The 15 Best Seafood Restaurants In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"This seafood restaurant sits in the outdated shopping plaza above the old Howell Mill Walmart that a shopper arsoned into non-existence. But our moms were onto something when they said, “It’s what’s on the inside that counts.” Because inside, Sea Salt’s sleek baby-blue leather booths, faux marble-topped tables, and jazzy neon lights set the tone for a fun, upbeat meal of pretty good seafood. At night, salmon with a nice char comes with a side of hookah smoke and a bumping soundtrack from a DJ (there’s an elevated DJ booth just off the dining area). But we usually come during the more relaxed daylight hours to dive into their cheesy Sea Salt Dip with huge chunks of lobster and shrimp." - nina reeder, juli horsford

Sea Salt Seafood Restaurant Review - Upper Westside - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The second Sea Salt location (there’s another in Virginia Highland) brings an exciting sit-down dining option to the dated Walmart plaza in Howell Mill. The bright, booth-filled space dishes out crab cakes, snapper, and other things wrangled from the water. All-day hookah and music approaching Music Midtown decibels will be standard here. But so is consistently good food. We enjoy the salmon, which is well-seasoned and comes with a shareable side, and the Sea Salt Dip (cheesy ecstasy brimming with seafood chunks). photo credit: Cameren Rogers photo credit: Cameren Rogers photo credit: Cameren Rogers" - DeMarco Williams

Great spot! Drinks were on point, food was amazing. Loved the all-you-can-eat shrimp (fried was my fave) and the oysters were top-notch. Friendly host, attentive service, good music, and fair prices. Will definitely be back!

I’m really struggling to give this place a fair review because I like the vibe and the food wasn’t bad. We sat for the better part of 20 minutes before our waitress ever got to the table, spoke with another waitress, who was shocked that she hadn’t been out, but didn’t make any effort to make sure that our experience wasn’t hindered by the absence of our waitress. The service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress seems to be confused, overwhelmed, uninterested in doing her job more than likely because she knew that she would still be getting a 20% tip, even though there were only two of us, and she honestly deserved the bare minimum. I tried to engage what seems to be the manager as he was standing at the table beside us when he made eye contact he didn’t come anywhere near us again. I was just gonna say that maybe she needs the day off or something is clear that she’s not in the space to be waitressing, but he avoided that conversation entirely. There’s really no other way to put it. I loved the vibe of the restaurant for adults. They were actually playing the movie, baby boy on all of the screens. I noticed that there was extremely adult content being displayed while there were children in the restaurant, it was happy hour. They need to make a decision on whether they’re a family restaurant or whether it’s adult only it was wildly inappropriate. If we had had a better experience, I absolutely would have loved to host a brunch or a dinner there I just know that I come from a crew of tough critics. They would not be happy with the service. As a sidenote for my plus size girly in Atlanta, this is definitely a size friendly restaurant, even the bar seats of an extended size so that you could sit comfortably.

Food and drinks were ok. The lobster bites were FIRE!! The hookah was very strong. The vibe was great! Did not feel comfortable leaving my zip code when I paid with my card but apparently they said it’s protocol.

Love the live DJ, loved them being able to accommodate 14 people without a reservation! The service was great for a large party! We had fun because we bring the party anywhere. Food: crab legs good, salmon bites amazing!!! Did not like Mac and cheese that was bad sent it back, my lychee lemon drop yummy, my husband didn’t like the all you can eat shrimp needed more flavor. The red snapper needed more seasoning, everything else was great!

Went on a Monday night to celebrate a birthday. Made it just before happy hour ended. The happy hour margaritas were good and strong but the lemon drop tasted like juice. Most ppl in my party ordered the all you can eat crab legs. On the first round you get 2 crab legs, one potato, and a half a corn. I wasn’t a huge fan of the garlic butter sauce so the next few rounds, I just got plain steamed. The wait time between each round of crab legs they brought out was too long, being that after the first round you then only get one crab leg at a time, no corn no potato. Our waitress was nice but not attentive enough for a party of 8. I ordered an appetizer, all you can eat crab legs and two happy hour margaritas. My total came to $100. This included the gratuity which is automatically added to your bill. I didn’t have a bad experience, however I wasn’t impressed enough to go back. The price of the food doesn’t match taste or amount of food you get.

