🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 What a hidden gem! Tucked away in an industrial area, this sandwich shop is absolutely worth finding. The hot sandwiches are incredible—especially the BLT and grilled cheese. Perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, and made fresh. Friendly service, laid-back vibe, and seriously good food. I highly recommend!

Scottie’s is a great locals TAKE-OUT place!! If you’re looking for a solid sandwich, hot or cold, burgers, fried foods, etc., this is the locals go to place. You won’t find it in a traditional restaurant type of location, It’s located in a business center, but it’s worth the time to go find it! Enjoy!!

WOW!! Best breakfast sandwich and service I have EVER had! I’m from the east coast, Maryland specifically and let me tell you I have had a breakfast sandwich from just about every famous breakfast place on the east coast but Scotties breakfast sandwiches are easily the BEST I have ever had. The owner was so incredibly friendly and talked to us about the history of the restaurant, these folks are passionate about what they do and providing high quality AMAZING breakfast and lunch food. The prices are absolutely awesome. Know before you go: they only accept cash or check but they have an ATM on site, if you bring $40 or even $25 you can get breakfast and drinks for two people easily! I can not say enough how much I appreciated the quality food and great service, felt like home!

Excellent. No frills just quality food. Had breakfast. Generous with bacon. French toast perfect. Bagel done to protection. Highly recommend

Excellent diner food at a reasonable price. Fried egg sandwich with bacon, daily special, no bad choices. We go out of our way to eat here if we're at all close. Not much seating. Cash, check, no cards.

Yummmmm!!! Took a day trip around Colorado and found this little place. We were not disappointed!!! Friendly service and wonderful food. Hubster has the hot ham sandwich and I had the "down valley trucker". It's great finding tiny little places that have great food!

We ordered 50 breakfast burritos for a client meeting. The burritos were a very generous size. The clients went crazy over them! So after the meeting I decided to try one. I had the bacon breakfast burrito. Because it was sitting in the tray for over an hour it was a little cold . But still, what a delicious breakfast burrito. Can't wait to try one when it's hot off the grill!! Come check this place out. It's a little hidden , but those that know ..... know.

Food in this area stinks so to have a little lunch spot with fire sandwiches is pretty dope. Tocho mocho with house made hot sauce on gluten free bread which they head on the flat top with some fat is really good and my dad who is super pickle and from Philly likes his cheese steak. 5/5 for sure!

please post an up to date menu with current prices , walked over i live nearby got a couple 2 -3 sandwiches to try all good but happy i brought extra cash or i'd be washing dishes ,

Simple food. Quick grab and go. I personally not a fan but many people swear by it. I will go again

Family and I had a week long vacation in Colorado, and one of our stops was in Aspen. Upon leaving Aspen we had to get gas and Basalt, CO was the closest town to Aspen, so I searched for food places in Basalt and found this local GEM on Yelp. We almost went to Glenwood Springs for breakfast (it's a bigger city with more options) but so glad I found Scottie's. This place was packed on a rainy/snowy early morning with regulars. We were greeted with the owners - super friendly and they made our food fresh and fast. We got 4 sandwiches and a burrito. Everything was AMAZING. It ended up being the best breakfast we had during our trip! Support local businesses and eat at Scottie's!

This is a small place without a lot of seating. A lot of people getting food to go. The Reuben was great and a great price for this area. They are cash only. Very friendly staff.

A Hidden gem in our mid valley, this place has unbelievable tacos on Tuesday. Specials on other days are also amazing.

Good food made fresh and fast really tasty breakfast sandwiches subs were good too. Staff is nice. Not a sit down place or much atmosphere which could justify 4 stars but the food is just too good to not give Scotty and his amigos 5 stars!

Probably the best sandwich within 100 miles. The downvalley trucker is so good I have a hard time ordering anything else.

So delicious. Daniel and the crew hooked us up for lunches and the fam loved it so much we got carry out breakfast and sandwiches for our lunch later on the ATV ride. Friendly, fast and sooooo good! Great breakfast sandwiches to start off a long day. Cookies to top off the sandwiches! We are actually thinking of getting a take-out for a 3rd day in a row for our trip back to Denver tomorrow. Fast, tasty sandwiches and specials catering to the working man. Scot is a friendly man who runs a small, neat place to grab a quick bite, a cup of coffee, read the local newspapers, and get back to work fast. Ranks high for being great at what it does. Gourmet sit-down? Go elsewhere! It's just a tiny hole-in-the-wall in an industrial park with lots of small businesses, snowmobile repair shop, that sort of thing. But for a quick breakfast before work or a bite at lunch break, it's marvelous.

I was so excited to find a solid Italian sub. The preparation was quick and the sub was fresh and very good.

Great little locals place. We had the breakfast sandwich and breakfast quesadilla and they both were made to order and exceptional and priced right! The medium salsa was orange in color but so dang good! The people were very nice and the place clean. My coffee snob husband even said the coffee was good.

Scotties is an awesome local's eatery in Basalt, Colorado. Owned and operated by Scott for 25 years, the restaurant offers, "good food fast" as the slogan would indicate. Serving breakfast and lunch with a focus on sub-sandwiches, I can always find something that suits my mood (no gourmet!). My favorite is the Wirks, which is a combination of turkey, bacon, avocado, and provolone on a sub roll that's fresh from the oven the morning of. Breakfast is served from 6am till 10am, offering killer burritos, tasty breakfast sandwiches and breakfast platters. Scotties also offers awesome daily specials that will range in taste from American, Mexican, Italian and anything in between. Extremely clean operation open from 6am till 4pm five days a week. Sorry, no weekends!

Would love to give this more stars but they make cold sandwiches (and all food) without gloves after handling money! Pretty gross. Would have enjoyed otherwise. Nice service but just bad practice.

Killer breakfast that hits all the right spots. They have sandwiches, specials, chips, ice cream...if you could want it, they have it. Definitely a necessary stop whenever in Basalt.

I work close by and eat there regularly the food is great I highly recommend the Tocho egg sandwich just fantastic. Daily special are also very good.

Scott is a really great guy, and whats more-his food is amazing. He always asks how my dad is doing. Just a great place for brrakfast or lunch.

Scotties was a fantastic lunch! I feel so lucky we found it when we were passing through the last time we were in Colorado. It was delicious and the staff was just great. I look forward to the next time we're out west and getting another sandwich from Scotties!

My mom and I stopped here on our way back from Snowmass Village. We loved it. It's a great place to grab a no frills, delicious home made sandwich. There's a couple picnic tables outside and the people that work there are quick and friendly. Can't wait til I'm back in Colorado to go there again.
