Oh man, the food and atmosphere is great here. Started with margaritas and spinach dip. Our main courses were prime filet with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes, burgundy braised no name beef with honey glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. We finished the meal with peach cobbler and creme brulee. Great evening, very good food and drinks.

A Bricktown favored destination for craft beers. Cocktails, and a very nice Brunch skillet, biscuits and similar fare. High ceilings make this a relaxed and airy place to hang out or have inventive food and beverage choices. Parking can be limited during peak hours and events around Bricktown. Otherwise worth a stop in and see for yourself.

We had a great experience dining here! Our server, Jacob, was incredibly kind and attentive. He helped us with food choices and made sure everything was just right. I had the steak and potatoes absolutely amazing! Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My mom ordered the egg sandwich, and she really enjoyed it as well. Great service, great food we’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place right off main. Good drink options. The dinner rolls are Kings Hawaiian. It looked like they were microwaved instead of put in an oven so they were chewy. The pork loin was delicious and the risotto was great. Their smash burger was delicious as well. The friend green tomatoes were good but cooked a little too long. The batter was more burnt than crispy. Over all not a bad place to eat in downtown Norman.

Just wanted to thank a wonderful guy for treating me to a delicious dinner at Scratch Kitchen and Cocktails this evening. I had the Cubano and a Strawberry Margarita and he had the Salmon Burger and an Old Fashioned. This place was recommended by a friend of mine, and unfortunately was let down on the experience. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were not attentive and focused on other tasks. Took a while for them to take our order, and food was eh. Environment was nice but food/service was subpar. $90 for mimosas/appetizer/food was a large bill considering the overall experience.

Tyler gave us excellent service. Food was good. Prices were very fair and my wife loved the salad. Great job overall. Will be back again

We went there twice and enjoyed it each time except for one thing. Unfortunately each time the service was somewhat slow. But the people working there are nice so for me the slow service was not a huge problem. The food was good each time. I did prefer the meatloaf over the Cubano sandwich, but I would order either one in the future. I really like the atmosphere. Both times we went on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't loud or crowded. I recommend this restaurant ☺️

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Maxine at Scratch Kitchen, and she made my birthday dinner so great. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Her menu suggestions were spot on she clearly knows and loves the food here. The highlight of the evening was her recommendation of the key lime pie for dessert. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. Thank you, Maxine, for going above and beyond. You turned a great meal into a memorable experience!

Drinks and food are delicious. Maxine was our waitress, she was amazing and made great dinner recommendations. Definitely will be back next time we are in town.

I just had dinner with my wife and son who's stationed out here and was very impressed. Madison was our server and she never let a glass sit empty and made sure that we were always squared away. The atmosphere has a great vibe with a mixed crowd. I will this place a regular stop when visiting OKC.

Norman, OK Mixed emotions here. The Bar was great, service and Drinks really good, 5-Star. Would have expected to see college aged bar staff, but these were seasoned bar keeps imo. Not often does the bartender crack an egg to get the whites. The food however was average at best, the étouffé was just awful. It's impossible that someone tried this dish and deemed it acceptable. No exaggeration here, one of the most flavorful less dishes I've ever had. And in a dish that generally has a lot of flavor. Can't even say it was bad as it had Zero taste. The salmon sandwich was average... crabcakes-below average.

Easy Saturday breakfast stop. We arrived right at 9 when they opened with no wait. Meal came out quickly and service was kind. I would for sure stop by again and try something different. I prefer avocado toast that has mashed avocados as it's just easier to eat and you get the same avocado in each bite - but my only change as this place has it all.

I think Teddy and I may have found our new weekend lunch spot. Scratch not only has a dog friendly patio that is adorable, they have a dog friendly menu. Teddy has dementia and hip dysplasia so it's getting harder and harder to leave him alone at home. Being able to take him on car rides to cute coffee shops and restaurants when it's too hot to hit the park has been a game changer and has brought us closer together. That being said, not only am I stoked to find a new restaurant that allows my pup, but the service, ambiance and food are impeccable. It's cute indoors also from what I could tell, but the patio is colorful and they had an indie playlist circa 2010 playing. I ordered the Sriracha Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp and it was one of the best Caesars I've had in a long time. The lettuce was crisp, the cheese and dressing weren't overpowering and the shrimp was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It wasn't tough or chewy and burst with flavor. My waitress checked on us frequently.

I have been going here for years. Great place for a good drink and some good food. This time however, they have added Gumbo to the menu. From someone that has been to the bayou more times than I can count, I will whole heartedly say this dish took me back there! This was some of the best Gumbo I've had since my last trip to New Orleans. I would say this is a must try on their menu if you like Cajun food!!

