We were greeted by the manager who was extremely nice. He even offered us a free appetizer since it was our first time. Wonderful food! Definitely get the pub rolls!! Great outdoor seating area. Super cute place, great service, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Google
I had such a fantastic salad here, it was absolutely delicious, so i hate that i have to give it a lower rating. I would absolutely highly recommend the Spiced Panzanella Salad. As for the service, we were sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant, on a night that wasn't too busy, and waited for at least 15 minutes before we had to flag someone down to even get water. That didn't happen, so we found another waitress, who began to serve us eventually. The service was slow from that point forward, but at least we got our food eventually.

Food was fantastic! We loved everything we ordered. Service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back. It was a WOW first experience!

Google
Absolutely amazing! The staff is on point and the manager was so kind! Now, the food 😍 wow! Everything I tasted (including from my husband's plate) was amazing!! Those crispy cranberry Brussel Sprouts are incredible! We will definitely be back to try the entire menu!

It helps that we had a beautiful day to experience outdoor dining at Scouts pub in Westhaven, but the inside is nice as well. We started with an appetizer that I believe was called Leo Bread? It was so good. Much like a toasted fococcia bread topped with cheese, tomatoes, and seasoning. Definitely give it a try. My daughter got a burger and sweet potato fries. My grandson got the best-looking grilled cheese sandwich with Mac n cheese, and I got the Birra tacos. Everything was great. For an added level of comfort, they put these battery-operated fan like things on the table to keep the bugs away from the food. Our waitress was exceptionally helpful, and I used the qr code on our bill to pay for our meal. It is a small place, so I would expect it to be filled up on the weekend. We went at around 4 on a Monday. There wasn't a crowd at all. Parking is on the street in this work/live community, or there is a lot behind the main street at Kroger. It sits facing the main street with a park view.

Google
Heard great things about the burgers at Scouts so I decided to give them a try. It's a small tavern set up with some table seating and a nice bar. Seemed well stocked and had a decent beer selection. I ordered a Scout Burger with white cheddar and bacon, came with steak fries. Burger was good. Juicy, cooked to the temp I wanted but was on the bland side. Fries were good but were slightly grainy. You can tell they use quality ingredients but for the price I expected more. Here's the Breakdown: Nice interior space +1 star; fresh, quality ingredients +1 star; Burger cooked to desired temp +1 star; friendly service +1 star. I'll go back. Would like to try some other menu options.

The food was great! Had the fish and chips which for being in Franklin was really good. Great ambiance and wide variety of food. Shannon was our server and she was energetic and sweet.

Google
Pretty sure I just received the best service I've had since moving to the Franklin area. Our server was Mackenzie and she went above and beyond to provide us with the BEST experience. Food and drinks were amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Yelp
Service and staff are amazing. Food is off the chart the best food in all of West Haven. The only reason why they don't have five stars from me is because their air conditioning unit sucks. It's hot in there in the summer. They won't fix it for some reason it makes the beer and the drinks warm it's uncomfortable, fix your AC!!!! Sometimes I walk in and out when it's too hot because.... all the staff & guests are sweating in there & it's neglecting & disgusting.

Mari B.

Yelp
Decided to randomly get lunch here and glad we did. Hayden was our sever and he gets 5 stars - great service and attentive. The side salad was good. Kids meal for the kiddo was fantastic and they made him butter noddles which he loved. Split the Fish & Chips and it was a generous portions. Fish batter was a bit heavy but delicious. Chips here good. All in all a good visit.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. It was different in a good way. Our waitress was very helpful in helping give us suggestions. Very attentive. The feel of the restaurant was that of a small town cafe, but a cozy, clean feel. I had no idea Scout was a dog. I have a service dog and when we entered I was pleasantly surprised with the decor and for the love of dogs my husband had good people beer. I had lemonade. The classic 40's melt, and the ugly bird Sammy was delish. Mac and cheese was heavy but good. Brussels were just okay. The brownie shatter was to die for. And last but not least. The outdoor patio is dog friendly!

