It pains me to write this. I have worked in the food industry. I know how tasking it can be as an employee and an owner. I have done everything I know of to try to get their attention. I used to LOVE Schlotzsky's. I only go these days to appease my kids. I still wonder why I keep going back. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that can get every single order wrong I have ever placed there. If it was just for me, I wouldn't care. Have you ever tried to convince an 8 or 9 year old they need to eat their $10 sandwich even though it is never prepared properly? My son only eats meat and cheese on his sandwich. Since they have opened we have never once gotten a sandwich with meat and cheese. Today they added mustard and melted olives in the cheese. He eats just about everything in sight, but his sandwiches he is particular about. One of my daughters is lucky she only eats the cheese pizza there. My other daughter wants no olives, onions, or tomatoes. Too bad. You're getting them, because even though the receipts are usually correct, the food preparers don't care and just make it how they want. There is ZERO and I mean ZERO quality control. I try to check the order when I can, but with 5 kids and a long line in the drive thru it can be a bit unnerving making everyone wait so I can discover what today's incompetence was. I have talked to various managers or employees since they have opened. I usually get offered for them to prepare it again if I have time to come back or a replacement meal. I don't complain or ask for more. However, at this point, why would I even want a replacement sandwich? I am always surprised when they get those right (and yes I have had them screw up the replacement sandwich). If you are the owner of this franchise, please put some sort of quality control in place. Have an employee check the orders before they are dropped in the bag. Please for the kids! I am not asking for much, but when I pay $8-$10 for a sandwich over and over since you have been opened, maybe that makes me the person who needs to make a change.
