Scoffs Grill

We had a really nice meal here. I ordered the wings with rice and my partner had the mixed chicken shish and doner with rice. Both dishes were very tasty and cooked really well. The bread was very soft and had a lovely flavour. The salad and condiments were fresh and complemented the meal nicely. Overall, everything tasted great and we really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely come back again.

Top two and it’s not two ~ Hands down the best Turkish restaurant in Hackney! Fresh quality food and staff who clearly take pride in the place. It’s me and my partner’s go to spot, we love the mixed shish platter. ( the toilets are always spotless too which says a lot about a restaurant) A local gem for sure

This was the best Turkish food I’ve had in london! We had a sharing platter and added the lamb chops. Juicy, fresh, delicious. Will definitely come again ✨

Nothing special but good enough to come back. We wanted a Turkish dinner and went to this one next to us. Food was well prepared and fresh. They were preparing loads of online orders so that’s a good sign. Got a complimentary hummus and pita bread. Halloumi was pretty cool as well as the salad and the chicken. Turkish pizza was really good as well. Price was good, around £20 each of us. Atmosphere was pretty good and service was great.

I love coming here and will keep coming back - both for eating in and take-out. It's such a lovely energy in there, maybe a family run grill? The vegetarian Sebzeli Kebab is amazing, and very generous portions with lots of sides included

Not recommended. We arrived at 10:15pm on a Saturday evening, with the restaurant closing at 11pm. The place was almost empty, with only one other customer eating, yet we were told it was takeaway only. As we’re not local, we had no choice but to leave with the food and then find somewhere else to sit and eat. By the time we did, the food had gone cold. The customer service was very unwelcoming and rude. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to others.

Found this by chance as it doesn’t like like much from outside… but the food is WOW!! The attention to the detail with the balances spices and herbs is exceptional. The mixed grill is super good. Highly recommended.

We had an early dinner at Scoffs. The food was spot on with delicious grilled meats and really fresh salads. They provided complimentary flat bread plus yogurt dip and grilled onion salad which was a nice surprise! Very friendly and attentive staff too. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