All was pretty great, food, hostess, music, lighting. It was probably a little too loud and dark though. We could barely hear each other or see. It's a good intimate date spot in that effect. Food was all good, no complaints on any dish. Drinks are too pricey, $5 bottles of water not Evian or Fiji even Voss is crazy. I'd like to try sitting outside next time which is was offered but turned down by the birthday girl. I'd try the brunch next time though. Our server Breia was decent but messed up our check split. When I mentioned it she took a minute to say she messed up. If splitting a check is hard get a manager to help. Parking is definitely tight but we made it work. P.S. Auto 20% gratuity is also crazy

UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE!!!!! Listed below ⬇️ BEWARE!!!!!!………..PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPT!!! FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY!! I went there to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and the waitress fraudulently put an extra tip that I did not authorize, even though a 20% gratuity was already included in the bill. She also asked to put my Drivers License with my credit card payment. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that and she then asked for my date of birth! She gave me a receipt to sign but did not give me a copy until I asked for it. She came back with a receipt that was folded. When I left and received a text from my bank, I opened the copy of the receipt, only to notice the waitress tore the bottom of the receipt that list the tip amount! I would not recommend this place!!! They STEAL!! WATCH YOUR MONEY (CREDIT CARD! UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE I see the manager made this statement and reply to my review before he even spoke with me to rectify the situation! He said he was just reading the review and wonder who left it. I just spoke with the Manager, Derrick who tried to state because I ordered the salmon later it was not included on my bill, which you can clearly see it was included! He tried to downplay everything and talk in circles! NUMBERS DON’T LIE! He said he would have to talk to the waitress to go find out why the extra tip was included but obviously he had already spoken to because how would he know I was the last person to order the Salmon. The extra tip is not listed on the tore off receipt because I can’t view the bottom but the gratuity is clearly already listed on the bill! DERRICK is more worried about his and Sea Salt’s reputation than the customer but if he cared about the customer he wouldn’t have to worry about his reputation!!!!! AGAIN, watch your receipts!!!!

Google
Beautiful restaurant! Love the atmosphere when I visit, and it is a very big place. I ordered some crab clusters on my first visit ($30 for two clusters) and they had a few flavor options, but honestly, it was super oily, and there was not much flavor at all. Thankfully, I brought some extra hot sauce in my bag to spruce it up, but would like to get a bit more seasoning. the prices are on the high side, so if you are looking for something moderate maybe go there during a happy hour.

Yelp
I had the chance to visit Sea Salt and try items off the happy hour and lunch menus. Everything was delicious! I really loved the lamp chops (ask for extra glaze), the wings, and the lobster mac and cheese. Z - who is one of the team leaders took exceptional care of us. He was so kind and personable. He definitely made me want to return again. The ambiance is fun! Folks are here for the great happy hour deals. Wednesday night also has an oyster special as well and would definitely return to try the oysters! Overall such a great experience! Easy, free parking (it's in the shopping plaza next to La Parrilla).

Yelp
This is my go to restaurant at this point. I visited on a Monday to try the All You Can Eat crab legs and it didn't disappoint. This review really about the AYCE, but it does include other things. The AYCE is from 5-close on Monday for $45; you choose from 3 flavors & I'll review below. Not able to make reservations on Mondays so we did wait almost an hour to an hour & half for 6. The first batch you get includes 2 clusters, corn, and potato and then a refill of one cluster only. The wait wasn't bad, normal timing. The dj was good & I definitely will be back to try happy hour. Crab legs Lemon garlic butter 9/10 Cajun butter 9/10 Sweet Thai 4/10 | too watery or something.. just wasn't good Brussel sprouts 10/10 | literally the best ever Mussels 10/10 | idk what they do to that sauce, but it is THE BEST..especially that bread Sweet Thai Chili Wings 10/10 | perfect amount of heat, cooked perfectly Steak Dinner 10/10 | NEVER disappoints always perfect Sea Salt Catfish 12/10 | just get it; it is so good

Yelp
One of my best friends had a birthday party here and I have been wanting to try this spot. We had a large part of 15 and it worked out perfectly as we were sectioned off in the back! Our server was super sweet (hey Bailey!) and did a great job remembering everything. All the food was pretty good except my rice had no flavor in the catfish dish but the drinks?? Amazing! The owner stopped by a few times to check on us and make sure all was good. Pricing and gratuity was pretty well matched for the area and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will definitely come back another time as well!

Yelp
I've been here a couple times. Came for brunch. Made a reservation. We had a sweet waitress. She was very polite and diligent. We didn't have to ask for too much. She was on top of everything. We ordered hookah which was fine. The food was okay. Nothing to rave about. My bacon was burnt. No other way to put it. I tried to see if it was my eyes deceiving me but my teeth said otherwise. I sent it back. Much better second round. I just wish the cooks would just make it over instead of plating it. Ya know it's burnt. Chef Ramsey would've thrown that plate. Lol. The vibe was great. Always good music. An array of people in the spot. We didn't get charged a gratuity fee as it was 2 of us. But I think they do for a certain amount of people. We left her a tip directly to her cash app. I will definitely be back and will try something else next time.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday in my city Atlanta last month & I actually had quite a time! I wanted to do something very chill but still get some hookah & drinks so I decided to go to sea salt Very laid back vibes here and they play mostly R&B! I went on a Tuesday and more people start coming in at 10! I had the "Sea Salt Catfish" and it was a 9/10 for me! The shrimp was also good. We had to send the Rasta pasta back unfortunately because it did not have enough spice! They even brought me out a cake and sparklers for my birthday Besides that, cool vibe for a nice chill night. Check them out!

