"Over in Sodo, Schooner Exact co-founders Heather and Matt McClung have departed the business they started in 2007, while their partner from the beginning, Ray Spencer, remains the owner and operator and Joel Stickney continues in his role as head brewer. Spencer has brought on Marcus Charles (Belltown Brewing, Local 360, and more) to help oversee renovations that have temporarily closed the taproom. The space is being turned into a beer hall and lunch counter, set for a March 1 reopening." - Megan Hill

My favorite brewery in Seattle. Four great IPAs and every other beer is solid. The barrel aged stuff is always a treat. The restaurant is consistently good and is very kid friendly. The staff are all wonderful. The deck is really nice in the summer. We always eat here before Mariners games.

The beer is delicious, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. My pork tacos were greasy and mediocre, and the corn tortilla tasted vaguely of fish. My boyfriend had to send his burger back because it was nearly raw in the middle. Also, despite it not being busy at all, the service was very slow on a Saturday afternoon.

Amazing food. Delicious, fine attention to detail, obvious that the chef takes great pride in their work. They are also kids friendly, there is a kid area with toys, train tracks, and chalk paint on the tables so the kids can color and play while the parents eat. And there's a kids menu!

I'll start off with saying I love their beer, which is why I go. The menu does not have a lot of options, but the items they do have are generally good. Service can sometimes be a bit slow (if they are busy), but the staff is very personable.

Wonderful variety of beer and noms. The summer special of the Seamstress Union (a raspberry wheat ale) is particularly delicious. The pulled pork or the steak sandwiches are amazing and they have the BEST tomato soup!

My husband and I drove from Bellevue to try out this brewery/taproom and they are closed for 2 months. We were very disappointed that they did not update their website with this information. I checked the Restaurant Page and looked over the menu and Happy Hour before heading over and did not see they were closed. I just checked there site again and they mention it on the home page in tiny font BUT the Restaurant Page that I visited mentioned nothing of the restaurant being closed. I would like a Free Beer and Gas Money, Please :)

This restaurant is CLOSED. I finally convinced the family to try out schooner exact for dinner. We drove 20 minutes to find a sign on the door they are closed for 2 months. Thanks for making the entire family upset with me. Google still states they are open. I went to the website and checked the menu. No mention that they are closed. Now I'm upset!
