Went on a Sunday and it wasn’t packed at all, got seated fast but it took our food forever to come out(it was only two other couples in there). I got the platter and my wife for the Belgian waffle and chicken wings. My grits were under cooked and hard, the eggs had no flavor at all, and the toast was even brick hard…the chicken sausage and sweet tea was the best thing out the entire meal. First and last time for me.

Always have a great experience every time I go. The food is amazing, the people are wonderful, the music is always enjoyable and the atmosphere is beautiful. If you’re looking for a nice brunch spot in McDonough rather it’s with family, a partner or friends, you’ll love it here.

Google
Our entire experience was amazing Lex served us with such grace and precision she was covering the entire restaurant and made us so comfortable. We had great meals and they make the best food around!!! This will definitely be our go to breakfast place.

Google
The food and service is always exceptional here. The manager always makes sure to come and check on you. The food is really what keeps me coming back. No one makes my breakfast like they do, consistently!!! You can tell they take pride in what they do. Always clean and always professional experience. I’m a faithful customer.

Stopped by on a Sunday. Made reservations but it wasn't very crowded when we arrived. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I was so glad to finally find a place that was just trying to be a restaurant and not a lounge. There was DJ blaring music that we had to yell over to talk to another but instead some soft jazz played in the background. We had the fried green tomatoes which were pretty good. My girlfriend did the makes your own omelet and she had the grits and toast. She said the grits were good and so was her omelet. The only problem she had was she asked for turkey bacon and did not receive it in her omelet. I had the chicken and Belgium waffle. The chicken was whole fried wings which I prefer over chicken tenders as some places will do. All in all it was a cool little spot to visit on a Sunday afternoon. We'll definitely go back.

Google
Food was absolutely delicious and it came out hot ready to eat and not to mention the portion sizes were on point. The mimosas were made to perfection as well. Selena the hostess was very polite and we were greeted at the entrance with a big wide smile. Highly recommend

Google
Scramble: A McDonough Gem for “small bites” Scramble is exactly what McDonough Kellytown needed! This place is an absolute winner for a quick, delicious bite. My shrimp was perfect and they even made me from scratch “honey mustard” the staff was incredibly friendly. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite with a friend for a tasty sandwich or a business meeting. The cozy, local feel makes it a true neighborhood favorite. Highly recommend supporting this awesome small business!

Google
My mom and I enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch here today and loved it! Service and food were great! I googled locations in the McDonough area that accepts reservations and came across this hidden gem. I made a reservation yesterday and our booth was ready when we arrived. I was greeted by a lady who was a breath of fresh air. Our server, Lisa, was attentive, patient, and super friendly. I had a mango and pineapple mimosa and both were tasty. My mom had the shrimp (grilled) and grits and loved it. The grits were nice and thick, and the creole sauce wasn't too spicy. I had a veggie omelet with potatoes, a croissant, and a side of bacon. All the food was hot, seasoned well, and delicious. 🤌🏽😋 Looking forward to returning in the future!

Yelp
Overall The food and service were great! We were greeted promptly at the door and quickly shown to a table. The table selection was comfortable. It wasn't very busy during our weekday visit. Arrival & Order taking: We were welcomed table-side by Lisa who seemed to be the heart of the restaurant. Besides a cook I saw come out of the kitchen, she was running everything. We were one of two tables occupied at the time. Lisa greeted, seated, joked, took drink orders (QUICKLY), food orders and bust down the bar orders with precision. SHE EVEN SANG HBD to a patron table-side. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions. She offered specials or starters I like that she shared that we could order things ala carte. Food: Our food arrived in good time. Freshly cooked and well prepared. My husband had fried shrimp and cheese grits with a side of scrambled eggs. I had fried pork chops, Cheese grits, fried eggs and a piece of catfish aka carte. EVERYTHING SLAPPED! I am a fried fish LOVER but that pork chop turned me out‼ I loved that the batter for the fish and pork chop were DIFFERENT! I thought it was going to be the same taste. I WAS NOT! loved it. The grits were very good. I requested cheese be added to mine. Since it did not come with my dish. The grated bits on the top could have been excluded. It was delish without the distraction. It added no value. My egg was fried HARD the way I asked. My husband's eggs were scrambled soft the way he likes it. The shrimp and grits were awesome! I would love to try the grilled or sautéed shrimp. Ambience The look inside is not real fancy but it's big open and airy. I can appreciate that for busy times. Coming from NY, they would pile in many more tables. The TVs were adequately placed on the wall for viewing from many angles. The music had us swaying while we ate. Great local place. We absolutely LOVE that we didn't have to go far and somebody in the kitchen KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING! This was a relief from another local place that just dragged us waiting to eat. Three days later we're heading back with a table for 8 during a busier time. We'll get back on that experience later. For this upcoming visit, I tried two days in a row to book a reservation through the website and Yelp and I called. NO SUCH THING! It never happened. For a party of 8 I think a reservation is necessary and walking in shouldn't be an option. WE'LL SEE!!!

