All of the staff are amazing and the food is way better than you'd expect from a shady dive like this. Holly, Jenny, and Sarah are always killing it and all make what could be a forgettable neighbourhood video lottery spot a local staple. Give them a raise!

Donna Marie Abril

Google
Large place with lots of seating, TVs and pool tables. Service was fast and friendly. Bathrooms were cleaner but smelled terribly. I’d go back if in the area.

Yuni C

Google
Bartender had a unwelcoming attitude. She didn’t serve us because “she didn’t feel like it”. I wouldn’t recommend this place for POC…

Ortho Tech Guy

Google
Good local dive bar. Go there often. Lots of tvs. Decent food. Pre covid had lots of games and couple pool tables. Currently I don't know. Ask about serving size on food before you order. Some items tiny like this meatball sub I got the other day.

Dwayne Hackley

Google
Shittiest bartender ever. 3 people in the place and I had to tell her 3 times my name to get a drink. Avoid this place it sucks

Eris Egan

Google
Everything was great except the bathroom smelled so bad I feel there might be a sewage leak. Talking to friends, sounds like they’ve smelled like that for years. That will probably keep me from coming back. It might be a heath department violation???

Angelo D

Google
I went there for NFL kickoff opening night and Rocky was my bartender. Turns out that the cook decided to quit that night. However, Rocky seriously rocked it! She was bartender and cook and although it was busy I still got my food and drinks in a timely manner!... and the wings were good! The draft beer is super cheep too! I'll be back and would recommend...

Google
The environment is whatever you make it, which is great because you will have fun if you choose to have fun. The jukebox there has a great selection of music, albeit it's a bit pricey but definitely makes the atmosphere. The drinks are reasonably priced, somewhat less pricey than surrounding bars, actually. They have three pool tables and a lot of pinball machines. It's a big space, so large groups of people are easily accommodated.

Yelp
I'm m not a fan of sports bars but this one is definitely one I go back to. They have plenty of TVs, pinball machines, pool tables and video gambling machines as well. The drinks are good and so are the wings. The staff is friendly and tend well.
google avatar

Steph S.

Yelp
It's a dive bar with big spinny chairs and tons of tvs to watch all the sports you could ever want. Watching sports is not my jam, but the massive amount of pinball machines, decent pours and friendly bartenders keep us coming back.

Dameon R.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars in town. Would highly recommend. Tons of TVs, pool tables, pinball machines and video poker Not to mention the bartenders are all amazing and the cook as well. Great drinks/pours and huge food portions. Totally worth checking out if you're near by
google avatar

Yelp
The bartender was a very friendly person. Drinks were good. Good pinball place. They really need to work on the smell of the place. I've only been there once, but that visit really had a strange and bad smell in there.

Chris R.

Yelp
Fun bar & I always have a good time with the guys at the end of the bar. I don't know if they own it, but they are always there. The food is good for bar food. If you are on a date and bring them here for dinner... do better. I have always liked ALL the bartenders. Edit: They do require shoes/shirt. Taking a star off for that.

WHat D.

Yelp
Chill bar with good prices. Dim and divey, pool table juke box and plenty of pinball machines. There are weekly events like movie night and a ladies pinball league. Only detractor is I was aggressively and repeatedly approached by a strange man. After I told him to leave me alone, the regulars (all middle aged men) all heckled him until he left. The bartenders have to hold it down open to close and put up with a lot. If you need complicated shots and a large party accommodated, go to TGI Fridays and not the chill neighborhood dive bar.

Sandy D.

Yelp
Five screens of weather. Asked the bartender to play the Portland Thorns game. She had no idea who the Thorns are. Saddest "sports bar " ever.

Greg C.

Yelp
So, I realize that a new person was being trained, but I've seldon sat alone at a bar and been ignored. Empty beer glass on bar waiting to be filled. Menu waiting to be ordered from. Been driving by 30 years and decided to stop in and see what it was like. Guess it'll be another 30 before I go back.

April S.

Yelp
Jamie is an awesome bartender! The bar has pool, air hockey, VP, and pinball. They also have a shelf of board games to play at your table. Good crowd and comfy spot. Lots of TVs for the games and seating is plentiful.

