We went for dinner, our server was Katelynn and she did a great job going over the menu, letting us know the market price and was very attentive! We decided to go the boils: king crab, shrimp, Manila clams and added on corn/potatoes with the Cajun garlic butter sauce and Super Kim Sea Noodles - the king crab was tender and very flavorful. The sauce was more on the sweet side, not like a bay seasoning flavor, but very delicious and addicting! Parking is limited due to share parking lot with the apartment and would recommend going with a smaller group.

My friend and I have been trying a new restaurant each week, and today it was S.E.A crab house in Beaverton Or. At first glance, it was like most small restaurants, but once the food started to arrive, we began to realize this was not an ordinary lunch. We ordered calamari and crab cakes. 🦀 The calamari was ok, but the crab cakes were amazing, they were all crab meat and a light crust. Best I have ever had. We then had amazing lunch specials. Lobster roll and crab roll that each came with clam chowder and full-size desserts. The rolls were filled with nothing but lobster or crab meat with a little mayo to bind the meat. Clam chowder was very tasty, and we each got the Meyer lemon cake, which had so much flavor. They told us they have just been open for a few months, but I can say it's well worth giving it a try. It's worth every penny!

Google
We ordered 2 boils custom. Both came out piping hot in less than 10 minutes. We had crab legs, mussels, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, potatoes and corn. Absolutely nothing was under or over cooked. Everything was perfect and the beer was ice cold. Service was on par and exceptionally friendly. Definitely recommend dining in.

Google
My best friend and I met up to catch up on life and we loved this place! The atmosphere was fun and our server was very attentive and quick with her service. When the food came out I could tell the quality was top notch. We got the Sea variety platter $99 along with the signature Sea sauce and it was delicious!! A fun dining experience worth having again. I highly recommend this place!

Google
The staff was friendly and the service was fine. The atmosphere was a bit drab and lacked decor. Not very inviting. Super pricy...not worth $186 for lunch. We ordered the king crab at $120 market per pound plus everything was ala cart if you order the boil. A cup of clam chowder will cost $9😮 Nothing knocked my socks off.

Nathaniel Schroeder

Google
Great atmosphere and location! I ordered the Super Kim Noodles which were very delicious. Nice sweet thai chili taste and very filling. I will be bring my friends to order a crab boil as the couple next to me had one. It looked like a lot of fun and they said the butter was tasty.

Nathan Keith

Google
Good fresh oysters. The cocktails were wonderful and expertly made. The staff was sweet and attentive. Thank you Silvia F for making our little ones 6mo excursion enjoyable. We will be back time and time again. Order the treasure chest drink while it lasts. The only thorn to share is price, but prices are going to be in this day and age and will probably never decrease. Keep up the good work. Bravo Zulu from 2 sailors.

Google
I loved them SEAFOOD boiled!!!Have very good sauce!! and staff was super nice. Great atmosphere and clean. We would be back!!

Yelp
Came on a Monday night after 7PM, so very empty. Service was excellent - despite being empty, they didn't rush us to close, or clean up. Food was good and came really fast (again...we were the only people there) Gumbolaya Bowl - a hearty serving of seafood in a tomato base soup. Could been hotter tempature-wise. Salad Roll with crab - excellent. Street Tacos - Good, but kind of basic/bland. Drinks - Very expensive Seafood Cajun Bloody Mary - This was awesome....came with 2 decent sized crab legs and shrimp...really good. Overall - the service was excellent, and the food was good, but frankly speaking - the entire meal was way over priced.

Yelp
Originally from the Bay Area and we've been looking for a place to help replace Boiling Crab. THIS IS THE PLACE! This was our first time coming here and my god it's so delicious! The shrimps were huge, came in piping hot and with more than enough sauce. The garlic bits were huge, which I love and appreciate! Fiancé and I enjoyed the Cajun creamy garlic butter sauce a little more than the lemon pepper but both were still great choices. Our server was very helpful and suggested we opt out of the separate Cajun fries and just change the regular fries to Cajun in our fish and chips. He suggested if we wanted more fries we could just order more later which was a really good move considering this was more than enough for two people already. Definitely coming back here again!

Yasmin S.