Yelp
So for my 28th, I kept it simple. I decided on Scrambles for brunch and no regrets. Started with six whole wings. Crispy, hot, and seasoned like someone in the back really cares. Not greasy, perfectly cooked. Strawberry French toast that was stuffed with a strawberry cream cheese. It was giving dessert disguised as breakfast. Thick-cut toast, warm strawberries and a drizzle that didn't drown it; basically a balanced and soft with a little crisp on the edges. The vibe gave chill. Light music, natural light coming through the windows, not too packed. Absolutely loved how vlog friendly it was, if anything encouraged. Thank you to our server Star, so kind and welcoming. Honestly, a good way to mark 28.

Yelp
Service was great! Everyone was pleasant but the food was another story. Pork chops were dry and no flavor, eggs were okay. Got toast with no butter on it, so they were hard and dry. Asked for butter but it didn't matter cause toast at that point was cold, so butter didn't melt. Grits were good with the Cajun sauce but once that was gone, no flavor grits. Got chicken and waffle and waffle tasted old, chicken was crispy but no flavor. Unfortunately, will not go back cause I'm all for supporting black owned businesses.

Yelp
Came here for the Friday night jazz band so I did not know what to expect for the restaurant. We walked in and there was no one at the hostess stand. You could see it was only one waiter serving all the tables and trying to bartend. We finally sat down and looked over the menu. It's mostly breakfast and brunch items. I requested to see a drink menu but they do not have one. The waitress said they had full bar but the drink I requested was unavailable. I had the fish grits which were subpar. The grits were supposed to have Gouda cheese in them but there was no cheese or seasoning at all. The side order of chicken wings we order still had feathers on the chicken. Not sure if I'll be coming back to this place.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food and great service. Thank you Lex for being so awesome. I ordered your signature Red velvet waffles and chicken and my daughter had the French toast. I couldn't think of a better way to start my birthday. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.
google avatar

Vera W.

Yelp
Cute & simple spot off in the cut, they do have a outside eating area. Not close to the expressway. I was there for a birthday party, I had the Bang Bang shrimp, which where good & fries which I never received. I had a lemon drop, which I felt was expensive for a less than half full glass ($14 or $16) our server was nice, though she forgot about my fries, napkins, and silverware, each time we asked of here she was very polite and apologetic. If I was ever in the area, I would give them another try because some of the people at the party raved about their chicken wings.

Yelp
Went here last weekend for brunch! I was very happy with my food; however, my husband was not! He said he wouldn't go back. He had the salmon patties (croquets) and grits. He said the taste was bland. He didn't even eat all of his grits. I, on the other hand, enjoyed my food very well! I had the omelet that had onions. peppers, and other veggies in it...good to me! And also, a side of potatoes that came with it that was good as well. Our waitress (can't remember her name) was also very attentive and friendly. Another good thing is, it's a B.O.B (Black Owned Business)!!! Yaay!!
google avatar

Cecilia G.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The service was great and professional. The ambiance was so cool for a Sunday morning brunch. Definitely looking forward to going back there! Had a chance to chat with the owner and he said that he has exciting plans for this restaurant!
google avatar

Miya T.

Yelp
I actually went back because I was invited by dear friend a year after my initial visit and I just came to say I never got anything other than a glass of water after we sat for an hour so we left and I will never be returning
google avatar

Millie H.

Yelp
Food was sooo good! I did the build your own omelette and my husband got the chops and eggs. Our server was nice and polite. Will definitely return.

Aliesha K.