Yelp
We visited Scout's Pub for the first time today and were looking forward to taking our pups here, but we didn't have the best experience. We sat outside on the patio and it was full of flies, which can always be expected, but it was really bad and we were not able to eat comfortably. Our waitress was nice, but was not the quickest at ordering our food and getting refills during our lunch. Overall, the food was pretty good, but they need some kind of fly trap for the patio.

Sandy R.

Yelp
I visited this pub twice. Both times, the ambience was fun and comfortable to watch a game. The food portions were adequate. My only problem was the birria noodles were very salty. I think the soy sauce and the birria were cooked separately and once put together, the amount of salt was overwhelming. It wouldn't stop me from visiting Scout's though.

Yelp
We went to Scout's for the first time on Sun afternoon with another couple. We were the only diners in the restaurant. We waited 15 minutes for a server to take our drink orders. Finally, one of our party stood up and asked the host to find our server and them to at least take our drink order. Once our order was placed, our food arrived in about 25 minutes. not warm and the fish and chips were dark brown, almost burned. We asked the server to remake the fish and chips. She brought fish, but no fries. There was no follow up or apology from the manager after our request to remake the food. The food was mediocre, especially for the prices. Again, we were the only customers in the restaurant, so they were not overwhelmed. We were hoping to find a gem, but left very disappointed. There are many other restaurants in the area, my recommendation is to try them as alternatives.

Yelp
Friends visiting? What better place to take them in Westhaven? (Yes, there are a few other, albeit limited, notable spots - but for this lunch trip, Scouts proved to be spot on.) Weather was super, so we sat outside - patio was full, but no sense of "crowding" (Except for the pesky flies...then again, it's nigh impossible to control nature, eh?) Service was very efficient and our food was quite good. To wit: beer was icy cold (excellent - and chosen from a relatively limited, yet adequate - selection of draft brews). Lots of other drinks too! Guest one's Arugula with strawberries and blueberries salad was fresh and large. (Would have preferred balsamic, but over all, salad was great.) Guest two's Scout burger with white cheddar cheese was done to perfection, (M-MR, slightly pink) large, juicy, "flavor...full." Side of fries were ok. Guest three's Polish Philly was nicely presented, split and fully loaded. Oh my! (check my photo for accuracy...lol) My "Bourbonyaki Wrap" (bourbon-marinated grilled chicken, caramelized onions, mushrooms, arugula, goat cheese, wontons...huh?) was so-so. Lots of good flavors in an overstuffed wrap. Biggest shortfall was that the onions were all crowded in one end of half the wrap as was the goat cheese. So, I got plenty of delicious, tender and flavorful chicken bites that were combined with the aforementioned ingredients on half of the bites on the first section...and the delightful goat cheese on the last 3 bites. (Didn't see or crunch any wontons that I'm aware of; might have been too soft from sitting, wrapped) Chef, if I may make a suggestion, spread the cheese on the bare wrap, "scatter" on the onions, then pile on the chicken etc.) Wrap was very, very soft and pliable, a bit hard to hold. Perhaps it sat while the other guests' food was cooking? (That's likely why it's held together with a wooden skewer.) However - GREAT flavors...just not a carefully prepped dish. Pub fries were ok...but got cold very quickly at our al fresco lunch. We'll be back.

Yelp
Bennett was awesome and dealt with our group of 9!! Very cute inside and good food options even for our vegan of the group. Would come back!

Yelp
I like right in Westhaven so I'm close but our baby was napping so couldn't leave the house to go pick anything up. Called Scouts to see if they had delivery, the lady said they just got their delivery golf cart fixed and would have delivery service again full time starting next week. In the meantime (because of my situation) they took my order and had someone run it down to me. It literally took around 15 minutes. Can't believe the level of service this place provided in a time of need. So happy to hear delivery is back and will be ordering again and again. Thanks again Scout's Pub.

Sheri R.

Yelp
Super cute spot in a super cute community. Friendly. Clean. Quaint and tasty food

Frank S.

Yelp
Pizza was amazing we got the carnivore. Service was spot on atmosphere was very comfortable.

Susan J.

Yelp
Food is always good! The location is convenient! Staff is always friendly! A good neighborhood feel! We enjoy coming here!!

