I met the love of my life at Scorekeepers Sports Grill and Pub. It was a Tuesday night, and in the wake of a recent rejection from transferring to the Ross School of Business I strolled in planning on drowning my sorrows away in a mimosa (with a garnish of rosemary). As I took my first sip, I looked across the bar and noticed her. She was deep in conversation with the 2 people who accompanied her, often laughing in between exchanges. I noticed the shirt she was wearing featured a joke regarding the complications between aggregate demand and supply, which was exactly what my undergrad thesis was about. I was astounded. In my trance, she spotted me staring off in her general direction, and I grew beet red. How could this night get any worse? They exchanged giggles and I decided I had nothing to lose. As I walked over she sat up straighter and fixed her hair, and I wanted to die. After introducing myself, it all came easy. The conversation flowed by so fast 20 minutes went by in the blink of an eye. Before we knew it, 2 am had arrived, so we scampered out of the establishment. We headed back to my place to have some fun, and you guessed it, discussed the implications of the 2008 Zimbabwe hyperinflation for hours on end. It was perfect. She’s laying on my chest now as I write this. We’re going to name our first child “Skeep” after Scorekeepers Sports Grill and Pub. Thank you.

Awesome place! First time back in 10 years. Max the bartender was unbelievable and took care of us and is a badass. Matt in the back of the house crushed it and made the experience great!

Scorekeepers is the best spot for early casual drinks and a sick late night. Max behind the bar is the man. Best place to watch a sports game in AA. Love skeeps

So, we stopped by for a drink before a show at the Michigan Theater. Great experience great beer and drinks but the bartender was straight up picking his nose and did not wash his hands. Go for an authentic dive experience. Love the place

Why is this old guy who shouldn't even be caught in this kind of college bar be reviewing this place...well because I had a blast there with my daughter. I have been around this place and wondered who the hell would wait in the freeze cold to get in. No way I could have been convinced to wait. Well graduation weekend came and my daughter said come celebrate / party with her and the MDT one last time, don't worry we can get you in. She had her connections, hopped the line and found a crazy wild fun loving crush of party people almost 1/3 my age. Had a round of drinks with the team and the DJ and it was soon way past bedtime and outta there to let kids do what kids love to do. If I was three decades younger and in school I can see this as an alternative to what I did which was study, LOL

A great place if you want to get sexually assaulted. As a woman I've had more bad experiences here than the frats. Additionally the music is usually bad and the floors feel like they haven't been cleaned in 20 years. The worst bar in Ann Arbor in my opinion and it's only popular because it caters to minors.

This is the most discriminating organization I have ever been to in my entire life. I am legally blind since I was seven years old and I walked past the bouncer because I did not see them and I was thrown out of the club and humiliated, so embarrassed in front of all of my friends because I did not see the bouncer and could not give them my ID even though I was 21 years old. This club has brought me so much sadness and shame and hurt. Please do not support this bar in any way.

This place is terrible and perpetuates rape culture. The bouncers have been rude to me every time I've been there, even if I wasn't drinking. My friend was locked into the DJ booth while I was texting her. She was unable to exit despite asking the DJ to let her out and he wouldn't let her. I told the bouncers that I was concerned she was locked in and they laughed in my face. They also let underage students drink while older men lurk in the corners watching.

Wow! Waited 30 min for drinks, given the wrong drinks because the bartenders wasn't listening then ordered food and the "kitchen is closed"@ 5 pm wtf this is a shit hole and shot show

Dear skeeps: It is the elite 8 and u still have tables. U are reducing ur revenue per square foot as well as ur loyal customers enjoyment. Next time, please move the tables to increase revenue and enjoyment!

Legendary spot, went all the time in college and went back this last weekend when in town. Listen, it is what it is: if you want a place with good drink deals, fun music, dancing and a good crowd it's perfect. If you are looking for a fine dining establishment or fancy cocktails or a quiet place for a night cap, I don't know what to tell you. It's fun!!!!!