Yelp
My family of 4 waited over an hour, No food. I had to keep asking the staff for my toddlers French fries ( I didn't even get a full serving of fries!) the staff is on there phones, only one server is working. The restaurant wasn't busy!! In 6 tables were being served!!! Don't come here, don't waste your time.

Yelp
It was my first time trying scrambled as many times as I have driven pass. The ambiance is nice, they had a variety of entertainment options on the tv. The waitress was nice but could've had more training. Some cons were; small cups for breakfast refreshments, and for a refill the waitress had it in a big cup brought it to the table to refill our smaller cups. It also took a while for the food to come out, maybe there is only one cook. Pros; the food was good! Seeing that this is a start up restaurant I think it's normal to have some minor mishaps. I would come back.

Pamela A.

Yelp
From the beginning, I should've known to go somewhere else. They staff walked in with me at 6:45pm for Friday night jazz at 7pm. First, the band was ok. If they work on the volume (turn it down) and turn down the lights they will be on to something. They need to create a mood. Second, a cook is needed ASAP. The food is not going to win any awards in the Atlanta market. Not even in McDonough. The owner knows everything so I'm sure she know there's a lot of room for improvement. I am happy to see entertainment coming to McDonough.

Yelp
Love this restaurant, nice waitress Lisa helped us out. I ordered the banana Foster French toast.. it was so good but the only thing the Chef didn't cook the bananas in the room and brown sugar sauce. But why we was waiting there they brought out other people's food like the fried chicken. It looks so good. I wish I would've ordered the wings and waffles. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Ca5yGEHzb/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Yelp
The parking is very convenient. You can make a reservation on Yelp or Google. The dinning room is decent size compared to other breakfast restaurants. The sunday brunch menu was a little short. Unfortunately they don't allow any substitutions allowed on the menu. The food was good and it is a definite location you should try
google avatar

Anwahs S.

Yelp
Food didn't taste good. The pancakes were flat with the consistency of plastic, couldn't cut through. They had an awful sour aftertaste. I had to send back. The grits taste like water and was stiff! The waiter was nice.
google avatar

Msmoodswangs T.

Yelp
It's always a vibe eating here. I enjoyed the mimosa and shrimp and grits. You will guarantee to enjoy urself. I was happy to speak with the owner and hear all the events coming. Looking forward to going back.

Farah J.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Our server was very professional and well-mannered. Everyone in our party was satisfied with their meal choices. I ordered fish and grits and I was very pleased because r he fish was well-seasoned and the grits...flavorful and creamy. The environment was clean and personable. I'll definitely go back.

Yelp
I have always wanted to come have brunch at Scrambled since they've moved to this location. On the day we decided dine with them, we were treated like royalty before we even entered the building! They held the door for us as we walked up, greeted us graciously, and seated us at an open booth. This location has a variety of seating for booths, tables, as well as a bar with plenty of natural light. We ordered Chicken and Waffles with the Million Dollar Bacon, The Admiral, Shrimp and Grits, and Strawberry Waffles. The food looked so good, I wasn't able to take a picture of everything that was served to us. Carlee's suggestion of fried shrimp with the grits has become my absolute favorite. I will have to give a shout out to Chef Vaughn for the amazing food and service that has come out of this kitchen. Thanks for keeping Kelleytown green and lush like your decor.
google avatar

Nicole A.

Yelp
While the service was good, the food left a lot to be desired. Everything was very greasy and salty. There was a charge for any change to your food. It was just a big disappointment to my entire family. And of course the music is too loud for such a small space so you can't have a decent conversation.

Jay L.

Yelp
I came here with my sister. I chose it because it was close to our home and we hadn't been here before. First, the service was so great. She came to the table at appropriate times and our mango mimosas were always full. We ordered the fried green tomatoes. The sauce had a little kick, but was perfectly balanced with a sweet taste. My sister had the blackened chicken pasta. It wasn't spicy and was perfectly seasoned and creamy. I had pancakes and pork sausage. The pancakes were a perfect brown, fluffy, and soft. Paired with warm syrup, they were absolutely immaculate. The pork sausage was the perfect pairing to my pancakes. It wasn't crowded and the background music was subtle without being overpowering. Of course, my sister was happy the football game was on and viewable while she ate. All in all this is definitely a place we will be visiting more frequently.