Yelp
So delicious! The food was so fresh and packed with flavor. I would definitely get the noodles when I return. The only downside is that I wish there was more lobster In the lobster rolls since $29 is pretty pricey for that. I will be returning.

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Was excited to try this new crab place within an apartment complex, and I would say it's worth trying out but here's my list of... Pro's: - clean - friendly servers - quick seating - convenient location (right off Murray & Canyon) - fresh oysters - create a custom crab plate (especially good for smaller appetites or if you want to pick exactly how many pieces of corn or potatoes) - a good selection on the menu of seafood Con's: - pricier than some other crab spots (Pacific Boil, Kracked Crab cart) - crab sauce was not very flavorful or balanced, sweetness overpowered everything (both Cajun garlic butter and simple Cajun sauce) but could be good for those who can't do spicy - the additions are all a la carte: for crab, potatoes, shrimp, corn, you have to specify how many you want of each (would be nice to have a few combos of the most popular meals with set prices) We only tried the crab and oysters so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, and we didn't try the spicy sauces that they're more known for so it could be a miss on our part, but due to price point I'm inclined to order from our go-to crab place in town (Pacific Boil) since we like their combos and know what to expect from their flavors. Sea Crab House seems like a restaurant that's best for couples or tables less than four people, for those who want the option to choose exactly what they want in their crab boil vs a preset menu, and folks who enjoy sweeter and milder flavors.

Yelp
We were looking for some seafood for lunch and found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try! I got the lobster roll, we shared the butterflied shrimp as an appetizer. My husband got crab tacos which he thought were delicious! I got the lychee martini which was very strong and very good! The lobster roll was just ok. Flavor wise it was great! The bread was flaky and delicious! But the size was pretty small for the price. We definitely enjoyed our lunch and would go again, but next time we will try the broil for the money!

Kevin N.

Yelp
When we got to the restaurant, it was almost packed. Got there at around 7:30pm for dinner, was greeted and got sat right away for a party of 5. The tables and chairs were clean. Silverware and glassware were also clean. Even the menus were wiped down. The restaurant just felt lively. Once we placed our order, I was surprised at how fast everything came out. No more than 10 minutes. We ordered 2 of the S.E.A Sampler with the S.E.A Special Sauce and added spicy sausages. It also came with garlic bread. We also got the fried calamari and fish & chips. Good amount of shrimp, crawfish, clams and mussels. They were all good sizes too, especially the shrimps. They were huge! Potatoes were good and the corn was very sweet and crunchy. Everything from the sampler was delicious. The S.E.A special sauce was tangy and just a good amount of spicy. Dipping the garlic bread in the sauce was next level. Fried calamari was good. The fish and chips were also good. Nothing to complain about. The price is a little bit on the expensive side. However, if you can't get to the coast and live close by and craving some seafood boil, this place is well worth checking out. Overall, great food, great service, great experience. Would for sure come back again to try out their other items

Corina G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! I loved the experience. I was there twice within the same 2 weeks. Great service, and will definitely be there again soon.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We tried this tasty new Seafood place located in Beaverton very close to home called (SEA)crab house. It's a fresh take on SouthEastAsian flavors added to your seafood faves. They have everything from Gumbo to seafood boils. Price point is a little high for what you actually get. Overall no complaints other than tiny little things. We started with the calamari, Oysters and cup of clam chowder. Chowder was very creamy and good flavor. Hubby enjoyed his Oysters with the different type of topping they had in comparison to the classic Oyster cocktail sauce and horseradish with hot sauce. The calamari breading is very crunchy, you can't taste the calamari because the breading. Fries were good and crispy just needed salt. The crab and lobster rolls were good but had way to much paprika to where it was a bit bitter until you taste the sweet lobster or crab. It was all crab and lobster no fillers. The bread was perfect and squishy inside and had a nice buttery crunch on the outside. Overall a good experience, price point was too high to probably ever go back again.

Amanda K.

Yelp
We had the BEST experience eating here. Our server, Eric (no K's here as he said) was so bubbly and knowledgeable about the menu. He suggested a few things which we got and LOVED. We enjoyed eating the salad rolls with shrimp, lobster, Dungeness crab, shrimp, corn on the cob, spicy sausage, and garlic bread. We left completely satisfied and will definitely go back again. It was also particular nice that Eric told us what the market value was for each item as we were ordering. There were no surprises when the check came.

