Google
So I ordered the "beef Bacon smokecheesy" sandwich. I've never gotten this sandwich with so little bacon before. It's supposed to be 3 pieces. I guess it technically has 3 pieces but it's not 3 whole pieces by any means. Worst part is when I spoke to the cashier (who was wonderful and nice!) He informed me that the manager is in the back making the sandwiches. I would think a manager would want to make sure quality food was sent out not skimpy barely passable food.

Google
Food was ready for take out. Didn’t take too much time. Really like sourdough pizza crust. Artisan bread pizza was also amazing. Few vegetarian options available. Love the Wednesday pizza BOGO and also sandwiches. Quality food and ingredients. And love the location and proximity.

Google
My family and I went last night and will definitely be returning to this location to dine in. Great service and recommendations on the tomatoe basil soup. Perfection! Friendly staff and quick service. We have only ordered from here before but will now dine in also. Very clean

Google
Food is good. However, this is the second time we’ve had to wait in their drive thru line to get our order for pick-up. We’re not talking a quick 5 minute inconvenience. Order was ready and we were instructed to just wait in the regular drive thru line while other orders were processed. Going on 15 minutes now. Horrible customer service. Allow folks to walk up to the window to get our pick up orders.

Google
Joseph warmly greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, really made us feel welcome and even checked on us a few times while we were eating. Not at all the typical fast food experience. The food was great too!

Google
Amazing service and great customer service. The new manager is super friendly and nice. Salads are fantastic and soups so tasty..

Google
Ordered beef and cheese plain and dry and got everything on it. A month ago I ordered a beef and cheese plain and they messed it up that time too. Absolute fail. So that’s 0/2 my last two visits.

Google
I had placed an online catering order. Somehow, it didn't make it to this local Schlotzsky's store. The manager, Angie, double checked for the order then dropped everything to make me 20 small sandwiches really quickly. She was very helpful, and even though rushed, the sandwiches were as good as always.

Yelp
Drive through line is terrible! Are you telling me it should take 30 minutes to get through!!! terrible staffing and management if this is the case.

Ray R.

Yelp
Glad I only paid for the drink, and $2.69 is ridiculous. Great way to make a promotion ensure I don't go back

Jason H.

Yelp
Attention to detail has been dropping consistently this year. Along with your review score. ??? Easy way to explain it. Look at the pic. Uneven toppings, random placement and overcooked. I can throw chicken and cheese in the oven and over cook it. Apologies for the review, because I am a huge consumer, but come on Schlot's....please bring back your 'A' game!! Thanks.

Jaxon F.

Yelp
I had great experience with Lucas and he was very nice and had great service 5 star he was so fast and had a great smile

Yelp
They are really going downhill in quality. I will have to take this place off the list of edible locations in Dripping.

Marion P.

Yelp
The service was polite and quick. The pizza wasn't what I call a pizza and didn't look like picture on menu board at all. It had a light puffy crust with an outer crispness but not a pizza crust. However it was the best part. A small section of middle had a small amount of chicken accompanied by decent amount of thick avocado slices with a lightly spicy sauce. Just not a pizza. The brownie was a big disappointment. It was like slightly baked batter in crust. I took it home and baked more but couldn't get anything cake like as a result and taste was not good either. I went for a pastrami sandwich but they didn't have on menu so I assumed it was no longer an item. I won't go back.

Yelp
I enjoy a trip to Schlotkzy's every now and then for their gluten free original, it's my favorite sub sandwich to order from a restaurant. Love that it always comes with a pickle. Not the fastest at getting the order out but I've never had an issue with the staff or the food.

Beki T.

Yelp
I ordered through DoorDash gluten free crust for two pizzas, but they sent regular crust with a note that they were out of gluten free. I returned the pizza to the store, but I was told that I had to get my refund through DoorDash. I told the manager, Juan, that I order gluten free crust because I would get sick eating the regular. I am so frustrated and will not go back to this store.

Yelp
My wife ordered a chicken Caesar salad as part of her pick 2. No chicken came with it. Employee said it doesn't, but has always come with it before. I got a Turkey avocado salad, no avocado! I'll go somewhere else to eat in future.

Amy R.

