"Billed as a seafood lounge, this recently opened restaurant replaces Tiki Iniki on Greenwood Avenue in Virginia-Highland. The menu features dishes like lobster bites with Caribbean aioli, a shrimp basket, crab and shrimp seafood boils, and an eight-ounce lobster tail with lobster mac and cheese and broccolini. Additionally, the restaurant offers crab cakes, lamb lollipops, a burger, and brunch on the weekends, along with cocktails and hookah. Check out the menu here. Open daily at 5 p.m. Masks highly encouraged." - Beth McKibben

The food and the vibe was A1 everything was awesome from the hostess, waitress and manager. The food was fast great and beautifully presented I felt like dancing after each bite. The stuffed salmon was absolute heaven cooked perfect still juice and seasoned. The lamb chops was like biting into little clouds of heaven the seasalt dip baby when I tell you it was all that even the fried pickles was was made more delicious with the awesome sauce it was served with. The drinks were great as well. I must go back for the egg rolls and Rasta pasta real soon. The brunch menu looks good as well, you must try this awesome spot with great off street parking reasonable price for everything.

Came here for the first time after seeing so much hype about it via social media. Needless to say the place was beautiful, but the service is lacking. Our waitress was nice but never introduced herself and seemed to be a nonchalant attitude whenever we had questions. No smiles, simple yes and no response and overall felt like she just didn’t care too much. The drinks were way to expensive. I got a margarita which cost $17 that came in a small cup and tasted like juice and a $45 hookah that was not great tasting at all. Onto the food. After seeing the horrendous high prices, we decided just to go with the $10 oysters. They were so salty!!! The only bearable way to eat them was with lots of lemon and hot sauce. Lastly we came on a night they advertised karaoke. There was no karaoke going on at all but the dj was great. Would I go back? No. But the decor was nice and parking was free.

Everything and I mean everything that I Tasty lives up who is name of SALTY except for the fried green tomatoes. The DJ was great but the music was extremely loud for the small area. It made it very uncomfortable and not enjoyable to have a conversation with people of my party at the table. Then there was the 90 minute sitting room, regardless of how fast or slow the service is. Not to mention all the drinks, alcohol and non-alcoholic were weak down to my coke. In my opinion, the food was very overprice for the selection. For a party of five as he came up to $389 that also includes the mandatory 20% gratuity that is added to our checks. A tiny parking area shared between 3 restaurants, but paid parking lot on the Main Street. Just over all we didn’t enjoy it

Google
Good ratings on line. Not what it is portrayed. Walk in at 7. Rather quiet. Asked if we had reservations. No issue, seat available. Surprised hostess gave us menus and pointed to a porch room to seat ourselves. Others she lead to tables. Unprofessional. Greated quickly by our waitress. She made some good food and drink recommendations. Food and service were excellent. Odd thing is that this is a hookah lounge. Nothing was noted on line about that. 2 locations, this one open to under age patrons til 8. Don't think I would want my kids subjected to that through dinner. Small band started early. At 8. Music was just ok. Very loud. Would I go again? Probably not. Not my scene. Had a good time though. It was all part of the experience.

Came for Sunday brunch, after seeing the menu in advance. Parking is paid, regardless of where you park. Only a couple dollars. It wasn't too crowded, but we had a 12:15pm reservation. As the afternoon progressed, it started to get crowded. As others said, you can have hookah at the table, but we didn't. Our server Aniyah gave good attentive service. Drinks were really good. I had the Peaches & Cream French Toast, with a side of grits. The french toast was really good, but could've been a slightly bigger portion. The grits were good, but definitely salty. Also know that your table time limit is two hours. After that, they'll ask you to move to the bar. But food was good, so I'd come back for more.

I often visit new restaurants when I'm fresh off of work. Around 5:30pm there wasn't any patrons besides me. The decor is inviting and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. They really make the effort. Lots of smiles. Bartender, not so much, but that's ok. She may be a bit introverted. Plating of food and drinks were nice. Unfortunately, every food item was extremely salty. Ironic "salt" is in the restaurant name. Even my green vegetable side was too salty. I have never in my life never finished a plate of lemon pepper wings, I had about 3-4 left. Just too salty. I ate all of my lobster because it was too expensive to waste. I am open to giving the place another try or even the additional location. Thank you to all staff for good customer service.

Google
Beautiful intimate location. Celebrated my birthday with family, we had a great time. Most Appetizers were amazing, the entree wasn’t as favorable for the price. We order a mix drink tower but the drink was not good, the drink was tart and it more tastes like fruit punch with no alcohol. Overall I ga e a four because the manager was gracious in making sure we had a great experience. Our food was recooked and we got birthday entree on the house. We definitely would try it again, but only ordering appetizers. 😋 This location is paid hrly parking, be careful I heard the boot guy is ridiculous with his booting!