Yelp
Dropped into Sea Salt this weekend to get some food and catch a vibe. It did not disappoint. I sat at the bar and the ladies behind the bar were great. They were quick, attentive and engaging. I order the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection and the rice and broccoli were great. On top of great food the drinks were perfect and brought to me quickly. The vibe was vibing lol. The DJ was playing good music. The crowd was good. It was an overall great night out. Shout out to Sea Salt for another great experience!

Yelp
This is my second time going and I had an awesome time. Music was a vibe, service was great and the food was banging! I had hookah love 66 and peach and it tasted amazing ! Would definitely go back ! They have bring all day and new menu items as well. Happy hour too!

Yelp
A group of us had brunch at Sea Salt on Sunday! It was an amazing experience. Tania was our waitress. She did an awesome job managing a group of 13! The food was unexpectedly delicious! For it to be such a large group, the food was delivered quick and to taste! I believe all 13 were extremely pleased. Music and vibes was a hit! Definitely will be returning! The only con was that the air didn't seem to work! Hopefully the establishment is working on that! It got a little toasty given that it was such a hot day!

Yelp
The ambiance was cool, live disc jockey was nice and I liked the layout of the facility. Parking was decent, nothing extraordinary but manageable. Now, let's talk about the food. Well, it looked appetizing, but the taste was a different story. Everything was drowning in salt, even the water. No cap. I had a lobster and eggs - it was a bit too much for my taste buds, to say the least. Moving on to the service, it was just okay. My waiter seemed to be having an off day, which can happen to anyone. Totally mixed up checks and orders. Despite the salty setback, I might give the spot another chance, but with some Na caution next time.

Yelp
Ambiance The vibe of Sea Salt was amazing. The live DJ served up a great mix of R&B and hip hop. The music was too loud at points but eventually calmed down. The colors and decorations remind me of an upscale sea side bar (only much nicer!). The aqua and orange color scheme works wonderfully with lots of nautical details throughout the restaurant. Food I came on Monday for the unlimited crab legs. I comfortably ate 5 clusters, which was worth the $45 price point (in my opinion). There are 3 flavor options - I stuck with Cajun and lemon butter. The lemon drops were phenomenal. The lemon was more sour than others I've had (sooo good!). The watermelon was my favorite though. I highly recommend the flight, which includes strawberry, watermelon, and lemon. Service The service was cool. I arrived on Monday night without a reservation and only had a 35 minute wait. The waitress was sweet and offered realistic wait expectations due to the kitchen being backed up. However, after the initial wait, I never found myself without a tray of crab legs in front of me. I never had to go searching for my waitress either. Shoutout to Iyana! Sadly, due to the Monday crab rush, the restaurant was out of crab leg crackers. There were no mini forks to help you get the meat out of the shell. Also, note that the first tray of crab legs will have 2 clusters but all subsequent ones will only have one. This spot is definitely worth checking out! A lot of people were dressed to impress and the night was super fun!

Yelp
I was in town for a concert so I and some of my girlfriends decided to check out Sea Salt. Luckily we had a reservation because the place was packed. The Dj was great. He definitely set the vibes with playing 90's music. I'm just glad it wasn't straight rap lol. Nothing wrong with playing some good ole R&B. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. It also had plenty of TVs so you could easily catch a game or two there. Also saw a lot of people that had hookahs, so if you don't mind the smoke smell, then check out Sea Salt. Lastly, our food was very delicious. Tasted very fresh and homemade. All in the all, I thoroughly enjoyed SS and definitely will be back to visit.

Yelp
Great ambience, music was playing with a variety of tones, the tvs was on showing the March madness games.. Everything was good.. Plenty of parking, the host was super friendly and got me and my party seated asap..Food came out pretty fast which was good.. Fried pickles and salmon sliders were good.. I didn't want to get anything too heavy but something to nimble on while I watch the game and catch up with my homies was in town. I just wish my server was more pleasant and friendly, but I will still come back and visit here.. Good establishment..

Yelp
I visited this restaurant for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great food, good drink menu, nice people and friendly service. They have an onsite DJ playing a wide range of music choices, they offer Hookah and they have a variety of menu specials depending on the day you go. I went on a Wednesday which is all you can eat Oyster night, starting at 5pm and they were YUMMY! Definitely worth adding to any foodie list.