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Very The food and service have always been good at scouts. It's a relaxing place to go eat and get good vibes Very

Tom W.

Yelp
The food is definitely above average, but the service is so nuts. And I never ever will post a review because of things like "oh my water was only filled once!" Old rich people problems. But waiting 30 minutes to order, no waters, asked 4 times for them for 7 people and brought one at a time, it was insane. Then food came out and we had no silverware for a long time. Just frustrating but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Michele H.

Yelp
WentScout's for lunch today. I sat at the bar and had the most wonderful server/bartender, Michael. He is always so pleasant. And the food is fabulous. Thanks for another great experience!!!

Spencer B.

Yelp
Scouts Pub is a restaurant that deserves a low rating due to its horrendous service. The first issue is the 45 minute wait time for food. Customers expect a reasonable wait time for food, but waiting 45 minutes is unacceptable. The restaurant should have managed their kitchen staff and orders more effectively to avoid such a delay. Another issue with Scouts Pub's service is their late delivery for drinks. Customers want to have their drinks with their meals, and receiving them late disrupts the whole experience. It is not enjoyable to wait for drinks while the food gets cold. This mistake shows a lack of attention and professionalism from the staff. Additionally, Scouts Pub served half the plates first, leaving the rest of the party to wait for five minutes. This inconsistency in service is unacceptable. It shows that the restaurant lacks communication among staff members and proper management. It makes the experience unenjoyable for customers who expect their meals to arrive at the same time. The host at Scouts Pub also had a snarky tone and did not want the customers to sit at their designated table. The tone of the host can ruin a customer's experience before they even get to their table. A rude tone is unacceptable and can lead to customers never returning. Lastly, the server took half the plates, making the rest of the people still finishing their meal feel slow and miserable. The server also asked to take plates that still had a ton of food on them, which is not acceptable. The server should have waited until the customer was finished before removing their plate. These mistakes make it clear that Scouts Pub does not prioritize the customer's experience, leading to a one-star rating.

Yelp
What a pleasant suprise. We happened upon this place after soccer one evening and had a lovely Time. The food is pretty good and my kids were treated really nicely by our server. Definitely coming back.

Cissy W.

Yelp
Been to Scout's many times and they always deliver on the experience. Staff is friendly and service is generally very good. Nice location in Westhaven. They have inside and outside dining. Outside is really lovely on these nice spring evenings! On weekends, you probably want to get a reservation as it can get crowded. Food is good with a great variety. This is Marshalls restaurant and has one of their better menus, in my opinion. Burgers and Sandwiches are all good. This time, they had just changed their menu to what looks like the summer menu. There was a burger that I really liked that was dropped from this menu, but I ventured out and tried the GOAT burger and it was an excellent option. The mushroom and goat cheese on top of a burger from Scouts, no problems with this at all! They have a nice selection of beverages including draft beers. On this visit, I was delighted to see they have Kilt the Cat, by Curio Brewing (local Franklin brewery). This is an outstanding beer that you don't often find on menus as it is a small brewery.

Rebekah L.

Yelp
Stumbled on this GREAT, eclectic, friendly, comfortable Restaurant! Upon entering we were happily greeted by Jadai. The menu is familiar with delicious twists, like adding Korean barbecue to a burger or preparing tacos with "bang bang shrimp!!!" Salad was FRESH & Unique. Sweet potato fries are FRESH CUT! How can we say enough of how the staff and food made this a happy, memorable, & DELICIOUS destination! Our servers gladly engaged in fun conversation, as their serving techniques are impeccable. Thank you Mitch, Claire, & Samantha. WE WILL BE BACK soon!!!

Gavin M.

Yelp
Great burgers and good service. The ambiance outside is great with the Westhaven atmosphere seeping into the restaurant. Scout's has the best burger in town imo

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
I would update to 4 and a half stars if I could, after many more trips to Scouts, I love it! The pizza is amazing! This summer they have a berry salad and it is fabulous. Their salmon is great and on and on...check it out

Michelle C.

