Scuttlebutt Brewing in Everett checks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience—great views, great food, and great vibes. Located right on the waterfront, the atmosphere is casual but lively, with a clear view of the marina that adds a perfect Northwest touch. We ordered a variety of classics, and nothing disappointed: crispy fried shrimp, flavorful fish and chips, a massive fried chicken sandwich that was nearly impossible to fit in your mouth, plus chicken strips, soft pretzels, and mozzarella sticks with a spicy marinara that had just the right kick. Everything was hot, fresh, and better than expected—comfort food done really well. Our server brought a ton of personality to the table—quick with a joke and not afraid to fire one back. It made the meal even more fun and memorable. If you’re traveling through Everett, this is an excellent stop. And if you’re a local who hasn’t checked it out yet, it’s time. Scuttlebutt was a true highlight of our trip.

A Must-Visit for Families: Scuttlebutt Brewing Delivers! My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at Scuttlebutt Brewing! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. The food was amazing, with a fantastic selection that left everyone satisfied. Seriously, bring an empty belly because you'll want to try everything they have! Beyond the delicious eats, the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and really made our visit special. And don't forget to bring a dry throat too, because their beverages are just as impressive as their food. You'll truly enjoy everything Scuttlebutt Brewing has to offer. We can't wait to go back!

Scuttlebutt is definitely a visit for the beer, but the food is mid at best. I had the fish, my friends had a wrap, and a Ruben. The best thing was the sweet potatoes fries. We were told a 45 min wait and the wait ended up being 1 hour. The beer was amazing! If you plan to go here, I recommend a beer and small bites. Skip the expensive food items! These opinions were also shared by everyone at the table. The plate itself has a beautiful presentation as seen in the photo, but lacked taste.

We had a wonderful experience at Scuttlebutt the other night for supper. We brought our beach bikes down and road them around the area then parked them where we could lock them up at the restaurant and ate supper. We ate near the bar. Our waiter was amazing. I wish I remembered his name. Our beers he recommended were on point. My burger and my boyfriends fish sandwich where so tasty. The sweet potato fries are amazing! Get them! We will return!

Great spot and really good food. Service was prompt, pleasant and quick. They have a great menu with lots of options. Love that the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Had the coconut prawns off the starter menu (about 8 small ones) and the 2 fish tacos - perfect for sharing. With 2 drinks, total came to around $60.

This is a good place to grab some drinks and have some food with friends. They have many beers to choose from. Food is prepared well. Highly recommend it if you're in the area!

I have always been a huge fan of Scuttlebutt and and still am! I was stationed in Everett from 2006-2010 and used to walk right off base. I went to the old spot right next to the base with buddies and we always appreciated the small family vibe (before they blew up which I love and am so happy for them). Now the food wasn’t the best. We are the chicken Alfredo, shrimp Alfredo and a Caesar salad. The food and I commute to love this the food was bland. The small Caesar was $15 and wasn’t amazing. Both Alfredo needed more salt and my pasta was over cooked so it felt almost like a kids pasta. Little disappointing but we will definitely be back!! McKenna our server was the best. Great communication and engaging, anything we requested she did with a smile! Great decor need to hit the patio next time! Go check it out!!

I have to go back and taste some more of their home brewing, so far so good. Nice located spot in the hearth of Everet's Port Great food another good reason to visit again.

Yelp
We were passing through and stopped in fir a quick bite. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day. We were helped by Mackenna who was so accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in our seats and brought our drinks and food without a long wait. We ordered half flight of beers and she recommended according to our likes. They were good. We ordered jalapenos medallions and pretzel and cheese. Mackenna was so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable and if we are in the area will definitely come back.

