We worked with Scoops2U to elevate dessert time at our wedding and it was a hit! Communication was clear, pricing was reasonable, and I was able to have 6 preselected flavors. On the day of, they were on time, set up in the correct designated spot, and they worked to serve a large group of people despite the loud music. The majority of our guests opted to get ice cream and were able to do so in the time slot we arranged. I personally tried the seasonal pumpkin flavor and it was a good sized scoop, smooth, and creamy. I would work with Scoops2U for future events.

We recently participated in an ice cream social event sponsored by Presidential Tower building management, and it was incredibly well received. Michael was extremely polite and professional. We really appreciate these types of pop-up events—they’re a great morale boost. We’ve mostly worked with Scoop2u for our Ice-cream events social, but we decided to try their Halloween package, and we are more than satisfied — especially with Sam, who was an incredible host. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing what other activities they will offer, and we will certainly continue working with them.

I really enjoyed working with SCOOPS2U. The ice cream truck came early to ensure they were set up on time and all the children at my event loved it. Staff was polite and friendly. The best part was working with Zach. He was super easy to communicate and coordinate logistics with. Absolute stand up guy. If you are reading this. Zach is faster than you on a motorcycle.

Well, this was an unexpected delight! I was provided an ice cream voucher after donating blood to the Red Cross, and the ice cream was in a food truck outside the building where the blood was drawn. I rushed to the ice cream truck as soon as I was done giving blood, dangerous but true. I scanned the flavors and was stuck between the raspberry and strawberry shortcake. The helpful employee pointed out to me he could do more than one flavor, so I opted for mostly raspberry with a pinch of the strawberry shortcake. This ice cream was quite good, and I wish I'd asked for a little more of the strawberry shortcake. Something to keep in mind next time I donate, and Scoops2U is invited. Great visit!

We had an ice cream social with Scoops2U at one of the buildings along Walker Lane in Alexandria VA today. I'm lactose intolerant but this ice cream didn't bother me at all! The ice cream was delicious the service was so happy, and it was a nice break to see such pleasantness amid the business ambience. Thank you, TJ for the lovely break and pleasant conversation. Two treats in one. Awesome!

The ice cream was catered to my work. The ice cream carts looked clean and in good condition. The service from Scoops 2 U was the first thing I noticed. The employee that helped me was friendly and bright with a smile. He worked quickly and wished me well. I received two scoops: cookies & cream and butter pecan. The cookies and cream was very flavorful with a good mix of cream and cookies. The butter pecan had a good amount of pecans in it, however, the flavor was a little bland of the ice cream itself.

My husband was outside of our home with our kids skateboarding and biking when Scoops2U truck drove into our neighborhood on Tuesday May 26th, 2020, around 4:30-5:00 PM. My 14-year-old son purchased ice cream that was supposed to be nut-free from their truck. Turns out that it did contain nuts, which my son is allergic to. My son had a major allergic reaction, threw up, and we had to call Poison Control & his doctor, and sit in the parking lot of the Fair Oaks Hospital until 11:00 PM per his doctor's advise in case his condition worsened. Then, we had to have a teleconference with his doctor the next day to make sure he was doing well. He is scheduled to visit his allergist. Thank God, he survived this horrific event! What was the response from Scoops2U owner & manager? "Thanks for letting us know because you found our COMPANY'S BLIND SPOT!" REALLY? My son could have died from this and you call it your company's blind spot? These people are DANGEROUS and should be investigated.

What a fantastic experience! We wanted something different, easy and fun for a classroom full of kids. Zach explained all of our options and pricing. It was easy to book! I appreciated the "we'll be on location in 15 minutes call" and our host, Abe could not have been nicer and more patient with kids running around on the hottest day of the year. It was every child's thrill to order what they wanted from their personal ice cream truck. A huge thank you to Scoops2u for making the end of a very long school year during a pandemic delightful! It was difficult to keep track of all the kids and orders and much to my pleasant surprise, Scoops worked with me on this. They are an honest and trustworthy business! It is my pleasure to support such great people and I will continue to do so in the future!

