I've been here 4 times now and every time I come by they still give me great service. You have the option to drive up or come in but either way you're getting the quality product(because they have quality products at a good price)and great service. I wish you the best year my friend.

Literally THE BEST liquor store in Denver!! Beer, champagne, seltzers, tall cans, liquors on the wall, and wine! Wine selection is not that big if you’re a wino but they got options! Daniel and Danny are rad, please go support them!! (Paul’s is down the street and it feels weird in there and the dude behind the counter made me feel kinda gross all over by the way he was looking at and taking to me. No thanks.) Daniel and Danny are respectful, keep a clean store, and always got the jams bumping!! 🎶🎶 Support local liquor over big chain! The appreciate it and absolutely deserve your business.

Drive through 👌🏾 It's a small place so obvi not a huge selection, but prices are average. Close to downtown, but also right on the fax next to a bus stop so always lots of people asking for money. The guy who runs the place is nice.

WARM BEER! If you want to drink your beer shortly after purchasing do not go here. Never experienced a warmer cooler.

Recently sold to a chain. I knew something was up when I went in there and didn't know anyone working. Very disappointed bc I prefer to support local business. I'll continue you shop here as needed to support the original staff. I am very friendly and I said hello I don't know you! His response was I am worker? Enough said this used to my favorite place!!!!

Did the drive through yesterday. Guy at the window takes my order. I was on the phone with a friend at the time who confirmed he heard me say..... "Two Modelo Cheladas and one Sol Chelada with two peach Deep Eddy shooters". Man said no peach so I changed it to grapefruit. He comes back and says $18.42. I gave him my card and said wow that's pricey. Why so much? He said 4 beers and two shooters. I said I only ordered three beers. He in wouldn't refund me and said take it or leave it. I took it but suffice to say I'll never be back. Place is a s@#$hole anyway. No Scooter Liquors for me. If advise the same.

Fast and easy. I can ride my bike through drive through as opposed to locking it up outside. Cops are trash and don't stop crime so it's nice to be able to drive thru.

Scooters wouldn't sell a bottle of Buffalo Trace even though they had multiple bottles of it in the back that you can see while walking up to the door. The attendant and manager both lied and said they didn't have any left even though I just told them I saw it walking up through the window. They then switched their story and said they only had one broken bottle that they can't sell. I asked to look at it, and they wouldn't let me see it. Didn't want to argue so I left and looked back through the window and saw that there were 3-4 bottles sitting on the shelf clearly not broken... Sorry for the Karen rant, but it's frustrating when the employees working the store blatantly lie to your face. Went for the convenience, but will take my business elsewhere next time.

I have read the below reviews and they about sum it all up. Parking: My reaction when told where the parking lot was... "That's a parking lot?" Selection: Vast in such a small space Drive up: Yes, they have one..didn't use it. Music: I can't quite describe the music they were playing... it was the same hypnotic trance techno thing over and over. I'm not sure if he likes it, or was just trying to annoy people so they didn't loiter. After a few texts and calls,we wound up only needing to buy Ice. But they had it!! Like any place else, you have to be aware of your surroundings and if you're not willing to go some place else you pay what they want. No different then a convenient store. Cup o Noodles at Wally.. 25 cents... buy them at a convenient store and it can be 2 bucks!

Easily the best liquor store in Denver - super nice employees and great prices. Definitely stop by next time you're on Colfax.

I love that Scooters sells vape pens in the drive thru. However, when they don't work - they do not accept responsibility. I've had a good relationship with these guys but today, when I told them about a disfunctiong pen, they refused to replace it. I understand their stance and as a regular customer who has purchasing from them for a couple of years, I was surprised by their lack of customer service. I also get that they have to deal with a lot of shadiness On the corner of Colfax and Park. I am not shady and should not be treated that way because of their experience with others. I will never go back because of the way that I was treated today.

2 words: Ghe-tto This store is the epitome of the Colfax stereotype. ...and it's not cheap. The parking lot is awkward at best...the word(s) "clusterfuck" come to mind. I honestly worried about getting jacked in the store before I got back out to my car. Yes, I felt safer outside...on the corner. 1 star for the friendly cashiers 1 star for the location - it is quite convenient...but damn

I'm not sure how it's been an entire month since I moved into my new place, but I haven't been to the liquor store yet? What? Yesterday, beers were needed badly, and thus a trip to Scooter since it's the closest to my apartment. I didn't realize until after I parked in the triangularizoid lot that they had a drive up window, but considering their small liquor selection it probably would have taken me a while to find what I wanted had I pulled up to the window. This place is pretty small with a limited selection, and I think I'll reserve it for emergency trips only. I imagine that they get quite a few characters in here on a regular basis, but the gal behind the checkout counter totally flinched when I accidentally touched her hand to retrieve my credit card slip to sign. I didn't think I was that scary, sorry! I'll def be back, but think I'll save Scooter for emergencies only.