Yelp
Second visit, this time for dinner. Great place in Westhaven, make reservations ahead of time with open table. No one was on patio tonight due to party to come later. We enjoyed the pizza, fish & chips and salad. My son wasn't as thrilled with the burger. It was great that we could bring our dog with us. The flowers on patio are beautiful.

Angie N.

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. Horrible service, food quality and wait time. We waited an hour and a half for a simple burger and fish and chips. Our server pretty much ignored us to the point that the other server who was on point with her customers had to help us get a drink and directed the manager to us when she saw how long we waited for food. The manager tried to make it right but after an hour and forty five minute total wait time, we were just too disappointed. Mind you, the pub was not busy when we sat down. There were maybe 5 other small parties inside a couple of people outside. I hope they do better for other people but we will not return.

Debra J.

Yelp
We have been here twice. It's one of the rare places that welcomes dogs on their patio. Traveling with a dog, this comes in handy. They even have water bowls for individual dogs. The service was outstanding. The food great. We had salads and shared a pizza. I wanted a mai tai and the waitress took a picture of the recipe I wanted the barkeep to use and they did a pretty good replica. Highly recommend Scouts!

Dani N.

Yelp
My aunt and I visited this cute little burger joint on National Cheeseburger Day (naturally) and enjoyed us some unique and tasty burgers. I had the Pimento Short Rib Burger on a Gluten Free bun. The short rib was mighty tasty and oh so filling. For Gluten Free, the bun was pretty average but not the best in the world. And the side salad was fresh and delicious - I was actually surprised what a good size it was, too. Scout's Pub is located in Westhaven about 15 minutes from Franklin, TN. It's a nice, newly developed area with tons of free parking and new shops and restaurants. Scout's Pub has a ton going on too! On Sundays and Tuesdays they do half priced wine bottles. Monday - Thursday they have $10 wings from 5-6 pm. And they do golf cart delivery for residents near by. They try to keep things fun and exciting so check out their social for updates to come. Scout's does pick up, delivery and in house dinning. Really cool spot for burgers and nice bar if you're looking for somewhere more family oriented and less crowded then the Nashville downtown scene. Try them out!

Evelyn P.

Yelp
Like this little spot. It's on the Main Street in Franklin. I got the curry, but after seeing the lasagna I wish I would have reordered. Food came out super quick as we were on our way to a meeting. Super nice staff and the food was good. I'd eat there again for sure. And while it's called "pub" it's not that kind of vibe.

Mark L.

Yelp
Great food. Excellent service. We are yet to have a bad meal. Great salads, fish & chips, burgers, etc. Have to order the Pub rolls!

Murray L.

Yelp
Excellent food, friendly staff and great beer selection. Pub Rolls are a must!! Mitch the Barman makes the best smoked Old Fashion!

V M.

Yelp
This is one of fav neighborhood restaurant. Location is convenient. Delicious appetizers so it's great placed for Happy Hour.

Drew S.

Yelp
We love to order scouts for work lunch, so much so we will do it multiple times a week because they are just that much better. Big portions, great service and yummy food!

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
The service was fabulous. The food was delicious- fresh-full of flavor! The sangria was amazing. Everything was perfect!!!!!

Andrew S.

Yelp
Dined here 7/6/23 for dinner. Generally we have had good service and food here, but last night was a huge exception. Not sure what was going on, but it took nearly 20 minutes just to get water/drinks and then over an hour wait for food. When we inquired as to the issue, we were first told one of the chefs had an injury. Then we were told by the waitress and manager that they were filling a high number of take-out orders. Why would they let take -out orders take priority over in-house guests? Stop taking take-out orders if you are backed up! We were not the only table not happy. Most around us were not happy. The worst part, the manager didn't really seem to care. Her statement was that they were slammed with takeouts, but no real apology at all. Our waitress was not very attentive, nor did she offer an apology until is was time to pay (and tip!). They did take $20 off our dinner/drinks for four. My time and enjoyment eating out is worth way more than $20! Not sure I'm willing to risk that experience again in the near future.

Jeanne G.

Yelp
Food is really good. Variety of menu selections. Perfect atmosphere and quick service.

Lincoln M.