Excellent customer service! Before our event, the team was prompt, pleasant and professional. Right before, we had an issue with the county and Zach was right there in our corner - incredibly helpful and responsive! On the day of the event, the truck was early so they could set up right on time and the attendant was friendly, diligent and professional. And, the ice cream was great! Still frozen on a hot Maryland Saturday and absolutely delicious! It was a treat that everyone loved!! We will definitely hire Scoops2U again!!

Scoops 2 U is an amazing service! Ice cream pool party was a huge hit because of Scoops 2 U. Abe was wonderful, arrived early and communicated well. Definitely can't wait for the next ice cream event!

Jim Cosler and his Scoops 2U crews have been a staple ice cream vendor for many community events for Years. They have a customer for life. The products are excellent, customer service the best -- the crews on site professional and fun. And who doesn't like ice cream? We generally have individual sundaes with a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from -- as well as many toppings. The lines never stop. They have helped us with community events ranging from 50 to over 1,000 and never fell short. I cannot say enough good things about Scoops 2U. We love them -- and highly recommend them. Came to an event I attended and ice cream was simply delicious! Definitely a taste of difference compared to the ice cream from Baskin Robbins, these guys made ice cream taste so damn tasty! The ice cream really tastes like real milk! Not that nasty hormonal infested crap! :D I tried the cookie dough and the Jack Daniels chocolate both were delicious but I enjoyed that kick the JD gave to the chocolate a bit more! Cookie dough was tasty as well but if your one for something rich and flavorful the JD chocolate flavor may be more for you! Mango sorbet also was very yummy and tastes like really mangos so if your looking for a healthier option go with the mango flavor! Nice service the owner was great and took me back to the old ice cream truck days of being a kid! Recommend you try it for your next party/event or just a nice cold treat!

It's really tricky to find something special while planning a 13 year old birthday party in a wild weather month in February during a pandemic. Our daughter was zoomed out and preferred to see a couple of friends outside in a gazebo and have an ice cream truck visit. We were so relieved to find Scoops2U. they were professional, punctual and made the occasion special for our daughter by even throwing in customized cookies with her name on them. The girls loved their customized sundaes. It was a huge hit and we felt like the cost was really reasonable! We live in Old Town Alexandria and had planned to use the frozen custard truck that's a new business and operates out of our neighborhood but they acted like the supermodels of the 90's who didn't get out of bed for less than $100, 000 a day. Scoops2U was wonderful to work with and delicious! Thanks for everything guys!!!

Scoops 2 U came to my work building for an event. They are a catering ice cream company so they do not have a store. The staff was friendly and fun and the ice cream for great. They had 6 flavors for us to choose from and many toppings for us to add on. I don't know their pricing but if your work ever has a social gathering I would recommend hiring Scoops 2 U. Mint chocolate and cookies n cream were my favorite flavors.

Scoops 2 U showed up at a company function and I felt like a big kid. Of course they have the standard ice cream sandwich and chocolate eclairs. They weren't any brands I was familiar with, but who cares? A nice man in a truck drove to me and handed me ice cream. How can I complain about that? I would definitely call upon their services if I had an event.

I was so happy to see this adorable truck coming down our street. My kids were thrilled and the driver he was so friendly and made my kids feel so special. They had milk free popsicles for my son he was very happy. My daughter had a minion ice cream pop and she loved it. Next time I will have to try their gourmet ice cream I'm excited.

Very rude. Trying to secure for an event and they offered zero flexibility and acted as though new business was a bother for them. They canceled and told me to research an outdated list for options. Very disappointing.

Scoops 2 U came into my office in MD for a mid-day treat. Not only were the employees great but the ice cream was amaaaaazing. Think slow churned ice cream that you'd get in the middle of nowhere and the milk is coming straight from the cow. Delish. Also, they don't skimp on the cookie dough in the cookie dough ice cream. Definitely recommend for a treat or for an office party!

After a busy morning at work, I decided to treat myself to some ice cream at this truck. I got the strawberry cheesecake with brownie cookies and definitely enjoyed it as a good treat. However, I would probably have preferred slightly "softer" ice cream, and a lighter cookie, although that is just my opinion. The ice cream itself was yummy, but nothing to be too excited about. However, those warm cookies were really very delicious, and they give you a portion that you can definitely share. A quick update on the menu of this this truck, they now offer 6-7 ice cream flavors, and more cookie flavors too. I would definitely recommend this truck for a treat, but it isn't mind blowing...

