We took the tour of Hampden Park and Museum on Sunday 7th December for my Grandsons 10th Birthday. The admission price was very reasonable with the tour lasting 1 hour. The tour guide was excellent, very informative and pleasant. A very relaxing pace allow ing time for photos and questions. On completion of the tour we spent some considerable time in the museum, which had excellent memorabilia and magnificent trophies. My Grandson highlight was scoring a goal on the training area and winning at table football. Real bragging at school, scoring a goal at Hampden. The only disappointment was the lack of a gift shop, hopping to have bought a souvenir. I would throughly recommend the Tour as it was interesting and enjoyable. A big thank you to all the staff.

Had a brilliant time on the Hampden Park Stadium Tour and Museum! Our guide, Callum, was fantastic – really knowledgeable, funny, and made the whole tour engaging from start to finish. It was great to learn so much about Scotland’s football history and get a behind-the-scenes look at the national stadium. The museum is full of fascinating memorabilia too. Would definitely recommend to any football fan (or even if you’re just curious about Scottish sport in general)!

Amazing experience ! I offered my boyfriend the stadium and museum tour and it was really fun. We had some traffic problems so we couldn’t arrived on time but the staff was very friendly and let us do the tour ! Our guide, George was an absolute gem, and the tour was really informative and interesting. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something unique football wise

The tour and museum were excellent. Andy led our tour, kept everyone safe behind the yellow line in the roadway. Not only did he navigste us safely through the bowels of Hampden Park, he did so with expert knowledge and witticism even drawing from personal experience. Football fans would absolutely love the tour and museum but I think there is even enough for non-football fans to appreciate. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and obliging. From the reception, the cafe to the museum staff; all were sound and pleasant to deal with. Well worth a visit.

My boys had the best time when we came for a tour in September! The tour guide was super knowledgeable and made it very fun. It would be great to have a gift shop as my boys were keen to buy a souvenir as a momento of the day. Highly recommended.

I went to the tour of the stadium and museum with my 14 year old son. It is well worth a visit. Andy the tour guide was really knowledgeable and very good with trivia and letting us take our time and photos. We saw all of what happens behind the scenes in the coach drop off zone, ref’s room, changing rooms, warm up area and went pitch side. The museum is packed full of memorabilia and information. Well worth the money and the trip.

Yelp
If you love football this is a fabulous visit. We took the tour of Hampden stadium and then went in the museum. Tom was our tour guide and can't imagine anyone better. Tour ran over..a lot. We asked questions and he talked and never said we have to wrap it up. Museum very well done.

Yelp
the scottish football museum is located within the new hampden stadium building on the south side of glasgow it claims to have the world's oldest football letter- and why not since football was first played/invented over on the east coast of scotland on leith links allegedly (or was that golf) - but don't tell them edinburgh punters ! not sure why a letter should be so important but it apparently dates from 1868 obviously with football being so important to the scottish psyche this venue should be on the list of all men (and women) who spend the week discussing their respective team's goals (or lack of) they have a maradonna shirt from the scotland-1 /argentina-3 game of 1979 (oops) but apparently we forgave him after the england fiasco there is a scottish hall of fame where all the greats are mentioned especially people we will never forget eg jock stein, jim baxter, matt busby, bill shankly, tommy burns, george best personally my preference is for concerts eg last year's george michael :) open 7 days (subject to events) with daily tours (bit expensive) - free parking - good local transport - gift shop