Yelp
Pleasant atmosphere in the outdoor seating area. Friendly patrons and staff. Chicken sandwich was not very good. The chicken serving was small and the ratio of breading to chicken was about 1:1. The salad had too much added sugar which defeated the purpose.

Virginia R.

Yelp
Wonderful hand crafted cocktails and attentive service at bar! An interesting appetizer menu to compliment the libations!

Amber J.

Yelp
We ordered through Grub Hub and and food arrived quickly and our order was correct. The food was absolutely delicious! We will absolutely order again!

Jenn B.

Yelp
I tried Scout's because of so many good reivews. I was left really disappointed. Service: Terrible. When I walked in the guy behind the bar said to sit anywhere. I sat at a table (I was 1 of maybe 10 people in the restaurant & the only one at a table). After almost 10 min I got up to get my own menu from the hostess stand. After another 5 min a woman cleaning the next table over asked if anyone had helped me. I said no & she asked me what I wanted to drink. Food: I ordered the Basted Beech & Barley with Chicken, $20. It didn't contain one mushroom & it was terribly under seasoned. The chicken was in the dry side. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Marie S.

Yelp
I've had brunch and dinner here. Both were great experiences. For brunch I had the fried egg Sammy with sweet potatoes and a mimosa. I can't recall what my husband ordered but both meals were delicious. For dinner we had the whiskey frites (excellent and will order every time from now on), and Shabowsky Chicken which was really good too.

Elliott W.

Yelp
We like Scouts pretty well. It's a little expensive for what it is. But the Brussels are great, the drinks are spot on and the burgers are above average. Service is always good.

Carissa O.

Yelp
so this is one of the only restaurants where I can pick up takeout and it will still be warm when I get home because I'm in the boonies. I couldn't decide between 3-4 starts because it is wildly inconsistent, so I went with 3 because consistency is kind of important in getting repeat customers. Even the times that Scouts has been less good, it's still been good enough that we come back. The Brussels sprouts are my favorite thing on the menu. Sandwiches and burgers are solid. Coconut curry is surprisingly good. Fish and chips are pretty terrible. Speaking of chips.... WTF are these "chips" with the chips and guacamole?? I got them for the family to share and luckily I had tortilla chips in the cupboard because these were like pretty thick HARD crackers

Dean H.

Yelp
Nice place for lunch. Good food and friendly staff. Nice bar area and plenty of seating indoors and out.

Linda C.

Yelp
Scout's policy of no reservations for the same day is ridiculous. Called at 12 noon today for 4 people for this evening . Was refused. Went elsewhere . Lost a 4 top . When we passed there around 6:15 the place was half empty .....

David O.

Yelp
Scouts Pub seems to be positioning itself as the "Local" for Westhaven. The better half and I visited for a "Whiskey Warmer" and before that we decided to stop in for Dinner. I was really in the mood for a Guinness and I was happy to see it was on the Menu. So when the waiter stopped by and asked what I wanted to drink I indicated the Guinness. He told me that they didn't have Guinness. Perplexed, I asked if it was on the menu or not, to which he launched into a hipster diatribe about how the "Menus are printed seasonally" and "It was the end of the season" and that they had run out of Guinness but that "They had many other fine Stouts" and how I should try those. But that wasn't what I wanted so I just got a Diet Coke. I'm excited for Scouts that they have groovy seasonal menus and beers, but if you are going to print your menus seasonally, how about "A selection of Stouts" and not "Guinness". RC Is a COLA but it is not COCA-COLA when what you want is a Coca Cola. For an entree I had the Fish and Chips, which I personally felt were a bit slimy and not really to my tastes, however the other two of my party who also ordered the Fish and Chips said they were fine, so I'm more than willing to admit I may have just been a bit too cross at that point to enjoy anything. The final thing that really kept this place from having more than three stars was the amount of time it took our waiter to reappear after we had given our cards to pay. We all actually started to wonder if he had stolen our credit cards and run off! (He did ultimately reappear). Overall I'd say it was fine, but I personally would not re-order the Fish and Chips, or the Guinness.

Brian G.

