Server Naomi is awesome! She's so sweet and attentive. We loved all our food. We were a party of 6 and were sat quickly in a comfortable booth. Everyone ordered something different and the only thing we didn't like was the flat bread pizza. The crust was doughy and it didn't have much flavor. But the loaded fries and stroganoff were phenomenal! Prices are pretty steep. Our disappointment came when we went to play some of their games. They have 11 machine games and 7 of them are out of service or don't have an out of order sign but stole about $5 worth of quarters from us and the air hockey will take your money and not work. My kids were super bummed out that the games mostly didn't work. This left them with 1 skeeball game, a motorcycle game, half of the air hockey table, and 1 of the 2 claw games. (There are still 2 pool tables and a Foosball table, but Foosball is also out of order). I'd recommend for the food but not for the entertainment.

Had a "mixed" experience on our first visit to Scout. On the positive side our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food arrived quickly and was pretty good. Unfortunately shortly after ordering the fire alarm went off in the restaurant and was unbearably loud. We shifted our seats to outside picnic tables which weren't too comfortable, but at least the noise was diminished somewhat. The alarm continued for approximately 20ish minutes as apparently no one in the restaurant knew how to turn it off. The draft beer selection was a little thin (maybe 6-7 choices, mostly generic). They did have some interesting canned beers (I tried a blue raspberry sour which was quite good). The atmosphere was more gaming oriented than restaurant oriented, although few were playing any games. It might be a funner place to visit with a big group. Despite the informal atmosphere, the prices were on the high side, with the two of us paying $66 before tip (included one mixed drink, two canned beers, two entrees, but no sides and no dessert). May give it another chance to try the gaming rather than just a meal, and hopefully the fire alarm will stay off!

This place is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere and drink selection with a full bar. The location is a great, right on the river walk. Definitely a good spot to bring friends and family to hangout. There is indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. There are also arcade games for your kids/inner child. The manager Justin was very helpful and friendly.

Google
It is a very interesting sports bar and restaurant next to the man made river. It is spacious both inside and outside. It has some games e.g. pool table, basketball, air hockey, bike. Staffs are friendly. Food is ok. We ordered Loaded Fried which is huge and Fried is not as crispy as I expected but in general it is a good snack with cold beer. Beef chili is tasty but overly greasy for me.

Google
Fun place and good food and drinks!! As a bar this is good but as a restaurant music is too loud. Heard the same complaint from many Gen X people and younger. Lowered my rating from 5 to 3 at grand opening. Feel like nobody cares if we are satisfied or not. The bartender admitted after my daughter couldn’t drink their “DR Pepper” that their sodas are off brand sodas like you’d buy at a bulk grocery store.

Papi Sorrels

Google
This is such a beautiful place to hang at. Wow! The Riverwalk is beautiful, the food is top notch. We had Landon as a bartender and he made a PERFECT old fashioned. The bands here are great. One night they had an 80’s tribute and another night was a half dueling piano show. Order the “scooby snacks” or the Meatloaf Melt Sandwich.

Google
Took my brother to dinner here for his birthday. Everything was great. Nice staff, tasty food, and the games were functional, and reasonably priced. Played a couple rounds of air hockey, pool & skiball.

Google
SCOUT on Riverwalk in Flower Mound served as the host location for Flower Mound High School’s first graduating class (2002), 20 year reunion. The food was excellent. The drinks were refreshing. They only dedicated one server for our group, and Shawn did an excellent job trying to keep up with the group.

David S.

Yelp
Continue to find a good array of drinks from budget=friendly to high-end. Family-friendly bar/restaurant that has friendly servers and a good selection of food ranging from bar-style to original ideas that just seem to work. Their Monte Cristo is a wonderfully rich combination of the traditional sandwich dipped into funnel cake batter with a raspberry jam dipping sauce. I was only able to eat half because it is so rich but was perfect to share with my wife. I have had the Reuben sandwich before and it is more a 2.0 version with a high quality meats that were smoked next door. We have also had chicken wings there, some nights look out for $1.00 wings during games. I'm a fan of the mango habanero which here is done as a dry rub and much less messy on the hands. They are good-quality, good-sized drums and flats. A wonderful treat to try with them is the blue-cheese dip. Trust me and just ask for an extra one while ordering. Wait times can be hit or miss here depending on crowd size, but in general it has always been a solid performance in service, food, and atmosphere. There are games to help keep the kids busy if you bring them and weekend nights they sometimes have live bands outside pending weather.

