Kid Rock’s Broadway Bar Packs in Crowds, Receives Citation for COVID-19 Compliance Violations | Eater Nashville

"I noted that Scoreboard Bar and Grill was cited over the weekend for being out of compliance with coronavirus-related public health orders; the citation requires a court appearance where a judge will set a fine and could lead to temporary closure if noncompliance continues, with Metro officials reminding businesses of Phase Two restrictions on eating at bars and on dance floors." - Delia Jo Ramsey

I’ve been here a few times. The food is good and the atmosphere is very good as well. I noticed that the restaurant decorates for most holidays to keep the atmosphere live and new. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out. Big menu as well. Pastas, burgers, etc. You can see in the photos that the steak is very good with the fajitas.

My favorite place to go with my parents for lunch. We love the bingo on Saturdays. The fish sandwich is huge. Happy hour prices are awesome. We always have a great server when we visit in weekdays around 1pm. Unsure of her name but she's always friendly and takes great care of us. We've visited probably 25x and never been disappointed. Highly recommend. They were our place to get together after the pandemic so will always have a special place in our hearts. The holiday decor is also always so impressive. They go all out!

Google
Best Happy Hour schedule and menu in the west metro! Bingo Saturdays creates a full house so come early to grab a seat! Sundays is full house for football! Very clean restaurant that is well maintained and thoughtfully decorated! Staff attentive to all!

Google
Loved our dinner here today. The ambience was super awesome with the theme of St Patrick’s day. The salad was hearty and the burger was super and worth every penny. Our server Alan took great care of us making sure we enjoyed every bite. Thank you for the awesome food and the great service!!

Google
We are first time customers. We were very impressed with all aspects of the restaurant. From the outstanding food, prices, and portions to the nicest staff and very fast service. We look forward to traveling to the Cities again and going to the Scoreboard for the best food. Thank you so much for the awesome experience!

Lea S.

Google
We did happy hour apps and drinks on a Friday night, then came back for brunch on Sunday. Both visits were fast and so tasty!

Google
Typical American diner with a lot of food such as burgers, sandwiches, handhelds, wraps, salads, different appetizers and mains. A lot of food, a lot of beer and other alcoholic drinks. It’s a sports bar, you can watch the Vikings games there. If you like that you’re definitely in the right place. They have some vegetarian options and different salads. My stir fry sautéed vegetables with noodles were decent. They have Bingo Tuesdays. They have a happy hour too. The service was ok. You can pay by card or cash. It’s pretty reasonable priced. The portions are big. There’s a parking lot in front of the building.

Google
Upscale casual, everyday happy hour, plenty of seating at bar, booths, or tables, easy parking, and full beer, wine, and cocktail menu. Great holiday decor! Convenient location just off the highway (62). We’ll be back the next time we meet friends between Minneapolis and the western suburbs.

Yelp
Scoreboard is one of those sports bars that hangs on by staying relevant, both with ambience and food. The servers wear cheeky shirts with stings like "Thirst Responder," and "You're not seeing double, we have TWO happy hours!" Everyone is smiling and cheerful and the whole atmosphere is welcoming. The decor is festively busy and there are multiple flat screens showing various channels. There was a sign on the host stand explaining they would not have access to this Sunday's game, a heads-up I'm sure many appreciated. RC and I stoped here after a chilly morning of watching the growing-up-too-fast twins play in a soccer match. Warming up with good food was a bonus! We were seated quickly at 11:15 on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was pleasantly busy. Our server, Jack, was prompt and personable which always adds to the enjoyment of a meal. The menu is pretty large including breakfast items. RC ordered the steak and eggs and I chose the Angus burger after learning I could order it medium rare. The food was very good; my burger was flavorful and juicy and RC's steak was a perfect mid-rare. We both enjoyed the tater tots (an upcharge) and the seasoned sour cream (extra 50 cents) was nice. Overall, a great lunch with wonderful service.