Amy A.

Yelp
Our first visit here. It's kind of in an apparent shopping complex. Not necessarily way to get to. The service was great and explained everything and answered all of our menu questions. I would not repeat the experience as I found it to be really overpriced. Maybe it's normal to charge extra For a potato or piece of corn in these types Of restaurants, but if spending &150 on lobster I'd expect it would be included. I feel like there are so many other options in preparing seafood. This one was just not it for us.

Patrick D.

Yelp
Our first time here and our experience was less than satisfactory. I'm being polite here. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and immediately handed off to someone who seemed very inexperienced in serving people. Granted, the place was nearly empty. They open at noon during the weekends and we showed up around 1:30pm. Down to the nitty-gritty - We ordered: "Super Kim" SEA Noodles, Fish and Chips, bowl of clam chowder and "ceviche." First, the clam chowder was probably the best part. It was (kinda) hot and had lots of clammy bits in it. The menu said it had a southeast Asian twist, but we couldn't really tell. It still tasted good. But it arrived before the appetizer, which I thought was weird. So let's talk about that next. The "ceviche" is not really ceviche. I've never had anyone just bring me a small cup of bay shrimp, swimming in cocktail sauce. It was dressed up with fanned avocado slices on top. My wife's order were the noodles. We're Asian btw. So when her order arrived looking like a plate of oversauced spaghetti, we just knew we weren't coming back. She also asked for cajun fries instead of the loaf of garlic bread she got instead. We went agead and reminded our server that we should've gotten cajun fries. I almost forgot - the noodles were dressed with an assortment of manila clams, shrimp, mussels and some tiny pinch of crab meat. The shrimp was ok, though I thought they were underdone (like what you'd expect from a sushi joint). The mussels and clams were super tiny. I thought the clams were empty shells at first. Lastly, the fish and chips. I love fish and chips. I use it as a baseline to judge a fish house on. It's so simple - it's either great or terrible.... It wasn't great here. Not really terrible except I got charged an arm n' a leg for four 2-bite chunks of fish. The fries/chips were also limp and close to room temperature. BUT it's a good thing we reminded them of the forgotten cajun fries. Because they came out hot and crispy. The end.

Brenda H.

Yelp
The seafood here is so fresh. If you like seafood, it is absolutely delicious and portions are comfortable. My friends and I made a reservation for dinner but it was early in the evening so there were plenty of seats. It filled up more around dinner. Our server was very polite and the wait staff was on top of maintaining a nice clean table all dinner. We ordered the bread service as an appetizer. The crackers were delicious, crunchy and beautifully salted. I ordered the NW Shellstock stew. It has a nice tomato flavor bad and it was filled with delicious shellfish and fish. Everything was cooked perfectly and exactly what I wanted for a cool night in Bellevue. My friends ordered the king salmon and the Chilean sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly. They were tender and well seasoned. It matched their sides to make a really lovely complete meal. We will definitely be back.

Angela P.

Yelp
If you want my take on things, if you have been wanting to dine here, I would suggest you give them a few months. Dining here was a chaotic experience from the moment we walked in. We were asked 3 different times from different people if "we had a reservation." They did not appear to have a host so all the servers were popping in whenever they had a moment. When we first sat down, our server was very attentive and sweet. We ordered the crab artichoke dip, which was very good, and I had a Lavender Cosmo drink, which was not great. However, my friend had the blood orange margarita, which I think was the highlight of all the drinks we ordered. If I was to return I would get that.  If you do go there, I would advise sticking to one of the boils, as everyone but me had that and they seemed super happy. The server even brought a couple of side sauces for us to try. I really liked the creamy cajun. Not sure if I would want the entire boil covered in it, so it was not to have it on the side. The big disappointment was the lobster roll. The lobster itself was dry, and the bread was hard and chewy. Nothing like the traditional soft buttered bread.  I think what adds to the chaos is the noise level. They should offer ear plugs at the door. They did nothing to the restaurant to help dampen the sound. If you do go, I would recommend going on an off time, like 4PM when they open. Otherwise, you might leave with a headache.

