Schloss Eberstein

Fantastic views of the valley below and outstanding restaurant. Beds are reasonable comfortable and quiet. Nice location for hiking in the woods.

What a wonderful surprise, a last-minute late afternoon booking as we were passing through the area we stumble on the Schlosh Eberstein Castle and Hotel - 4 stars and worthy of each one. Perfectly located along the way, a beautiful setting high up on a hill overlooking a valley and a few small towns. Room was wonderful, spacious and overlooking the valley. Lots of parking around the property and only 12 km from the famous Biden Biden area. Breakfast was absolutely amazing in the “palatial” Mirror room - which was included in a stay, could sit there all morning. Staff and Management were friendly and helpful, really felt comfortable, a perfect place to relax for a few days before continuing our journey. Number of different restaurant options on the property, including a Michelin rated chef / dining which is top class If you’re in the area and want something special, this is it!!!

I received a gift voucher for a one-night stay at Schloss Eberstein and have tried to book a room several times over the past three years. Every time I contacted the hotel, I was told there was no availability. Now, the voucher has expired due to the three-year policy—without me ever having had the chance to use it. Very disappointing experience. Thanks for nothing.

Lunch was delicious in a beautiful setting and with great service. What more can you ask for!

This was our first trip to Germany. We just loved it. This hotel was perfect. The location, the romantic outdoor dining experience and the view from the hill. Thank you. I am sorry for posting this review so late, for me this was a magical experience. Sharing some Pics taken. Hope you like them.

Very reasonably priced. Beauty is everywhere you look! Fantastic service and friendliness. Great English-speaking. Amazing dinner on site! That was also reasonably priced. And breakfast was wonderful, with so many options.

We like the small luxury hotels of this world and their friends and we were under the false impression that this was one of them. Wrong! This hotel specialises in weddings and this is reflected in everything, such as the staff. As an individual guest you do not like to be surrounded by wedding guests, who have their own way of celebrating. The basic restaurant also lacks quality, related to its prices. A very modest Wiener Schnitzel with only potato salad for 31.50 euros is too much. In the morning our bathroom, though impressive, provided no water. A reduction on the bill was given, kindly, but nevertheless: not the concept of luxury! Look for nicer hotels is our advice. The view is impressive, though.

This is only to be considered if you have a car. It’s uphill. Looks much better in photos than in the real life.|Hotel is not located in the castle but at side building. Castle was not open to visit. |Good bed. Spacious bathroom. Room was a bit dusty due to carpet. No air-conditioning.|Werners restaurant (one star Michelin) is open from Wed to Sat. Bistro open every day. Big portions, fairly good but not worth of a detour.|Buffet breakfast is not extensive but quality was good.