We used to live around the corner from this joint (and yes, it's ALWAYS been called "Scooter Liquors," even before scooters became the hipster accessory du jour, or gas prices got so high even your 56-year-old accountant started driving one. The cute Asian couple who own it knew us by purchase-- if not by name-- and we were always greeted with a cheery, "Thirty pack PBR for you?" whenever we came in. "Oh, no thirty pack PBR today? You want Boone's Farm?" Yeah, they've got that too.

I don't know what is going on with the crummy reviews but this place is BY FAR the best liquor store in the area. The folks at Scooters have never been anything but professional, polite, and competent. If there are problems with the drive-thru, it's because you don't know what you want, in which case - GO INSIDE - like every other liquor store in Denver. Besides, on a slow day, you can get Spanish and Korean lessons. Five stars hands down! Don't listen to the rest of these people. The folks that work here are among the nicest people you will ever meet. Let us all remember that this place is on Colfax - no matter how great the establishment, homeless and creepy people are bound to come in. One night, not too long ago, a homeless man was there, buying liquor and hanging around for what felt like too long. My favorite clerk who works there, Daniel, insisted that I wait inside until the homeless man was gone. After what seemed like a safe amount of time, STILL insisted that I wait a bit longer, until he had finished ringing up the customers in line so that he could walk me out to my car. This place is as good as they get! P.S. If you get over-charged for liquor, drive-thru or not, perhaps don't buy liquor drunk! You're not being over-charged, you just forgot what you ordered upon waking up in the morning.

Not the cheapest place ot get alcohol but sure is convenient since there is a drive-thru. Also, a tip from my lovely friend. If you want to get a chap magnum of wine, park and go in. Unless you know the name of the bottle you are looking for, the window service people may not give you the cheapest bottle if you get my gist. That is if you are not picky with wine. My friend caught me drinking some White Zin yesterday. I have offciially been disowned.

i just wanted to give a shout out to scooters. My roommates and i live right across the street, and we go to scooters a few times a week. They have great prices on wine, have a drive through, and have great store hours. Shout out to our boy Danny. He is such a doll, the sweetest guy, always gives us a warm welcome. Thanks scooters !!!!

Scooters is a Colorado institution! I've been buying beer and liquor there since I was 16 (unlikely they do that anymore). While not a very good selection, and not a very friendly staff, they are conveniently located and do sell alcohol.

I will never shop here ever again they are rude and not a safe place to be I will never let my friends shop here ever

Hey you want more parking its called the suburbs "elite" . i used to live a 1/2 block away..now its 5. These guys do a good job balancingvthe degenerates and the regulars. Dontvlike the music? Fuckin earplugs. Daniel is the best. I love to go in and see the guys watching tella novella. If u dont like non - whites take your country ass back to idaho and wait for them to legalize marajuana. Otherwise shut up. This is a denver istitution for at least my 25 yrs as a hill rat so F you. Best place ever.

The new owners are great, and they are getting more competitive with their prices. I like the new layout too!

This is my neighborhood liquor store. The short little Korean lady is always friendly and cracks me up whenever I go in. It's an alright store to go to but if your wanting a huge selection I would recommend else where.

this place is right down the block from me and they're open late, like midnight, which is pretty convenient for anything last minute. the people who run the joint are very friendly and helpful. they don't have the biggest selection, but they've got something that'll do you for sure. plus they have a drive through. seriously, a drive through! now if there were just delivery we'd all be set!

Love the staff! They always have what I need. I am just bummed that I moved further from the store but still will stop by because they stay open so late.

Should be a negative star. The people operating scooters are very unethical. Myself and friends of mine have come to figure out that they will screw you over anyway they can if you use the drive thru. If you ask for something specifically they tell you they are out and con you into buying something more expensive. They have also been known to over charge such as charging for an 18pk when your only getting a 12pk. BEWARE of the scheisters!!!!!

SCOOT ON IN YOU GUYS. Awkward parking, sure, but you're picking up alcohol so you'll get over it pretty quickly (and I have always been able to fit my car in there somewhere). I've never gone through the drive-up window, but when I'm inside and the buzzer goes off, staff is always quick to get to them. Daniel is literally the nicest employee (owner? Not sure) there is. He makes polite small talk while ringing me up, is incredibly personable, and super cool-- even when it's packed and drive-up patrons are honking (RUDE, YOU GUYS). The prices are liquor store prices, they're average. It's a small place, but it's great to always see the same two staff members there, it feels like running over to a friends place to grab some booze, I am always greeted with a smile. Yes, there are almost always sketchy characters outside JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER LIQUOR STORE EVERYWHERE, but I always feel safe going in and out, it's well-lit, in a very visable area. I am moving to Northglen, but I'll just have to start buying in bulk from Daniel at Scooter, because a man like that has earned my business and my trust.