Yelp
Baaaby, buckle up because I'm about to tell it all! I'm so disappointed in this restaurant! Who comes to a restaurant hungry and LEAVES hungry? Oh me!! I did! That's what's happened visiting in this Wednesday evening. Let's get into it! First they advertised All-you-can-eat chargrilled oysters! Cool I thought that's dope I don't have to fly to MSY to get my fill on chargrilled oysters! Nah, this ain't it! They dropped the ball! The wait times was craaaaazy!!!! Two hours here and I only had 6 oysters delivered to my table (pictured) I also ordered an appetizer (calamari not pictured) and side lobster Mac n cheese. I received the Mac and the 1 and only round of oysters. The calamari came right before I was about to leave. I was not pleased on how they handled the special. Seems very disorganized. I'm giving it two stars because there is a lot to improve on. The staff: alternatively the staff was very friendly and doing the best the can. I was able to speak to the general manager about the issue and he apologized and offered to comp our drinks. Also at the end the manager took the charge of the unlimited oysters off ($45) I'm not sure if I'd give them another chance. This place came recommended. However it left hungry and very disappointed. To did sit out in the patio and it was a great night as it wasn't too hot or cool but just right. Most of the ppl had hookahs! One patron next to me decided to light up a blunt which I didn't care for! The calamari was trash. It was no seasoning at all. The prices are just as much as you can expect from A seafood restaurant in Atlanta! The surf n turf (not pictured) was ordered by another party with me and was told the food temperature was lukewarm. The spot is right above where the old Walmart was on Howell rd. Took a minute for me to find it. Parking was easy since it was during the week and most stores around were closing. Overall they are getting two stars because there were a number of issues. One of the biggest was not delivering on their special!

Kay T.

Yelp
A few friends and I came here for the "All you can eat Oysters" and we made reservations. False advertisement for the "All you can eat", we were giving a 120min time limit and they only send out 6 oysters at a time. The oysters would come out and our server would dissappear and trying to get her back to the table was a struggle because she only had 2 other tables. I also believe that maybe she wasn't around as often to prolong the wait of the oysters coming out. We would have to wait a sustainable amount of time for another set to come out. Before I come back here again I would just go to a Chinese buffet where that's all you can eat. I also ordered "lobster mac & cheese" very small portion and a piece of lobster claw was placed in the certain of the mac & cheese for $18. Not to mention there's an 18% gratuity. The server was polite and knowledgeable but I honestly don't think waiting tables is her strong suit. Lastly, I came hungry and left hungry and went to another spot for food on my way home.

Yelp
I went for all you can eat oysters.. it was a joke.. we got 10 oysters in 2 hours! They were not prepared.. probably wouldn't go back

Yelp
Saw a TikTok and I had to try it. We got there at 6pm. There was no table available but the bar was first come first serve. The Monday crab legs special is $45 per person. First plate has potatoes and corn but after that you can't ask for anymore. Honestly not a bad deal but the sauce were really salty. Lemon drop was $10. No complaint there. They have music great, not too loud. Cute decor. Gratuity is included. Our bartender is ok. The initial girl came over and I asked for a recommendation, I asked for recommendation and she just left for someone else to come take care of us. Overall I wouldn't come back for the crab legs. Maybe try their other food because it looks good on other people reviews. Oh and they have hookah.

Yelp
Was there last night for a celebration and arrived about 10:00 PM. Our group was already there. My sister asked for a menu and the waitress grabbed one for us to share. First red flag considering the place was basically empty. Outside of our group, there were less than a dozen people there. I actually take back that being the first red flag. I wouldn't have even gone in if our group wasn't there. As we were approaching from our car, we paused because we heard a man and a woman arguing. We went ahead when we realized it was there security guard doing the fussing. Back to the ridiculous service. We ordered two fish and chips, one for there and one to go. The waitress brought out two small plates that each had a tartar sauce and ketchup on them. When our food came out, both entrees were in the bag to go. Next red flag. We asked her for some plates and silverware. She disappeared so we used the condiment plates and had someone hand us some silverware off another table. There was another man in our group who ordered an Arnold Palmer and I finally had to remind the waitress after about twenty minutes that he was still waiting for it. It was a disaster but our group dropped a lot of money, ordering the $48 lobster and mac and cheese, more lobster, salmon and even did a bottle service with Patron. Of course, an automatic 20% gratuity was added, even though my sister and I were a party of two. What service? You can have really good food but the bad service will make people not want to return. I already knew that they had good food because I hired them to cater the food for a film I made a couple of years ago. One of my crew picked it up daily. As for going back there to dine in, I don't see that happening.

Yelp
Definitely a gem in the Atlanta area! I've heard a few good things about Sea Salt so I decided to stop in during my short trip to Atlanta. They have a few locations. The Howell Mill location is 21 and up and the largest that they have in the Atlanta Metro Area. I stopped in on a Friday night, had less than a 10 minute wait time and was greeted and seated quickly. I ordered the snapper filler with fries and plantains. By far one of the fried snapper meals I've had. It was seasoned perfectly and not over fried. The fried were also seasoned. The ambiance of the restaurant is a complete vibe! Areas to take pictures, they play music and sports/TV while you're there. They offer a full service bar, and have a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. They also offer hookah at the tables for an additional fee. They have an outside seating area but because it was cold, it was closed for evening. If you're looking for good seafood and nice vibes, please check out Sea Salt! I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
The menu is more on the higher end, and the quality of the food didn't represent the prices. Everything was pretty good and the drinks were great. The service was great. They accommodated all of our needs and the ambience was good and they had a live DJ, but the DJ was geared towards more of a younger crowd.

