Schofield’s Bar - Review - Spinningfields - Manchester - The Infatuation
"Schofield’s is anything but a casual bar. Housed in an art deco building in Spinningfields, it’s the sort of place you can trust with a martini, or anything, really. Bartenders wear white aprons and black ties, the gin fizz arrives with a hockey disc of foam, and, later, as though on cue, a server appears with a spoon so a companion can scoop up the foamy remains. The crowd—friends in band t-shirts, students, a few dates—and the incongruous Beatles-infused playlist are decidedly less fancy, but for textbook-perfect cocktail classics served impeccably, there’s no place better.