Scorekeepers, more fondly known as "Skeeps," is a fantastic place to go out to on a weekend night if you are looking for something fun to do. It is merely a five dollar cover most nights, a small price to pay for an always memorable night. The pitcher drinks they sell are a great way to get a bang for your buck while also enjoying the flavor profiles and alcohol to mixer ratio. There is an upper deck if you're looking for more of a people watching moment and a lower floor level if you're looking to dance! Great place, can't recommend enough and can't wait to go back!!!

Everything I said before still stands, BUT I wanted to add that Skeeps now participates in this GoodDining program, which donates 2.5% of your total bill to your chosen charity if you pay with a registered card. Also, apparently Skeeps' pre-authorization charge for keeping a tab open is $75, which struck me as ridiculous (and I freaked out for a bit when I saw they'd charged $75 on my card instead of the $28.50 I'd authorized). But after a few days, the correct amount posted on my statement.

very scary and hostile environment. the bouncer who had "uncle T" on his shirt acted absolutely insane and said he would hit a girl if he wasn't a man. This was all because she accidentally bumped into him. There were other staff members that had to get involved and they apologized on behalf of the bouncer. Uncle T claimed he was the manager, however I don't think this is true and I hope that girl followed up with them because what he did is considered a threat. I cant imagine how the girl who he threatened felt because even I left the bar feeling very shaken up and unsafe. I didnt even ended up going in after that and I don't ever plan to; I advice all women who do decide to go there to look out for him.

I know people probably aren't reading reviews of popular college bars but this place is a literal nightmare. My friend and I got physically shoved out of the bar by the owner because my friend was in the medium between the mens bathroom and the hallway suggesting we use the mens bathroom because the line for the women's was very long. The owner threatened to call the police on my friend which was fair and she acknowledged that and said that's fine we'll wait for the women's but she rolled her eyes and the owner who apparently is on a constant power trip saw and freaked out. He said to leave so she said okay but he then started shoving her so I told him to take his hands off of her and then he started shoving me. He pulled out his phone and started recording him shoving us as if we were doing something wrong. We were begging him to stop touching us and telling him we'd leave but he kept basically punching us in the back and physically removed us from the bar. It was absolutely dehumanizing. I think it's easy to write this situation off as two drunk college girls causing trouble but I was sober at this point of the night and while my friend made a mistake in suggesting we use the mens bathroom I did literally nothing wrong. Later on in the night my father called and spoke to the owner and he refused to share the video with him. I'm assuming this is because the video only shows the owner touching us while we beg him to stop lol. During the phone call, the owner said he'd report my dad for threatening him (which he absolutely did not) and that I was in the mens bathroom which gave him the right to touch me. Again, I did not even consider going into the mens bathroom and told my friend no despite there already being four other girls in there (which the owner had no problem with apparently). The owner is a little guy so I guess physically assaulting female guests is how he gets off. My dad also spoke to the cops considering this was basically assault and apparently the owner is a hothead who does this often. They say you can't fight him unless you're rich which was apparent to me when we stepped outside and no one including a cop would listen to what my friend and I had to say. When we left, the owner followed us outside and called over some police that were across the street and we spoke to a female cop who suggested we wait for our ride around the corner. I don't particularly care to take legal action but I know for a fact I could. The owner also hung up twice while on the phone with my dad which is super mature and not suspicious at all! Anyways, 0/10 stars, seriously do not recommended. Push Ricks instead! :)

Tuesday is $2 coronas, no cover, and $3 tequila shots. Great place to come on not only Tuesday but spot game days. Tables get moved at night and make way for a large dance area. There are three different levels to the bar and two bars located inside and can accommodate a few hundred people. Two balcony overhangs look over the dancing area with the famous M wall for photographs. Bar downstairs is right by the bathrooms after you walk in and the best spot to grab a drink. Very hard to get a drink sometimes because of the influx of people but bartenders are good at what they do. Make sure you check the prices because they change nightly. For example, on Saturday mixed drink pitchers were $8 but on Tuesdays when there's other specials they go up to $12. Also- try the chicken tenders! Great bar/late night food. Even if tables are removed on the dance floor area you can fine some on the balconies, or in the front area where there are booths that don't move during the night.

