I arrived to Way South Food Park on an empty stomach and desperately in need of a cheeseburger. Schnitzy’s delivered. The fries and meat are well seasoned, nothing was soggy or cold despite taking my food home, and a drink came with my meal since I ordered during their lunch special hours. I don’t think I’ve ever put away a burger that quick. The kicker? 10 bucks. The gentleman running this truck is cool and for the people. He gave me the rundown of his business and elaborated on all their food options, which there are plenty of. Lovely people, fantastic food.

Stopped in for a late dinner and met the very friendly owner. He gave us a full run down on the menu. The food and service was absolutely amazing! We will be back the next time we're in the area. Definitely recommend! :)

Schnitzy's is so amazing! The food is delicious! Mike is a delight and so kind! The atmosphere is wonderful too! The music selection is amazing and the food is absolutely mouth watering! The food portions are so large you usually need someone to help finish it and it's always delicious. I adore the Gabagool and the dole whip is so nostalgic! It tastes exactly as the park's! This is not a place to pass on!

Holy crap. What a great sandwich! The flavors all go together so well. I got the Laurel and it’s such a unique and creative combo of textures and flavors that it makes for a really wonderful experience. Fries, seasoned great. And Way South Food Park is such a fun atmosphere! Definitely going to be a repeat here.

Our son took us to Schnitzy’s on Friday for our first time! This is when I got my first taste of Schnitzy’s. Today, Sunday, is our anniversary. This morning when we were trying to decide where to go, neither of us could stop thinking about Schnitzy’s and the Alohog sandwich. *We have been drooling since Friday just thinking of it!* The owner, Mike Lavender, makes you feel like family. I never could have imagined how special an anniversary dinner at a food truck park could be! Thank you Schnitzy’s for a wonderful meal full of surprises and celebration! We can’t wait to come back!

This is a bold statement, but Schnitzy’s may be the best food truck in Austin! To start, the sandwiches are insane - From the unique flavor options to the sheer size, I’ve never had a more delicious and memorable sandwich. THEY’RE SERVED IN A PIZZA BOX FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THAT’S HOW BIG AND LOADED THEY ARE. We had the Gabagool and Alohog this time around, and they both blew us away - The Gabagool gave chicken parm in the best way and had the meatiest tomatoes that we loved, while the Alohog was sweet and savory with juicy pineapple and bacon. Try to eat that schnitzel without smiling, you can’t. Then there’s the dole whip…. Mike offers up additional toppings for free, and our favorite is the coconut rum. It’s a tropical vacation in your mouth. Chef’s kiss. I’m of the opinion that eating the dole whip while you eat the schnitzel allows you to eat more schnitzel. So definitely treat yourself to a dole whip while you’re there - I ate mine so fast I didn’t have time to take a pic until it was almost gone lol. Needless to say, we quickly became raving Schnitzy’s fans and highly recommend you experience it yourself! The location is great with plenty of seating, lights, games, a stage, playground, and music. Plus BYOB!! Wins all around. GO TO SCHNITZY’S!

One of the most unique food trucks in Austin. Their portions are large and they frequently have some pretty cool deals depending on the days of the week and time of the year. Also Mike is an absolute delight, it’s awesome to see how passionate he is about the food and bringing something unique to Austin. Worth a trip, bring your friends and kids.