Yelp
This is a very popular suburban restaurant-slash-sports-bar. I have family nearby who love it and come here very often. It is lively and pretty large, with a very bustling bar area during sporting events. Calling for reservations is definitely recommended during peak times, including when there is a big game going on. Don't be discouraged from watching a game here, though; it's a fun crowd. My food has always been fine, but not quite remarkable. I got a walleye-and-chips this last time and was a little disappointed in the amount of fish I got. My uncle loves the pot roast sliders and I definitely want to try them next time. The service has always been highly professional. I think they run things pretty smoothly and take service seriously. They have a patio and I'm hoping my next visit coincides with some good weather so that I can enjoy that space.

Yelp
This place is a great neighborhood hang out. They know how to do it right. It's a good place to go with a group, as a couple or even solo. You can go for lunch, happy hour (they have two every day), or dinner. There is bar food, a good selection of beers on tap, or you can do a fancier meal-think filet, or walleye prepared 3 different ways. I had the walleye tonight with baked potato and it was well worth the trip. I'd say Scoreboard is a place for OPTIONS. And it works with any mood, appetite and:/or dress code. Enjoy! The place is on top of decorating for all holidays. Saint Patty's Day is the current decor as seen in the picture.

Yelp
Newer to the area, stopped in with my family for an early Saturday dinner unaware BINGO was just wrapping up. We were seated quickly and were well attended to by a pleasant waiter. The food each of us ordered was very tasty and hot, I had the walleye sandwich & fries which was excellent! Will be back again soon with friends for lunch and BINGO. Looks to have great patio seating seasonally.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite restaurants! Everything I have had so far has been really good. I get the angus sliders a lot, and sometimes the regular burger, and other times I get their chicken wings. The chicken wings tend to be a little too saucy for me, but I just ask for a little less sauce and it's great! I also get their Caesar salads (which comes with garlic bread) which is also great! Service has always been great, and a few of the servers have been rather personable (I forget their names, but I will learn them!) I forgot to take pictures but each season/holiday they change up the decorations which is what I extra love about this place. They go all out, too! (Also can't go wrong with the cookie sundae... it's super rich) I don't care about the sports side of it, but I'm sure a lot of people love it for that alone as well.

Yelp
Scoreboards is a fun, lively sports bar and grill with great happy hour prices! This is one of my go to spots to enjoy some drinks and appetizers with coworkers after work because their menu has a little bit of something for everyone! Additionally, the wait staff is always kind, attentive, and accommodating which is greatly appreciated.

Yelp
This is a nice neighborhood sports bar. We came for a Viking game + beer + a burger. We've come here a number of times, and the server are friendly and have gotten to know us.
google avatar

Sujatha R.

Yelp
Love that they decorate for all the fun seasons. They went all out for Halloween and now they have their Christmas decorations up! Fun and enjoyable environment. Food is okay nothing special but really enjoy the pull tabs
google avatar

Natalie W.

Yelp
Checked out the scoreboard today. It was alright. They were very decorated for st Patrick's day which was nice.. I ordered a bloody at first and it was fine. Nothing special. For food I got the dill pickle wings. And wow! These had a lot of seasoning. I found myself scraping some off so the dill flavor wasn't so overbearing. My husband had the bbq burger, that was pretty good. We sat in the bar, I think that maybe they were understaffed? The guy that was our waiter seemed like his section was way too big for him to handle alone. His service was good but just a little slow. I would consider going back here but only because their bloodys were like $2.50 during their brunch hours. All in all, it was okay.

Yelp
What food really good it was Mother's Day. The buffet was really good. The waitresses are really nice.

Lee B.

Yelp
This is our favorite local restaurant; we drive 20 minutes every week to come here. The atmosphere is the best, always decorated and full of beautiful lights. The food is always so good and the satff is friendly. The menu prices are amazing - I believe this is why they are so busy, it is affordable unlike so many other restaurants. They could use better TVs in the bar area for sports, but that is minor. We love it here!
google avatar

Lucy N.

Yelp
Time to upgrade my review to a 5/5. We've dined here numerous times in the past few months and truly this place is terrific. The bar is fun, the patio is great, the decor for holidays is unforgettable. We especially love their happy hour deals and watching sports here -- but really you can catch us here at any time of day. Most recently we came for breakfast and the discounted bloody Mary's with food purchase. Truly a crowd pleaser. I love popcorn so the constant popcorn machine is my happy place. We've gotten breakfast, lunch, steak dinner, and even brought in a large group for drinks on holidays. Everyone always leaves fed and happy.
google avatar

Rickie G.

