Opening Set for Downtown Gluten-Free Bakery Scratch Made - Eater Vegas

"The self-described 'girls at Scratch' are back and have an opening date for their gluten-free Scratch Made bakery, missed by its loyal fans since it shuttered back in July. The new space in the Arts District will make it the sole retail tenant at the C3 Lofts, the purpose-built, $14 million apartment building at 1005 Third St., located a short distance from Charleston Boulevard. The 'grand opening' will take place on Nov. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon. Aiming to become the 'neighborhood bakery for good eats, your sweet-tooth & quick bites,' future opening hours and an updated menu have yet to be revealed. The original Scratch Made location, close the corner of Buffalo Drive and Smoke Ranch Road, served 'allergen friendly' creations and the team has pledged to continue the commitment downtown. Previous menu choices have included cinnamon buns, cookies, doughnuts, pizza, muffins, quiche, and custom-designed cakes." - Bradley Martin

I bought some custom cookies and cupcakes for my sister’s graduation. Everything was expertly made and so delicious! I usually don’t even like sugar cookies but these tasted so amazing. My friend and I hosted a small special event and we ordered cupcakes from Scratch. We sent a few photo ideas, said it was a "fresh garden" theme, and told them we trusted them to make something beautiful. WOW!! We were blown away when we picked up our order! The details and thought that went into each cupcake was show-stopping(they even decorated with locally grown, beautiful flowers!) We loved the addition of a little bit of gold to the flowers and blueberries. Not to mention how tasty they were!! They use REAL ingredients and we loved that this lemon blueberry cupcake was sweet but not overly sweet (this really sets them apart from other places in town). Everything they do is beautiful and custom. They went over and beyond with our order, had great pricing for a custom order and great communication as well. 100 stars!!!

This business is amazing!! I called and they fit this wedding cake in for me. I sent them a pic and it turned out beautiful. The cake was almond flavored with a lemon filling. It was very flavorful and the cake was not dry at all. The bride and groom loved it! The staff was so friendly!! I highly recommend them!! Thank you so much Scratch Made Bakery for adding to the wonderful day with such a beautiful cake!!!

My cousin had raved about this place, so we decided to check it out. This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it for brunch! The self serve water and mimosas are FREE!! the coffee (is from brewed from 806 Coffee), sodas, juice, hot/iced tea and bottled water is $2. We got there a little late so they ran out of crepes and waffles. Still not disappointed since their French toast was delicious, especially with the strawberry compote and whipped cream!! The bacon was crispy and the eggs were perfect. We will definitely have to come back soon!!

Scratch Made Bakery made and delivered our wedding cake. They did an amazing job. The cake was beautiful and perfectly matched our vision. And of course, it was delicious too! We chose different flavors for each tier, which gave a great variety. They were extremely communicative and professional, helping our big day go off without a hitch. Traveling to Las Vegas stopped in Amarillo RV park. They gave us a brochure for the town and it had the bakery listed the lady won cupcakes wars about 12 years ago. She was super nice and I guarantee you will never have a better oatmeal pie.