Yelp
Another chain I have missed from back home that went away, so very happy to see these all over TX. We arrived right when they opened so it was fast and the girl helping us was nice. For just opening up the tables were really dirty as was the restroom. Food was okay. I used to love their sandwiches this time was kind of meh. Ordered the pastrami and Swiss, the sauce had kind of an odd taste. The broccoli cheese soup was good, but warm, not hot. The turkey avocado was okay and the kids ham and cheese was really scarce with meat. One small slice of ham. I think the last time I had these was a better time. This time was okay.

Yelp
Perhaps it's fitting that Ol' Rooster's 600th review pertains to his home turf AKA Drippin' Springs. Come to think of it; I've missed a few State of North Hays County Dining Reports this year. Well, more progress to report with our own Schlotzky's opening up this morning to a line of eager patrons. That line in fact was a give away for a free sandwich a week for a year. Line started last night around 8pm and ended up snaking around the building. Adjacent businesses threatening to tow all the cars parked for those lucky enough to claim the 100 offered cards. I personally was not among those crazies; instead waiting for lunch after the mayhem. The space was clean and inviting. Guys on laptops in suits greeted me at the door; although I don't think this will be the normal uniform. Ordering process is simple. Well stocked drink station; HDTV's for your viewing pleasure on the south side of the building. An extra 50 staffers on hand to make sure your first visit was a pleasant one. For years in restaurants I've avoided the pretzel bun. Every burger or sandwich I've ever encountered with this novelty has been fairly terrible. Picture said bun sitting in the freezer for a few months until someone FINALLY decides to order it. You then get a bun half thawed with with some grill marks leaving a overly tough exterior. Seeing that Schlotzsky's had paired up with mall favorite Auntie Annie's I decided if I could be impressed one more time. Well, both sides of the bun were flavorful and soft. IT DOES EXIST! The Beef Chief paired three cheeses, caramelized onions, and a flavorful au jus which worked well with the soft bun. One note, the onions were severely lop sided to one side of the sammich. I hope they can keep up the quality once the corporate brass leaves and have a good run in our growing Hill Country town. UPDATE: After several visits I had to knock off a star. The printed menu offers a Reuben; yet they have no sour kraut to actually make it. Can't be that hard to keep some kraut in the walk in; that stuff lasts forever!

Yelp
I've only been here a few times because it's always been disappointing. There is always a long wait, but I can get past that since everyone is having trouble hiring these days. The problem is that after the long wait, the food just isn't very good. I always order a hot sandwich, and they come out lukewarm, and the ingredients don't taste fresh. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's been consistently disappointing.

PJ R.

Yelp
This is the worst Schlotzsky's location I've ever been to. I should have known better when the lady taking my order acted like she didn't know what sauce packets are. Really? Not one thing on my order was correct. If you're going here, check your food before you leave.

Andy C.

Yelp
My wife called Sunday morning spoke with a team leader. They didn't seem to have much concern with the actions of closing early not fulfilling orders that came in the night before. They did however say they were going to issue a refund for order. As of Monday afternoon nothing was refunded. My wife called again speaking with the manager who sounded very disappointed to hear about the experience and issued a refund.

Rochelle R.

Yelp
The two young man working were very respectful and courteous. One at the register and one handing out the food. Had the angus beef and cheddar sandwich. Bread was amazing. Very soft and the sign that reads they bake it fresh...they do!! Dog friendly with outside seating.

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Visiting for the weekend and stopped by this Schlotzsky's on my way to our accommodations for the weekend . The service was great and my sandwich was delicious.

Liliana M.

Yelp
What a great sandwich! I had the original. The service was not great. It looked like the kid was preparing a big order so was rushing us AND we had never been there so it took us a sec to decide what we wanted but really not long at all but oh well. I am not going to punish this amazing sammy over one kid.

Bri S.

Yelp
Highly recommend Schlotsky's for delicious sandwiches, and this location for great service! Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Schlotsky's. My husband and I only thought it fair to share this delicious food with our wedding party on the day of our wedding to hold us over through the afternoon. Schlotsky's delivered my favorite sandwich options on time with a smile. Thank you to the team for professional service and quality food!

John V.

Yelp
Thank you Fred! Your service alone will bring me back to this Schlotzsky's location. I've worked restaurants for the past 25 years and good customer service is becoming a lost art form. Your kind courteous interaction with me coupled with your attention to detail left me feeling appreciated and well cared for. Give this a man a raise!

Karen E.