Waited 10 mins to be greeted at a table. No one ever showed. We were passed by 4 different employees. One screaming about who had her vape. She looked at the our table and walked away. Bartender made eye contact then continued to watch the hockey game on tv. This place is a joke. Worst service I've ever had. Will never be back. Only given one star because 0 isn't an option.

Amazing. Just all around amazing. The quality of their chicken tenders is unparalleled by any restaurant in Ann Arbor. As for the entertainment, skeeps is the most bumpin bar for any Thursday or Saturday night.

Best place ever!!! Had the most amazing experience with all of my friends. From the second we walked in the door, skeeps made us feel welcome. Keith is amazing. The kindest, beet person that I've ever met in my life. Truly one of the greasiest nights I've ever had because of Keith. Hi hanks skeeps. See you soon.

S'keepers is scary, but more for the leering frat dudebros and the rest of the crowd than for any other reason. Current magazine recently threw a fest/night-of-shows where they booked rock/indie bands and DJs at various bars around town. For some strange reason, they booked a lot of sports bars. Mega-weird, but hey, why not play along? Some friends ended up playing at S'keepers for this event, so I stopped in for the second time ever. Without the meathead scene, you were able to appreciate the space itself, which is actually kinda cool. There is a small stage area, with a little set-off crow's-nest/loft seating area up off to the side. The DJ booth is really well-equipped, and the decor is sort of wonderful and hilarious -- 70s ski-lodge meets sports memorabilia. A rowing/crew style boat in the same room as a giant buffalo head and an antler chandelier? Yes. The polo-shirted bouncers were a little jumpy (must not be used to tiny dudes in skinny jeans), but nice enough. Domestic beer was more than I thought it should be, but then I found out that if you got a (veggie or reg.) burger, you got a beer deal along with it. Food was decent for a bar, but I was starving, so anything would have done. Still, I can't say I would ever go back here on a regular night. I was tempted to imagine a time when someone could take the space over and project crazy video on all of the screens instead of football. But let's face it, it's a sports bar, and a sports bar it will stay. Not really my thing, but other people love it, and probably always will. I'll see you at the 8-ball instead.

Amazing space. This is place is big - multiple second-floor areas, terraced levels, well-designed circular bar-setup on the first-floor. Drinks are especially cheap here and if you're looking, there are plenty of cute 18 (16?) and up girls here. This is where you learn that Thursday is the new Friday. But, it's crowded, filled with d-bags and tools, the music is very predictable, and those cheap drinks are really weak. And it is just way too bright in this place sometimes. If I want to get wrecked could you please keep the lighting down so people don't see how trashed I am? But seriously, come here on a Thursday and see where the frat boys go when they turn 21. And if you're cute enough maybe you'll go home with one : )

I used to go to this place when it was Dooleys, (long time ago) and recently i had some friends in town for a football weekend, and seeing as we couldn't get tickets for the game we went to Scorekeepers, where they have the biggest big screen TV's in town, downtown anyway. We had prime seats at the bar, and at the end of the first quarter they came through and demanded our bar stools, asking us to stand for the rest of the game. Nobody told us that this was going to happen when we came in, and i thought it was pretty lousy to wait until we had beers and food in front of us, all so they could cram more people into a place that was already too crowded. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Some of the help are pretty snotty , also.

If I could describe the chicken tenders in any way, it's earth cluckering. They are so good that even a chicken would eat them (yeah I went there with chicken cannibalism). I tried them once on vacation and now I can't stop thinking about them. It answered the time old question of why did the chicken cross the road... The answer of course is to go to Scorekeepers to get turned into delicious delicious chicken tenders.

I love coming here when I feel like torturing myself during an MSU v UM game. I'm a black leather jacket among a sea of maize and blue mini skirts. I was told you are a cool kid if you manage to grab a table at this joint. I must be the uncoolest of them all because I'm always lurking around, milking my drink by the sidelines. I enjoyed this place for about 6 months as an undergrad when I lived a half a block away. Scorekeepers was the Tuesday rotation at the time. I turned into an 8 Ball girl real quick. It's just way too -- American Pie to me. The movie, not the past time.