Yelp
Saw this restaurant on TikTok and brought a friend to try it out with me on Cinco de Mayo. We hand a reservation, so getting seated was no problem at all. Parking on the other hand; my God!!!! The parking at this shopping center was horrendous on this day. It was an absolute nightmare. I ended up having to park closer to the entrance of the shopping center near another business and walking to the restaurant. It was okay at first, but my pinky toe started screaming in my heels the closer I got to the door of the restaurant. We were overjoyed to be sitting once we got in; needless to say. My friend was already inside and had already gotten a hookah. I've never tried hookah so I wasn't going to embarrass myself this night. Our server was so cool and friendly. She had recommendations and checked on us frequently. The food was good. My friend got the shrimp and grits and I got the chicken wings and lobster Mac n cheese. We both enjoyed our food. The prices were comparable too. There is a full bar inside, television screens, and a DJ area. From what I could tell they have outside seating also; it just wasn't open when we went. I appreciated being able to still talk and hear even though the DJ was actively playing music. The space is cute and spacious. It was busy though and full of people. The lobster Mac n cheese came with a lobster tail and broccolini along with the lobster Mac n cheese. It tasted amazing. The wings and shrimp and grits were good too. No to go plates were needed.

Yelp
Table for 2 for Dinner I made a reservation on their website, via OpenTable. My problem was that I didn't know there were two locations. I "assumed" the place I made the reservation was the location that I was already familiar with and conveniently located close to the concert venue we were scheduled to go to at 7 pm. I drove to the Glenwood location, paid for parking via an online app, and approached the door. That is when I saw the sign that this location was temporarily closed. This is when I realized that my reservation was actually for the other Howell Mill location. When I made the reservation, there was a note that advised that you get a 15-minute grace period and to call if you think you would be late. I attempted to call, but it went directly to voicemail and the mailbox was full. So we rushed over to the second location and fought traffic. Approaching the restaurant, I noticed a sizable shared parking lot. The lot was pretty full, but I was able to find a spot quickly and not too far from the entrance. Parking at this location was free. We entered, and I advised I had a reservation. I knew I was about 20 - 25 minutes late following our previous adventure. I saw some faces exchanged between the two staff members at the podium. They brushed it off and quickly led us to our table. The place had a nice-sized interior dining room. It appeared they also had some outside seating on the other side of some faux hedges. The design was very bright and vibrant, and everything looked very clean. There was a DJ playing today's R&B and hip-hop hits. It was at a nice volume level and good to keep energy in the room going. We already had our menus and reviewed our options. This place caters more to specialty drinks than beers. The options were pretty generic with no local brewery options. The food choices, on the other hand, were pretty extensive. We perused the menu and had our choice locked down by the time our server came by. We were in a rush, so we ordered our drinks and entrée at the same time. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits with a Modelo. Wifey ordered the Lobster Rolls with a side of fries and a Heineken. Our beers came out quickly, and before we knew it, the food was right behind. The food came out super fast. Wifey let me know her Lobster Rolls were excellent. My Shrimp and Grits were a nice portion and seasoned nicely. The shrimp tasted like they were poached, which made them a little rubbery. I would have preferred grilled for some texture. Overall, the food and ambiance impressed, with lightning-fast service allowing us ample time to make our 7 pm show.

Taylor S.

Yelp
Tania was amazing! Her service from the time we walked in to the time we left was awesome. Food was delicious!

Yelp
I am being nice by giving a star. I ordered ,well I guess I ordered an unacceptable lobster roll with soggy buttery hotdog bun and no meat, because that is was I got .I drove 1 hour to get to this restaurant . I should have went to Duluth to steami's Lobster where they know how to make lobster rolls . because what I just encountered was nothing but disgusting.Shame on the cook who let that plate even reach a customer. If I was the owner , I would have fired him or her for not even trying to make the food look appetizing and tasteful .This Sea Salt Restaurant Is definitely a one and done for me , first time last time not impressed.. Do not order Lobster roll! Let me just say this is the one on Howell Mill Rd Atlanta Ga

Yelp
I found out about Sea Salt on instagram and wanted to give it a go...Walked in with no reservation at 8pm and was seated right away. Restaurant is very spacious and clean with very pleasing aesthetic decor. They did have a DJ playing vinyl chilled R&B music, so if you are looking for a quiet place to have a meal this isn't the place. Sever was fast, efficient and friendly with her service. We ordered drinks,One app and one dinner entrée. Drinks: whiskey, mule, and Prosecco Appetizer: Sea Salt Wing ( Hot w/Lemon Pepper Sprinkles) -Wings were fresh and tasty but smaller then normal size. Dinner entrée: Sea Salt Catfish -Catfish was fresh and crispy, shrimp with topped it off really well, I did end up the white rice with fried rice as a substitute, which was a great decision. Restaurant offers daily happy hour specials which is pretty good. There's plenty parking as the restaurant is located in a large shopping center area and they have security for safety.