Yelp
Marsha, manager, was very helpful. I'm slightly disabled and she made certain we were comfortable. Alan, our server, suggested some nice options. Busy day but well served this Mother's Day. Decorations are always fun and seasonal.
google avatar

Kris P.

Yelp
Road our bikes over to Scoreboard for midday happy hour. Many tv's to view college football games. Bartender was very attentive and fun. The whole restaurant was decked out for Halloween. We really enjoyed the Walley fingers. The pork belly burnt ends were good but a bit too salty for our likings. Other people had flatbreads that looked really good. We will be back and will try something else on their menu!
google avatar

Chad K.

Yelp
Great solid staple. Been coming here for 30 plus years. Good sandwiches. Good burgers. Decent dinners. A good salad bar when it's up. Seems clean all the time and a quiet parking lot that they share with 20 other businesses. We usually come after the other businesses are closed.
google avatar

Corey H.

Yelp
Very accommodating hostess (Megan) had her manager help her and found me a table for 3 with room for the 8 "maybes" and then no one showed up! I was sad and told my waiter and he told me a story about his night before to bond and made me not feel like a loser! He also helped me choose between two entrees, brewed me decaf coffee, kept my cup full, and kept me in creamer. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious! And it was something like $13.99. A bargain!
google avatar

L. Eliza C.

Yelp
As a hungry vegetarian, I found something to eat here. It was satisfying and I recommend. My colleagues love their tatter tots and drinks. It is like the happening place for post work hang out.
google avatar

Laurie S.

Yelp
Great service. Great food. The staff is friendly. I enjoy the sliders and onion rings
google avatar

Lynn M.

Yelp
Really good breakfast. Husband says pancakes are delicious! I am always happy with the omlets. Good prices too

Andrea C.

Yelp
Service is always good. The staff seems to have worked there for a long time which I like because it means they treat their employees well. Their soups are all homemade and very good. My favorite item is the London Berry sandwich it is so flavorful. If you like really thin crust pizza you will like their flatbreads. They go over the top decorating for all the holidays which I like. Good prices. Great neighborhood restaurant that is family owned. I always prefer to patronize locally owned restaurants.

Todd O.

Yelp
if you're looking for a friendly neighborhood bar, this is pretty good. Sure, the food is bar room good. Good grumpy old men viewing.

Shirley J.

Yelp
Food service was exceptional! Alan, our server, was the best server we've ever had! Efficient, thorough and very very nice and this gem has the best food for a bar/restaurant! Wonderful and fun place!
google avatar

Amanda G.

Yelp
I have trouble rating this restaurant. Sometimes the food and service are exceptional, and sometimes it leaves a lot to be desired. They have some really unique and delightful menu items here, and there is something for everybody. With that being said, I have had trouble getting steak cooked how I ordered it, and staff have seem frustrated with me when I've asked to have it redone. In the other hand, their pot roast entree and pot roast sliders are always exceptionally flavorful and juicy. There is consistency in the staff that work there, but some of them are not very friendly, but some are very friendly. This restaurant is a sports bar, but it has a cleaner, sleeker feel than other sports bars. There are plenty of televisions all around to be able to watch the game. There is outdoor seating in warm months which is nice also. If the staff were friendlier, I would probably give more stars.
google avatar

Chad B.

Yelp
Neighborhood Sports Bar nestled in Minnetonka does not "run the Scoreboard." Friendly staff and plenty of TV screens for the avid sports fan, as well as patio seating. A place where for regulars "everybody knows your name." Beyond that, the Happy Hour food is nothing to write home about. The Walleye Fingers (tasted like coconut batter) were good, but from the best I could discern, not made in house. The guacamole tasted off so I potitely sent it back, something I rarely do. The nachos were okay. I had previously been to Scoreboard and had their salad buffett which was very good. It has yet to resume as of this writing which is unfortunate. Bingo is played there Saturdays at 2pm. A good place to gather for locals!
google avatar

Devon F.

