Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille - Sherman

First time at this theater this past weekend. Was impressed immediately by how clean, open, and Fun this place looked. Grill, Full Bar, Arcade, Bowling Alley, and comfortable, full reclining stadium seating with trays for your food. Five Stars All The Way!

Great place for a kids birthday party! Just had my sons birthday party there today and the staff was great and very helpful.. Kaylyne went above and beyond in helping me get everything set up and making sure the kids were set up with everything they needed for a great time.. Would highly recommend for kids birthday as they have numerous packages with all kinds of fun activities for a decent price!

Nothing like spending almost $150 for tickets and food to a movie and supper with my family for us to receive cold food that was mediocre at best, missing part of our order, and it taking 45 minutes for simple bar food to be brought out in the first place. Add an extra 15 minutes for the missing food to be brought out. Not to mention a mandatory gratuity to boot. Will definitely never be back to this establishment and will make sure to share the news of this terrible experience.

Watched "A Complete Unknown" with my brother. We had the theatre to ourselves so we were singing the songs. The theatre was clean. We had to wait almost ten minutes before an employee could be found to take our order at the concession stand. The food was good though.

I just connected with Fred earlier today - he's the event coordinator - and suuuch a cool experience he's building at the Grille. My team and I were talking about having a company event and this is THE best option in Sherman. Thanks again Fred!

Service wasn’t bad unlike some of the other reviews I’ve read. The waitress seemed a bit inexperienced but was very attentive and friendly. I was disappointed they were out of the Marsala sauce but settled on a mushroom Swiss burger. The fries were very good and the burger was excellent. Hopefully your experience will be good

Went there to watch Nosferatu and they were out of popcorn. They made some but several of us missed the beginning of the movie. Also, not necessarily the fault of the theater but even though we picked our seats at time of purchase, our seats were taken and we got stuck with terrible seats due to this.

The wait staff does not execute delivery of food to guest in a timely manner, the quality of food was not equal to pricing. The manager was nice, and the facility was clean. I recommend for watching movies. However I do not recommend ordering from your seat.

This place has so much to offer, arcades, movie theater, bowling alley, it was a great place to meet up with family for an evening of fun. We played 2 hours of bowling, tried all the appetizers, and had some adult cocktails. For a group of 9 (5 kids 4 adults) it was a fantastic way to spend a Friday night! The bartender was super helpful with recommendations, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our lanes stopped working and they promptly moved us and added time to our game. The best app was the southwest egg rolls and secondly I'd recommend the cheese fries. We left feeling like we had a great time,and for the money it was well worth it.

We love this place. There are so many things to do to keep you busy - we have been multiple times for movies, bowling, etc! The movie theaters are great and always kept clean. Movie theater staff is attentive. Bowling lanes are pristine and bar staff members are great. We have been for bowling and pancakes for a special they offered and the food there was good. Have not yet been to the actual restaurant to sit down and eat but soon enough! One of our local faves!

This place has quality movie theater seats, cordial employees, clean environment and decent pricing. I haven't tried the food yet but people seem to enjoy it.

Great place to have some fun. The movie theater is comfortable and usually pretty clean. The game room has a variety of fun things to do. Bowling alley is great as well.

We ordered this for delivery tonight. it was a terrible way to spend $50. We ordered boneless unsauced wings, bacon cheeseburge, brisket quesadilla, and fried pickles. The chicken came tossed in sauce and my child couldn't eat it. The bacon cheeseburger was over cooked, dry, missing the bacon and all condiments. The brisket was tough and dry. The only thing that tasted good were the fried pickles. My whole family feels ill after eating.

Been here for movies, which is great, so we thought we would come for dinner and arcade. What a disaster! 1* Beer finally came after numerous requests after we finished dinner 4* Getting child's Mac n Cheese dish to her quickly yet the rest of the meal came so much later she was done and ready to go 2* Yet we were waiting for our food 1* My $14 fish and chips were half the size you get at Red Lobster for same price. Service was excellent everyone went out of their way to make sure everyone had a good time. The pizza, fried pickles, and coconut shrimp was good. The pretzel is huge and comes out on a pizza tray. The fish and chips was small and had a vinegar taste to it.

All the workers are friendly and the restrooms are clean. Comfortable seating and the food is good. We enjoyed playing in the arcade after a movie.