Yelp
Food was crazy good.... service was Meh. The decor and music were good as well. We had a reservation for over 20 people for 7pm. We were seated at 7:15pm. The hostesses in the front were not that friendly to begin with. Once seated, we noticed that our section had two servers. The two servers took drinks orders and brought them out. Half of our table was not served. I had to ask one of the servers were we going to be served. She stated the other server was in charge of our table. That server only took the order of 4 people at our table. I asked again, and that server said she would take care of us since the other server ignored us. She took our order and was very nice. We ordered the wings and fried pickles for an appetizer... amazing. I had the cajun pasta with salmon, also amazing. The salmon was a great side and I ended up taking half the pasta home. Now the drinks were really good. I had a lemon drop. However, the price was outrageous. They charge you for the liquor (top self) and then the actual drink separately. It was almost $20 for that drink. I would return for the food, but would get my drinks elsewhere.

Yelp
I came to the restaurant on a Monday and the service was terrible. The food was slow to be delivered to our table and special items that are advertised were not stocked.

Yelp
A friend of mine and I went to get food at this restaurant. When we arrived we parked in the plaza lot. We walked in and were greeted. The place was super cute and the music was good. We were served by Charissa, and she was nice. I ordered the strawberry henny margarita and it was just too sweet and sour so I switched to the pinot nior which was ok. For food, I got the shrimp and grits, and it was good. My friend got the lobster rolls, which he didn't care for. All in all, we had an ok experience.

Yelp
Not gonna lie, I came in after not being able to get into a different restaurant for dinner so I was already a little irritated. I came in on a slow night, a Thursday, which was fine because I was looking for good food is all. Literally there were only 6 people when my husband and I came in, it picked up a bit by the time we left. I feel like places like this have a bad rep just because so I wasn't too sure what I was going to be getting into. Again, I just wanted good food. I ordered the honey garlic chicken pasta with fried chicken and it is amazing! Speaking in present tense because I'm eating my left over while typing this. My husband ordered the salmon jerk pasta and we both were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

Yelp
My homie proposed to his girl here and Sea Salt helped make it a cool experience. Pretty dope! It's always about the vibe for me and Sea Salt came through with the come through for sure. Y'all give them a chance if you're in the area. No complaints from my end. You're welcome.

Yelp
I came to Sea Salt for the Dining in the Crates event. I made a reservation on Open Table prior to arriving. We got there around 6:30p and there were a good amount of tables available. The restaurant started getting packed closer to 8p. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. Our waitress was very good at the start, but kind of started slacking a little when it got busier. At the time we were there was happy hour 6-8p, they had $10 margaritas and lemon drops. We went with the Sea Salt Margarita. The drink was good. For appetizers we ordered the fried lobster bites and the Sea Salt dip. Those appetizers were delicious! For entrees we got the lobster rolls w/ fried okra and the catfish w/ broccolini. The food came out so quickly, we weren't even close done with the appetizers when the entrees arrives. I will definitely be back to Sea Salt because the food and the vibes were on point!

Yelp
The food was so delicious! I went at 8:30pm on a Friday night and it was packed! We ate outside which was so nice. There was music, plenty of tables and seating however it was so hot that it was hard to stay for long. If there was some fans it would've been more comfortable however this did not take away from the food or overall experience. This is ATL after-all. The lamb lollipops were so tender and had great flavor. The catfish was really good as well! Hot & crispy smothered in a cajun creole style creamy sauce with chicken sausage and shrimp. I recommend making a reservation so you can pick where you want to sit.

Yelp
Pretty cute spot with lots of parking available in a great location. Let's get into the pricing. $25 for lobster bites is a bit steep but they are delicious. Another mention, the seafood boil (with 1 snow crab cluster) is $50. Again, pretty darn steep. While I love Atlanta and our infamous spots with neon signs and grass walls... that's exactly what the pricing was giving so it was very on brand. I loved the Oceans Deep drink so much that I ordered 2 of them. Definitely give it a try. I ordered the shrimp basket but forgot to take a photo. Delicious! Had brussel sprouts as a side and they were definitely a 10/10. No complaints about the shrimp because they were actually pretty large and well seasoned. Super cute photo opportunity when you walk in to the far right. Def snap a picture on the swing before you go. Can definitely say I'll visit again.

Yelp
Poor service. Sat at bar and was ignored by bar tenders walking back and forth past me without even acknowledging, at the very least say hello and I'll be with you in a min, they just ignore you, and it's not even busy. Finally a bar back who looked at me a few times clearly noticing that I was being ignored placed a menu in front of me and asked one of the servers to attend to me. Then the server acted like it was as a chore to serve me. I hate places like this. I don't know why these people work in the service industry.