Yelp
This has been on our list since we moved to Everett because we love beer. We went on a Saturday at 5pm with a party of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). When we asked for the wait, it took the hostess several minutes to figure out the answer and they looked annoyed at our request. They said it would be a 20-30 minute wait so we went for a walk in the marina. It took almost an hour for us to get seated. We checked with the hostess once and they glared at us for asking. We finally got seated and were excited to try the beer, which was the only good thing about this place. The food was mediocre and expensive ($17.99 for a grilled turkey sandwich?!), the waiter was absent, and the vibes were off. If you're looking for a good time, there are many better establishments that won't treat you like an inconvenience for daring to want to eat at their restaurant. The decent beer was not worth the bad service, long wait, eye rolls, or mediocre food.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late lunch around 3pm and the place wasn't very busy. Still we had to wait quite a while to be seated. We also had to wait quite a bit to place our order and then to get our food. However, what I ordered, the cod sandwich was very good. I enjoyed the fish and it was well garnished with lots of veggies. The coleslaw was also quite good too.

Yelp
You may consider this to be a sweet and salty review. I ordered the fish & chips and they were spot on! Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious!! I would definitely come back for that. Unfortunately, my family who ordered the steak and bacon po' boy, French dip and Blue Moon burger all agreed that the food was terrible. It was said that the bacon had a weird taste, the burger was very dry and the French dip was not good at all. I felt a little guilty that I was the only one that enjoyed the food. I'll say it one last time. The fish & chips were excellent.

Yelp
Amaging craft beer! Smooth and fruity. Also, they serve good food. Love this brewery!

Yelp
We ordered the fish and chips! It crunchy on the outside and soft inside. It was cooked beautifully and had some good balanced flavor. Loved the fries that it came with as well. It was coated with corn starch. It was delicious. We loved that the restaurant is dog friendly and offered a small menu for dogs. We comfortably sat outside on the patio. The service was really slow though. Wish they had more servers and cooks during the weekends. We were seated after 40 mins even when we were told 20 mins and the food came in about 30 mins after ordering.

Yelp
Great food and great service!!! The place was packed and everything went so smooth and in a timely fashion! My friend had the special Spicy Thai Chicken soup and salad and loved it. Full of flavor. I had their fish and chips...YUM. Their tarter is fantastic, and I am a tarter snob. Great atmosphere, great energy, great view of the water. Go there!

Yelp
We came on a Thursday for a later dinner and it was absolutely packed! We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table, but it was worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Scuttlebutt! The skewered grilled shrimp dinner was super fresh and tasty. I had to add some salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes, but everything else was perfect! I ordered the PB&J screwball drink special and it tasted just like a PB&J...so good!

Yelp
Shout out to our amazing waitress last night at Scuttlebutt's!! We came to celebrate our friend's 48th birthday, and there was a big group of us--we were super loud (lol)! Our waitress was absolutely awesome--friendly, fun, prompt, and super attentive. She even joined in on some of the fun we were having, which made the night even better! Thanks for helping make it such a great celebration!

Yelp
This place became one of me and my daughter's favorite places to go while she was pregnant with my grandson we would go and walk the waterfront and then have our favorite salad and gluten free menu items. The menu is perfect for everyone!! The environment is so wonderful and inviting.. my favorite server will always be Makenna! She makes everyone feel like her friends and family. My grandson gets so excited to see her every time! She is attentive and hustles constantly! Scuttlebutt is lucky to have such a dedicated hard worker!!

Yelp
Great food and service. Love the views too of the marina. But our dogs LOVED their new menu. Completely spoiled.

Yelp
Came here after work for drinks and food. Service was OK. Place gets busy at dinner time. Food was good. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is not it. Very casual place.

Yelp
The best breaded cod fish and chips I have found in the area. Love me some Fish and Chips and also on the lookout for great ones and I keep returning to this location and have never been disappointed.
google avatar

Kari K.

Yelp
We have been here twice now. Went the first time on a recommendation from friends and we were told to try their fish and chips. We did...and it was great!! We also learned that the portions are large and didn't need the 2 piece. Their fried jalapeños are sooo good too!! The 2nd time (last week) was for happy hour. I tried the sliders this time, one burger and one pulled pork. Both were delicious!! Hubby got the spicy cod bites and they were indeed spicy but very good! We had great service both times as well. We will be back!