Yelp
My daughter and I visited this morning for the first time. The decor is nice with a modern twist. The service was good. I ordered chicken and waffles and my daughter had fish and grits. My waffle was red velvet and the chicken was divine. My daughter's food was delicious as well. We had mango mimosas that were okay too. I will definitely return.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
The waitress is incredible. Food is terrible, and expensive. Adding cheese to eggs is 1.25, for a total of 5 slivers. Steak is trash. Kids meal comes with half a waffle and chicken wing, for 8$. 10/10 wont come back.

Christopher F.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my lunch here today. Prompt friendly service, great touches on the food. Really hope this local spot does well!
google avatar

Adrienne J.

Yelp
I went hear for Mother's Day brunch. Majority of my group got chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. The chicken wings were extremely small , the grits needed another 5 minutes and the steak and eggs was cold. It took too long to receive our food, so we were hungry so we all eat our food once we received it. Now I was the only one that tried something different, I had a fried pork chop grill onion and peppers over it , eggs, cheese grits and a croissant. My pork chop was juicy and delicious, my eggs and croissant was good, my grits needed another 5 minutes to cook very gritty.
google avatar

Adriana D.

Yelp
The placed was packed when we walked in. So you know it's going to be good. The server greeted us and immediately offered us mimosas! The coffee was great. I ordered the grilled shrimp and grits and my husband ordered the fried chicken with red velvet waffles. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Everyone who worked there was so nice, friendly, and cheerful. I highly recommend this place and if we are ever in this area again we would return.
google avatar

Barbara G.

Yelp
The service was amazing! The food was very good too! I only have 2 things I would change about this place: the music was almost too loud to have a conversation and the sausage was not good. Otherwise everything was perfection! I feel like it's so rare to get the kind of service we experienced here, just a wonderful experience overall!
google avatar

Stacie G.

Yelp
This place has been on my list of places to check out! Finally had a chance to get in today. I went alone and was very pleased with how attentive the staff was. The service was awesome. Location provides plenty of free parking. The ambiance was chill. They had live music today, which I thought was a great touch. I ordered fish and grits and a side of potatoes. Catfish was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Potatoes were also seasoned well and I loved that they weren't greasy. My grits were ok. The menu said they had celery, onions, corn and a Cajun sauce. So I think I imagined they would be a bit more flavorful. They weren't bad but I think we could take the flavor up a notch. Overall- good experience and I would definitely go back!

Gretchen E.

Yelp
Cute place that we have been meaning to try but left unimpressed. Wanted to like it. the waiter, who came across as the owner, was nice. We were the first ones there when they opened. Wish they had someone else helping her in the dining room even though it was early because the phone kept ringing while she was with another table that came in. Someone did come in to help about an hour later. Food was ok. Nothing special, especially for the price. It was myself husband and our two young kids under 10yo. With tip it was almost $120 for breakfast. We didn't even have any alcoholic drinks. Love supporting local but don't see myself going back, especially with the pricing and the average food.

Yelp
Father's Day Breakfast, reservations for 4. We walked in at our reservation time we're greeted and seated right away. Our server was Angel and she was very pleasant and attentive, which is what you really want from a good server. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, very flavorful, quite enjoyable and made our morning great! The manager even checked on us to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Thank you Scrambled and hats off to the chef and line cook for doing a good job on the food.

Joyce L.

Yelp
The food, the grits were too thick, the service was terrible, charge for coffee I didn't order and had an attitude when I advised her. Spoke with manager
google avatar

Nikki F.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the server was quite pleasant. She was very attentive and friendly. I like the decor and the atmosphere was very nice. We will definitely be hanging out there again sometime soon.
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
The waitress was great but the food not so much. It was our 1st time there so I had the steak and eggs. The steak tasted like it had zero seasoning and was tough. It came with peppers and onions on top but they did t help it and neither did the steak sauce. Since it was our 1st time there I would try it again with something else instead. Hopefully the other options are better.
google avatar

Savannah H.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The waitress/hostess was very friendly. We went at 8am so it was quiet and quite peaceful.

