Came on a solo date after hearing great reviews and wanted to try a new (to me) spot. This coffee shop is very cute, brightly lit with natural lighting, and has a chill energy to it. The staff were nice and talked to me about their options, seating was a little limited inside but I was able to find an open seat. There is also seating outside that I’ll probably use next time when the weather is nice. I tried the hot chai latte and mushroom toast. The mushroom toast was incredible! I wish the egg would’ve been cooked just slightly longer so the whites would’ve been more set. The toast was crispy, the mushrooms were perfectly cooked and savory, and everything balanced each other out. The latte was warm and tasty. It’s on par with other chai lattes I’ve had so next time I’ll get something different. They also had some wine options which I found interesting! Overall this coffee shop is cute and I’ll be coming back.

Scorpio stings—and I like it. Call me kinky. Scorpio’s drinks are brewed with precision. And with roasters like DAK and Sey in the mix, you’re sipping from a bean lineup that could headline Coachella. But where Scorpio really struts is the signature drink lineup. The Matcha Cream Soda? Iconic. I gasped. I sipped. I ordered another. And don’t pass on the food. The Strawberry Miso Toast with fresh ricotta and honey? Weird and wonderful—like if Björk were a brunch item. And the Mushroom Toast? A moody little masterpiece crowned with that sexy onsen egg. Total main character energy. Yes, the prices can make your wallet clench, and the portions...well, this ain't Costco. But the quality? Elevated. The ingredients? Thoughtful. The dietary labels? Clearer than your ex’s intentions. Veg-heads, gluten-free girlies, and oat milk lovers—you’re covered. The staff is sweet. The vibe? Chic Japandi minimalism. The comfort level? Somewhere between "Instagrammable" and "glad I have my chiropractor on speed dial." And unless you’re dining duo-style, good luck scoring a table—this place was clearly designed by someone who hates group projects. All tea, no shade—Scorpio Coffee brings something special to Sacramento’s coffee scene, and I am absolutely here for it. You should be too. Just maybe don’t come with a crowd. 😉 How I break down my ⭐️ reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷‍♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥

Took a quick walk here while waiting for an appointment and had some delicious mushroom toast. Definitely not something you see often and it was delicious. The regular coffee was good but not to my taste. Little too bright and sharp. Definitely an artisanal type of brew vs just a regular cup of Joe. Staff was very friendly and the room was bright and clean. Suspect parking can be a bit of an issue. Recommended.

This was a surprisingly delicious find. I loved the coffee. I've been trying different drinks there and everyone I've had has been superb. Fast service and pretty easy to find parking. Slightly crowded on the weekend but not too bad. The pastry options and the food options are amazing as well. Very unique but amazingly presented and absolutely delicious. The cookies are awesome too. Highly recommended!

A cafe gem in downtown sacramento! Beautiful japandi interior, cozy beats, great coffee from a variety of specialty coffee roasters, eclectic wines and a few thoughtfully prepared small bites to choose from! I wanted to try their popular Strawberry Miso Toast, but missed the cut off, so be sure to come by before 4pm for their toasts! At 5pm they release their dinner menu, which includes a a few creative small plates that change seasonally. (weekends only) The day I stopped by, my bf and I just stuck to their matcha latte ( asked for sweetner to be added) and a flat white. Both were solid. They use matcha from Kettl, a popular brand from NY. They use coffee beans from Sey Coffee, Dak Coffee Roasters, Regalia Coffee and Frukt Coffee. I did see most people were working in the cafe, they have several tables, wifi and outlets, perfect for wfh. Staff were very kind and informative, overall the perfect cafe to wfh or just relax in:)

Fabulous coffee and chill vibe. It was obvious that their bean selection and brewing recipe is purposefully tuned. We also tried the strawberry miso toast and it is very uniquely pleasant.

I’ve only eaten here once, but the experience was not good. My auntie & me shared a miso strawberry toast, that I ended up not liking and, I also got a matcha latte which tasted mainly like milk; both were disappointing. Yet it doesn’t compare to how bad we were treated by the owner here. We arrived & ordered, then while waiting for our food/drink my aunt gets the urge to use the bathroom, unfortunately they didn’t have a working restroom so an employee directs her to go to a auto mechanic shop down the street..apparently, the auto mechanic shop owner wasn’t pleased since the coffee shop had been sending their customers there for a few hour to use the bathroom so in result my auntie gets told off by him. She returns, lets an employee know about the incident then he tells her she can try Safeway except it’s not walking distance, so now she has to drive there.. & keep in mind this is downtown she quickly loses her parking spot. By the time she gets back I have to use the restroom! And that’s the least of it, she then asked to be compensated by a refill on her coffee, not only did she get told no but the owner came out and accused her of harassing his employees; he was overall extremely unprofessional and belittling towards us, not what’d I expect from an owner.. it seemed he had extreme difficulty regulating his emotions. Anyways, this was just my and my aunt’s experience. I understand the owner is human and he could’ve just had a bad day.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon, totally new to Sacramento by the way, and it was pleasantly full but not overly so. They do have a few outdoor seats, but the inside was clean and tidy. The cashier was sweet and answered my questions. I ordered the chai latte with oat milk and it tasted delicious!! It might be one of the better chai’s that I’ve tried. I’m so happy with my visit and look forward to returning :D