Paul D.

Yelp
Great service. Exceptional fish and chips. I loved that they have things for the kids to play with. What would I change? The Old Fashioned was too orange. It needs to be darker. I would have preferred more whiskey and gin drinks on the menu instead of vodka and tequila. These are my own personal preferences and should not cost Underdogs a star.

Dana K.

Yelp
Underdogs could be renamed underwhelming... Bummed that this was my experience, but I wouldn't recommend nor will I return. From the espresso martini to the burnt end sliders no bueno. Only reason they aren't receiving 1 star is our waitress was good and the hummus saved my meal. $45 before tip for 1 drink and 2 appetizers was way too much for the quality and what I received.

Lexi H.

Yelp
My friend and I came here Friday night after dinner. This was the most lively bar on the Riverwalk. We grabbed some green tea, shots and a beer. The kitchen closes at 10, so we didn't grab any food. Inside, there's a ton of different arcade games for the family, and some games on the patio. Next-door at Pennywise, which is connected, there's live music on the patio that you can hear from underdogs too.

Sally C.

Yelp
One star for food - literally nothing we had was good. Fried pickles were soggy. Ranch was so bland it was criminal. Queso was tasteless. Save yourself the money and just don't eat! That said, it gets 2 stars for the vibe. Great place to watch the game and have a drink.

Emme D.

Yelp
Love Love Love the Happy Hour here especially when the weather is perfect. Whether you want to chill with friends and enjoy the scenery, hang with friends at the bar and watch football, or enjoy a live band... this place has it all. Definitely try the mushroom burger (I had them hold the bacon) and the Pimento cheese balls. Sooo delish!

Brian P.

Yelp
As a local business owner for flower mound i usually have no problem supporting other local businesses but this one has rubbed me the wrong way. I live in the community next to this business and won't be back. I don't recommend this business due to how racist I've seen there manger Hal or Hale (he has glasses) treat someone and how inappropriate this man looked at my daughter who is underage. Long as he is employed my family and friends will not go. I am stressing to the community do not support this business if they will employ people who engage in activities as such. This took away from the food and atmosphere us a patrons were looking when coming in to spend money. I would not recommend if you are coming in town or living in the area. There are other places close by where you don't have to deal with this type of nonsense.

Eric J.

Yelp
Way overpriced. Paid close to $90 on 2 burgers, 2 beers and 2 kids meals. I know the economy is rough but that's ridiculous.... Staff was friendly and helpful. Only saving thing. Very empty restaurant at the time I went but the outdoor "riverwalk" was nice.

David B.

Yelp
We went to Underdogs to watch a playoff game recently.. we were rooting for the burnt orange team, but didn't expect the chicken tenders to be that color. We were very disappointed with the unseasoned, overcooked tenders that were served. I had a salad with my tenders and it was good. I am giving them a three-star review because our server was attentive. The location provided a good place to watch the game. I would love to have regular places to visit here. But, with service of food like this, it is hard to do so. Hope you can get your kitchen trained on cooking, seasoning and how to change the fryer grease.

Gina J.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and really want to like it but the service is always so and it seems like the bar is always backed up. The food is mediocre at best. I keep waiting for a great restaurant to open at Riverwalk but not yet.

Chris C.

Yelp
If I could give it a negative star I would. The food is absolutely putrid and unedible, the service was terrible waited 45 min for a beer they watered-down and the staff is extremely rude. The seats and tables are filthy and disgusting still chunks of food all over the seats and tables so many bugs flies and Nats every where, bathroom was filthy. I would describe it as a run down 3rd world shack that serves road kill. This is a $70 pulled pork sandwich.. $70 dollars for some road kill, wet fries and a water down beer in a dirty glass. I WILl NEVER RETURN, AND TELL EVERYONE!

Alyssa L.

Yelp
Food wasn't my favorite, but we didn't go to eat...just for live music and great weather. Wait staff was friendly and the live music was great the outdoor area was so clean and inviting. Perfect spot for a night out.

Ariana D.

Yelp
All day happy hour. Sliders are a full meal. Ambience is amazing and weather was perfect. Wait staff was friendly and service was quick. Definitely recommend

Mark S.

Yelp
Food was good but service was slow. Good place to go for a beer and bar food. A lot of TV's to Watch sports

Lilian z.

