The most amazing culinary experience I have ever had. The full 7 course menu is definitely recommended. Most of the dishes are seafood based with exotic ingredients blended to create the best combination. I would definitely visit again. The atmosphere is also quiet and modern. The service is also top class. Definitely worthy of two stars.

This restaurant is inside the Radisson hotel. The restaurants interior design is nice and minimalist. The service was good and attentive. The food was a real pleasure. If you usually don't like seafood, you will love this. Its extremely pricey but its absolutely worthwhile. The ingredients are combined with the greatest care. All courses together were a symphony of tastes and consistency. The chef is very friendly, he came to ask how we liked it. The room we've had was nice and private. The seats were comfortable and the acoustic was good. They have a bar and a cigar room. The toilets were clean. You get your coats taken and a valet is taking care of parking your vehicle. All around I recommend it and we will definitely come back to enjoy very god food.

We had the four meal menu which includes many "amuse bouche" in between. The food was very sophisticated, well presented and served by a very nice, attentive and efficient staff. We also had the pleasure to meet the chef! We had a very nice time, the only thing I have to say is that we were eating for more than four hours, which is a little too long for my taste.

Sea Grill is a Michelin 2 star restaurant. So is it good? Of course it is. The food is exquisite. The service is excellent. So then it all becomes a matter of personal taste. As the name suggests, it specializes in fish and seafood. So if you're a meat lover, this is not your place. Given the Michelin stars, you'll need a big budget to eat here. Even if you go for the lunch, expect to pay at least double of what you'd pay in an average quality restaurant. So determine for yourself if this is worth it for you. But if you do decide to go, then enjoy it to the fullest! It really are pieces of art they put in front of you!

Had a lunch at the restaurant about ten days ago while visiting Brussels. Took the lunch menu. It was a excellent value and the best meal of our entire three week Europe vacation. The food and the service were unbelievably good. Will definitely be back if having opportunity to visit Brussels again.

Google
Very interesting tasting menu. However the food is kind of overpriced compared to other Michelin two star restaurants and the service is good but too mechanical.

Extremely disappointed birthday lunch! First of all, I can’t fault the Chef and the staff. Pleasant culinary surprise factors as a Michelin 2 star restaurant ought to be! However, I encountered 2 bugs ended up in my Champagne on 2 separate occasions. The fact of how management dismissed it is my issue with the whole experience. We were very agreeable to swap for another glass on the 1st occasion, when we asked to speak with management when it happened 2nd time, he was like “I’ve changed 1st glass what else could I possibly do?” It is simply NOT acceptable for a 2-star restaurant! Also, there’s no hospitality gesture for the birthday celebration of the table I booked for. I’ve dined in many other places with stars and less pricy with much much better customer service than this. What a disappointment! YOU let your hard working kitchen staff down!

I agree with others in saying that it was an amazing culinary experience. We chose the 7 course dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. All the skill necessary to make food this way is mind numbing. Every course was like a new journey to another location. The wait staff was also exceptional. Dining was fairly quiet in a comfortable atmosphere and the few hours we spent there felt like it passed so quickly.

Yelp
One of my favorite michelin star places in Europe. Lunch set is a nice deal (very affordable) Food and ingredients are on point and service is superb. Deserve a 5-star rating

Yelp
Items ordered: Shrimp, Lemon Balm, White Cheese Codfish Espuma with Red Pepper and Onion Cod with Goose Liver Croquette, Hazelnut, Cauliflower Mousseline Carpaccio of Salmon, Oyster Cream, Kaffir Lime Red Wine, Olive, Beer, Country, Wheat, Baguette with Butter and Anchovy Butter, Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper Brittany Blue Lobster a la Press with Heart of Sweetbreads, Asparagus, Potatoes Mouselline Floating Island with Raspberries and English Cream Baba with Spices, Pineapple, Mojito Sorbet, Chantilly, Biscuit Mignardises Holding onto Two Michelin Stars for several years, perhaps a bit of a surprise considering its lobby location inside the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Sea Grill by Yves Mattagne was targeted for one reason for lunch on a Thursday, the 12h00 finding the room mostly empty though eventually a few seats in the cavernous lux dining room would fill. Perhaps a bit too "business" to qualify as fine-dining, the service staff undoubtedly one of the most professional and stiff encountered in all of Belgium, Sea Grill likely goes unnoticed by many epicurean travelers in a city where the Chef also runs one of the most desired 'rooms with a view' in the world, but for those looking for an "experience" it is the 29kg Pure Silver Lobster Press that comes calling, the creation from Christofle one of only five the world has ever seen. No doubt a pricy place, all the moreso when opting for the Brittany Blue Lobsters prepared tableside a la press, it was with brief temptation offered by the Chef's tasting that the decision was instead made to simply go all-in on an entrée plus desert selection, the total cost of the main course - for two - €190 with dessert and water bringing the total to €223. Explaining that the Lobster first needed to be cooked in the kitchen, the total meal just under two hours with front and back end loaded with leisurely paced treats, it was with one canapé plus three amuses that the afternoon got started, the espuma of Cod much like Brandade de Morue with an ethereal texture while the Goose Liver Croquette burst with deep, rich sapor. More than a little impressed by the bread selection, both the Red Wine and Olive amongst the best of the best with Anchovy Butter particularly noteworthy on the latter, it was just under an hour after seating that the polished Silver Press was wheeled tableside, the display catching eyes of everyone in the dining room as the staff presented each item individually between bouts of spinning and repositioning the crustacean's carapace, the Lobster soon plated with an enormous Sweetbread breaded and roasted before being hemisected. Monitored from afar as I dined with a smile, more Asparagus, Potatoes and Sauce brought as needed without request, there is little doubt that this rich a composition is something best shared by a pair as suggested but happy to partake in such indulgence it was with slow bites that every single drop was enjoyed, the balance of the sauce even wiped up with a piece of bread. Truly a luxurious experience, but not one yet ready to wrap, it was after a brief tour to see the rest of the restaurant that a fresh Dessert napkin was delivered, the Ille Flottante matching the Espuma for levity while the composed Baba was a unique spin on the original that makes one curious about the pastry kitchen's other creations, a thought furthered by the craftsmanship put into each of the four mignardises.