Drove 45 minutes one way to come watch a movie; but manager informed me because I was 20 minutes late and no-one else had purchased a ticket the movie was not playing. 1.5 hours of life for absolutely nothing! Unbelievable!

Great food, great service. SLOW cooks. Even the wait staff complains to the customers about it...not cool. May wanna talk with them about that. Positives: uber clean, very friendly, drink specials (definitely a must!) nice bathroom, multiple beers on tap. So... sports bar! What's the one day of the week you have extra staff? Football Sunday! Not this place. So that would be recommendation number 1. Again sports bar...people watch sports typically are part of a pot, squares, fantasy league, etc. Well, you need free WiFi. Mandatory. Please fix that (Especially before March Madness)

They sold tickets for a showing of The Blind, and then decided for some unknown reason to change theaters without bothering to make sure those customers who had already purchased tickets would be seated in their same purchased seats or reassigned to a comparable seat. Customers who purchased tickets for one specific row showed up to discover that row went from having 13 seats in it and being higher up in the theater, to now being floor level, having only 6 seats, and being the wheelchair row. A bunch of apologies and offers to refund or give vouchers to come back to another movie was their solution to customers whose purchased seats didn't even exist in this theater. The manager actually had the nerve to offer to roll office chairs down to the wheelchair spots so my family could watch the nearly 2 hour movie in uncomfortable office chairs, while the rest of the customers (many who purchased their tickets after me) would get to watch in nice recliners. It took me demanding more than a voucher or refund of my tickets to get any additional compensation. Someone needs to use some common sense and not change theaters once people have already purchased their tickets. If row D has 13 seats in theater 6 and only has 6 seats in theater 4, then you've got 7 people who will no longer have a seat and 6 who will either have to sit separately from each other (even after purchasing specific seats together) or battle over who gets the 6 seats. This was completely stupid and completely avoidable.

They must have drained the great salt lakes to make the meal we had at the murder mystery dinner on Saturday. And the London broil steaks my friends and husband ordered were like jerky. Overall, a MAJOR waste of $300, plus drinks.

So lately it has been gross. Three toilets where out of order. And stuff all over walls. I wish the staff would check if more often and that way the bathrooms would be cleaner.

The bowling alley is dark with TV screens and flashing lights everywhere. It's almost impossible to see the marks on the lanes because of the reflection of the TV screens, and all the flashing lights are a huge distraction. There were only three lanes in use at the time, but management was still unwilling to turn off the TV screen on our lane so we could focus on the game.

Love the conscience of this movie theater and seats are super comfy! Ordering food and then bringing it to you is a plus! Try the cheese sticks.

Fun for everyone Nice facility. Food is good, but a little pricey--- but, that's everywhere these days.

Shullmans is our family's go-to for a fun and safe outing. It offers so many options for kids and adults. Everytime we have been, it has upheld a clean environment. The staff has outstanding customer service and makes sure your needs are met.

Learn how to answer the phone. Tried calling for 30 minutes to ask about open lanes, for no one to answer. I show up and they tell me they can't give me a lane due to league play. Waste of my time. Poor management. Slow kitchen. Probably not coming back.

Had the privilege of visiting my local entertainment center. This was not my first visit but it was my first in a very very long while. Last time I came was now where near as satisfying or accommodating; so much so, that 1 star would have been a stretch. I am so pleased to say that was not the case this time. The food was not only more flavorful and eye appealing, it was truly hot and enjoyable. Every team member I saw had a smile on there face and appeared to be not only busy but punctual as well. One young man in particular, Lane (according to his name tag) , was so helpful and nice. Not only did he answer my questions regarding bowling and axe throwing, he also was the same young man who happened to be at the movie counter for us to redeem our movie tickets. If I didn't know any better he was a manger. He took care of or tickets, snacks/drinks, and helped his fellow team member who came and asked a question or two. After watching our awesome movie and exiting the theater section , while refilling a drink, Lane made sure to come over and ask how we liked our movie and thanked us for coming. Epic job on service!!!! and that is saying something these days, because no one seems to really care about service. Not only was theater clean, but it was so comfortable...certainly a huge step up from the other "local competition" (cough cough) ! We then went and play a few games...which I was surprised by some of the game pricing on how high they were but everything else made up for it. I almost forgot to mention another surprising factor, the restroom was nice and clean. All in all...My family and I will be back and consider this entertainment center before even leaving town in the future for family fun or even date nights. We went to the to eat at the restaurant before a movie. There were five of us and ordered nothing out of the ordinary. Three received their meal first, two orders of cheese fries and one hamburger. Twenty minutes later the fourth meal came out, boneless chicken wings. These were burnt and not edible. I ordered nachos. The sweet waitress came to tell me there was a problem in the kitchen and would I like something else. Least to say I said "no thank you", and we asked for the check. I think they have issues with their kitchen staff and management. We will not go back.