Yelp
What a great addition to Flo Mo! Every time I've come here the service has been incredible! The staff is so personable and takes this place over the top. Good Food and the live music + on the river walk makes this a great spot anyway anytime. In my opinion the regular fries are not that great but the sweet potato fries are perfectly crispy and salty! Definitely a new go-to for my family.

Sophia D.

Yelp
Shit owner, throws people out based on "liability reasons". Will never come back. Doesn't give people reasons to explain themselves just throws you out or cuts you off based on her own observations/assumptions

Santanu S.

Yelp
Although it was dinner time, the restaurant was far from busy. There were only a few customers and all but one all at the bar. Including the bartender, there were as many customers as there were waitstaff. Rather than take up a table, I decided to eat at the bar. As soon as I sat, the bartender provided a menu. I do not often see Sam Adams on tap. I requested the Samuel Adams Wicked Hazy as I have yet to have it. Unfortunately, the tap ran out just before I arrived. Since it is bottled, I had better luck with the Revolver Blood and Honey. I ordered the restaurant's namesake, The Underdog. When I initially held the cheeseburger, the bottom bun was slight soggy. Fortunately, the bun never came close to falling apart. Normally, I am not a fan of crunchy ingredients in a hamburger. These potato spirals with the lime green taste was definitely an exception. I could not put the burger down after the first bite. I also liked getting a taste of the poblano with every bite. After eating half the burger, I decided to try the fries. I enjoyed the slightly crispy exterior and soft interior. They also had the right amount of seasoning, so I was not tasting a bland potato. After finishing The Underdog, I ate as much as the fries as I could. Once I finished my meal, I saw the bartender approaching the bar. Rather than check on any of the customers at the bar, he headed straight to talk to one of the waitresses. After some time, they interrupted their conversation when a regular sat at the bar by them. Eventually, I did get my check so I could leave.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Food was absolutely horrible! Fried pickles were over cooked and dark brown without any pickle flavor at all, hockey pucks literally. Tex sandwich with burnt ends sandwiched between two patties had very little BBQ meat and what was there was so rubbery that I had to remove the small pieces for fear of choking. No one in the family was able to complete their meal due to lack of flavor and horrible preparation. If you pay $18 for a hamburger you expect a certain quality and it was not there. On top of the food the mixed drinks were not tasty either and no one could enjoy them. In all negative stars! Never again!

Vince M.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! Great games and atmosphere. Kid friendly, will come again.

Michelle R.

Yelp
The ambiance has a great vibe. From family gatherings to kid and pet friendly. It's a place for everyone. The service was consistent. They were constantly checking in on our group. It was great. The food looked great . I didn't try it but my group mentioned how yummy everything was. I look forward to the small music venues this summer

Nic G.

Yelp
Doomed to fail! This supposed revamped Riverwalk restaurant and bar is lackluster with a blah menu I don't know what the identity of the place is, from restaurant, bar, or wannabe Dave and Busters. Upon sitting at a bar area booth we got drinks and an appetizer (burnt end sliders)... so bad they were cold with little blocks of meat then some random cold carrot throw on top... I would give those a negative score if I could! The. The burgers were alright, but when you decide to add surprises like pimento cheese and not state that that's not cool. So when you order a burger a maybe a roll of the dice of what you actually get!!! I would recommend 5 other places to go for a better burger.... Start with Culver's!, even Jake's! This place isn't worth the price point... wagyu burgers are a joke... you ground up everything that makes it special....wagyu steak, yes!

Keely D.

Yelp
We are so sad! This used to be one of our faves. We came & everything has changed except the queso. No more sweet potato fries, just sweet potato chips. The Nashville hot chicken had 2 measly chicken tenders on it. The big Tex had two nasty Pattie's on it, barely any cheese, and some chunks of I don't know what on it. We used to get the same things and it's completely changed. Seriously heartbreaking. I will say the waitress was very sweet & understanding. So props to her!

Robert R.

Yelp
Very Poor Service. My wife and I went there to see if we can watch the Euro Cup final soccer game and basically sat for over 30 minutes without no one coming to our table. On 3 occasions we kindly called on 3 different waiters to please take our order but they would not even answer and in one occasion one of the waiters just yelled "What do you want?!" I finally asked to speak to the manager but did not get anywhere as it seemed that this is normal behavior. Would not recommend...stay away from here...there are tons of excellent sports bar all around

Richard T.