Yelp
Great food, great views of the waterfront and great beer this place has been a go to for special occasions and whenever you're hungry.

Yelp
The restaurant is located at the end of the buildings but not quite on the water - still a beautiful skyline and facing west in the dining room or outside is a great place to watch the sunset. Wait was quite long for a table on a Thursday night at 6:30, but once we were settled our food and drinks were promptly served. The drink specials were delish, and the pretzel appetizer was sooo good! I've never had a pretzel so light and fluffy and tasty - it was even better than the cheese sauce for dipping (and I loved the cheese sauce!) Our dinners were excellent as well - loved the po'boy special! Still took half home as we were stuffed from the pretzel. Oh, and our waitress Raquel was awesome!!

Yelp
Good spot for good food and drink. It's a bit loud, so if you're looking for a quiet spot, this isn't gonna be it. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are solid. I like that you can choose your side, salad, fries or soup included, and others available for a slight upcharge. Service was terrific. Good place to take the kids or a team after a game.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the cheese burger with FKC fries and everything was delicious. Braden was attentive and took great care of my needs. I sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air.

Yelp
Food is amazing everytime! The service is always great never had a problem. Ambiance is great. Fish and chips are my favorite and the frys are great.

Yelp
Solid food, service always good, was seated quickly during happy hour. Fries were great, big portions. Ranch tasted homemade and was tasty.

Yelp
Very family-friendly brewpub located in the Port of Seattle building. We walked in on a Sunday and were able to get a table right away. Service was prompt and friendly. I had a root beer this time, although I have had Scuttlebutt beer in the past and enjoyed it. The root beer was refreshing and flavorful without too much sugar. I also had a french dip - while it wasn't anything I will remember and crave, it was perfectly decent. Fries were a highlight - thick and crispy.

Yelp
Ambiance: This is a very large establishment and caters to families, large groups, or singles. The bar is self seating. The restaurant entrance is inside another building and has interesting facts to read before you enter the company. Service: Their checkin stand is friendly and their bartenders are quick to service. They also have good recommendation and let you sample a beer if you are unsure of what to order. Food: Average bar and grill food at best. The soup was good and the wings were juicy but the sauce was nothing special. The mango habanero at BWWW is much better. Their beers are their best menu item. For Everett, this place is a must visit. But in any other big city, there will be too much competition for quality food and beer. Parking is free and nearby the restaurant. I will return if in Everett.

Yelp
A local staple to the Everett waterfront, one of our oldest craft breweries and restaurants. A staple neighboring the Everett Naval Base for 26 years Scuttlebutt is one of our OG craft breweries in Western Washington, I am happy to say their beer has continued to improve and expand with the craft world along with their kitchen and full dining menu. From bellying up to the bar, sitting in the dining hall and hosting private events in the secluded back room available for reservation this is a versatile venue with an all ages option. Most recent visit had me trying the season Jambalaya as their soup de jour, great choice, middle level of spice I would normally kick up for my pallet but great for a wider audience. Will always stop in when in the neighborhood looking for a good brew.

Yelp
A fantastic spot for a meal in Everett. Great pub-style food for a family of 4 with different dietery needs and preferences (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, omnivore). Plus we could bring our dog onto the patio. It's a bit breezy from the water, so you might want to bring an extra layer, depending on the time of year.

Yelp
Food is low level ok the service once you get seated is good but the hostess are very short of friendly almost tired of people and put out. The restaurant is always busy and not sure why. Tourist are always looking for a great new place. Sorry some places are not as excited to have us as we are to spend our money there.

Debbie D.

Yelp
My rating would be zero. The food has gone down hill. We ordered a prime rib medium rare. And it came medium well. We said something to the waiter and all he did was agree with us. He didn't offer to get us another piece, nothing. The last time we were there the so called hostesses, who look 12 BTW, were snotty and down right rude. Like they owned the establishment. They were more worried about gossiping amoungest themselves than their customers. For what it costs to go out these days, and the service & quality of food, this restaurant is off our go to list. D
google avatar

Rebecca V.