Samantha P.

Yelp
So much chicken it couldn't be good for you. Chicken tenders could feed a family with small children. You could eat it for a few days. Don't worry about lunch the next day, or dinner the following -- heck even breakfast. I'm moving in. The chairs are so comfortable. I fell asleep after eating the chicken tenders.

Yelp
Not really a sports bar. Sure they have sports, but they don't play audio and it's not really focused on sports itself. Decent beer list, it has above average pinball. Service could improve.

Yelp
Okay this bar is a good bar if you're going to play pool and maybe talk about how awful the world is and maybe they could have an area for a mosh pit. Unfortunately I went here on a night of a blazers game. I work nearby and literally opted out of buying tickets to the game because I got off of work 20 min before and I thought "There's a sports bar nearby. Let's just meet there" So I told my friend to meet at my work. We walked over. Heavens. What a nightmare. The bartender was so rude. Someone had told me that "if you walk in and turn right. There's an area for people watching the games". I took a look around and didn't see this area. So I asked the gal. "I mean there are TVs everywhere. So. Pick one." The whole time. There is bizarre. Super loud. Super awful. Metal music playing. I was really mind blown. It's not like this was a random game. This was our cities basketball team playing their 3rd to last game before the playoffs. And this "sports bar" was blaring metal trash. I can't reiterate enough how loud this music was. I'm 30 and covered in tattoos and felt like an angry mom after curfew. It was awful! We had one beer and walked up to north bar to finish the game. Honestly still really confused at how that happened at a sports bar. I'm assuming this started as a sports bar and this is the clientele that hangs there so they're going with it. Which is understandable and I get that. Unfortunately I just specifically came to this bar to watch a sports game. This seems like a cool bar for playing pool, pinball and fighting with your girlfriend. Have your first beer after getting bailed out of jail. But it's not a sports bar. Maybe change the name to "grumpy babes" and you'd have a solid spot. But "scoreboards: sports bar" is real misleading. There is nothing sports bar about this place.

Yelp
Five stars. Love this place. Lots of fun games. Good vibes. Sydney and Jen make great food and shayna the bartender is such a delight! The food is bar food but it's delicious . They could get some better ranch but then still get five stars. Shayna is the more plea ascent bartender here and is always down for a good conversation! 10/10 love this place wooooooooo
google avatar

Wanda S.

Yelp
I love this bar. Adam, the service manager is the best. I would definitely hit up on him if he was 30 yrs older and wasn't engaged. He gives great service and is hilarious. Great food and drinks. All of the staff are great. This is a neighbor bar.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
This place has pool tables and a ton of pinball, if you can get them to work. they're getting the 3 stars for the Huge chicken strips and O-rings meal I got late night that I'm still thinking about. Pretty strong but basic G & T. Bummed that 2 pinball machines stopped working on my dime and the only response from the bar tender was that I should call the company number on the machine. But to be fair she did take a dollar off my meal. Very divey if you like that sort of thing.
google avatar

Kris R.

Yelp
Biked over to read in the sun. The bartender was very rude, accused me of being underage despite handing her my OR license immediately after walking in. Payed for a beer only to find you can no longer drink outside at the tables (not sure when this changed, as I have been coming here occasionally for years). Set my full drink on the bar and left. I wont ever be coming back here.

Ks S.

Yelp
I frequent this local dive bar often and love it. The staff usually are super chill, pool table and few other games. They have several TVs to watch sport as well which is awesome. I must say the food game has improved a lot! Idk if it's a new owner or what but the food before was so bad now I grab food here all the time
google avatar

Riccardo A.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I had the fish and chips and got food poisoning. Had to miss two days of work but didn't try to get a refund because they are closing this week. Good atmosphere and I always avoided the food before but I learned my lesson eating here.
google avatar

Bradford S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer and some food. Young female bartender was VERY unfriendly and bitchy. Ordered wings and got something resembling charred miniature wing looking things that were basically batter over bone. I actually have never even seen anything like it before. Two of them were like 1 1/2" long and 1/2" thick. Besides being microscopic, they so over cooked they basically cooked all the meat out of them. I asked the bartender to observe them and she said "yea, so what they're wings, that's what you ordered!!" I asked for them to be replaced to which she grabbed them, rolled her eyes, they're them across the bar to the garbage and stormed off into the kitchen. Don't torture yourself here, there are too many cool places on division that are great to waste you time and money on abuse and toxic food here.