Jianne M.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here after an early morning flight and the food was amazing. I had the red velvet waffles and chicken wings with a side of scrambled eggs made with Gouda. My husband had the veggie omelette and added bacon with cheese grits and a pancake. The star of the show was the red velvet waffle and the chicken wings! The chicken was crispy, seasoned well and the waffle was perfectly done with the pecans for a beautiful touch. He also really enjoyed his omelette which was full and cooked really well. We enjoyed the light jazz music in the background and our server was extremely kind and knowledgeable of the menu!

Nicole S.

Yelp
My party waited well over an hour for the most mediocre food . There was only one other small party when we arrived The grits were some how....sour ? The music was way too loud for such a small area. Just go to Waffle House .
google avatar

Misha L.

Yelp
Food was very very good! We had fried fish and grits and wow!! Service was friendly and fast! Ambiance was great also. Not to loud at all! I highly recommend this place!!

Cherronda Y.

Yelp
Nice just don't go on a holiday. Establishment is very small. Not a lot of seating. Drinks are good
google avatar

Renee F.

Yelp
Great tasting food. Great service and the atmosphere is electric! They had ladies night with a live performer named Ray Lamar. He is an amazing singer. I highly recommend stopping in for great food, tunes and fellowship.

Parish H.

Yelp
Everything was really good, from the service to the atmosphere, but the shrimp and grits dish was absolutely amazing! I'll definitely come back for more.
google avatar

Philip S.

Yelp
Staff (Kelsey) and food were great and plentiful. Prices were extremely high, and the menu was a bit hard to understand and limited. Also, they did not provide a military discount. The cost kept this from a 5 star rating.

Jasmine R.

Yelp
The food here is amazing!! My mom and I were in the area and decided to stop by for breakfast. This was our first time but we will definitely be back! My mom ordered the red velvet waffle and friend chicken wings. The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness that was paired with candied walnuts, sweet blueberries and a cream cheese topping. The waffle was not overly sweet and the flavor was great. The friend chicken wings were seasoned and fried perfectly. Sometimes restaurants don't take time to season their fried food but you can taste the seasoning on the fried chicken. I ordered the salmon and grits. Let me tell ya'll something!!! This has to be the best thing on the menu!!! The grits were seasoned so well and also had Gouda cheese, corn and a creole sauce that were to die for!! I scrapped by bowl clean!! The salmon croquettes were also amazing! The chef used real Alaskan salmon not that stuff from the can and it was structured more like a crab cake and was big enough to where you only need one. The salmon croquette and grits paired perfectly together. I actually ordered my croquette on the side and ended up putting it back in the grits like it was intended bc they paired so well together. No hot sauce was needed. We also tried the fried green tomatoes which came with a nice Thai chili sauce. The staff, owner and chef were so friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!! This place is going to be a staple.

Yelp
It took a long time to get food. Waitress kept apologizing and said they lost my ticket. The food was ok, pancake on platter was burnt but waitress was great about getting it removed from ticket. Hostess was a little upset that I didn't have a reservation, out sat us anyway. Clean restaurant, ambiance gets loud at times.

Gemma R.

Yelp
Came for breakfast, and our water cups had other strange liquids and a lipstick mark on them. I told the waitress and she was very apologetic, which I appreciated. The food was decent, but the prices are INSANE and not worth it. I thought it would be a cute place to eat, but the prices are just crazy. Over $60 for 2 people to have an OK meal!
google avatar

Kearia W.

Yelp
The restaurant is nice is inside. The food is very delicious & came out hot. I enjoyed my wings, they had a honey sauce on the wings which is very tasty.
google avatar

Sharon E.

Yelp
Food was great, service excellent and loved the ambiance. The owner was there and was very accommodating.

Orell P.

Yelp
First time visiting this establishment and all I call say is OMG. The customer service was amazing. The food not so much. The girts speechless. I have never seen such and the taste such unimaginable. For the prices the food quantity should be top tier
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
The food is decent but nothing to write home about. The service was A - 1 and the ambiance was really laid back. Not sure if I'd return do to better quality restaurant of same type cooking but it's worth a try to support them .

Yvonne E.

Yelp
The way they could improve would be to bring exactly what the customer orders. I was there for their soft opening and my lunch companion did not receive the order as it was pictured. Today she ordered tacos that were supposed to be both flour and corn tortillas. They were both flour. It was sent back for correction twice and still did not have corn tortillas. They should serve as represented on the menu. Will not be going back.