These guys came into my office one afternoon for a tenant-appreciation type event. Since the cost was free to me, I can't really speak on that aspect of the service, but let me talk about the ice cream: In short, it was really good. The flavor selection was a little strange (vanilla, chocolate, peanut buttercup, birthday cake, lemon sorbet, ect.) so I went with trusty vanilla. Speckles of vanilla bean were visible in the ice cream and the texture was rich and yolky (in a good ice cream kind of way). This wasn't the cheap five gallon bucket stuff. Two ice cream scoops were served with a smile in a hefty bowl with a large fudge brownie on the side. A chocolate chip cookie was also an option. I finished it off with chocolate, caramel sauce and strawberry topping. An hour later I had a tummy-ache. But I don't regret it. Not a bit.

My office has had Scoops2U cater our employee appreciation week 2 years in a row, and I've got to say, this is definitely been the highlight of both years. I've gotten the chipwich twice with cookies & cream ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. The texture of the ice cream was perfect! Reminds me of that sort of creamy and not too hard texture that dairy farm ice cream tastes likes. I like how the cookies that encased the ice cream were hard and cold, so that they wouldn't melt my ice cream too quickly. I just ate the ice cream first with a spoon and ate each cookie individually because I wanted to savor it! It was like having 3 desserts in one sitting~ I had the pleasure if having their ice cream again at a Yelp Event and was blown away by the creative flavors (my work was lame and skimped on the cool stuff). I got to try their mango sorbet, kahlua, and jack daniels chocolate and all were awesome. I hope to catch this truck again!

Scoops2U offers quality ice cream and a VERY friendly staff. Their overall service is wonderful! We, a property management group in Washington, DC, used Scoop2U to hold 4 ice cream socials over a 2-day span--not a problem for them... They came with plenty of associates, had no trouble setting up, and they didn't destroy our buildings' walls or elevators in the process. Our tenants are still raving about the ice cream and their brief interactions with the station attendants. This is our second year using Scoops2U, and we plan to use them again in the future.

They catered an event at my apartment building and had a select number of flavors and toppings. We were able to choose 2 scoops from Mint Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Chocolate, Butter Pecan and Raspberry Sorbet. Toppings included oreos, peanuts, m&ms, strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel. The ice cream was nothing to rave about - tasted a lot like what you buy at the grocery store. I got the mint and raspberry but didn't end up eating the sorbet because it tasted freezer burned! The toppings were nice, but unfortunately the oreos were stale. All in all a nice treat, but you can get much better ice cream elsewhere. Good for parties where you want things simple for an ice cream sundae treat but if you are an ice cream enthusiast look elsewhere.

I had wanted to surprise my son and his classmates to a special sweet treats. And I thought, I was charged a lot for what the children received. Two boxes of ice creams and delivery over a hundred $. A little outrageous- in my opinion. If I'm going to do that might as well go bigger and the truck.

We just finished our first event with Scoops 2 U. We had a visit from the ice cream truck to end our employee appreciation week. Jeff was so great to work with, and was so nice to me when I sent him multiple, confusing emails in a row! Will and Bill showed up 30 minutes early and were amazing to work with. They were great when we had a last minute parking switch. Everyone loved the visit - we will be sure to schedule another visit with Scoops 2 U!

Scoops2U came to my office for a corporate event and did a great job! Ice cream is always a big hit in this office. Booking was quick and easy, and the pricing was very reasonable. The attendant was very friendly and did a quick/efficient job setting up and cleaning up. Best part was that they offered sugar-free ice cream flavors (mint chocolate chip being my favorite!!), and seeing as this was an event for juvenile diabetes - it was a great option to have!

The best moose tracks ice cream I can remember tasting! They have sugar free options and all of your standard ice cream favorites. Great customer service and delicious dessert, you can't go wrong! HIGHLY recommended

I used Scoops2U as a treat for our teachers during kick-off week. What a nice way to provide our teachers with some time to socialize together and no better way than over ice cream. Our driver, Will, did a great job and it was such a hit. Thanks to Scoops2U and our driver Will. The owner Jeff is a phenomenal business person and regularly communicated with me leading up to the event. We will definitely use them again!

