Nice sail, friendly crew. Lousy company.
I booked a ticket on their website a day before our sail. We drove to the dock to make sure we knew where to park the next day.
We showed up about 30 minutes before our scheduled departure. An employee of the marina confirmed we were in the right place. Signs for the sail were still in place. 6 more people showed up. After about 10 minutes, I checked my email on my phone. I found 75 minutes prior to the departure time, I had an email from Pride announcing that the departure dock had changed to another location about a mile away. Given the long walks to parking in both locations, we ran/walked up to the boat at the scheduled departure time. We never saw the other six people.
The crew apologized and offered drinks - for which they eventually billed us.
I detailed this experience to their email address 1 week ago - crickets!
That's no way to run company. I expect on time notifications, maybe even a phone call for the change in itinerary. After the fact, I expected an official apology, and at a minimum, my drinks should have been comped.
It's hard to recommend these guys!