Wasn't crowded, but slow service, sticky floors, very sticky game machines. Movie was good and food was good and hot though, but place could stand to be cleaner. We went on a non busy weeknight too, and had these issues. I don't want to know what it is like with a busier movie or a weekend. So 4 stars for that. Some games didn't work, and weren't marked either, so I guess they just ate my kids' money. Employees just standing around and not cleaning or saying anything to us, but typical for times now sadly. Kids loved it, so we will return, but I don't see this place lasting if they don't up the service and experience to match the prices we paid there. I hope they do cause nothing to do in Sherman really, so it is nice to have around. But food, good and hot. Games good, but overpriced and sticky. Service, slow, absent, disinterested in jobs. Environment, ok, should've been much cleaner because it wasn't crowded. Price, average for these types of places.

We went to see The Lion King today! It was spectacular and I give it 5 stars. Shulman's has absolutely the WORST service that I've experienced in a long time. The whole 20 minutes of previews was stuck on a still Chevrolet ad while the audio portion continued on. After asking what was going on 3 times, we then had to pack up everybody and move to another theater and start all over. No offers of free movie tickets or compensation. At that point, no big deal. Then, we decided to go to the restaurant inside the complex. After about 20 minutes, drink orders were taken, then another 20 minutes, food orders. The waitress walked away before she even got everyone's order. Again, another 10-15 minutes and my son in law got someone. We ordered. About 40 minutes later, food started coming out. The ketchup bottles on the table were empty. We were waiting on ketchup as requested but none came. My son went to ask for some and they handed him an empty bottle. About 15 minutes after everyone got their food, the waitress came out to tell us that my husband's and my order were screwed up. After finally getting food, my husband's was cold. And the waitress put tea on top of his Dr. Pepper. Then came the fun of waiting for our tabs... another 35 minutes. Start to finish, we were at this stupid place for almost 5 hours for a 2 hour movie and lunch! Boo!!

We went here for the first time, NYE. Surprisingly it wasn't too busy. We bowled a few rounds. The service was wonderful from the beginning to the end. I don't like the layout. I was interested in the axe throwing before I saw the tiny space. It's an accident waiting to happen! I only ordered a beer, the others ordered cocktails they were not impressed. They were weak and not worth the high cost. Someone in our party ordered food and said it was a waste of money. Needless, to say- I'll be back for beer and bowling. Watch out for flying axes!

So much to do! More than that, the staff is amazing! I found a new favorite place! The axes with the staff. Best bar tenders ever. Headed to bowl next, then a movie at 8:30. What more could you want?!

I loved this place. The theater was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food, both type and quality were excellent. I use audio description, which describes action and visual scenes for blind people. The service was prompt and very well done. Food prices are semi reasonable $10 to $20 a meal. I will update this review with the rest of the attractions they have. I highly recommend this place for both sighted and blind visitor

If your gonna have a website probably should update it. As well as update your phone system website says open. When I called in couldn't get a real person automated system even gave me showtimes. That as well as the website. So I take the day off keep my daughter home for a surprise and get here just to find out they are not open. Now I get to have a very sad 6 year old. Wouldn't recommend!

