Schooner Pride

We had a fantastic time on the Schooner Pride in Charleston. There is nothing quite like sailing on a ship of this size. You get a feel for the water and you really get to enjoy the breeze. It is not at all like being packed in on a ferry. We had such a relaxing, enjoyable afternoon sailing. I would recommend this for all ages, but I think it’s especially great for adults to enjoy in small groups. We loved it. Thanks very much to our Captain and crew!

Had an incredible morning sailing! The vessel was beautiful and the crew was fantastic. There were plenty of comfortable spots to sit, relax, and take in the stunning views. While dolphin sightings aren’t guaranteed, it’s always a nice surprise when they appear. One of the highlights was that guests had the chance to help hoist the sails and even steer the boat. A fun and interactive touch, especially for the kids on board. Drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks were available, which added to the comfort of the trip. To top it off, I met a wonderful couple celebrating their anniversary. Overall, a pleasant and unforgettable outing.

This sailing trip was one of the highlights of our time in Charleston. We booked it as part of my wife’s birthday celebration, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The crew was super friendly and made everyone feel at ease. The boat ride itself was so peaceful, the views were beautiful, and we even got to see dolphins up close which felt really special. It was the kind of experience that makes a trip unforgettable. Highly recommend if you’re in Charleston!

It’s not really a sailing “experience” but rather a sailboat ride. If the boat is crowded, it may not be possible for your party to all sit together. The seating is quite uncomfortable, so bring your own cushion. They offer cheapy booze at high prices of course, and music from a speaker that needs some tuning. It’s a pretty view but for $75pp you really just ride out to the harbor, make a circle and go back.

Today was a great day for a sail! I wanted my kids, 17 & 20, to have a fun first sail. They enjoyed it and that it has a less hurried atmosphere. There weren’t many dolphins today but that isn’t really something that can be controlled. The crew were personable and knowledgeable. I would book with them again!

I enjoyed this! I was a bit upset that I didn’t get to see any dolphins though. I think is due to a lot of traffic going on in the harbor. Other than that it was relaxing and the staff were super nice! They kept checking on us.

Taking the Schooner Pride harbor cruise was fantastic. This tour is excellent and provides a really unique experience (lots of fun!). The atmosphere on the schooner-type sailboat was great, and we loved that passengers could assist with raising and lowering the sails—that was a major highlight. The cruise was incredibly scenic. Just being out on the water was a perfect afternoon, especially with the nice breeze. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to see some dolphins! This is a perfect experience and a highly recommended way to spend an afternoon on the water.