Yelp
Service was great, way too over priced for simple smash burgers and fries. Wait and bar stuff helpful and courteous but save your 17$ when you can get an average burger at Braum's for 7.50. 70$ for two with drinks.

Brittany D.

Yelp
We had a fabulous experience here! We had several of the mimosa flavors for brunch and a Bloody Mary. The bar staff was on point! Our waitress was Mallory and she was wonderful! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Meri F.

Yelp
Underdogs was decidedly underwhelming. Their menu looked really good but the best I can say is that it was just okay. Burger was too greasy and for the price of a gourmet burger ($18), I was expecting a gourmet bun of some kind. Granddaughter ordered fruit with her kids meal, which turned out to be a prepackaged Dole fruit cup. She was so disappointed and wouldn't eat it. Even worse was the service. It took nearly an hour to get our food. They comped the kids meal my granddaughter didn't eat and one beer on our order. Their arcade needs to be marked with prices and signs posted if coins won't actually work. We lost a few bucks in quarters bc apparently the coin slot is broken. But they don't own the machines so couldn't reimburse us. Lame. All in all, very underwhelming.

Cj M.

Yelp
Location! Location! Location! Trendy area in Flower Mound on the Riverwalk. Tasty burgers and champion chips! Bacon queso a must! Service could have been much better After receiving our yummy queso our waiter forgot about us several times. Did not pay attention to our empty water glasses or check to see how we liked our food. Had to wave him down several times. On another note. Beware there is a service charge for using a credit card! Who knew?

Meagan W.

Yelp
Refused service. Manager incredibly rude. Wouldn't even give us a menu. Said they were on a wait when we've been sitting at a table for almost an hour. Makes no sense. Watched two other tables get waited on. The manager didn't rip them a new one for sitting on the patio. Just me.

Terry C.

Yelp
Food was mediocre and service was nothing special. Entree prices are $4+ above similar restaurants. Would not go back as many other restaurants in Flower Mound with better food, service and lower prices.

Jaxson H.

Yelp
Amazing burgers, great service, and great chips and fries!!! I definitely recommend this place!!! Get the burger with the chips and sit outside and watch the river!!!

Jana B.

Yelp
I have come over to this bar twice and seen it full packed! I hope the area is able to keep people coming by. The one time I was able to sit I was served quickly and they do have cider in draft which is always a plus. They have pool tables and a few other games, large TVs with the sound going. This will be a more fun experience when the weather is warmer and people are able to sit out by the water.

Kori S.

Yelp
We went to watch the College National Championship game and the tvs were great. Service was friendly and then there was the food. People must go for the cheap beer because the food was awful. We ordered bacon queso and chips. It tastes ok but was not even warm. Then we ordered the Reuben. It was not served on rye it was served on a sweet wheat bread and was less than ok. I ordered sweet potato waffle fries and got cold regular sweet potato fries. We sent them back and they brought the same basket back out. At least the chairs are padded and there are lots of TV's. Probably won't go back but may let the kids know because they like cheap beer.

Ramon M.

Yelp
Blue cheese burger is to die for, if the cook isn't stingy with the blue cheese. Service is always good.

Sven G.

Yelp
Underdogs has excellent food with vegan and veg options. It's a fun sports bar and open late.

David B.

Yelp
We went to Underdogs to take advantage of happy hour. The drinks were excellent. We ordered barbecue sandwiches and they were extremely good too. Our server was attentive and prompt with our drinks and food. This was our first visit there and found the view of the river walk pretty neat. We will be back.

Dennis H.

Yelp
Went and hit the Happy Hour and was very pleased. Good prices on domestic draft beer (get the pitcher if more than one person as most bang for the buck). Happy hour appetizers were good and the menu was spot on with burgers and sandwiches. Chef driven food from the kitchen and the taste and portions s were very good. Definitely a place to hit and the views from the patio overlooking the riverwalk area were great.

Tom S.

Yelp
Went there Friday night for date night with the wife. We were seated right away. Waited for almost 15 minutes for a server to make contact or even eye contact. Finally left when the two tables by us that were just sat down. Horrible service and an obviously lack of communication. Would tell you about the food and drinks but they didn't let us order anything.

Krista A.