First time here and it was great. Restaurant was very clean and the staff was super nice. Certain cocktails are on happy hour so that's a plus! Will definitely be back

It's a rare occasion we are out for brunch and since we're out of towners, we decided to pop in to see what this place was all about. Sure glad we did! First we were sat right away! The place we tried to go for breakfast right before this place told us we had to wait 30-50 minutes. Not only were we greeted by friendly waitstaff, they gave wonderful recommendations. Without much hesitation, we ordered the botanas and hangover hash. Boy they both were delicious and beautifully plated. Needless to say we finished quickly and were back on the road in a jiffy. We'll definitely stop by the next time we drive in this area!

After moving to Norman I have been to Scratch a few times. I like this place and enjoy the drinks most but I do find them inconsistent in service and food quality. (the last time we went in for lunch, my food was delivered cold and the service was not attentive at all). I will continue to go there because I like the atmosphere and cocktails and maybe stick to appetizers. It's still a very nice restaurant and you should check them out!

Great food & excellent service! Sat at the bar quickly & had a really great cocktail, Dark Fantasy. Burger was good, but I forgot that--out West--well-done is the norm. Still: tasty with crispy shoestring fries. Nice chill ambiance, too.

Maxine was of great service. She served our table of ten with no issues at all. She even brought out a birthday treat for our friend! So sweet of her. I recommend her to everyone. Top tier quality!!!

Since our son lives in Norman, we asked him where to go for brunch, we are glad we did. The hostess said it would be a 45 minute wait, we didn't have to wait that long. I'm sorry I don't remember our server's name (she's from England), but she did an outstanding job. We started off with drinks, black coffee, 2 flatliners and a mimosa. They were soooo good. For an appetizer we got the basket of biscuits with house made jams. So soft and buttery. My mother in law had a short stack with eggs and bacon, my husband had the french toast with banana caramel sauce, our son had the breakfast tacos and I had the country fried steak and eggs with their house made ketchup(so tasty). We will definitely be back to try some of their other entrees.

I don't know if I'll go back. We really wanted to try the pickles but they were out. That would be a reason to return at least once. We went for dinner service. We sat at a high top near the bar . It was a decent enough atmosphere but nothing exciting. Our server was very nice. I was not impressed with the items I ordered. It's almost like the kitchen doesn't taste what they're sending out. Maybe my expectations were too high for a place named Scratch? The ranch was good! That's where the positive experience halted with the food. The bean and corn salsa seemed like cans dumped into spongy diced tomatoes with zero seasoning. The fried tomatoes themselves were also not seasoned? My entree, the creole seafood pasta was odd. The pasta was fresh but overcooked and just seconds from being mush. Both the shrimp and crawfish were tasteless. The sauce had a hint of spice but that's it. Again there seemed to be no additional seasoning but garlic that I think may have come from the bread? It was a completely joyless meal. There was no love coming from the kitchen.

Great atmosphere and cocktails. Service was also good. My entrée; however, was terrible. The potatoes were over salted and the Corn & Crab Cake Melt was absolutely disgusting. It was a sloppy mess and way too fishy. Also, I was not impressed with the addition of mozzarella cheese on top of the buried crab cake. It did the dish no favors. If you do come out for brunch, please try the Chicken Fried Steak. Grabbed a piece off my husband's plate and it was incredible.

Service was great! Drinks were good. Hawaiian rolls appetizer were boarder-line burnt Got the Hawaiian burger was soggy and not good fries were cold. Also ordered the seafood pasta it was watery and 0 flavor. Will not come back

First time there and Rose our server was outstanding. The food was okay but we will not be returning. The atmosphere was cool and probably a great place for cocktails and appetizers.

Delicious food, made from scratch. Served beautifully with great service. Rachel was a wonderful server and made our dining experience delightful. Highly recommend, eeven for vegetarians.

First time visiting Scratch. Over all experience was fair. Little bummed out as a few items we tried to order they were out of. The food made up for it though. Appreciate the gluten free options and will give another shot.

There is street parking around the restaurant but depending on what is going on it might be a bit of trek. The entry is small but cute. It has a fun vibe inside. We did have a reservation and so we were seated quickly for our party of 4. The server was attentive throughout our meal with refills and drink orders. Everyone enjoyed their food, presentation was good. I had the steak with truffle fries and Brussel sprouts. The flavor was excellent for the Brussel sprouts. The truffle fries flavor was more subtle. The steak was cooked perfectly. We tried several seasonal drinks and I kept to the gin selection of the aviation and slip and slide. The aviation was excellent but the slip and slide had too much of a cucumber flavor for me. We were too full for desserts. My only critique was that it got super hot at one moment (at first I wasn't sure if it was a hot flash but it wasn't just me- thank goodness) but it eventually cooled back down.