Yelp
Any dive bar that has about 10 pinball machines scores high on my scoreboard. Recently visited from San Diego to check out the pinball scene and had fun attending a 35 person tournament hosted by Zoe. While I didn't try the beer and food I was looking at what others were ordering and they seemed pleased. I also liked the huge rocking chairs available in the pinball room. Nice touch. Looking forward to returning on my next visit.

Yelp
Do you need a bar that has a TV and a sports package? Maybe some cheap tots and okay burgers? Do you find ambiance to be too distracting to your enjoyment of a sporting match? Well Scoreboard is the place for you. This bleak dive is a decent place to catch a game. There's pretty much zero ambiance in the place, but they have the primary ingredients necessary for an in-bar spectating experience. Beers on tap. Liquor behind the bar. Ice. Cups. A deep-fryer for tater-tots. A thrown-together selection of chairs and tables that are easily reconfigured into an amphitheater-style seating arrangement for the big game. And a TV with sports access. There really aren't any more frills than that, and, well, do you need any? If you do, you're probably going to want to venture elsewhere, but if not, Scoreboard will come through fin a pinch. Now if only the NBA would start playing games at some point...

Yelp
I love this place. I wish it would open sooner but I'm glad they added an air freshener. My favorite bartender is totally laid back and always knows our drinks. #openearlyplease

Amber D.

Yelp
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. This bar is very trendy & on point. Its the perfect place to take your friends for a lit night out.
google avatar

Greg T.

Yelp
Went on a work night and had a blast! They have a good amount of drinks and a pretty good french dip! The pool table are ok and the games keep the fun going. The only real issue i had was how loud it was and the bathrooms could have used a clean when i went. Definitely Ganna go back and hang with the boys!
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
I got kicked out and told never to come back because I made the mistake of bringing a drink outside. The bartender also stole my drink, which I barely drank and I had to pay for it anyway. Totally ridiculous, watch out for those bartenders they are unnecessarily cruel.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Women owned and operated, everything you want / need in a dive bar. Love this place and the awesome staff!
google avatar

LeeAnn M.

Yelp
This was kind of a weird place. It's called the Scoreboard. We were looking to play some pool and listen to music or watch some sports highlights. When walked in it was full. There was a line to get a drink however there was no music playing and everyone was watching full house. That TV show with Bob sagit and the Olsen twins (in case you didn't know). AND EVERYONE was glued to it. It was so bizarre. Not what we were looking for at all, we moved on.

Craig H.

Yelp
Absolutely love this bar. Me and my buddies come here every Friday and whenever the blazers are playing and have an absolute blast. Always the first bar I recommend on a night out

Yelp
Scoreboard? More like "Scumbar" (as in "Scummy Bar"). You might enjoy this laidback watering hole if you are a total scumbag. I like dive bars. Love em. But Scoreboard is weird. They have all these huge, unwieldy green nylon wheely chairs that look they were lifted out of a conference room in the late 70's. They take up about 40% of the main floor, are a pain to wade through, and make everything feel really....low, and exposed. I came with a couple friends because we knew this place gained a rep for having skeeball. But little did we know we'd actually be playing scumball: only 2 pathetic units were tucked in a corner next to the restroom, and they would simply stop producing balls midway through games. My disappointment over the unresolved games is not the only thing that marred my experience. Nothing seemed to function properly. For example, a bar that has so many quarter-operated games should have a better system for getting quarters. At other spots around PDX I've been able to add a buck or two to my tab, get some coin from the barkeep, and shoot pool. No problems. That simple system didn't fly here: instead I had to close my tab, use the ATM, go back to the bar and wait to get change for a 20, then use their quarter machine. And then waste it on whack skeeball. With all our extra quarters, we improvised: "let's play some Cutthroat." We were being watched. The moment I turned away from our huddle, all hope was lost: noticing our moves toward the green felt, a shaggy-haired scum quickly pivoted away from his post at a nearby handrail, plunging into the ball deposit with two wretched wrists. He glanced up and stared right at me, a vicious, satisfied glint in his eyes (he looked sorta like Kiefer Sutherland in "Stand by Me").... We booked it soon after and went up the street to drink at North. Walking back down Division, my friend Ian was audibly shivering as we passed Scoreboard. "Ian, are you cold?" "Yeah.....but also that place is just really scummy."