Yelp
I first heard of this restaurant on IG, it seemed popular which made it surprising to see such an average Yelp rating. They have two locations, one on Howell Mill very close to the 75 fwy, and a second in Virginia Highlands. Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially if you're dining at peak times. This is in a shopping plaza, next to La Parilla so there is plenty of parking. On Saturday from 12 to 4pm the restaurant only serves from their brunch menu at the Howell Mill location. Most of the employees I interacted with were very friendly, from the hostels, waitress, to our bartender, they really made our party feel welcome.   Although we were disappointed, we couldn't' order from the main menu, we understood and moved on and ordered from the brunch menu. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, every plate was cleaned. The grits are some of the best that I've had in the city, perfect texture, and so flavorful. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection, I had snapper and grits. The lobster mac n cheese was so cheesy, and noodles were perfectly cooked, I was expecting more lobster. I thought the prices were comparable to other seafood restaurants in the area. You honestly get what you pay for, and this food is appropriately priced in my opinion, this is not a fast-food restaurant.   The cocktails were BOMB!!! I asked the bartender for the most popular drinks and appreciated his honesty.   I don't understand the low ratings, maybe we came on a good day, overall, I really enjoyed my meal and the service and plan on returning for lunch.

Yelp
FYI: Book a reservation, even with a reservation you will wait, but at least your table is confirmed. Service isn't terrible but could be better. The hostess wasn't efficient at managing the reservations, the waitress often forgot the things we asked for when she came to check on us. It really didn't impact my experience but for others this could be a big turnoff. Atmosphere is small but packed with not only people but lively music that felt nice to be in. You may have to yell when you speak to anyone but what would you expect at a popular Atlanta weekend spot. Food absolutely delicious, there is a lot of variety and choice of sides. I know everyone says get the Lobster Bites but let me tell you GET THE LOBSTER BITES, you will not be disappointed. I would not recommend for children on the weekend but definitely a nice place to go to for a birthday or fun date (not first date, it's very loud). If you haven't tried Sea Salt yet add it to your list.

Yelp
Brought my family here to celebrate my daughters birthday. Everything on the menu is amazing. My waitress was amazing and on top of everything. The atmosphere was fun and the music was great. If ever in Atlanta this is a must try place.

Chris H.

Yelp
Had high hopes. Came here with a team from work to celebrate a few birthdays. Party of about 6. Service was painfully slow. We had to run down our server, who was definitely very friendly and polite, but not very attentive. I had been told they have great lobster rolls, so that's what I got, and that's the photo I attached. The recipe / menu description says the lobster is "poached in butter" but the lobster meat was very dry. I asked for a side of drawn butter, which they brought out, but I don't think it was homemade drawn butter. Could be wrong. I guess because there were 6+ in our party, they added gratuity to the check at 20%, which was high considering the service wasn't great. The plate of food in my photo, with water to drink was $40.88. Others in my party were underwhelmed with their meals also. I asked "How were the fish and chips?" and "Meh..." was the answer. Maybe they're still working out the kinks, but I don't expect to be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Sea salt decor is really cute definitely insta-worthy. But I must admit it's the typical interior of an Atlanta brunch spot. The interior designer truly knew how to pull it together in this space. I love the flower wall mixed with wood elements. The turquoise blue leather chair backings with the marble table tops. The acrylic chairs with the gold finishes at the bar. As you can see I LIVEEE for interior design. And this location hit the mark. But.... one thing, if you know me you know I'm huge on service. And the service here is slack. I'm not sure if it's because they know for sure that 20% gratuity is already include (and on ALL checks regardless of party size.) but yeah NOOOO! I should never have to wait 40 minutes on food in a restaurant with a handful of people present. Our waitress wasn't rude but she was pleasant either. We had to ask for refills on our water which I don't understand. Though the service sucks. Baby those grits WHOOOOO! They are mouthwatering. They were creamy and seasoned. The fish is fried to perfection. Fried hard like I like it. Seasoned to a T. I had a margarita but it pretty much tasted like liquor with coloring. Hard pass. Though the food was good I probably won't double back. The parking here is in a shared lot, which is a little difficult to get into. I can see parking getting tricky. My best advice is get in where you for in.

Yelp
The wings were perfect but the mac came out runny and cold. Service wasn't that good at the bar. We had a bunch of mixups with the check. I'd come back though. Loved the vibe and the hookah was good but definitely overpriced.

Yelp
Ry made my hookah amazing very smooth ! She had me laughing the whole time and had amazing service ! Definitely coming again and asking for her !

