Sea Bright Public Beach is known for its friendly, small-town energy and stretches of soft sand. Local publications like Red Bank Pulse and Asbury Park Press note its community-run concessions and locally owned surf shops, which add authentic flavor to a day at the shore. The beach is never too crowded, and the adjacent Sea Bright Village features beloved breakfast spots and quirky boutiques. It’s a wonderful option for those who want a peaceful atmosphere without sacrificing amenities or a sense of place.

Seabright beach is a great hangout spot for friends and family. The beach is free after 5PM and usually everyone packs up around that time so you can enjoy the beach by yourself. There are many stores around like Dunkin Donuts where you can grab some drinks and donuts and enjoy them on the beach. It's a well maintained, clean beach and it's a great place to visit.

Great beach. The parking is a little annoying bc it's for 2 hours and then you have to move your car. Pictures show how some spots are numbered. So in case you are drunk, you will definitely get a ticket for putting in the wrong number in for your parking spot. Lol

I took my daughter to this beach today, a Wednesday morning. What a mess! Getting in or out of the downtown took at least 30 min. Finding park took some 40 minutes. I couldn’t actually get in the beach because (after going through all this!) they only took cash -an ATM meant another 30min of traffic plus another battle to find parking. Add to the fact I drove 1.5hrs just to get to this beach, to have this level of frustration… Lovely place. Impossible to enjoy (in my experience).

First time here with my family including 3 kids under the age of 10. We arrived at 9:45am and the parking lot was almost full to capacity (not too surprising since it is Sunday) but we were lucky to get a space. Payment for parking was easy at the kiosk but they also have an app to do so. Cash only for daily badges located at the entrances. Beach was nice and clean. -1 star because there seems to be limited parking, no street parking from what I was able to see - only the lot in front of the beach.

Best Place on Earth! I lived across the street from the seawall growing up. Spent most my childhood running up and down that beach. Wonderful Memories.

My family arrived at Sea Bright beach today and had quite a terrible experience. Two young ladies at the booth saw my family arrived with two pups on leashes but waited until after my family paid the 32 dollar entry fee to tell them that dogs were not allowed on the beach. The signs near the entrance state however that dogs are allowed on the beach on leashes. Despite my family’s confusion because of this contradiction my family decided to leave but first ask for a refund as they weren’t going to enter the beach. The two young ladies at the booth rudely expressed that there were no refunds and when my family tried to question the rationale of paying to not end up entering, one young lady rolled her eyes and told my mother to “calm down” twice when my mother was simply asking questions. My family requested that the manager come and instead of being courteous and professional the manager preceded to tell my family to move away from the booth, that no refunds were permitted and to leave the beach. Rather than answer any questions with any minor detail and be informative she was aggressive and rude and even tried to twist my father’s words (what it seemed was a willing misunderstanding of my father’s accent to then twist his words). Despite the contradicting signs and rules my family was ready to cooperate while the manager and two young ladies were ready to treat my family in a condescending, aggressive and unprofessional manner. And instead of creating a learning opportunity for the two young ladies the manager encouraged their entitled behavior and thus made a fool of herself. We later learned, on reading the website and following a few links, that dogs are only allowed on leashes during a certain part of the year. They could have easily communicated that information in a respectful manner but instead chose to be dismissive and rush my family off the beach with no information. We were all left feeling uneasy.
