Best Restaurants and Bars Around TD Garden | Eater Boston

"Maybe you got tickets to the game, or maybe you just want to watch the game while basking in very close proximity to all the action. With 33 TVs spread out across Scores’ sprawling, two-level space, it’s a good place to slip in for a quick pre-game meal or stay awhile over burgers, beer, and bowls of chili." - Erika Adams

Boston’s Best Sports Bars

"Say RIP to Fours, the venerable sports bar that once stood in this space, and say hello to Scores, the multi-level, moneyed-up sports bar that was erected in Fours’ ashes. Try the solid flatbreads, burgers, and snacks from a menu designed in part by an Abe & Louie’s vet, and keep an eye on what’s playing via their online TV guide here." - Eater Staff

Where to Drink Espresso Martinis in Boston This Winter | Eater

"Scores has all the ingredients of a solid sports bar. Multiple televisions visible from every conceivable angle? Check. A detailed schedule of the dozens of games they screen each week? Check. Fifty-cent wings? Check. Espresso martinis might not be a sports bar staple, but the solid rendition at Scores earns it extra points. Opening hours adjust to accommodate pre- and post-game traffic from TD Garden across the street, guaranteeing you can sip espresso martinis to caffeinate before and after the event." - Molly McDonough

Boston Restaurant Openings, June 2023 | Eater Boston

"Replacing the legendary sports bar Fours, Scores is a sprawling, bi-level restaurant and bar in the West End with dozens of big-screen TVs and plenty of space for watching the game; executive chef Humberto Gallardo, an alum of Grill 23 and Abe & Louie’s, has crafted a menu that includes burgers, flatbreads, wings, and a “Tatum” tot poutine." - Erika Adams

The staff was able and willing to swap tvs around to let us watch the game we wanted to and they have hands down, some of the best buffalo wings I've ever had. And I used to live near Buffalo NY, the home of buffalo wings.

Lots of potential here. TVs galore. Sports lovers dream, if… you can get your games on. I count 17 TVs on the Auburn game. 2 on the World Series game. Variety is the spice of life, my friends. Let’s spice it up! Strong service at the bar. Attentive-ish bartenders. Solid food. All the pieces are in place for a great sports bar…just put more games on the TVs 🤷‍♂️

Google
Run of your mill chain sports bar. Food definitely good and cheaper options for a more expensive part of Boston. 12 bucks for a solid 2 hotdogs and some good fries ain't so bad. Drinks are to expect, roughly 13 for any well drink to start. Yuengling for 3 dollars is nothing to scoff at though. Overall a great place to chill and drink before or after a bruins or celtics game

Google
This was our first time at Scores since changing over from the Fours, we went there Thursday night before the Bruins game and had an absolutely tasty dinner. We started off with the fried pickle spears, which I highly recommend they were so delicious if your a pickle lover like me!!! I ordered the Big Papi Burger & my hubby order the Bergeron Burger. We shared them, both burgers were so delicious and fresh. We absolutely loved the French fires! So fresh! We highly recommend both burgers. The restaurant was very clean, great selection of music & wicked awesome Boston Memorabilia! 😎 Our waitress was Olivia, and she was fantastic. Service with a smile! 😃 I like how she was recommending certain items off of the menu. She recommended the Big Papi burger, which I ended up getting and loved. It’s really refreshing to go to a restaurant and have top-notch service. Olivia definitely delivered that!!! We will definitely be back again!!!!

GOBIRDSDICKKHEADDDD What a game yesterday wow, great energy from the whole bar and our server Brooke was just delightful. Not to mention, amazeballspaul behind the bar! Tell that boy to take off the red socks jersey when you’re in designated birds territory!! Will return soon.

Google
Great wings, the best place for an eagles game. Jess there is the best and will give you all the recommendations for Boston and the nearby neighborhoods. The best place to watch a game AND wait for a commuter train

Google
I took my wife and mother here before the Celtics game on Sunday for Mother’s Day lunch! What a great game day atmosphere from the massive tv screens to the awesome classic rock playlist this place Is a MUST go to restaurant. My wife and mother split the Nachos for an appetizer and then they had The Big Baby flatbread! All the food was delicious and our server Fran was spectacular! If you’re walking around the TD Garden check this spot out!

Google
In general, it was a good place. I had finished most of my beer, but there was still some left, so I put a coaster on top of my glass. Then I went to the bathroom, leaving my wallet on the table and my bag on the chair. I was planning to finish the beer when I came back, but when I returned, they had taken it away and sent me a message saying, “You gotta go.” Of course, I wasn’t happy, but I wasn’t in the mood to fight with them.

Yelp

Yelp
My friends and I got tickets to game 4 to scores. Not only was scores at capacity by the time the event started (7 pm) there was a line down the block, all of which who were also ticket holders. We were then berated by the manager, who screamed profanities at the crowd and only allowed "reservations" to come inside. Their poor planning and lack of management really put a bad taste in everyone's mouths and I'm sure the 100s of people in line would feel the same. The security guard was very nice and did a great job

Yelp
The bars hours are updated on the site . The bar is super clean including the bathrooms . The vibe is a whole experience you can only obtain in Boston . The appetizers were good , and portion size is good for the price. . This includes for dinks in Boston . The parking is difficult but they do have a garage near by of paid parking .

Yelp
Came here before a Bruins game and was so pleasantly surprised! The place was packed but Bryce, our server, was excellent and was on top of everything. The burgers were awesome. Cooked perfectly and the toppings went really well. This is definitely my new pre-game spot!

Yelp
It's a good sports bar but would be cool if there was multiple women's stalls good food and service but that was annoying. Constantly a line.

Yelp
Went to Scores for the game on Friday night and had a great time. Vibes were awesome, Staff was great and food was good. Great energy the entire night watching the Celtics. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Bergeron burger...Awesome Service...awesome...so nice on a busy concert night at the garden and not enough servers Bartender...This is where they lost me. I was asked for my order and told him a glass of wine and a bourbon. He looked at me strange and said what, so I repeated my self and he seemed to take offence based on his response. Maybe he didn't but it felt that way. He poured a nice big glass of wine and he measured the bourbon. All other drinks that I watched were healthy free pours and it a inexpensive bourbon. I still tipped him but boy did that piss me off! I guess I'll stick to soda water and lime next time.

Yelp
Chicken wings, burgers, and beers before a Bruins game. Great stop! Would go back again. Also not as crowded as some of the othet bars/restaurants in the area before a game which was nice

Jimmy O.

Yelp
They have no structure to their door policy. They will randomly let people in as they ignore others. They truly need to get their stuff together soon. Once you get in the management and staff are killing their self to give great service. This place will be fine!

Chris C.

Yelp
Went to a Celtics game and stopped in here for drinks and wings. Got the mango habanero and BBQ wings, best I've had in a while. Tons of TV's and overall great atmosphere to watch a game.
