on all aspects I ordered on almond toffee. The toffee was far too chewy as opposed to hard like most of them are the chocolate was very mild and taste the chocolate covered Oreo was no better than one you would find in the cookie aisle of Publix , the pecan turtle was lacking salt and they get the chocolate was subpar in flavor and finally the hazelnut cream had more of a coffee flavor than a hazelnut flavor I have never been to this establishment I have seen it a number of times, and today wandered over, and it will not be a return visit. I would recommend Hoffmans, Kilwins, any other chocolatier that you see.

This was a nice spot to stop at after I was in downtown Fort Lauderdale this weekend. My husband suggested that we go pick up some chocolate treats on the way home. It's a beautiful chocolate shop with lovely décor inside. We were greeted instantly and the man behind the counter (I assume was the owner) was extremely kind and offered us a few samples. He provided some insight on the chocolates and flavors. We got a small assortment of about 12 or so truffles/chocolates. All were beautifully crafted as they had intricate designs on them and absolutely tasted delicious. My personal favorite out of the chocolates; was the amaretto dark chocolate. Phenomenal! It was rich in chocolate goodness and extremely smooth when eating it. Craving them again as I type this! It was a quick stop through- but I hope to make another stop next time I'm in the area. I plan on buying the other chocolates I didn't buy this first time around. There were other customers in there and you can tell they were satisfied as they voiced how incredible the chocolate they bought was. I'm hoping to try some of the Turkish coffee as well next time!

Cute little place on the corner of a shopping plaza. What a nice place the proprietor was there and gave us samples. The Hot chocolate was rich and creamy. I also had an affogato, and the kids had gelato. Delish!

The quality at Schakolad is superb. After eating at Kelly's Landing, we walked in to get a piece of candy for dessert. The salted milk chocolate caramel was so good until I bit into the dark chocolate crab. The dark chocolate is something that I will definitly be buying in the future. The married couple working here are so kind. They give special attention to each piece they make. Even the latte was fabulous!

They have the best chocolates and Turkish Delights! Highly Recommend!!! They also make custom chocolates for gifts and events :)

What an incredible find! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! The Turkish delights and baklava were out of this world. Interior is spotless. Will definitely be coming here again soon!

Can't believe I didn't know this place existed - wow! Chocolate, sure - and it's amazing and crafted in house - but also Turkish delight and Turkish coffee! Bam! Great place for a quick chocolate fix, but even better for gifts. Definitely worth a visit.

It was a bur how I got here. I had just parked the car and was ready to walk over to the restaurant. The next thing I knew I was standing in front of this place. When you first walk in to this chocolate shop. The wonderfull and sweet chocolate aroma will be the first to welcome you inside. If you like chocolate. You are in chocolate heaven. The shop has a big counter filled with different chocolates. They also sell ice-cream and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was good. It was chocolatey and a good thickness. I had a choice between milk or dark. I enjoyed it. It was gooood. I bought a box of chocolates. The chocolate is sold by weight. The box I bought was around $20 . I then chosed from the chocolate in the counter . They have a good size selection to choose from. They then packaged it really pretty in a bag. I liked the details they put to the packaging. They had this chocolate cornucopias and other holiday decorations that looked cute. All made from chocolate.The artist is very talented. The service was professional and friendly. I am so glad I stopped in.

Divine! We had a various assortment of truffles. They were delicious. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly. From the first whiff of chocolate as we walked in, we were hooked!

It's not only the amazing handmade chocolate, it is the new ownership, that makes this chocolate shop even sweeter. Sara and Mo have personality and charm that will keep me coming back again and again. If you haven't tried Turkish Coffee, have Sara pour you a cup of her coffee that is cooked over hot sand. The way things used to be. The folks that run this place are kind and enjoy what they' do. They make the chocolate on location and with the style of the store and old School customer service I felt I could have been in another era. That is a good thing because in todays retail world everything is corporate and impersonal with little time for nuance or the human touch. Great chocolate and coffee with that touch of mom and pop shoo thrown in for alls benefit.

This place is amazing the chocolate is espectacular! I came in for my first time and was amazed how delicious the chocolate is. So nice to find a good chocolate shop. I had a latte and ordered several chocolates. Yummy yumm

Such a hidden gem! We stumbled on this place and are so glad we did! The girl helping us was so nice and friendly. We got a few pieces of their chocolates and some coffee. The chocolates were very tasty and the coffee was great! I had a regular coffee but my husband had the chocolate mocha coffee and it was so good. The chocolate buttercream was my favorite piece that I had! If you want some yummy coffee and chocolate you should give this place a try.

Schakolad has a wonderful selection of handmade chocolates - truffles, caramels, turtles, bark, fruit filled, milk and dark chocolates, including sugar free. Three display cases full of chocolaty deliciousness. Prices and taste are similar to other chocolate shops in Broward. I recommend them all. On this day, we were eyeing the Easter bunnies and other holiday chocolates, but ended up buying a half pound variety of sugar free chocolate for my father. We also all indulged in ice cream and loved every bite. If you're looking for high quality, delicious chocolate, I highly recommend Schakolad! Both this location and the original one in Davie are fantastic. The ice cream is pretty great too. Support local businesses!!!