Yelp
Wanted to love it. Horrible service. Servers seem to not care about customers much just there with no passion. Food we ordered was incorrect and rather than try to make it right they just put in another order that took too long to receive and never received additional rounds of drinks after ordering them. Server "forgot".
google avatar

Morgan N.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Lots of people and a view of the water. We were seated quickly and got a few beers, which were really tasty. I love that they brew their own root beer and we got a growler of it to take home. The kids menu was great, but the fish and chips that I ordered for myself were only mediocre. I kind of expected a bit more. They weren't that crispy or flavorful. I would go back, but I would probably order something else next time.
google avatar

Garrett B.

Yelp
Nothing to complain about this place, but also nothing really to want me to come back. The beer there was just OK, not a lot of variety, if they had more guest taps I'd consider but their house beer is average. The loaded fries were decent, if I try this place again I'll get another food choice. Inside has plenty of seating and lots of windows overlooking parts of the water. The bartender was great, gave us some inside knowledge about the decorations.

Yelp
Decent place to meet in a lovely marina location. Decent food. Service has always been ok. Decent place to meet a group.

Yelp
Went with the family for Mother's Day brunch. Our server was polite, prompt and attentive. The food however was sub standard, cold and seemed thrown together in a rush. We arrived at opening time but the restaurant filled up quickly and there was a line at the door when we left.
google avatar

Denise T.

Yelp
Great location and fun upscale bar scene. Service was great on a Sunday evening. Our table got the BBQ pork sandwich, fish and chips and French dip. If we're in the area again, we will come back!

Yelp
4/19/24..... Stopped in after a busy morning in Everett it's been a minute since we've been in Scuttlebutt. It's still the same it seems. Consistent good quality and service. We both got the three piece fish and chips. It was excellent. I was impressed with the fish. I don't usually like the bread crumb style batter but it went well with the fish. I'm not a huge fan of Scuttlebutt fries but I ate most of mine. I just would like to have an actual plate instead of a basket and piece of paper. If I'm paying restaurant prices I would like a plate. I don't think that's too much to ask. All in all it was a good visit. Our server was great too. Can't forget about her. Thank you!

John ..

Yelp
We've been to Scuttlebutt probably a dozen or so times over the years. Always enjoyed their food (fish and chips are awesome) and great service. Today, however, the food just wasn't up to par. Both my wife and I had the soup and salad combo and they both were lackluster. The clam chowder was thick and gummy and the salad felt like it came from a bag. It's about a 45 minute drive from our house to get there, so next time, I think we'll find something a little closer to home.
google avatar

Philip V.

Yelp
I went to lunch here on the 21st of March, the service was amazing, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very vibrant and friendly and place you felt very comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, everything was spot on and on point. The flavor was excellent, and presentation was great. I highly recommend this place; I definitely will be back to try more of the excellent choices on the menu.
google avatar

Sean G.

Yelp
Decent beer and the food was good but the views were amazing. The Oktoberfest beer was good but the Belgian was so so. The fish tacos were overcooked but the clam chowder was good. I'm not sure if I'll be back.
google avatar

Sofie D.

Yelp
The Admiral Burger and fresh cut fries were fantastic, the best burger I've had in Everett so far. All of the ingredients infused in the patty were fantastic but it was very messy with the mayo. The fries were 10/10. The service was hit and miss, however--one of the people in our group was vegan (and stated so twice) and ordered an impossible burger that came out with cheese on it. The waitress seemed annoyed when it was sent back.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Food is good, service is very slow and our waitress did not offer appetizers or dessert. Never came and check on us at all. Just brought our food and then came to get our plates and ask if we were ready for our bill. Never offered to fill water glasses or if we were doing okay. Ambiance is okay.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Great place to grab a beer or drink with a pretty nice menu too, staff is helpful, sometimes this place quits doing happy hour, bad move and with Tapped and S2S moving in they will have to up their game a bit, a menu refresh would be nice too, pretty much the same for the last 10 years
google avatar

Cara D.