Yelp
Seriously? I have never been charged for drink refills on tea or coke in any other Franklin eatery. The tea was sub-par, so I exchanged it for coke. I was asked later by the server if I wanted a refil on my coke, which I said ok. When I got my bill, I was charged for all 3 drinks at $2.79 each. I'm glad their price wasn't $3.99 a drink. The food was good, but not good enough to make their drink policy worth going back later. All together, lunch for 2 people cost me $38, but that includes being overcharged on the drinks. Update: The management of Scouts read my review, and reached out to me to apologize about my experience. They said that me being charged for drink refills was a mistake and the staff would be spoken to about this incident. I am impressed with their level of concern towards any issues a customer may have during their dining experienced at Scouts.

Macy M.

Yelp
I was a little torn about whether or not we should come here based on some reviews, but we decided to check it out since it's just a short drive away in Westhaven. I love that you can check the wait on Yelp! Luckily, we were seated right away on a Friday evening just before they got busy. I was immediately impressed with our hospitable server and the unique beer and wine selection. I'm not a beer drinker, but my boyfriend loved the variety of beers on tap. I had one of the best Chardonnays I've ever had here! Onto the food! It was difficult to choose my entree since everything sounded great - the scout burger, the chop salad with warm bacon dressing, the French dip, the Tuscan chicken sandwich, fish and chips, etc. At the recommendation of our waiter, I opted for the French dip, and it did NOT disappoint! It was served on a fresh, soft French roll with a pile of juicy shaved beef, provolone, caramelized onions, Swiss, AND burnt blue cheese. This sandwich was a masterpiece and perfectly accompanied by au jus for dipping. The fries were also like crack. You can tell they're freshly cut in house and cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a fish n chips snob but was seriously impressed with their version. It can with a healthy serving of perfectly fried cod from Pucketts, those delicious chips, and the best herby, homemade tartar sauce I've ever tasted! I'm so glad we gave this place a shot! I can't wait to go back and try more of their selections. Scout's has excellent service and a comfortable environment great for couples or families. I do wish they would bring back the buffalo chicken egg rolls I saw on Yelp! Check this place out when you're near Westhaven. You won't be disappointed!

Sheila A.

Yelp
We just moved from California and love this restaurant. Love the managers- Timothy and the other one with grey hair :) . They are super warm and hospitable. The food is great too-loooove the Chicken Curry, the fries are amazing and so is the Deacon Steak. We've only been here a week and have eaten there six times!

Jen J.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch or dinner. Happy hr is 3-6pm. Tons of options homemade choices. Kids menu available

Michelle T.

Yelp
Came in open lots of open tables. We were told they couldn't seat us and it would be 15 minutes. We are a family with 5 children. We were made to wait IN THE RAIN WITH OPEN TABLES to accommodate our family. Did I mention we waited in the rain with our 14 month old? Yeah. Then the 2 in charge were sitting at the front just chatting away. I have never been so upset being treated so rudely in inclement weather while we were soaking. They had 2 tables ready when I came in to tell them we're getting soaked so we are canceling our spot in line. Didn't bat an eye and didn't care.....

Andy H.

Yelp
Came across this place quite by accident and was pleasantly surprised by what turned out to be a very delicious and enjoyable lunch experience. Staff were cordial and welcoming. As a "stranger in town" I felt immediately welcome and comfortable as I took my seat at the bar. An extensive menu of mouthwatering dishes made choosing just one of the options a challenging task but I was finally able to settle on the Brussels Sprouts appetizer followed by the Thai Chicken Curry. Both were delightful and satisfyingly plentiful and a great compliment to the TN Lager I'd selected from the extensive range of beers on tap. A little gem on the edge of town I'll certainly be back for more!

Jamie A.

Yelp
We love that this place is so close to us and it's super convenient to grab a good bite to eat. I haven't had a bad choice yet and I've tried several meals. Their fish and chips is pretty good considering we're no where near the ocean. We love their appetizers too and it has a great feel to it. Not too loud but always cozy. The staff are super friendly and service is great. It's not priced the best for what it is but we eat there often because it's so close and enjoy it. The food is always presented SO well!!