Yelp
What a fun burger place! We were there for lunch so it wasn't busy at all. I will say we were not greeted with the best welcome, just kinda meh, but we were able to get right in and get a seat. The ambiance is a fun yet classy sports themed feel. There is an arcade, but really this would be an arcade for adults. Our server Sheena was really nice and patient while we decided what we wanted. She was very attentive and kind! My husband and I both had a burger, The Classic and the Bacon Mushroom Burger. The food was delish and probably the best burger we've had in a long time. Very nicely seasoned and the presentation was also really appealing. I would go back for sure. I would love to see what it's like when it's busy. Oh, our server also told us about live music on the weekends!

Binaya M.

Yelp
I had my daughter's 21st birthday. Underdog handled it really well. They setup beautiful table for 25 people just beside the river. Our waiter was very attentive. Drinks and food were really great. The live music was really fantastic. They even sang the Happy Birthday to my daughter.

Annaka K.

Yelp
Burgers here are great. This is a hidden gem in FloMo. They aim for a medium patty for their burger style, so make sure if you prefer a more cooked patty to mention it when you order. Very well seasoned patty and great burger entree options. Service given was attentive and pleasant. Managers and staff here are very nice, humble, and excited about their concept. Ambiance is bright, engaging, and lively with a nice patio section next to the Riverwalk. There are arcade style games inside and a lot of tv's for sports. Photographed is the Bacon & Mushroom Burger, The Classic Cheeseburger Cheeseburger, and the Mediterranean Salad. Very Good and will definitely be back.

Cliff N.

Yelp
Pros: I did like their homemade Reuben and we tried something else when it was scout that was also good Cons: Having a drink in this place is more expensive than the airport. Last time there, I got a double Tito's and soda along with fried green tomatoes. First, the tomatoes are not the flavor you'd expect. Not bad (just okay), but when you think fried greens these are not that same flavor profile, plus their grease was nasty as they came out very dark. I had 2 double Tito's and it came out to $32. Absolutely ridiculous. The kid put the drink in a regular rocks glass and when i called out that he charged me double for doubles, he simply said it's double the liquor. These were not strong drinks and a proper double wouldn't fit in a little rocks glass anyways My wife hates this place, but i keep trying to give them a try because i wanted a local business to succeed Congrats scout/underdog/whatever you call it now. You have overcharged me for the last time. Good riddance.

Rebel V.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere are excellent '. More than I expected. So glad we dined here and the pimento cheese balls were amazing. So was the bacon mushroom havarti

Bruce A.

Yelp
@UnderdogsFLOMO you will get a full experience from personal customer service to qualify meals. Full bar and great prices.

Elizabeth Graham P.

Yelp
The WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant. It took me over 20 minutes to get a drink I ordered when there wasn't more than 8 other people in the restaurant or bar, then when the drink did come it wasn't even a full cup. I would go ANYWHERE except this establishment.

Kat O.

Yelp
Perhaps it was the fact we came on a Monday early evening or maybe it was that it was raining but we spent 60.00 for the two of us and the food was mediocre at best and inedible at worst. Nothing we got looked anything close to photos. The sunnyside up egg on my Southern Hospitality was overcooked, had so little bacon jam on it that I couldn't find it. The fresh made chips were stale. The waitress ( the best part of our visit and the only reason I gave 5 stars) made sure that they were replaced with chips that were crispy, so for that, we were grateful. I wish we'd had a better experience. I'd like to try it again, but I don't think we will.

Carol T.

Yelp
We had a great night at Underdogs! The burgers are top notch and love that you can sit outside on a beautiful night. The icing on the cake is the band playing some great tunes. We will be back!

Ravin R.

Yelp
Probably won't be back due to terrible first experience. First we were sat a filthy table and then had terribly slowwww service. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were so busy, but our server didn't even really check on us or apologize for the slow service. I purposely ordered the kids food first.. took 40 minutes to come out. Another 40 minutes for our food and it came all wrong. Too expensive and food wasn't even good enough to make up for the experience. Shame :(

Emily C.

Yelp
We took our 16U travel team there after one of our games. We called ahead, and Kristen was so helpful and accommodating!! They served all of us (over 30 of us) in a timely manner. We were even early, and they were so gracious and kind. Stephanie and Sibley were our waitresses, and they were just fantastic! It's a great atmosphere - large screen tv, pool table, games, and there was live music and more games outside. The food and drinks were fantastic also. 5 stars for sure! Highly recommend!!

Mike G.

Yelp
Had the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer and the Strawberry Pecan salad- both were great! My guests enjoyed the monster burgers but they couldn't finish them. There must have been a half pound of fires with them too! Nice selection of beer, and the service by Lee was outstanding!