Yelp
Not sure where any of the low star ratings are coming from. Every time I've been here the service has been great, food is cheap and is always well-made, servers and staff always helpful and kind. It's a nice place. Give it a try.

Andrew R.

Yelp
I love this place. Huge fan of their fajita bowls and the old fashioned they do is absolutely killer. And the service is absolutely amazing along with the family friendly ambience. Thoroughly recommend.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
Good neighborhood bar with an extensive food menu. Plenty of seating and the bar area is pretty big, so there's hardly a wait time. They have events like bingo and trivia throughout the week that get a pretty good turnout.
google avatar

Kali S.

Yelp
Too many Karens reviewing this place, ignore them all. I love eating here, the food is always good and it's not expensive. They are friendly and never disappoint. Their breakfast burritos are *chefs kiss*.
google avatar

Jill P.

Yelp
The bar staff was so nice and chatted with me, enduring my boring stories from the old days when I worked for another Jennings' place, O'Toole's Pub. Especially fun were the male bartender with a blond ponytail, and a tall slim brunette lady whose name escapes me. The Chopped Chicken Salad was very good; lots of the good stuff. My parents rarely go out to eat, but they love Scoreboard for the good menu, great staff, and lovely ambience.
google avatar

Michele M.

Yelp
Went for happy hour - so not sure about entrees or dinner service. But the happy hour had lots of options for both drinks and food. The waitress was very kind and the food came out incredibly fast. Speed didn't sacrifice quality as everything we ate was delicious. The nachos, flatbreads, shrimp and cheese curds were all great. If i had to pick - I'd make a meal of shrimp and cheese curds. Great place for happy hour and was able to accommodate a very large group.

Mike T.

Yelp
Good food. Great Service. Great place to hang with friends or family for dinner and drinks.
google avatar

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Came here for a Happy Hour with 15+ coworkers on a Tuesday. I can say that they weren't used to a having a big group of people but did their best at managing! Nice holiday decor and the overall vibes gave the mix of going to a sports bar with the huge wooden bar and also a casual family restaurant. Decent variety of food as well as range of drinks. Nothing too standout in terms of food, but everything was decent bar food. However, the kitchen did a fantastic job at bringing out the food at the same time despite having a larger order. They did make us order at 7:30pm and said that the kitchen needed our orders right then which was odd. Maybe because they were short staffed?

Shi L.

Yelp
Their gluten-free pasta is fantastic! I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again soon!
google avatar

Aaron F.

Yelp
Something changed at this restaurant and I will never be coming back. About five years ago we started going here for college football watch parties. Management worked well with our group and everything was great. There must have been a change in management as we were basically kicked out. People in our group were respectful, bought lots of food and drink, and tipped well. For some reason management did not like us. Might be good just to get a drink by yourself. Come in with a few friends - not welcome.

David G.

Yelp
we had been going to scoreboard every week for over a year. the service got worse with each visit. server was more and more annoyed each visit when we would ask for basic items like hot sauce and silverware. I wonder how they treat new customers, if hey treat their regulars like trash? Should have taken a hint when we showed up for their advertised "customer appreciation day" only to be told customer appreciation day was over. won't be going back without some apologies.

C B.

Yelp
I'm actually kind of pissed with this place. This is the third time we've ordered from here that they've screwed up and it will be the last. My wife is allergic to tomatoes, I put in the notes specifically in our order for delivery on her Angus burger, "NOTE: Plain. Bun, cheese and meat. No pickles on the side either please.". Unless this needed to be in all caps, I don't know why it was hard to follow. It came with both tomatoes and lettuce on the side along with pickles thrown into the mix. We've called in for orders for pick up before and have run into the same problem. I don't know why it's that fk'n hard to do. It's plain. It says that right there. My order, in the notes section: "No pickles on the side please." I got 8 of them covering everything. I HATE pickles. This was in the damn notes. Again, I'm not sure why it's that hard to read the notes. If you aren't going to read it, why even ask for it? Most of my reviews for places have been positive and I've written more positive reviews then negative ones so it's not like I only write negative things about places but this is just ridiculous. It shouldn't be that hard to read a note and follow it.