We started our night with bowling, and it was fun... however.. we ordered a pitcher of beer, they put an empty cylinder in the middle of the pitcher so of course you get less beer. We left the bowling area and went to eat at the restaurant... it was terrible! The "server" informed us she wasn't an actual server and was a host. We ordered 2 "aomf" drinks and when they brought them to the table, I immediately knew by the color they were wrong. So we tasted them and sure enough they were wrong. I asked if they would remake them.. the "server" told me to take them to the bar and have them remake them... so I got up and went over to the bar, the bartender remade them but with an extremely horrible attitude, we also asked if we could get a beer that they only carry at that 1 bar, she told me yes. I got our drinks and took them to the table, went back to the bar for the beer and she told me that she had already called last call and we couldn't have the beer. Even tho they never called it, and it was 10 pm. We canceled our food order and paid for our drinks and left. I will never go back! The service is TRASH!

Went this past weekend for the first time...watched a movie and had our meal delivered to us before the movie even started. Afterwards, we threw some axes. The movie theater and seating was AMAZING, food was alright, axe throwing was AWESOME! The gentleman that ran the axe throwing area was fantastic...friendly, funny, and a great coach.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Don't waste your money here... go to HeyDay. We went bowling and after spending nearly 20 minutes trying to get our lane to initially work, we were then shuffled to two different lanes just to find one that would work. The one we ended up at kept having glitches throughout the whole one hour we were there. We then proceeded to go eat at their restaurant (Billy's grill) and waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to greet us. I got up and asked the bartender, that was close to us, if we had to order at the bar or if we had a waitress. He then told a waitress to go find who was taking care of our table. We waited another 10 minutes with multiple wait staff passing our table and no one came to take our order. Absolute terrible place and absolutely terrible service. We will not be coming back here again. It's a waist of time.

Horrible service, food came before being seated, missing kids meal had to chase it down myself paid cash and tipped for no service.

Came to Schulman's for their Tuesday free summer movie and lunch today. The food was amazing. I ordered the extreme meat pizza and had a side of onion rings. Super friendly and great service. Checking out the arcade too this place has so much to do. Really new and fun environment!

Ordered ​their turkey, avocado, BLT... no tomato, no bacon, and you'd be hard pressed to find any avocado. That coupled with no mayo made for two pieces of white bread​, some iceberg​​ lettuce​, and the thinnest slice of cheese and turkey in town. Thankfully, there was some mustard on the table. (Ketchup bottle on the table was empty.) $9.00 (Included fries which were fine.) Linda ordered a ​personal pizza... Total lunch for two with tip $28.00 We both agreed we wouldn't return. Service was very good (Amy) and while I should have complained about the food I'd be nervous eating something that had been sent back to the kitchen. They may want to filter the water... drinks tasted nasty.

Took the family out bowling for Valentines. The online reservation was super easy and convenient. Walked in a little early and they were able to let us start bowling early. We were escorted to the lane and the area was clean and cozy. I pressed the button for food/drink service and we were told someone would be with us immediately. We began play and 25 minutes later, still no server. I went out and found someone and they said they would send a server....10 minutes later someone else came by and checked on us and we said we were still waiting on a server. Finally, a server came by and said there's only 2 of them for the bowling alley. Managers should have staffed properly or pitched in to help their servers. Ordered food for 4 people and only got 3 meals. My daughter asked for ketchup...I asked for ketchup and no ketchup was ever brought out. Simple solution, leave ketchup on the ketchup on the tables. I asked where my calzone was and she said let me check on that....she came back and told me the oven was off track and was burning the tops of the calzones. You couldn't tell me this before?!?!? So perhaps I could change my order instead of wondering where my food was. I told her nevermind...take the calzone off of my bill, we paid and left. The bowling was fine...the food/drink service was extremely disappointing. I really wanted to like this place and unsure if I will return to spend $100 again.

I went to MBG's to get dinner to go on 12/21/2021. Walked into the restaurant and told the hostess I was going sit at the bar and place an order to go. After 15 minutes, I still had not been waited on nor did I ever see a bartender. I walked back to the hostess and asked if there was someone working at the bar and she said "oh you need a bartender". What I wanted to say is - that's why I told you when I walked in that I was going to place an order to go at the bar, but all I said was no and went to the smaller bar. It did not quite take 15 minutes to get waited on, just 10. I order a draught beer and asked for a menu. I decided on 8 boneless wings and a side salad. As 30 minutes passed, I asked the bartender if he could check on my meal. He was gone for about 10 minutes and brought it out. I opened it to make sure it was correct and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the the boneless wings. They were so small, several about the size of a quail egg. I asked to speak to a manager and when she finally showed up all she said was sorry and walked away. I happened to see someone that I knew worked there - Ashley (she was not working on this day) and asked her to take a look. She said that is unacceptable and got another manager. He wasn't much better than the first one but offered to give me a free movie pass - really?? I told them that I would not be returning, but Ashley asked me to come back on a day she was working and she would make it right. If I do go back, it will be because of Ashley, not the management.