Kiki C.

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The only thing is that it took a long time to get our food which is pretty normal with seafood so I can understand that. The drinks were delicious. My favorite was the strawberry Moscow mule, high recommend!! Overall grat time. Will come again to try the broil.

Shane W.

Yelp
I grabbed the taco tuesday fish tacos and was pretty happy. The fish was tasty, and the sauce was full of flavor with a good kick.

Samantha K.

Yelp
Seafood was really fresh but the simple garlic boil didn't have much flavor, knocking off a star for that and definitely will try a different flavor next time. Jenna our server was sweet and got us what we needed.

Liz R.

Yelp
Sylvia was our server and she is the sweetest and gave us great service! It's so hard to find a good seafood boil in the Portland metro and we 100% recommend SEA! Sooo good!

Kapua J.

Yelp
Finally a seafood boil spot on this side of town! My server Eric was awesome and genuinely let me know what was good when he explained my options. I built my own boil with 1lb of prawns and 1lb of crawfish and the food came out pretty quickly. 10/10 recommend the cajun butter garlic sauce. The prawns were huge and juicy and the crawfish slapped. The sides you're able to add are a little expensive but the seafood is truly worth it.

Chris W.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this one. It's brand new and so close to where I live. But the truth is we had an amazingly average meal, and that's being fairly generous, truth be told. I'm a big fish and chips guy, so I went with my standard. They were the dictionary definition of 'meh'. They certainly weren't bad, just incredibly unmemorable. What was bad was the tartar sauce. It basically tasted like Miracle Whip with a bit of relish. Very disappointing. Speaking of, my dining companions both got crab rolls. They were a joke. You couldn't even see what little crab was in there. The sandwich filling had been whipped into an unrecognizable mush, and both my friends told me they couldn't locate any crab within. They said it just tasted like bread and mayonnaise. The cost of these sandwiches? $35 each. You might say, well, you didn't order the crab boil, which is what the restaurant is known for. You'd be right, but the table next to us did, and they politely told the waitress that it was completely devoid of flavor. They clearly were not enjoying their ($100+) meal, either, so I don't feel like I missed much. I'm giving them points because the service was very warm and friendly, my fish and chips weren't out and out terrible, and they were very new at the time. Growing pains aren't uncommon in any new restaurant, and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Stacy C.

Yelp
Walked in to an all but empty dining room. Asked for name and phone number. Seated, took quite awhile for waitstaff to get to the table. Prices are sky high. 'Hot butter' is flavored oil. Calamari has to be the worst I've had. SO bad. Fish micro tacos were ok. Corn on the cob chewy. Garlic bread was an individual loaf of sourdough with butter/oil and raw garlic over it. An order of garlic bread, corn on the cob, calamari, fish tacos + tip= $47. The Dungeness crab boil was $18lb! It says makers cost, crabs are $5.99lb for the last month Raw garlic taste the rest of the day. Never have I been to such a bad restaurant in such a long time..

Michelle S.

Yelp
I had such a great experience here! We were celebrating so we ordered quite a bit! Not only was the staff amazing, but all the food was too! Particularly loved the crab cakes (chalk full of crab!), fish tacos and of course, the sea food boil. Highly recommend this place!!

Samantha M.

Yelp
I'm really bummed that we took my partner's parents here for the last dinner of their visit. Based on the reviews I was hoping this was a hidden gem close to home, but I was quickly turned off. We came here for the oysters, which was probably the best thing from our order...as an appetizer, was the last thing to be served. Their garlic butter sauce for our boil had WAY too much sweetness and lacked any seasoning. It was disappointing and the seafood tasted over cooked. The thai garlic noodles basically tasted like they used the same overly sweet boil sauce. As a Thai person... I couldn't find anything "Thai" about this dish. Best thing to come out with the dish was the garlic bread. It just felt dirty but not in a good dive bar kinda way. Their decor was lacking and I just didn't understand the flow of seating arrangements. I did not find anything exciting about our visit and hope they find a way to improve...

BK S.

Yelp
The shrimp avocado ceviche great. Otherwise the lobster boil just okay and at $72 very expensive. The fish and chips showed their oil not at good temp(limp chips) greasy fish. Service spotty. Had to ask twice for straw. The sausage on boil was good. Maybe they will get better ...