They did an amazing job serving ice cream sundaes at my event this past weekend and they're ice cream is delicious. It's always a great experience from start to finish. More than highly recommended!! I stopped by this truck after I was frustrated by my failure to get any free frozen Ben & Jerry's frozen Greek yogurt, and this place was much better alternative! I tried one of their cookie cones, which is basically a cookie shaped into an ice cream cone -- genius! -- and then had a scoop of ice cream on top. They have several different cookie cone alternatives, I had the M&M cookie one, and it was great! This is such a great idea that I haven't seen offered anywhere else. I believe they also had 10 or so choices of ice cream flavors.

If I could give them 1/2 a star I would. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR ICE CREAM EVENTS OR SUPPLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE NOT DEPENDABLE OR RELIABLE!!!!!!! I placed an order for a cart starting on Tuesday, August 27 - the assistant said she would send me the order via email. When I didn't receive the order by Thursday morning, I called back. I spoke with the assistant again and told her that I had not received the order. She said she would send it. Still didn't receive it. On Friday morning I called back and informed her I didnt receive the order and she assured me she would send it. Didn't receive it by 12:45p. I called (again) to let her know. She said she hadn't sent it yet but will do so before the end of day. Close to 5p - I received an email from the assistant at Scoops 2 u that read: Kimberly, Thanks for being so patient with us this week. I wanted to get a better feel from my manager about the availability for the cart next week. After speaking with him, it seems that we are unable to fit it into our delivery schedule. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to work with you in the near future. Thanks! What the hell!!!!! Scoops 2 u has wasted 4 days of my time and waited until the 10th hour to tell me they were not able to provide me with a cart. Contacting the manager was even worse. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS BUSINESS for your ice cream treats or supplies.

Scoops came by my office in DC earlier this month and it was so much fun! They set up so fast and were very professional and friendly! Who doesn't love free ice cream and what a great way to spend my lunch hour! They even had hot fudge and lots of different toppings on the table. Everyone in the office wishes we did this every month! :)

This guy is horrible!!!! He cancelled on us 5 minutes before the end of the day before the day of our company "ice cream social" He also told us hat he "did us a favor" letting us know the day before service! Then the "sweet" man told us we wouldn't get a discount if we ended up using them for another date. HORRIBLE!!! Never use them. They have put me in a really bad position with my employees who have been looking forward to ice cream on a 90 degree day.

My office had Scoops2U cater an appreciation event recently. There were two carts which was nice considering there were so many people lined up! The flavors offered were chocolate, coconut, mint, raspberry sorbet, strawberry cheesecake, and vanilla. The toppings included brownies, pound cake (?), m&ms, chopped peanuts, and sprinkles. I tried the raspberry sorbet and strawberry cheesecake and they were both delicious. The raspberry sorbet reminded me of gelato and the strawberry cheesecake had little cheesecake pieces inside! However, I wish there were more variety with toppings. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic which was appreciated.

I love the ice cream catering service here. The ice cream is great and the packaging is perfect for keeping ice cream freeze. Customer service is courtesy. I definitely will use their service again.

UPDATE to my previous review: Jim, the owner, contacted me via email to address my concern about being charged for delivery and tip without being informed about those charges in advance. He refunded both and also issued a credit for future orders. I really appreciate this kind of responsiveness from a business. Go Scoops2U!

We hired Scoops 2 U for our daughter's graduation party and it was definitely a hit! They were very responsive and professional, showed up right on time, and the ice cream was delicious, beyond my expectations (the flavors that we chose to offer during the party were chocolate brownie, birthday cake, strawberry cheesecake, and mint chocolate chip).

I attempted to schedule this company for an event at work and I was COMPLETELY offended by the treatment we received. First, we were told that our date was available so we attempted to book it. Then, we received the shortest email known to man that just said "We're booked." When I inquired further, I was told that they were unavailable for that day. OK, not a problem. These things happen. But the very next day, I got an invoice for the event. I called for some clarification and the rep consulted with his boss and then told me, and I kid you not here, that they would appreciate some flexibility on my part as they liked to keep date available for larger events. A couple things to note: I was calling four weeks in advance. Apparently they wanted me to call four days in advance. Yeah, no. Also important: in this economy ICE CREAM is one of the first things to go. All events should be treated as equal in my humble opinion. Here's the kicker: the day of my event, I get a phone call to "schedule delivery." I of course tell them that I was never booked and don't intend to pay them a cent for coming. I also told the rep who called me about my previous situation and, I kid you not, he LIT into me explaining away the entire debacle and even told me that I was wrong to feel the way I did. The customer is always right? Not with Scoops2U. Think long and hard before hiring them.