Yelp
Beer is good. Prawns are awesome add the FKC fries to go a bit over the top. Just a bit. Both times I went my wife had the burger which looked fantastic as well. Portions were good I think there 9 good sized prawns with not a lot of breading though honestly I didn't count and the photo was on my follow on visit when I was craving prawns, and after I took a bite. Maybe I'd better go again to verify. You know for science, accuracy and well more prawns. Service has been good every time I've gone and although it can get very busy and the ambient noise can ramp up when the restaurant is full, it's still possible to carry on a conversation. Recommend for beer and for food, although like most restaurants now cheap eats it is not. I will return (prawns!).

Steve H.

Yelp
food good value. excellent fish and chips. beer great. the server Rachael was great. personable and a treat to talk with. please recognize her!!!

Yelp
I LOVE this restaurant! Great food, nice portions at a reasonable price. And beers, what's not to love? Business brings me to Everett every couple of years and Scuttlebutt Brewing Co is always a must stop! I've had most items on their menu and have no complaints what so ever. ALL great! Try it once and I believe it will become a favorite.

Yelp
BEST FOOD AND SERVICE AROUND! My coworkers and I come in here during the week days for lunch, and it's always five stars. Not only is the food absolutely amazing with great pricing, but the customer service is above and beyond. The menu has many choices, and the restaurant is always clean. I finally started asking for names because I appreciate the top of the line service we receive every time. The cooks Ezekiel & Steven are so talented, and you can tell they really put their heart, soul, and talent into what they're doing. It definitely shows. All of the waiters and waitresses are amazing. Today, we had kristian, and he went above and beyond, constantly checked on us to make sure everything was good. We always leave in great spirits and full bellies. Definitely check out this place! Plus, it's on the water, so you get a view free of charge

Dennis B.

Yelp
We had crossed this place off our list a year or two ago as the service at that time was totally unacceptable. In one instance, we had to wait 45 minutes to get a table and then we were told it would be another 45 minutes. However, have visited twice in the last couple of weeks, and it turns out they have corrected all of these problems. In both instances we were seated quickly, served quickly and got a great meal that came out much faster than we expected. The place has exceeded our expectations the last two times, we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Crystal O.

Yelp
John made a list of breweries he wanted to hit up and this was on the hit list. We were sat right away, but had to wait about 10 minutes before our server greeted us. John and Robert ordered a beer each and I ordered the pineapple upside-down cake cocktail with brown sugar bourbon, sweet and sour and pineapple juice. The boys enjoyed their beers- my drink was not as good as I imagined- Robert (young sailor that he is) helped me out and drank it for me. I ordered prime rib, Robert and John both got the Seafood Platter with tiger prawns, Alaskan cod & clam strips. Prime Rib- I actually put salt on it, while it was cooked right, it needed more seasoning (I still was very happy with my slab of beef) Tiger Prawns- light batter, wonderfully cooked and delicious Cod- thicker batter, crunchy- great filet of cod Clam strips- as expected- very good Once we had our server, he was very attentive! We enjoyed our meal here & both John and Robert want one of the t-shirts the servers were wearing. "The liver is evil, it must be punished"

David B.

Yelp
The service is generally good, and the ambiance is okay but can be loud. The food though is hit and miss. Never order the nachos. They use horrible convenience store liquid processed cheese. Do they put the same cheese on their pizza's? I would expect much more for 15 dollars. The chicken wings were undercooked. The soups are usually good. The beer is good.

Amy B.

Yelp
We visited on Sunday evening around 7 and sat in the dining room with my elderly in-laws. Service was slow even though it wasn't that busy--I think they were understaffed. We ate off the happy hour menu. It was standard fare and good beer.

Yelp
A popular place on a Friday afternoon and with good food. Will go again if back in the Everett area!