Heather P.

Yelp
Cool dive bar to watch the games and play games!! Food is pretty decent! Their wraps are huge!

Alena C.

Yelp
I will update this review the next time I spend more time here, but so far I just had one comment. Dudes. So many dudes. Single ladies, come here. Because it's a man hangout and there isn't a women in sight.
google avatar

Marty X.

Yelp
This place is classic.. one of those rare bars that seems to foster a thriving community of patrons. Not many of those left in our city I'm afraid.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Riddled with an identity crisis, poor service and not so clean and or barely maintained structure...........the Scoreboard was heading deep below the dive bar scene and on its way to extinction. New owners and some staff changes have brought the Scoreboard back up a notch. The Scoreboard is trying to make a change. Although certainly still a dive bar by definition, the recent addition of live music on some weekends, a small dance floor , some pretty good drink specials, and much better service is beginning to make this place way more appealing. The Scoreboard has lots of TV's for sporting events and actually a lot of seating around them, and the stage area. They have some good happy hour specials, and a full bar with reasonable priced well drinks. The food is average bar food, that is prepared well, and very reasonably priced. The addition of live music is what has really gotten me through the door here. Two pool tables, poker machines, pinball, and reasonable prices make it worth coming back when in the area. The jukebox however has some strange assortment of music on it. I would caution on some of those choices. A-OK for now, I will be watching.
google avatar

Mark P.

Yelp
All the negative reviews about this place make me wonder if one or several of the erected structures up and down "D-Street" serve as the container wall for giant (in this case we will say luxury studio size) childrens tylenol containers. "This wasn't safe"..."I've never seen wings like these"..."I'm pretty sure this is mayonaise and we ordered aioli"..I noticed the New Seasons in Woodstock now has a roof top drinking patio, go jump off it.
google avatar

Abe N.

Yelp
Maybe I should double the score for the seating and layout, but jeez S.Board how bad can you make that burger??? Made by the guy that was drinking whiskey next to me before I ordered it, who apparently MAYBE works there, maybe as a janitor or something? He was talking about how it was his first time working in that kitchen. A group that appeared to be the owners sitting next to him, so I thought maybe that would have helped the sitch, but hell naw. -Took 40 minutes to come out, (after orders after me, blah blah blah). -asked for medium rare "no problem!", comes out cooked WELLwell, dry, cold, and undersized. Cold fries as well. Cold chili on top too, to the point that it had solidified on top of the patty. That's cool (heh) though, because there was maybe a tablespoon of chli, didn't spill a single drop of chili out of their chili burger, how is that even possible?!? -the bun was cold and wet. -no napkins. Acknowledged by the bartender, just never got me some until I practically had to tackle her to get some. The real issues that let to me actually typing this out. Bartender gal wasn't even slammed, but there was a party that kept ordering expensive shots that had her completely distracted. And she never apologized for the completely terrible service, how ridiculously long the wait was, or asked how the burger was. I honestly couldn't even flag her down. There'll probably eventually be a Sunday that I want to watch a few games, but what a bummer.
google avatar

Jaime L.

Yelp
Cheap drinks check, amazing music that brings you back to your younger years check, games that make you feel like a kid again check. Enough room to hang out with your large group. Can't find any problems with this bar on a Saturday night. Will be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
When I moved to Portland 11 years ago there seemed to be a dive bar like Scoreboard on every corner. You know the drill: Strong, knock you on your behind drinks that cost a handful of dollars, pool tables, juke, shabby furnishings, and sports on the TV. Now it's all "mixology" bars and brew pubs, which is fine and good and dandy (I like those things) but sometimes you just want a proper, old school boozer. The Scoreboard ticks all the boxes: Cheap, lethally strong drinks, friendly bartenders, pool, sports, etc. I came here twice on my last trip home. First time was a totally dead Friday night, which was fine as I just wanted to enjoy my insanely cheap pint of beer over a conversation with a friend and head to bed at a reasonable hour. Next time I came in on Thursday night to catch the end of the karaoke session. The place was rollicking at one am, everyone dancing to the karaoke together, being sociable, and generally having a great time. I can't remember the last time an impromptu dance party broke out a bar or the last time I had convos with random strangers at a bar. Then I had a little two much fun and the bartender brewed me up some free coffee. Thanks darlin, you're the best!
google avatar

Beth P.