Yelp
When I say that food was delicious... ‍ *chef's kiss*. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't for the food to be that good. Everything my friend and I ordered was flavorful and the happy hour menu options and prices did not disappoint. Between the two of us we ordered the lemon drop, shrimp toast, calamari and wings from the happy hour menu. The shrimp toast alone had me already planning when I would come back before we left lol. We also ordered the salmon, Mac n cheese, broccolini, grits and French toast. The ONLY grievance we had was the broccolini could've had a tiny bit more flavor and the French toast was too soggy for my liking. The lemon drop was what made me order the French toast. That drink was sneakily strong and I needed something to soak it up. It had me feeling too good lol. Outside of the broccolini and French toast, I still give them a 10/10. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated, cute aesthetics, nice music playing and service was on point. They even have a cute outdoor seating area. We went on a Wednesday at noon and it wasn't packed surprisingly. There's ample parking right where the restaurant is located and it sits on top of a parking deck, if you happen to go when it's busy. The website says it's only 21+, but I was advised that restriction is no longer in place and it's family friendly. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Yelp
Food was great I was pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed the calamari and the fried chicken breast. My friend and I ate at the bar and the service was great. I had a spicy drink which was really tasty and then I had a second drink I don't remember the name but I didn't enjoy it it tasted way too syrupy. They were a bit on the pricey side though the gratuity was already included.

Yelp
Please understand I am giving it a 5 because my overall experience trumps all the small inconveniences. Venue: It's a nice location with many opportunities for photos. Only drawback is it gets really dim when the sun goes down. Definitely can be a date night. Food: Lobster bites were cooked really good but the fry batter was salty and the remoulade sauce was zesty. The red snapper was bland. I wish they would of used that same batter for the snapper:(. The crab boil was good. I love sweet corn and soft potatoes. I did not like the sausage. Now the shrimp bread. I loved it! I am definitely going back for that and to see if they make the pasta with that same sauce. Drinks: it was definitely watered down . I didn't even try to buy a second one Parking: tons of parking Customer service: ummm no real complaints but nothing spectacular either Pricing : woohoo this 20% gratuity then tax is killing me. No reflection to just this one business because I have been experiencing it with most of the places I tried. It really just makes it hard for me to come back as much as I'd like Overall: Definitely a great experience. A good time and great food

Yelp

I was livid only for them to offer to bring me new oysters with cheese for the oysters to be undercooked basically raw under the melted cheese disgusting af !! High tab and I'm highly upset

Yelp
This place is so cute and the service was excellent. Very pricey so come prepared. I just spotted by for a drink an appetizer. Enjoyed my drink but my appetizer was entirely too salty. I'm open to going back though. They have live music, which I love.

Yelp
I chose this establishment because I wanted to support the culture! Not again...Literally bad service and not worth the gratuity! We sat for 20 minutes before the server came to our table. She didn't introduce herself. The food was okay.

Yelp
The decor is cute. They had a DJ for a Saturday brunch. Hookah available. They close the kitchen from 3:45-5 from brunch to dinner. I was not aware with my 3pm reservation. For my party of 10, they was only able to split the check EVENLY three ways which was kind of frustrating. I ordered a lobster tail, which was DELICIOUS! My grits and potatoes was okay. One of my guest ordered the lamb chops and she stated "a little too Smokey/ kind of burnt tasting"A lot of my guest ate fish and grits and they enjoyed it.

Yelp
This was my first time trying this location and it was good! The only reason why I didn't give it four stars because the eggs tasted bake and they wasn't cheesy and fresh. The ambiance was nice and not hectic. There is street parking. The bartender was very nice and made really good drinks.

Yelp
Just went here for lunch after my husband's doctor's appointment on a Tuesday. The food was decent but our overall experience was just OK. First, there was a weird smell when you walked into the restaurant (almost kinda mildewy but not 100% sure) which didn't sit too well with me. I immediately looked on the wall to see if there was a health inspection score but I never saw one. The interior is spacious so I can only imagine how packed this place is when it's busy. Aesthetically, everything definitely fits the "seafood" vibe so that was a plus. We were seated quickly and our server was nice. I ordered the Sea Salt Po'Boy w/ Fries. My husband got the Catfish basket. Our food arrived within 15 minutes which was totally reasonable. I was taken aback by the appearance of my "po'boy", as it was shrimp nestled in what appeared to be hot dog rolls (3 shrimp in each roll), not the Amoroso roll that was advertised. I'm from Philadelphia so I'm very familiar with Amoroso rolls (typically used for cheesesteaks and hoagies). THIS DEFINITELY WASN'T IT. At best, I'd compare these rolls to what you would see for a lobster roll. However, the dish was GOOD so no complaints, despite not having the Amoroso roll (or even traditional french bread, which a po'boy is usually served on). My husband said his food was good but a bit on the salty side. Upon receiving the check, we noticed that we were charged 20% gratuity, even though the menu says 20% gratuity is only charged for checks over $100 (turn off!). Our bill was about $30 not incl. tax so that's clearly a contradiction. We always tip well (unless the service absolutely sucks) but I don't care to be automatically charged for gratuity, especially for a party of 2. I could understand if it was a large group. Overall, our experience was OK but we probably won't be back.