Yelp
I can only describe this place as near perfect. Service is exceptional and understated, food is divine, flavors subtle yet sophisticated, wine list extensive and all in all a phenomenal experience. I just wished we were not as rushed on the day as there was a plane to catch :-( I would come back anytime and spend my hard earned money here :-)) It's not cheap but then not many things in Brussels are :-( This place has earned its two Michelin stars and I think it deserves a third :-))

Yelp
Delicious and beautiful food! I took advantage of the reasonably priced lunch for EUR65. You choose 3 plates, but they add in several small courses in between that my lunch turned into a 7 course meal. My favorites were the sole appetizer and peach dessert. The service felt a bit stiff, but that might be because I was dining alone. Either way, worth the trip when in Brussels!

Yelp
Very good atmosphere, very sophisticated services, very creative plates. Some plates are embarrassing because of the combination of sea food and land meat, although such plates are designed carefully to express a good marriage of each taste. It is very difficult to figure out the appropriate wines matching such creative plats, but you can rely on suggested glasses of wines.

Yelp
Not bad experience. Service and ambience was great. Just... the food was not as impressed as it meant to be. Putting foie gras and truffle on top of langoustine just looks luxury but won't enhance favor or structure the taste. Nice formal dining out place for one time experience.

Yelp
A once in a lifetime meal! Ok I know that sounds a little much, however it really is THAT good. The food was incredible, the service perfect, and the ambience for a lunch meeting was great. I had the ahi with french fries and salad lunch which was the best of each food I have ever had. The tuna melt in your mouth. The potatoes cooked to absolute perfection, and the the salad dressing incredible. The also provided us numerous appetizers and then desert, all incredible. SEA Grill is one of the few restaurants in Belgium that has earned two Michelin stars and after eating here I can see why. I am a regular person who doesn't like style or substance in my food but I enjoyed every minute of my experience here. It is incredibly expensive but if you are ever in Brussels this place has to be on your bucket list of place to eat!

Yelp
My son had organised my birthday lunch for the 2 of us at this restaurant. We arrived after having had the car parked in the hotel parking, and were given the menus. We both chose the Marée du Jour menu so that we could get a taste of nigh-on everything, closed our menus and waited, and waited whilst the six waiters milled around chatting amongst themselves (there were only two other tables eating). Unfortunately, I can't say that any dish stood out as excellent: either the miso was far too salty with the eel and goose liver or the lemon-grass overpowered the delicate crab taste and I'm not too sure why they had to put crunchy hazelnuts on top of the salmon as the textures don't really mesh and visually nothing is gained. We had already got the main course when the bread - finally - arrived: a good selection but cold; yes, I would have expected it to be heated! The cod was nice but tepid and the two crisps on it were not crisp (?). The cheese selection was delicious and my desert was sweet and unremarkable (the ginger (?) was dry and tasteless, no taste of yogurt but there was a lot of white chocolate(?) which I never eat, nothing like its description entitled Creamy Yogurt Blueberry!) The service by this time had really dwindled. At one point I had asked to see the menu as my son and I were trying to figure out what another table was eating. I had opened the menu but as it was rather large I had bent the left page back a bit to show my son something on the right page when it was snatched out of my hands by the waiter who immediately pulled it back to its normal width and told me that it was better like this. I informed him that I was fine bending it slightly and he took it again, opened it up fully again and told me in no uncertain terms that one was not allowed to bend the menu otherwise it would crack!!! At that point we paid, showed that we had a parking ticket as requested and left as my son wanted to show me the rest of the Hotel (Radisson Blu). We had just arrived at the bar area when the doorman came over, slapped my son on the back and asked him if we could leave immediately as his car was blocking the entrance to the hotel - in other words the doorman had - unbeknown to us - got our car out and we were expected to leave when he told us to - well that's a first and just as we were going to have a celebratory glass of champagne at the bar. I really did not expect such bad service and I really expected much better quality food. The restaurant itself is brown to dark brown with no view and feeling very much like a 'men only' club. I have studied the other reviews and can only say that none of the dishes we had resembled in any way what other people's fotos show, especially the petits fours at the end of the meal which were placed on a pseudo tatty-looking goldish bar and the taste was again very sweet with practically no texture differentiation. We were there for two hours and only saw five tables in total occupied during that time.

Yelp
I had a work dinner here recently. Fantastic sea food, but the sommelier made a poor choice with the wine in my opinion. It's not a great place to go if you want to talk business as it's pretty loud in the open space. There was some strange acoustics, that lead to difficulties in hearing my colleagues speak. I could also hear the couple the other side of the room. Very expensive, but to be expected with a Michelin starred establishment.
