Where to Find Nashville Hot Chicken in San Diego - Eater San Diego

"Southern classics reign over the menu but for Nashville hot chicken, you’ll find it in sandwich form. Available in spicy or “hot as hell,” each chicken piece is marinated in the the restaurant’s four-pepper brine and hand-breaded." - Darlene Horn

This place is great! Really fresh ingredients. The chicken slider was flavorful and crispy. We also really loved the pulled pork slider. The bbq sauce is so yummy! We only waited about 20 min for our to go order and ate across the street at the bar. We also had the herb salad and Cajun fries! I really have no complaints. Food was amazing and the gal working the desk was polite and friendly. Will definitely be eating here again.

From the outside this place is not impressive. From the inside, it’s also not impressive. However, the high quality of flavors in the food and salad dressings are comparable to many high end restaurants. This is a great little hole in the wall restaurant and I had to fight off the many flies while we sat outside. But for some reason I could deal with it because the food was so good. I ordered the crispy chicken salad, the pulled pork bbq sandwich and my friend got the Nashville chicken with tater tots and biscuit. The biscuit was so good I ordered 4 togo for $2 each. Wow, I just love the food. It’s not a place to take a date but a great place to meet with friends after a surf session or workout. I would go back to try the açaí bowls and smoothies on a hot day.

Perfect place to customize a meal with authentic flavor and dine outside on charming patio. We went twice it was so good while on vacation last week. Easy to select one or two sliders for light meal or add sides such as Mac & cheese or fresh warm beignets. The pulled pork and the bacon burger slider were my top 2 off the slider menu. Much to choose from at reasonable prices.

Wonderful food. Only outdoor seating and carry out due to covid. No liquor there but we were able to get beers at the liquor store next door. We ate on the patio next to the fireplace.

Cute little place for breakfast…We were going to eat at the outside patio but parking was nonexistent so I went in and ordered and my co-partner circled the block numerous times no luck on parking…ended up taking it with us to eat.

So yummy 🤤. Sweet and sticky chicken was was both and very good, and the chicken sandwich was huge and tasty with great spicy breading. There was a small mistake with the order because I wanted to try the ribs and they were already sold out and didn't realize it when I ordered. When they did realize it they not only brought me some of the pulled pork and brisket to try (which were both great) but they even brought us some beignets for dessert. They went above and beyond what was needed to make us happy and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

One of the best Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches I’ve had - I wish they were open at lunch so we could eat there again tomorrow. My wife ordered the nachos - amazing crispy tortillas, smoky beans, Gouda cheese sauce and delicious brisket - one of the best we’ve ever had. The chef and server were so nice and helpful. Great new place. This is a smaller, new restaurant, it’s going to take a little time to get your food. It’s not a fast food place. We didn’t wait long - but it was worth it!

The pulled pork nachos were delicious and we loved their homemade chips. The fried chicken tenders were really good; the Mac Daddy chicken sandwich was huge and it was good, but we thought the Basic Chick was better with the house sauce and the pickles - it was really yummy. All of the chicken had the same breading and it was crunchy and delicious. The mac and cheese was yummy too. The only let downs were the fries that came with the two chicken sandwiches. I know that fries don't do well in takeout, but these likely wouldn't have been good even fresh. Soggy and tasteless. Maybe upgrade to the waffle fries if you can? And the peach cobbler was dry and not super flavorful. But we are already planning to go back for the chicken and the nachos!