Yelp
So let me just say- I love Schlotzskys! It's just the customer service these past 2 days were disappointing. I went yesterday & the employee working the drive-thru was just flat out rude. I brushed it off, didn't think too much of it but then I come back today & she's there AGAIN. Still w/ the SAME attitude! But this time she gave me my drink SO fast, it was literally spilling due to the top not being secured, and while I was putting it in my cup holder and trying to clean it, she set my order on my window & it was like thrown at me. She apologized of course, but I mean jeez can I get a second to put my drink down?! I BARELY turned to set my drink down, like SLOW DOWN! On top of that, she wasn't even wearing gloves. Ugh, such a shame, like I said I love Schlotzskys but 2 days in a row w/ the same service? Forsure not going back again. On the plus side, their new baked tater tots are the BOMB!

Emilie N.

Yelp
i've been here multiple times and every time recently they have gotten my order completely incorrectly.

Brenda B.

Yelp
One mis-order: one worker says you ordered wrong, but then why did he give me something else? Next worker says I didn't do it, why are you even talking to me if you are passing the buck? Next call, Manager says tell us next time you are here and we can discuss, excuse me? what about dinner today, at this point there isn't going to be a next time! 3rd time this happened. I usually place blame on me or family, but this is getting ridiculous! Obviously manager and workers don't care about keeping customers! Hope owner sees this... What I got by the way was a lettuce sandwich with minuscule mayo, one slice of a small tomato and one, mind you ONE, slice of bacon. It was not the erroneously order "Turkey BLT". Really?

Diron K.

Yelp
Always great food and great service. Restaurant is always clean. Never any issues. I would recommend it to anyone who likes sandwiches and either lives, or is passing through Drippin.

Linda G.

Yelp
Stopped in Schlotzsky's Dripping Springs for the first time today after going so many times to the locations in Austin. Very poor reception by a young woman at the register....she was standing at one register, then switched to another register and did not tell us....just expected us to read her mind i guess. When I asked her why she did not tell us, she became confrontational, so i called the manager and the manager graciously apologized. We were the only people ordering in the store for a late afternoon lunch....So, my husband and I told the manager it was our first and last time to every come to that location, and walked out. The employees there need to learn some personal customer skills training....I would have given another chance to the young cashier, but her attitude was obviously one of unwillingness to learn....or respect for customers!!! Linda G., Driftwood, Texas

Dana A.

Yelp
Currently in the drive through line and the lady was pretty snarky over the intercom. She just told my husband "that's what I said" and when he wanted her attention after she gave us the total he said "ma'am?" and her response was "what??" super rude. I never write reviews but come on, just be courteous.

Paul S.

Yelp
This location is just a disappointment. Schlotzsky's became a favorite while I was in grad school in Dallas, but this location just doesn't live up to their reputation. My last 3 orders have had mistakes, but I figured they were just flukes. Today, I ordered a French dip sandwich. The pic is my dip...or lack of dip. For an $8 sandwich, this is just lazy and ridiculous. Do better if you want to keep customers.

Sherry R.

Yelp
Actually heard a female employee tell an elderly woman that "she was on break" when told that the woman almost slipped & fell from something on the floor! Where is the common sense now days???

Craig F.

Yelp
Leaving a 2-star review because they got my order wrong. Please ensure your employees knows the difference between "Angus Roast Beef & Cheese" and "Angus Beef and Provolone" (both are actual menu items on Schlotsky's website). I requested the latter (and worded it exactly that way), and instead got the former. I did check receipt to ensure accuracy, but only saw "beef and cheese" and thought that represented "Angus Beef and Provolone", but turns out it was not the item I ordered. And I did not realize this until I got back home, too late. Will have to be more diligent next time when I order. Not off to a good start for my first impression of the restaurant. Was really looking forward to trying out the Angus Beef & Provolone which I didn't receive. :(

Vic B.

Yelp
It is Schlotzky's. Not much to report on that front... However, the young lady today working out front today deserves a mention. Exceptional service, great smile and went above-and-beyond. I would hire her in a heartbeat.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Ordered a takeout dinner for the family tonight. Everything was great and fixed just like I ordered. The food was fresh tasting and I'm so glad to have this location. I've read the previous reviews, but I felt like the staff was very friendly and the young man at the register was very pleasant and efficient. I could see a male manager walking between the back and front making sure things ran well.

