Screaming Sams Hot Chicken

I ordered the combo deal with the smoothie. The chicken sandwich was great. The chicken was plump, juicy, and crispy! The slaw, pickles, and sauce (which was nice and sweet) provided a great combination with the heat level of the sandwich. The fries were crispy and had good seasoning on them. The smoothie was alright, nothing special.

Got the HOTTEST level they offer on the chicken sandwich, second hottest, for the popcorn chicken, and the second level for the tenders. I can't say enough on how flavorful and juicy the chicken is! I did get mine with no coleslaw/pickles for sandwich, if you decide to go my route, be warned the sandwich was SUPER SPICY! But Iove spicy so I was thrilled to find something I couldn't handle. Coleslaw and pickles would definitely help it. I also got a smoothie, it was a strawberry one, unfortunately I didn't get a picture as I downed it after eating the sandwich 😂. Also, the customer service was great! Very stand up guy, don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm not from Houston, here because I evacuated from hurricane and I will definitely be back everytime I'm in town. 5/5 would recommend this place!

Sandwich + Fries + Smoothie The fries were crunchy, the chicken was spicy, the slaw was slawin’. Everything came together perfectly. The chicken has a consistent thickness so every bite has the right ratio of slaw:chicken:bread along with an extra kick from the spicy fries.

I usually like to hit random food trucks close to closing time just to see how much the cooks/workers enjoy their craft. To see if they get lazy the last 20 minutes before closing. So i called 30 mins before closing ordered a samwich combo. They were all out of fries expected since it was almost closing so i had a side of coleslaw that was fantastic! The chicken sandwich came out piping hott!! Nicely seasoned an fresh chicken. I chose the Shouting flavor an it was at first bite a bit sweet then the heat creeps up on you!! All around a great spot and good food!! Will definitely come back seeing that i live 5 mins away walking distance. All though Sams screaming chicken logo looks Identical to fire wings up the streets they are not the same business even though fire wings does have their take on Nashville style chicken samwiches.

This is a hot chicken sandwich to NOT miss! We enjoyed the smoky and spicy flavors of this sandwich. The sandwich was definitely full of Nashville classic flavor with a kick - pictured are the screaming (hottest) and conversational (mild). The screaming is definitely SPICY as promised. The chicken is HUGE and juicy! The conversational for me - as described was easier on the spice. We finished both sandwiches and were very happy about the flavors and taste! Don’t forget about the smoothies - they DEFINITELY help compliment with the spice and help soothe that tongue! Overall, this was one of our top sandwiches so far. The service was awesome - the owner is very nice and takes his time to explain the flavor profiles.

First time here and it's totally worth it! Absolutely delicious! The sauces, the chicken and the whole samwich is great. Trued the whisper and the conversational and both were awesome! If you can't handle spicy, don't go further than the whisper 🔥🔥☄

Ive been wanting to try out Screaming Sams since I saw pics other people posted online. Its in a parking lot on Bellaire and Highway 6. Behind the DQ. Once I got to the truck, the young lady taking my order was very kind, and courteous. 10/10 customer service. I ordered the samich, 1 shouting and 1 conversational. And an order or shouting tenders. Shouting is basically 1 level below the hottest. The food took about 20 minutes to come out. They give you a buzzer and buzz you when the food is ready. Once it came out, I like that they labeled the boxes with which samich is shouting and which is conversational. Some places don't do that and will have you guessing if you got the right sandwich. I had the shouting samich and it was really large, juicy, and spicy. The bread is amazing. The spices had my nose running. Overall a great experience. The tenders were ok, but the sandwich is the real star. Would definitely recommend.

Excited to have another halal hot chicken spot in Houston! Sandwich- good cook on the chicken. Well done inside with a nice crispy exterior. A little bit greasy compared to other places. Fair warning, the heat levels here are underrated. I got their medium (“conversational”) and it was the level of most other restaurants Hot. My stomach def paid the price for the heat 🥴 Fries- fries were thin and crispy. They come seasoned so they won’t save you from the 🔥 of the sandwich lol Price- My combo meal was $15. This is on the higher side for hot chicken trucks but still reasonable. Service- Good service. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Ketchup, napkins, and gloves were in the bag. They have a few tables for outdoor seating, which is better than most trucks offer PS. Their peach ice tea is on point 🍑👌🤤