We were on the way home from a trip and decided to stop at this random little place, it was super cute, we sat outside because it was so nice out but both the inside and out had a great vibe to them! The service was amazing! Our waiters name was Tony, he greeted us first with some warm towels for our hands, definitely was not expected, but a nice surprise, he was an amazing waiter and everything came out in a very timely manner, faster than we expected. The worker that brought out our food to us was also awesome, very sweet girl also made sure that we had everything we needed and treated us like we were her own table! There was not a time where I needed some thing or somebody and couldn't find someone, the staff looked ready to help out in anyway needed whether it was a bus boy, food runner, waiter, or manager. My only downside to this experience, unfortunately was the food, we got the pimento cheese wontons, they definitely were not bad, but not something I would order again. It was my first time trying these not sure if they're just not my cup of tea. We also got the mac & cheese burger and the pimento chicken sandwich. I was disappointed in the chicken sandwich because you couldn't really taste the pimento at all, and I don't think the chicken had much flavor to it. I do want to say everything we ordered came looking amazing and was plated very well. I personally did not care much for the burger, but my fiancé enjoyed it very much and the bacon brussels sprouts are to die for give them a try!

My husband and I went to dinner last night at Scratch for date night around 8:00pm. We waited 10 minutes for a table and then were seated in a corner booth. We waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table to at least bring water and take our drink order. As many servers and wait staff scurried past our table, we attempted several times to get their attention but no one never acknowledged us. We ended up leaving.

Something has happened to this location and I hope they are able to turn it back around. We won't know. We won't be back. Expensive with low quality food. We obviously did not eat our food and they just gave us our bill and didn't ask or offer any thing different, but they were willing to serve it as it appears also. Appetizer was burnt and cold .... Everything else was either burnt or uncooked or looked like it dried out sitting at the bottom of the pan all day.

Great food! I had the cajun pasta, and my wife had the pancetta wrapped chicken breast. We started off with the spinach dip. The spinach dip tasted so fresh and homemade. The picture we posted doesn't do it justice, because I had to taste it, then my wife said "pictures!" Oops. My cajun pasta was great. Perfect flavor. It had a good amount of crawfish and shrimp. My wife's chicken and the parmesan risotto were out of this world, too. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and gave great suggestions. The atmosphere was great for a date night. Slightly dimmed, but not too dark. Seating areas were beautiful, with beautiful fabrics on the seat backs of the booth part of the table. Place settings were perfect. The artwork in our spot had some nice abstract art. I highly recommend this spot, and we will be back.

Nice place to go for lunch. This was my second visit. The restaurant was not busy at all. It has a cute hipster aesthetic in my opinion. Cute places for some photo ops with friends. Nice for a date night or a bite to eat with friends. They are known for their old fashions and home made ketchup. My group came here for lunch and we had a good experience overall the food was tasty the company was good and the playlist kept us bopping. Looking forward to the next visit.

This is the only place in Norman to go for crispy bacon on your burger. Their kitchen and bar staff is so attentive, that you will get the perfect drink and the perfect main course. I take out-of-towners here to impress them, while also making sure I am well fed. Food presentation is outstanding, but the taste even exceeds the presentation. You cannot find a better menu in Norman.

Food was yummy! LOVED the gumbo. Chicken pasta was a little bland, as was the asparagus. The Brussel sprouts were amazing

Tyler was the most amazing bartender! Very kind, efficient and great with customers! My husband and I had the seafood pasta and the flank (substituted the fries with brussel sprouts). The restaurant was very clean and had a great feeling to it. It was our first time and we will absolutely be returning!!

This is my favorite restaurant in Norman! The food is great along with the service. Highly recommend!

I went to Scratch for the first time today with a friend and it was fantastic! High-quality food, delicious drinks, fantastic vibe, and our waitress, Catie B, was so helpful and friendly!! I have a gluten sensitivity and very much appreciated the clearly marked menu, wide variety of gluten-free options, and the very clear caveat of what might be contaminated, etc. I definitely plan on going back. Thank you, Catie and Scratch!

Despite the sign on their door we spent our entire brunch in a cloud of cigarette smoke on their enclosed patio. I asked if smoking was allowed and no one knew if it was allowed or not. They said they would address it but did not and the table continued to smoke. We had a child with us. If we would have known we were to sit in the smoking section of this restaurant, we would have sat inside. Very unpleasant experience.

Went here for a family outing and had an awful experience. The food was flavorless no one finished their meal, ended up giving the food to the dog. All of the drinks were just awful, lacked flavor and most importantly alcohol. I will admit the atmosphere is very nice with a closed in pet friendly patio, however the sevice was AWFUL. We had a young blonde male waiter who would disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time and come back saying he "got caught up" meanwhile the place was not full at all and when we went to the bathroom most of the servers were sitting down in a booth. Would not recommend this place to anyone for a good drink, decent food or good service. Also extremely pricey to have such poor dishes.