Shawn M.

Yelp
Service was good. The bartender was out but they still were able to produce a decent cocktail. The food arrived promptly, however both dishes were vaguely sweet ordered the simple Cajun and it was spicy, but didn't hit the mark for Cajun.

Sandra W.

Yelp
Food was delicious! We have never eaten here before, our waitress Josephina was very knowledgeable and helpful for the ordering process. She was also very attentive. We ordered, "pick your own boil" for 4 adults to share. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere! Will definitely come back again.

Kristina S.

Yelp
I came from out of town to spend the weekend in Oregon, and was SO bummed to hear the Seaside location had closed! But, thank goodness the new Beaverton location was on the way!! I tried the artichoke bread bowl, which wasn't on the menu before, and it was delicious!! For the main course I ordered 1lb king crab & 1lb snow crab with the Sea seasoning, NO SPICE. It was just as phenomenal as I remembered. It DOES still have spices and a LITTLE kick. It's just the right amount of flavor. It came HOT and was served quick! I don't order any sides, I come here just for the crab. Its so good, that you won't WANT to fill up on anything else!!

Gaye R.

Yelp
All good. We did a huge boil with Cajun garlic butter. This is what true finger licking good truly is. Jenna the waitress made this birthday celebration delightful with amazing service. Highly recommend this is so fun!

Sohee K.

Yelp
The boil was delicious with the SEA source. Overall, my experience is great with a delicious food and kind service, but little bit long waiting time which Seafood normally took long cooking time. We'll definitely be back next time! The Calamari and the Clam chowder are very good for appetizers.

Arturo E.

Yelp
Buenisimo! Great food, service and enjoyed the a la carte boil menu. Crabs and shrimp were great!

Anastasia P.

Yelp
the food was perfectly cooked and seasoned! the seafood all tasted very fresh and delicious and the service was fantastic from Rachel! messy hands but full tummies!

Eliza T.

Yelp
The sauce was so flavorful with generous portions of fresh seafood! We weren't sure if we'd like the sauce and the server brought a sample of it prior to ordering to sample. They were kind to my daughter and gave her a slice of cake for her birthday afterwards! We will be back!

Jasmin T.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, clean and friendly restaurant. Our food arrived nice and warm and in a timely manner.

Andrew S.

Yelp
I've been wanting to find a good new seafood place for quite a while and this place didn't disappoint even a little bit. I got the chowder and it was some of the best I've ever had! I also had the crab roll and it was STUFFED with crab. I'm looking forward to coming back soon and trying o e of their seafood boils!

Janelle P.

Yelp
Had a great experience with our lovely server Jenna, and the food was so so good! High recommend the Sea Sauce, it had a mild kick and was super tasty. Can't wait to come back.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
Jenna was an amazing server!! Great food and fun atmosphere. Delicious fresh seafood that I didn't think we would be able to finish, but soon found an empty plate in front of me. Definitely want to come back to try the crab roll.

Angela I.

Yelp
It's frustrating wanting to order for pick up called +1 (503) 352-4424 attached to the business and no employees can answer wtf "memory is full enter the remote access code" fix your phone system

Glaucus D.

Yelp
Food and service was awesome, Eric was the best waiter! Food was very good, fish and fries was super good and the stuffed avocado was beyond good and steamed clams were very good also! We will be back!!

Kitty N.

Yelp
The boil was on the sweet side and pricing is expensive. On top of that they will automatically charge you with gratuity once you have 5 people, even if one is a infant.

Glen A.

Yelp
I had a good dinner. Thank you for dinner lanea I had a good Mac and cheese. I like the way of the carb cake taste like

Heather N.

