This area is a great leisure break from the normal hustle of the city. Well maintained gardens with artistic sculptures to contemplate. You can also find a cafe style restaurant offering food and drinks here. Currently, they are constructing an ice skating rink for the winter season. If near, it's worth the venture.

The Sculpture Garden, a serene oasis nestled within the National Mall, is a delightful place to escape the bustling city. I recently had the pleasure of visiting and was immediately captivated by its peaceful atmosphere and the impressive collection of sculptures. As I strolled through the garden, I was struck by the diversity of styles and mediums on display. From abstract modern pieces to more traditional figurative sculptures, there was something to admire for every taste. The sculptures were thoughtfully placed throughout the garden, creating a harmonious balance between art and nature. Free to enter, but it closes at 5 PM.

This is a wonderful place to visit in DC anytime of year. There is live music in the summer and ice skating in the winter. I highly recommend the area for a first or second date. You can people watch and have conversations sitting along the wall. You can easily walk over to nearby restaurants or bars after.

Amidst all the museums and buildings lies this gem of a park with mindblowing sculptures. It's a double bonus during winters when you can do ice-skating here as well (ice rink in the middle of the park). Have a leisurely walk around the park with your kids and enjoy the sculptures that'll leave your in awe.

This is an exterior sculpture garden that is a great place to walk around. Know the direction as you may get lost easily if you are walking around the garden. Please note that one cannot step into the grass to respect the piece of artwork and the landscape

Not a huge park but plenty of sculptures in the space they have. With a central fountain. There is a cafe on site, but they were clearly see when we visited. A nice change of pace from the hussle and bussle of the city.

We discovered the sculpture garden by chance while walking downtown and were very pleasantly surprised. The garden is part of the National Gallery of Art. it is very peaceful, green and beautiful place and the sculptures are impressive. There is also a café where you can relax, eat or drink something. It looks like there is an ice rink in the winter.