Blakely D.

Yelp
apparently they close at 8:57 and not 9:00! we pulled up and they turned off the oven so they could clean it. wouldn't serve us anything, and made us go away. they were incredibly rude and schlotzskys is my favorite fast food restaurant. seriously considering my decision. was looking forward to this all day. very much not schlotz better.

EJ D.

Yelp
Just had a great experience here. I needed to know the weight of the meat in their items. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful so I could make the best healthy food choices. Thanks for being so helpful!

Ernest B.

Yelp
What is the story with the sandwich bread at the Dripping Springs Schlotzsky's. This is the only Schlotzsky's in the Austin area where the bread feels and tastes either day old or over cooked. Its not as soft as other Schlotzsky's shops. So disappointing.

Lyndsey S.

Yelp
Someone please help this location. Every. Single. Visit here ends up with no napkins, missing orders, no forks for salads and just now they didn't give me my drink and shut the door on me. I waited but no one came back. Long line behind me. Wasted money. Now they don't print out a barcode on the receipts to get rewards through the app. What gives? Check your whole order. In fact, wait in line and make sure they give you napkins, forks, and everything else you need. I once had to go back inside after ordering my food at the drive thru and told them they need to pass out napkins or more will be circling back around to get some. The kid looked at me like he had no clue what I said. It happened again but without napkins and a fork. I called the location to tell them they're not passing out napkins and forks. The girl responds with, "uhhh oh. Okay. Uh". Every single time I've been, it's the teenagers not checking everything.

Leslie W.

Yelp
Pretty good food, although pricey. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Biggest complaint- trying to find a clean table. They were not very busy the two times I came here. (staff standing around.)

Mark P.

Yelp
Started off with the girl taking my order being completely inattentive and having to ask me to repeat my order to my sandwich sitting on the counter for 15 min. and delivered luke warm. Not impressed with this staff and will elect to take my lunch business elsewhere moving forward.

Jason C.

Yelp
It pains me to write this. I have worked in the food industry. I know how tasking it can be as an employee and an owner. I have done everything I know of to try to get their attention. I used to LOVE Schlotzsky's. I only go these days to appease my kids. I still wonder why I keep going back. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that can get every single order wrong I have ever placed there. If it was just for me, I wouldn't care. Have you ever tried to convince an 8 or 9 year old they need to eat their $10 sandwich even though it is never prepared properly? My son only eats meat and cheese on his sandwich. Since they have opened we have never once gotten a sandwich with meat and cheese. Today they added mustard and melted olives in the cheese. He eats just about everything in sight, but his sandwiches he is particular about. One of my daughters is lucky she only eats the cheese pizza there. My other daughter wants no olives, onions, or tomatoes. Too bad. You're getting them, because even though the receipts are usually correct, the food preparers don't care and just make it how they want. There is ZERO and I mean ZERO quality control. I try to check the order when I can, but with 5 kids and a long line in the drive thru it can be a bit unnerving making everyone wait so I can discover what today's incompetence was. I have talked to various managers or employees since they have opened. I usually get offered for them to prepare it again if I have time to come back or a replacement meal. I don't complain or ask for more. However, at this point, why would I even want a replacement sandwich? I am always surprised when they get those right (and yes I have had them screw up the replacement sandwich). If you are the owner of this franchise, please put some sort of quality control in place. Have an employee check the orders before they are dropped in the bag. Please for the kids! I am not asking for much, but when I pay $8-$10 for a sandwich over and over since you have been opened, maybe that makes me the person who needs to make a change.

Jenna M.

Yelp
Food is ok, assuming you get what you order. Have been here a few times and not once has my order been right, even when it has been read back to me correctly.

Kris C.

Yelp
Friendly service and good food. However they left our pickle spears off our sandwich meal on the first visit and on the second visit, there was no ice left in the ice machine at 1:30pm. I wish they offered the Timberline Chili on their menu...if so, they'd be the only place in Dripping to order chili! Would be a be plus!

MJ J.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner on a Tuesday at Schlotzsky's Restaurant. We both ordered the medium original Schlotzsky sandwich. My husband helped me finish my tasty sandwich. This is a new restaurant in Dripping Springs and it was quite busy on the night we arrived (at 6:00). The service was good and our sandwiches were delivered in about 5 minutes. Some people ordered pizza and salad. They looked good as well.