Relatively big dance floor. The dance floor is overlit. Questionably young looking people end up here. Drinks are all right.

It would've been better if the service existed. The place was swamped so bad, we had to order our beers three times before we got them. We wound up getting our own napkins from the bar too. Great place to watch the game but not great on much else.

I went to the following establishment and the bartender was absolutely rude to my friends and I. He proceeded to yell at me and criticize my defense of my friends so I don't like the following bar for their unnecessary comments. Scorekeepers, or Skeeps as they call it, is your typical college town bar. If you catch it on the right night of the week, it's loud, dirty, crowded (we're talking sardine-style) and kind of fun (if you are hammered). Get your dance on and get a drink or two...but after a while the annoying drunkards can be too much to handle. For someone who is used to partying it up in posh Vegas nightclubs, I personally prefer a place that has a coat check...

Greek. Underage. Short dresses. Cheap drinks. A couple of 40 year old creeps. People literally throw their glasses when they've finished their drinks. Not for you if your actually 21. But besides that a pretty good time.

I used to go here all the time when I was in high school, so it doesn't surprise me that most of the reviews say the place is packed with kids. I was 15 the first time I went there and between this bar and a few others that never ID it was fun at that time in my life. Now I would have to either have to have a gift certificate worth like $500 bucks or get paid to go here

This place is great, I've only been here on a wednesday which has free Coney dogs with the purchase of two drinks. But I found out on friday they have free wings with two drinks. As Arnold used to say I'll be back. Highly recommend.

Literally every time my boyfriend drags me here we're two of maybe four people in the whole bar. Behind the bar is filthy and drinks are way overpriced based on quality/venue. Our last trip here my boyfriend asks the bartender what they have on tap to which the guy just points to a board we can barely read. Couldn't even list a few beers. Cold. However, he had no problem chatting with a few college girls that came in complaining of the dead bar. Maybe I'll like this place more if it's busy, but right now not a chance.

This place the perfect example of a fun, college bar! We came here as outsiders of the Ann about r area and I loved it!!!! We had Kaylen (not sure on the spelling) and she was awesome!! All of the service was great but she was great! She was newer and totally knew what to do and gave the BEST service !!! Such a fun place!

Best college bar in Ann Arbor! Always gets super busy, get there early. They play all Michigan games with sound (and other games on other teams without sound).

I will never go to this establishment again. Me and my friends got pushed out my secretary yesterday for being guys. At first we didn't understand why we got kicked out until we talked to our waitresses at good time Charles and she said her boyfriend use to work there and told her they kick guys out to keep the girl to guy ratio at a 2:1. My thing is, why let us in at the door just to forcefully turn us away after trying to go on the dance floor.

What kinds of Sports Bar is not opened on Sundays when NFL games are played or not opened when Monday Night Football is going on? Kinda of a joke to market itself as a Sports Bar.

Why am I here waiting in line for the past 2 hours, when there is a "separate VIP line" for those with skeeps cards or are willing to pay a ridiculous cover charge? I have been standing in the same space for the past 45 mins. The bouncer is fine and I understand it's not his fault. This just ruined my nice Michigan weekend trip :/

Excellent filet mignon. Quite the exquisite establishment. The lobster was a bit dry, but they compensated with the scrumptious caviar. Pie? Dont get me started... Execelent 10/10

This place needs to be gutted and burned down. There were flies and gnats at the bar and on the TV s and trash behind the bar on the floor from the night before. It felt like we were in a dungeon. The food was NASTY! Just..ewwww. Cold chicken wings, gross nachos. I noticed the bartender didn't ask the little girl next to me for her ID. I actually told the bartender all of this and he gave me 15% off...it should have been 100% free.

Oh, Skeeps. Wait in line, drink for cheap, and dance in multiple levels. Get to know the bartenders and it will be a better night. A staple in the UM experience, but not much more than that.