Yelp
If you like Milf bartenders in referee outfits, harsh florescent lighting and TV's then this is your place. I give them props for the executive chairs in the tv/pool table area.
google avatar

Shawn A.

Yelp
This place is a pretty cool dive bar and good overflow when the Landmark gets full..which is pretty much always. laid back, cool jukebox, and Olympia beer (I need to slum sometimes too...)
google avatar

Zachary K.

Yelp
The Division & 50th. This is it's home. There are other nice places but THE SCOREBOARD IS NEIGHBORHOOD. Always has been. Dear GOD don't let this become a condo.
google avatar

Jimmy E.

Yelp
How can this place not be getting knocked down and replaced with condos yet? Someone must be holding out for more money cuz it's a huge bar that always has like three people in it. Last time I went in, it smelled like an animal had died somewhere and they hadn't bothered to look around and remove it from behind the video poker machines or wherever it was decomposing. In this case I eagerly await "progress".

Michael D.

Yelp
New bartenders unresponsive to games and channels, regardless of fanbase. Food is mediocre. Don't recommend for sports fans.
google avatar

RooLyfe G.

Yelp
My local dive on Division. I love this place cheap drinks and food.
google avatar

Brandi M.

Yelp
This place is so very good for football on Sunday morning, well that's the only time I have been there. On one side of the bar they have a seperate room that has about 6 flat screen tv's each with a different game going, three or four rows of tables all accompanied with comfy swivel chairs (all the chairs facing toward he tv's). They have more tv's in the main part of the bar also but I like the class room style room cause I focus more on the game (I'm trying to learn more about football). They also have a pretty decent menu and they were pretty flexible with me to make me something vegetarian and the way I wanted. Prices aren't bad either.
google avatar

Crispin H.

Yelp
Yipes, this was one of the saddest dive-ish bars I have been to. We met a friend who lived up the street and had made this place his own but it was one of the most depressing evenings in a while. That night we were the only people not hunched over their drink and staring blankly at the TV. Maybe we caught a bad day, but if I were going back to that block I might stick with the overly bearded bunch at North. And I do hate me some beards.
google avatar

J E.

Yelp
It's not a very busy bar which I like. I especially go for the pinball machines. The beer is cheaper than other neighborhood bars. The food is worse than other neighborhood bars. Mostly clean. Furniture is old and somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise okay place.
google avatar

Walter A.

Yelp
I give 3 stars for it being quite an upgrade in food and service since my last visit many years ago. Still baffling with it's windowless, stark atmosphere, but not a bad place at all to catch a game and some pints, which is the formula for most every sports bar out there. They have a god satellite package it seems.

Chris R.

Yelp
This place is awesome, which is why it's my go to bar. I appreciate the gals who work there Elli, Stephanie, Jenn, Kylie, and Jessica. Always give great service. Food is good too.
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
Cool place! Comfy chairs to watch the game, decent prices, excellent/helpful in discovering new drinks bartender. Funny movies on after game(hangover, etc.) 3 pool tables, 2 SKEE BALL! And a wall of pin ball:) overall very chill place to just kick it and have a good time
google avatar

Michael J. F.

Yelp
I discovered this joint in back in 2004 while watching the playoffs where the Sox killed the Yanks after being down 3-0, and went on to win it all. Back then, PBR pints were a buck, all day, every day. Changes in ownership have happened since: up, and down, and up again. Lately, they have great specials on drinks, good food for a sports bar, and an awesome Taco Tuesday. The service is above par, exceptional. For that reason it is a great place to chill with the crew, and take in the games, with tons of TV s. Why don't I give them a fifth star? The juke box is weird, but we go in for sports, so what the hell.....