Food was less than mediocre. All of our entrees were poorly cooked, like the kitchen just did not care. My biscuits were the opposite of soft and fluffy and their "famous fried chicken" was rubbery with not an inch of crispiness or tenderness. And they didn't have decaf coffee. Go to the stupid store!!! This place came highly recommended so I know they can do better. They just chose not to today.

We walked in on a Saturday so we knew we had to wait a bit. I wasn't sure why it took a so long considering we were the only people waiting for a table but it was fine. We waited about 30 min for a heated patio seat. They sat us at a plastic table right next to a large party which was very loud and drunk. The heated patio was more like a dark wind tunnel which was cold and made everything echo, we could barely hear each other. The large party kept spreading out and standing next to our table making it very hard to enjoy our meal. They finally left after we finished eating. I'm not sure why we had to wait so long for this awful seat. If such a large party was there they should have sat us inside. Disappointed because the food was good but the experience was so bad that we will not be back

The food--you guys everything here is made from scratch and you won't find anything that comes close in Oklahoma. The food is unique and perfectly delightful. Good sized servings. I ordered eggs Benedict and I had never seen a slice of ham this big ever! I had to share the ham with my husband--he was more than ok with that--because the ham was massive-like more than an inch thick! They put quality over profits, that's for sure! You will never see that anywhere else. Locally sourced food. I mean, the food quality is from a different time/place in the best kind of way. Ambiance--compared to other nearby brunch places, this place is the best. So quiet and calm with really cute decorations. Music was fun but not intrusive. We were here for brunch on a whim and so glad we got in right when they opened so no crowds. I noticed the happy hr menu and thought "oh we'll be back for a fun date". Service--the staff was polite and kind. Never rushed! Gave good recommendations. Perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness. Next time we will check out the patio. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Ordered a dirty martini, it came out clean. Sent it back and it came back a little dirty. I've had dirty martinis at Bob's, Nicks, Mahogoneys, and the Old Planation in Medicine Park (in a Solo cup), make them at home, this was the worst one I've ever had. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The presentation was 5/5. The sandwich was 2/5. It should be titled the soggy chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, when you've been eating Heinz and Hunts ketchup all your life, a little plastic cup of what tastes like tomato sauce is not appreciated. I guess I'm just not sophisticated enough to appreciate their culinary model.

Cocktails are good. Appetizers delicious. Love the ambience here, trendy and stylish decor, and they have live music sometimes or play popular songs on weekends. The night we came was date night so free glass of champagne and half off appetizers. Ordered spinach dip, truffle string fries, both delish. Entrees included flank steak and garlic mashed potats, and pesto bucatini. Service was quick and pleasant. Tasty bread. God flank steam and marinade. Garlic mash was okay. Bucatini was okay this time but usually delish when i have it. Great servers too

My first trip to Scratch was a late lunch this week. The atmosphere has a great vibe and the staff is gorgeous. But!!! The food sealed the deal for a return visit. I had the meatloaf and it was amazing, as was the mashed potatoes. Definitely recommend!

Our server was great, always had a smile and helped us with dinner recommendations. The environment was not super dark, but blocked out a lot of the outside light which is great for the hot summer days coming soon. My pasta (the blackened chicken pasta) was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, and the pasta had a little bit of a kick in the sauce, not super spicy or overly cheese. My friend said their BLT sandwich was yummy, it was a large portion so they couldn't finish the whole sandwich. The fries with the sandwich and the house made ketchup were incredible too. My other friend absolutely loved the catfish and the mashed potatoes and asparagus. They did get their catfish without the creole sauce, since they don't typically like creole flavoring. The catfish was still flavorful and it smelled so good. The only thing we were meh about was the Hawaiian rolls they served. They were a bit stale and lacking flavor, but the butter they served the rolls with helped to elevate the rolls. The lavender lemonade was refreshing. If you want the lemonade to taste more lemonade-y than lavender, you can just squeeze out the lemon juice in there to dial back on the lavender taste. But overall this was a great experience, we'll definitely be going back soon!

Have always enjoyed Scratch Norman, hadn't been in some time, but had lunch there yesterday and it was an awful experience. Service was very slow and inattentive while the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Food used to be excellent but yesterday it was awful. The spinach dip was okay but the meatloaf and catfish were horrible - not tasty and cold

Wow...my Angi & I found this little gem in downtown Norman, and they have great drinks and cuisine. We spent 3 hours here, so I have to tell you about our experience. We will be back soon, I want to check out your brunch!

Saturday brunch was fantastic. Service was good. Food and drinks were excellent. The crab cakes on top of the arugula was amazing. The steak on the steak and eggs was a perfect medium rare. The yolk on the eggs Benedict was a touch over cooked-but it was still yummy. Everything is scratch made-even the ketchup!! I will definitely be back
