Estonia's Christmas Markets

"At the other end of the design spectrum from Telegraaf is Schlössle, which translates as ‘little castle’ in German and is one of the city’s most classically elegant luxury hotels. It sits within a picturesque townhouse boasting 13th century origins, and its guest areas simply ooze historical ambience, with exposed stone walls and heavily timbered ceilings lending the spaces an inimitable character. Bedrooms range from a Superior to a Presidential Suite, and for those who like to kick-back the old-fashioned way, there’s even a cigar lounge." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

An exceptional hotel in the Old City of Tallinn. So charming and perfectly located, beyond all of that the staff is what sets the hotel apart, the service is extraordinary. From being met outside, to welcome drinks to having our taxi ready for departure and everything else in between, the service is exceptional. We loved our room overlooking the garden. We took advantage of the Sauna, which required reservations, but was never an issue. The breakfasts were wonderful and we had an fantastic dinner at the restaurant and were fortunate that the weather allowed for outdoor seating in the garden, I highly recommend taking advantage of dinner in the garden if weather allows. We were there for 4 days and the garden seating was only open our first night.|If pondering if this is your hotel, ponder no more.

Tucked away in the old Medieval section of town, it felt like stepping back into time of old-world splendor. A warm welcome by the reception crew, a delightful welcome drink, a relaxing moment in front of the fire in the lobby lounge. The perfect start to our adventure in Tallinn! A great location, in walking distance to all the major attractions. There's a lovely bakery/chocolate shop (Maiasmokk Cafe ) and Estonian handicraft shop just steps away. The main square with many restaurants and shops is also just nearby. Wear comfortable footwear to traverse the many cobblestone streets.||Our room was perfect- comfortable bed, all the amenities, quiet. A splendid breakfast buffet served in the curved-ceiling stone cellar dining rooms. |We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.|P.S. Don't forget to taste the hotel's homemade ice cream bars, yum! ||Thank you to all of the staff, who made our stay so memorable! *****

We stayed at Hotel Schlossle for 2 nights in June '25 and it was wonderful. The service is impeccable and the hotel is incredibly cozy and convenient. The rooms are small, but what you would expect from a historic city hotel. The location is perfect and the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful hotel, we have just returned from a four night stay. The location was perfect for exploring both old and new areas of the city on foot and close enough to the port to make a trip to Helsinki easy and walkable. The breakfast was lovely, the service from everyone we met was helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that the restaurant was fully booked when we wanted to eat on Thursday evening, my fault for not booking ahead of time. The helpful desk staff offered some tasty alternatives. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel, and if I'm ever fortunate enough to return I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel in old town Tallinn. Everything from the flowers outside to the decor and little touches in our room made this stay feel really special. The building itself is really old(13th century) but it has been modernised in the most tasteful way not taking from the medieval charm. The staff were very accommodating and it felt like they couldn’t do enough for you. A real 5 star experience.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is very well located for exploring the old town. The room was very comfortable although it was a little bit warm at night. The bathroom is a little dated but everything works well. We had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Schlossle! The room while small was beautiful, the bedding was very high quality and loved the chocolate with their turn down service! The location is excellent and the food was very good (I had lunch and dinner at the hotel).||The 5 star review is really about their staff. They are focused on how to care for their guests to ensure they have the best experience during their stay. I will definitely come back!

Lovely hotel started as a burgermeister lodging in the 1300s it was turned into a boutique hotel back in the 1800s. Had a welcome drink by the stone fireplace in the lobby. I had a birthday there and the hotel put up balloons & birthday cakes, fruit & meringues. Do note that the hotel is not accessible.