James V.

Yelp
A local institution, a friend and I stopped by for dinner this weekend. I appreciated their easy online reservation system and outdoor seating. Food is typical SYSCO fair and for being a sports bar they do have a lot of options. They have a large drink list, but their drinks are pricey. Service was friendly, but felt incredibly disorganized and was very slow.

Marie B.

Yelp
Tables were not cleaned , low staff which took awhile to be helped. My drink tasted like water and wasn't happy with the service. Or are meals Would not return
google avatar

Tyler S.

Yelp
Great place, and especially nice to see a reasonably priced menu that is not your typical chain restaurant menu items. Great place to get a meal, or sit back and enjoy a sports game for a few hours. Highly recommend this neighborhood bar and restaurant

Brynn D.

Yelp
I had a great time on a Monday night outside! My server Sammy was very attentive to my table which gave me a positive experience. I will be back!
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
Decent sports bar with average quality food. The space itself looks to be due a make-over. There's a salad bar at lunch and a reasonably varied menu. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Performed patty, cooked on a grill not bad but not great.
google avatar

Hiroshi A.

Yelp
Seems to be a very popular choice in the neighborhood. Went to this place with my wife and we enjoyed ourselves. Good happy hour and nice service. Overall, the place was fairy busy and festive. Kind of like a mix between a sports bar and a family restaurant.

Joseph D.

Yelp
Terrific food. Friendly atmosphere. I'm from out of town so maybe I'm not familiar with happy hour food. That part seemed odd since all they do is serve half portions for half the price. Not a real discount. $1 all drinks is great. Terrific menu. I would come back.
google avatar

Asia L.

Yelp
Nothing to write home about. Poor lighting at the tables (the whole indoor space is quite dark) and the food does the job if you're hungry.
google avatar

B D.

Yelp
Ok... I'll get this out of the way... We ordered 4 hot appetizers during happy hour today and they all came to us cold... Obviously not ideal, but it didn't even bother me because: 1. Unlimited free popcorn! 2. Free soft serve ice cream with toppings (butterscotch, strawberry preserves, hot fudge) 3. Very friendly service! 4. Long happy hour (3-7pm and 9-close) 5. Two separate outdoor eating patios! ... One smoking & one non-smoking. As someone who is very bothered by smoking, this was great to sit outside in a completely smoke-free area! In conclusion... We weren't particularly wowed today, but then again we ordered greasy apps; I'm sure their more quality, fresh meals are more... Well... Quality and fresh. But the coconut shrimp was DELICIOUS, the ahi tuna was surprisingly good, and hey... Free popcorn and ice cream AM I RIGHT?!
google avatar

Barb S.

Yelp
I have been going to scoreboard for years and Ray (server) is fantastic. He is so outgoing and personable. He knows the menu and tells you what you want to know. He is my favorite, so ask for him next time you visit scoreboard. Food is great, too!

Yaroslava M.

Yelp
Ok food, very nice and friendly staff, good prices and people that work there made this place nice and welcoming. Great for occasional dinner/lunch etc
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
We were there for a game time happy hour and gotta say, they got the television part covered! They offered two food specials for game time . . . we lucked out with pretzels and wings. Both were delicious! Even ordered a second pretzel. Free popcorn and ice cream went well with the beer. Downside is, not all beer is on special and nothing on the beer specials struck me as something I would purchase, but guess with all of that free popcorn and ice cream I can scrape up the cash for my beer choice!

Yelp
I have been a fan of Scoreboard's food and vibe for many years. And, it is still great. That is--if you want casual dress and food and don't take your sense of worth from being among those who are other than 'regular people.' That said, you will see high priced cars in the parking areas, but find down to earth people and food within. Bet bets: BLT Pizza; Chicken flatbread; Buffalo Wings [they make their own sauces]...but don't venture to the 'atomic' unless you can really take hot! Bruchetta is good, Thai chicken is good. A wide variety of sandwiches and entrees. Did I mention that you can pull yourself a soft-serve DQ-style cone after you eat??? Great for every day eats, and great happy hour deals M-F 3-7.