The restaurant has the best cheese sticks I've ever eaten. Our server is also courteous and on point. We have been here once before and enjoyed the theater and game room as well. I'm surprised this place is not packed out.

I understand they have only been open for a couple of weeks, so they are probably still trying to get staffed up and overcome some training issues. Even with this in mind, the restaurant part of our visit was a big disappointment. We waited over an hour after placing our order to get our food. The tables around us were all upset at how long it was taking them. I saw one guy get up and complain to the manager saying that no one has came by to get his drink orders. The waitress came by to get his drinks and asked the table next to him if anyone has helped them. The answer was no. The cheese sticks, kids pizza and chicken fried steak all seemed to be pretty good but the calzone was burnt on the outside. The inside was supposed to be beef and mozzarella but the beef was ground beef with taco seasoning. It tasted like it should have been on nachos or a taco salad, not stuffed in a calzone. We told our waitress to give our dessert to another table because we told her what we wanted when we ordered our entrees and we didnt want to wait another hour. I still tipped her good because she tried and it was not her fault the kitchen took so long. There was a wait for bowling but they gave us a pager so we could play in the arcade while we waited. The bowling experience was fun. The staff behind the counter were very new and seemed confused. I asked for 30 minutes for 3 of us because I didnt know how our 2 kids would like it. They charged me for an hour. No big deal. When I was at Pinstack last, they had a wait staff that came to our group to take drink orders. We never had anyone visit us to take drink orders. The kids had a blast though. I dont want to give up on this place. I think it is great that Sherman has a place like this now we can go to. I just hope that the staff gets trained better. Have not watched a movie here yet but will update my review when I do.

My kids and I love this place. They always have friendly staff and deals to save you money. Try the obstacle course and VR games they are fun for the kids and adults. The movie theatre is terrific and the seats are extremely comfortable.

This place is horrible if you have little kids! The food takes forever is over priced and is super greasy. The customer service is horrible and they acted like we were bugging them every time we asked for something. But worse was the management. We tried to pay for bowling but had to wait because the manager left a guy up there by himself and the guy didn't have a long in. Then we had to wait even longer on our food because the manager wouldn't get off the computer so the girl could put in our food. Also they water down the drinks. It's just not worth the money.

SECOND TIME HERE: and still HORRIBLE customer service!! Six people standing behind the counter and no one willing to help. If my son didn't want to come here to bowl, we would never have come back. Do not go here!

Grand opening was a grand flop. Games are way to expensive and the ropes course was a 2 minute joke. Don't get yourself excited about the bar and grill. After telling the hostess that we would wait at the bar she "forgets" about us. Must be a common practice as the bartender "forgets" i ordered a drink. And the waitress well she forgets that we ordered and drinks or chips and queso. Thank goodness the manager comes and took our food order. A little funny for you though. The table next to us complained about not getting to order any food. So our waitress come to our table puzzled and said well i thought my manager took your food order? Looking at her in complete and utter pity told her nope that the table next to us is the ones complaining. Lol i don't believe we will return.

What a big disappointment. My wife' s Taco salad had wilted lettuce. Fries were less than spectacular. Asked about the Wi-Fi, and was told even employees were not allowed access. They had Thress secure sites, plus two open sites. Management better get their act together real soon. As of now, I will not be returning.

My kids love coming here for the arcade . We have eaten at the restaurant a few times and its been very good . Movie theater is clean and comfortable . I like that you order at ticket booth and eat in theater. Staff is friendly and it's ice to have this in a Sherman .

I want to like it. Went bowling had fun but the food service was slow and rude. The bar area only had one bartender on a Friday night. Maybe they just need to hire more people. Haven't been to the movies or the restaurant

We love taking our 4 kids here. They have fun games, virtual reality, axe throwing, bowling etc. The seats in their movie theatre are very comfortable. We always take advantage of ordering dinner while we watch the movie. Highly recommend.