This place is awesome. Came by craving ice cream and got a Midnight Chocolate (dark chocolate with fudge). One of the smoothest ice cream I've ever had. This place also sells a variety of chocolates. The owner is Swiss so you know you can't go wrong.

Wow! We were looking at the truffles. Owner offered us each a sample of the champagne truffle. (It was New Years Eve.) Wow! We were buying half a pound and struggling with all the flavors. So he offered us a raspberry. Even better. Bought the half pound for our dinner host and another chocolate for us. Outstanding product. Very friendly owner. Told us shop had been in his family for 55 years. Love finding small family business that is amazing.

The woman who took my order was very friendly and kind. My hot chocolate was amazing and super affordable! It's such a lovely little store. I think people have forgotten about how important and special places such as this can be. .

The coffee ice cream is the BEST ice cream I have ever had in my life. I'm not kidding. I think it was called "Stellar creation" maybe? I'm not sure but it was coffee ice cream with fudge swirls and mini chocolate coffee cups and OMG!!!! So good! And cute shop :) glad I stopped by.

Had such a great experience everything was delicious the presentation of the coffee was gorgeous. I will definitely be back the hot chocolate was probably one of the best hot chocolate I've had in a while. There was so many cute chocolate molds and the owner was so sweet and generous and made sure that we were happy and we definitely were thank you so much!

Came on a recommendation and I was beyond pleased!! The owners were so SO kind and thoughtful, the place smelled DELICIOUS and she even gave me one to try and it's hands down the best chocolate I've ever had!! I can't wait to come back with my boyfriend and tell everyone I know about my new go-to chocolate shop! And it's locally owned!!

Omg!!! Best chocolate I've ever had . Hands down Their strawberries are HUGE. And sooo juicy. My bf and I both had one and both closed our eye to indulge in the yummy flavor. So worth whatever they charge. Also, they have sugar free chocolate . So hard to find when you have diabetes.

The most incredible chocolate, gelato, and service. Unfortunately it was too late to drink coffee but I'll be back this week. Mo was such a sweetheart and recommended all of the best flavors. Which to be honest not one wasn't my favorite. Thank you Mo see you soon !

Terrific chocolate covered cherries! The family that runs this is from Moldova. They have the usual varieties of high end chocolates but also really unusual things like chocolate wine. The cherries were the best I have ever had

This store was clean and elegant! They were nice, but it did take a while to get out Total and our prices are a little high! But I would recommend this to any fans of chocolate! Safe travels!

If you're looking to find one of the world's finest chocolate's, look no further. Whenever I have a sweet tooth, I immediately think about Schakolad and the different varieties of chocolate that they have. They produce fresh batches every day and have different assortments for whatever kind of dessert you'd like. From simple chocolates and cups of Turkish coffee, to ice cream cones and huge chocolate moulds of almost anything. Schakolad won't fail to leave you feeling satisfied. (And will most likely make you even more addicted to chocolate!)

11/24/21 Hope for improvement on Customer Service: I was super excited to try this chocolate factory and get hot chocolate on a chilly South Florida night. Ordered the Schackolatté and a few truffles. Service was poor and chocolate was okay. Chocolate is very rich, which is a great upside. But, the customer service was not. I ordered five truffles and the owner only weighed three. When I paid for my order and told her, she got frustrated and took an exhale of frustration and even intentionally slammed her hand on the tabletop. If it wasn't because I had already paid, I would have walked out. Her co-owner, which appears to be her spouse also seemed to be frustrated previous to that, when I ordered their hot chocolate/coffee mix. Not sure what that was all about? But, definitely not the customer service I expected. I also forgot to mention that we were reading their promotional sign regarding writing reviews to receive a truffle, when the owner took it away to show another group of customers who were leaving. She may not have noticed that we were reading a sign that we were pointing to? Pretty rude to take it away while we are reading it. Schackolad may keep their truffle.

Nice selection of chocolates and candies here in this little shop. They had samples out of their rum chocolate bits and so I had one of those. Wow, way too much sugar. But I spotted quite a few other chocolates, including one topped with cashews and so I got a small handful of those. I ate those a bit later and they were flipping awesome. Not too sweet, lots of nut mixed into the bite. Very tasty. Of course, chocolate tends to melt in the South Florida sun so be careful where you leave these babies.

Was craving for some ice cream on this hot and humid day in Florida and found this gem. Such a cute chocolatier. Ordered two scoops Midnight Chocolate and Cookies n Creme... wow chocolate was very rich and creamy. Very good and reasonably priced. The aroma of the shop was just heaven.

Came here for a corporate team building experience, it was great!! You can tell they're so passionate about their chocolate and incredibly humble. It was an absolute pleasure to be hosted here, we learned about the origins of chocolate, sampled some items and had an opportunity to actually make our own chocolate!! The team building exercise was fantastic, you can observe leaders come out in the team, see how well each person takes direction, overall very very happy. They have such positive energy & we couldn't help but smile & enjoy our time here. Not to mention the chocolate itself is absolutely delicious!! You can taste the care and love made into these creations.

I guess they dont read Yelp.I mentioned Moldova and they seemed very secrective.They also had no clue about the rewards program.Ice cream was expensive and small.Seems like they didnt want to be bothered.