Yelp
Overpriced barely mediocre. Came in with reservations for 8:30 we wanted oysters, they had 6 left. Asked for cocktails in a specific glass twice, not done. Watered down drinks, food was way overpriced and tasteless! Some of our mussels were just shells! Ordered fish and chips-no flavor and way over fried with limp fries. Was very excited to try this spot...HUGE disappointment! Not coming back. Over $100 for watered down drink, a beer and some food. Horrible.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
We've ate at the SEA Crab House in Astoria and enjoyed it. It was overpriced there but everything was fresh and good. So we wanted to try out the new location in Beaverton. Service was great! Environment was clean. We ordered clam chowder, seafood boil with 2lbs of dungeness crab, a 1lb of clams & 2 corns. We also got an Arnold Palmer and Blood Orange Margarita. Flavor of boil was good. We were told the crab would be fresh and was so disappointed to find out it wasn't. The 2lbs of "fresh crab" was really only a little over a pound. The corn was soggy and the white rice was mushy. The Arnold Palmer was watered down and Blood Orange Margarita was not mixed well. The only thing we liked was the clam chowder EXCEPT it took 7 shells to find one clam in the soup. This place is WAY OVERPRICED for what you're paying for. We've ate at other seafood places that serve boils in the Portland area and have bought crab multiple times ourselves. So we know when it's not fresh and when you're given less than what you're told. We usually come out of seafood restaurants full and we left here still hungry.

Erik C.

Yelp
Went with friends last night after being super exited for their opening. The whole experience let us scratching our heads. On the one hand the food was pretty good, on the other service felt like a soft opening at full price. On entering there was a family of 3 that asked to be seated. It took 3 staff and a few minutes to say no tables were available and that the could leave their info and maybe get a call after 7:30. We got their first and got seated, our friends came a few minutes later. We ordered drinks and a few minutes the waiter came back to tell us one of our drinks wasn't available. We ordered food at that time. 2/4 of us got drinks then gumbo and clam chowder came and shortly after our salad. Still waiting for our drinks our friends asked for drinks again. Shortly after our drinks came and we had to ask for silverware for our food. Friends has gumbo and chowder, chowder had whole clams in the shell which was a first to me. We ordered the $25 Bloody Mary which came with crab legs and shrimp. Back it went when no shrimp or crab legs were present. Had to ask for crab crackers and wet wipes. It was a strange dining experience and at the price point. $100+ for two of us to have one drink share a boil with shrimp and mussels and a salad. The boil was good, the $19 salad with shrimp didn't have enough shrimp for the price. Good luck, we probably won't be back for the price and service.

Y C.

Yelp
Ambiance is nice. We had the Pacific NW best. Looks very good. Like the other reviewers said, the sauce was too sweet and on the salty side. The shrimps was not the freshest. The crab cakes starter is delicious. Service is ok.

Sam E.

Yelp
The claw chowder was delicious and the service was excellent. First time here but definitely will come back, the bathroom a bit confusing but I managed lol the ambiance was good and I had the best experience in the area.

Jerry R.

Yelp
Delicious Service excelent Very clean and bright.

Andy T.

Yelp
This place is crazy expensive. I was shocked at the bill. The food is yummy. You have to dive in with the whole body and eat up but be prepared for a hefty bill. Ouch!

Paige C.

Yelp
This place is pretty new and been opened for few weeks now but their foods tastes amazing. Fresh and good. I've been to the seaside location and honestly, I think this location tastes better but still great quality of seafoods broil on this side of town. I went yesterday with my man and our kids, the kids loves it and we went twice yesterday. Just gotta be a little patient since this place is new and they are also training their staffs. Overall, it's great! Will be back often.

Riley J.

Yelp
Wasn't sure how busy it would be so made reservations online. Showed up and it appeared that may three tables were occupied. Not busy at all. Went to waiting area three minutes before reservation and was waiting for a full ten minutes without being acknowledged or helped. One worker taking orders saw me standing there and probably thought I was a delivery driver or something cause she saw me standing there and didn't say "hello" or "we'll be right with you" instead just fully ignored me and had me standing there waiting. I checked my phone and waited a full ten minutes but by minute five i wasn't sure i wanted to eat there anymore cause it was offputting. After standing at the front for a full ten minutes i just left because if thats a sign of how the service is then it's definitely not worth the price.

Jenny S.

Yelp
Stopped by today for a tasty dinner and you were closed. Why? What happened? This is unusual...

Yelp
Great experience! The boil with King Crab and Shrimp was flavorful when tossed with SEA Special Sauce. My server was attentive and checked on the table often. I'd highly suggest their calamari.
