Scribe

Not sure what the bad reviews are for, the app is incredibly intuitive, never has billing issues, and great share options with embed codes, etc. It takes no more than a few minutes to make a robust scribe, and the 3 viewing options are great, "Guide Me" is especially cool. Not a single down-side for this program and my company has used it for 2 years. Highly recommend if you want training guides that aren't videos, but aren't written either. This is the perfect in-between being able to highlight things, show cursor, timestamps with the steps, and more.

The free version is functionally worthless without an export function. To get around the paywall you can create the step-by-step guide with scribe, then take screenshots of each step and include them on a powerpoint that you export as a PDF.

Our company has used scribe for a couple of years now - absolutely love it. It turned an impossible company to make SOP's for into a company with processes for everything.

I canceled my subscription and they continued billing me and won't respond to emails. Would not recommend this company.
