No review on the hotel. Just on the dinner.||||This was the best diner and the best wines (in a restaurant) I had for many years. The chef created excellent courses and the sommelier presented great wines that paired perfectly. Both of them not only topped my expectations but also topped some of the Michelin Star restaurants I have been to. What a delicious night. My wife, my friends and I will remember this evening for many years!! The photo’s might not do them justice 😉

Staff were great, friendly welcome at check in. ||Rooms are ok, clean and tidy but a bit shabby in places. Shower was good, good pressure but the temperature was a bit low. Bed was comfortable. ||I had a room out back which had great views and was quiet. ||Evening dinner was ok, food was nice and service was good. A few others had a few issues with their meal but was quickly sorted out.||Breakfast was good, reasonable selection. Fresh orange juice was fabulous ||Quick easy check out||Car parking was very full.

Our room was very nice. Big tub and extra large room. Staff was great. Best part was the valentines dinner. It was fabulous! The chef did an amazing job. Breakfast buffet was nice with lots of choices. Would definitely return for another visit.

My fiancé stayed in one of the studio apartments of the City Residenz, which belongs to the Schlossberg Hotel in the inner city of Homburg. The apartment had a homely atmosphere and was nicely located at the center of he city. What really stood out to me during his stay, and even after his stay had already ended, was the excellent service the hotel and its staff provided. They were extremely helpful, cooperative and competent even with unusual requests. They really lived up to the principle "the guest is king". Thank you to the staff for all your help and effort, it is greatly appreciated!

On our balcony of the room were cigarettestubs from the previous guest in the ashtray, hair in the shower, bodylotion on the floor of the beroom. The next evening after we were all day out, our room had not been cleaned. At breakfast there was mould at the rosmarin twig in the olive oil. The waitress apologised for that. So this time we were really disappointed! And at breakfast we had to go to the waitress and order our coffee and omlette. This was the second time at the Schlossberg Hotel. The location itself is beautiful with a nice view. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the service excellent. At our first stay we had been satisfied. This time we were disappoined. A. I highly recommend staying at the Schlossberg Hotel, especially at the City Residenz, which belongs to the hotel and is in the inner city.||||ROOM ITSELF: I’ve lived there for several months, and the studio was unquestionably well-equipped: kitchen supplies, minibar, microwave, TV, Wi-Fi, wardrobes, washing machine in the basement... The bathroom has also a very modern design, the shower is amazing and the hotel provides the guests with some fancy and practical toiletries. I'd also add that I've never had loud or inconvenient neighbors there.||||CLEANING: Every week a cleaning team would show up, and not only were they thorough enough to change the bedsheets and leave some fresh towels, but were also very friendly.||||LOCATION: simply amazing, right in the heart of Homburg and within walking distance from pretty much anything you’d need to go in the city (Uniklinik: 20 minutes, Train station: 10 Minutes, Supermarkt: 5 Minutes – and so on).||||CUSTOMER SERVICE: The exceptional thing about my stay there was the service of the Schlossberg Hotel. Whenever there was a problem or request by me, the hotel’s staff attended to it quickly and effectively. Everyone was always friendly, helpful and just a call or an e-mail away. It is as if I was somehow “invited” the whole time. Their attentive service highly contributed to my overall exceptional experience while living there.||||A big thank you to the whole team! =)

I stayed here one night and also ate in their restaurant. The room was fine, clean but lacking character or any luxury for this price bracket. The view is great and I recommend walking around the castle ruins nearby. In the evening I ate in the restaurant. The food was very good but the service was chaotic with the waiters shouting to eachother in Arabic. However overall my impression was positive. It was also recommended by some local people I knew.

Rooms are modern, large and well equipped. Dinner is excellent.