Thank Scoops 2 U for making my Cub Scout Pack meeting memorable. We surprised the kids with an end of meeting treat. They were so thrilled they were shrieking and yelling with delight. It was a lot of fun and brought so much happiness to the children. Thank you again for supporting the Cub Scouts. We will be calling you again for another meeting in the future. I hired Scoops2U to visit my workplace various times throughout the summer last year. Each time we hired them, they arrived late (sometimes even as much as 45 minutes late). They also ran out of cups, failed to even bring cones, and were really just unprepared. When I contacted them to terminate our business together, I never received an apology for their failure to perform at a professional level.

My company had Scoops 2 U at our office and I was really impressed at how delicious the ice cream was! Yum!

We called Scoops 2 U with a huge last minute request and they made it happen! Over 300 ice cream bars onsite in less than 20 minutes. IT WAS AMAZING! It's hard to come by service like this these days, thank you for making our afternoon!!

Saw this cart at one of our school functions. What a great idea...so I thought. One star is too many! Ordered a cart for my daughters June 2015 HS Grad Appreciation Picnic. This was supposed to be a surprise for her and dessert for family and friends after the meal. I raved about this company and my plans to use them for future events. I was told that I had to pick up my cart (due to it being the small cart, they don't deliver it.) No problem. I arrived at 9. No one there. I am knocking on the door, the door on the dock and I called their number leaving messages on as many extensions as possible. (No emergency contact number.) No call back by 10:00 a.m. I left at 10:00 to pick up food to drop off at my home, then rushed to train station and airport to pick up guests. By 11:00, I still hadn't heard from anyone. I am now behind schedule for setting up. I receive a return call from someone at Scoops 2 U around 11:30-11:45. He stated that he received my message and that I could come back to pick up the cart. I replied that I was on my way to the airport- Thurgood Marshall - 50 min. away from picnic location and you are 30 minutes the opposite direction from the picnic location. He said that they would send someone out. I said great, the event starts at 1:00. I told him repeatedly that this was our dessert. I currently have no back up plan! ITS NOW AUGUST...NO CART WAS DELIVERED, AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SCOOPS 2 U! They had no problem contacting me in reference to my initial inquiry, order, credit card information, or follow up to remind me of my rental. No, they didn't charge my card. This was not handled well at all-no follow up from the company, no apology, and no recourse. By the way, we ended up purchasing cookies and cupcakes at the very last minute.

Scoops2u is my favorite thing ever!!! The guys (I apologize for not knowing their names) who came to our school were awesome! They helped set up the event, giving great advice to keep the crowd flowing. I don't think we were the easiest of clients as our ceremony ran late making the ice cream portion tight on time. The gentlemen were very efficient and everyone went home happy. The ice cream was delicious, and I'm kind of an "ice cream snob", so that's saying a lot. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was kind, patient, courteous and professional. Top notch from start to finish! Thank you so much!

We have worked with Scoops2U for several office functions and have been thrilled with their service. They host sundae bars and you can rent an icecream cart for your office. They add a lot of fun to office events.

Very disappointing customer service experience. We had 3 ice cream socials planned using their ice cream cart service. First the delivery times they offered were very inconvenient, and didn't coordinate with the times we had given a couple weeks prior for our events. Then upon arrival at the first two events they forgot to leave napkins and the chocolate and caramel sauces that were supposed to be included per our contract. Our final event was a real disaster with no table left to put sundae toppings on, and instead of the two flavors of ice cream as requested we got two tubs of one flavor. Seemed like a great company when signing the contract and submitting payment, but on actual event day the service was awful. Would not recommend!

Our firm had an Oscar party and Scoops 2 U provided the hot dogs & popcorn. It was a huge success! Thay are very professiona and reliable and provide delicious treats! Very reasonably priced as well.