Google
Reservations at 10:40pm Saturday Night for my bro bday. There was sufficient free parking and police monitoring parking, which is cool. We arrived 30 minutes early so we let them know and went to the bar. High Atlanta prices drinks of course but everything was great and good service. We didn’t sit til about 11 due to short staff. Hookahs $45 ehhh. You do get the feeling that this place is expensive and they want that tan to run up. They don’t split checks on small groups so be prepared. They had a good range of food choices and prices that I thought was fair for Atlanta nightlife. When you add up the drinks and the hookah, you can really run it up. It’s a late night restaurant with a Vibe. No standing dancing, no DJ and nothing playing on all those TV’s. Nice looking people everywhere. Restrooms clean. I had the salmon fillet with rice and plantains which was delicious, I ate every bit of it but if you are hungry, I will get something with a larger portion. Catfish is large portion and under $50. Wings only $15. Some of their sides are expensive. Since we knew ahead where we were going, I believe we planned for what we got and it was good. I could have dropped a star for no DJ, nothing on the TVs and seating us later than our schedule but the food was very good, free parking, everyone was very nice and we knew ahead with the place was, and my brother enjoyed his birthday so it was fine to me

Yelp
This was my first time at Sea Salt and I loved it. The oysters, salmon and veggies. The service was great! Great music and plenty of TVs with sports going!

Yelp
Every dish was amazing! Well prepared, well flavored, definitely recommend. Good drinks and chill vibe on a Sunday. Made reservations although it didn't seem needed on Sunday. Looking for good food in semi-casual to casual vibe this is a great place. Could easily be a "go to". The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'm particular about cleanliness. There were crumbs and left over food on the seats and the glass on the doors need to be cleaned as well as some surfaces wiped down. This can easily be fixed and I hope it is the next time I come back.

Yelp
I loved my visit to Sea Salt while in Atlanta! I almost wanted to chew my fingers off while eating the Shrimp Toast because it was covered in a JERK PESTO SAUCE that was soooooo good! The catfish was fried to perfection - it came with Turkey sausage and shrimp on top! The shrimp and grits and that came with fried okra on top! Eats: Shrimp Toast Fried Green Tomatoes Sea Salt Catfish Shrimp and Grits Drinks: Salty Marley They have two locations and wont disappoint! .

Yelp
Went to their Wednesday Karaoke and Crab night. It was super fun. People came up and sing old school karaoke. They also have $20 crabs (buy one get one cluster free). The wings was yummy. Down fall looooooong wait time! We did not have a reservation and waited one hour to be seated. Reservation highly recommended.

Jalyce M.

Yelp
First to start with the fact that there was a parking lot for Sea Salt. It was actually very inexpensive about four dollars for four hours. This is great because I didn't have to look for street parking. The music was amazing. You could hear it playing from the parking lot and that scared me a bit because it seemed like it would be too loud. However, when we got inside the music was just the right volume. It was unique, and the fact that it was not rap music. It was old-school R&B and every song made you want to get up and dance whoever the DJ was to DJ any party I go to. Now let's get to the food. I had a virgin Mojito, which was delicious by the way I then ordered the lamb chop meal My lamb chops came out Luke cold, and the potatoes were just cold. I had to send my ass back because they didn't have cheese and when I got the new eggs, there was so much butter I couldn't enjoy it. The biscuit was good at the top, but the bottom was too dry. My friend ordered the seafood omelette. It needed seasoning and you could taste that the crab meat was imitation crab. overall I would not go back for the food but I would definitely go back for the vibe.

Yelp
Food = ok Service = ok Ambiance = ok/niceish First of all, they have limited parking for a nominal fee. I think perhaps $3 for 2 hours. I went on a Thursday night. Apparently, that's date night because there were couples everywhere at each table around midnight. When we got there, we had to seat ourselves and no one came over to serve us for at least 10+ minutes. I guess it's a good sign that business is good and they have more patrons than they do staff to serve them. But once we finally did get our waitress (after waiting for longer than average/normal) she was attentive and nice. I got the strawberry Hennessy. I was disappointed that it had cheap presentation in a small plastic cup. The small size of the drink was an underwhelming value for the price. But it was fine. I ordered the salmon with the mashed potatoes and broccolini. The salmon and broccolini were cooked well with a good taste and texture. But the mash potatoes were not great. They definitely tasted like they were instant powdered mashed potatoes made from a box. Not the buttery whipped flavor and texture I was hoping for.

Yelp
Was visiting Atlanta and this spot was recommended by our Lyft driver. It was a Friday night and actually not very busy so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our food and cocktails did not disappoint! Everything was very tasty and full of flavor. Our wait staff could have been a tad more attentive, but aside from that, we had a great experience and would visit again when in town.

Brandeis C.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant with a large party (we made a reservation ahead of time) and the staff was amazing. From arrival to getting the check, they were nice and attentive. The food was A1. It came out fast ( which was great since we had a large party) it was hot and very tasty. The ambiance was cool, different from what I'm used to in the Howell Mill area, but glad to see businesses that cater to all folks. I had the Mac and cheese, Brussels and broccolini and everything was flavorful. The drinks were ok.

Cam S.

Yelp
Parking is $3 for 3 hours Ample parking shaded between businesses in the area. Really cute quaint place with high design that I really appreciate! Love a good aesthetic. Facilities were very neat and clean. The hostess was so sweet! I should have gotten her name. She had red/orange lashes that pop and it matched her personality! She sat us on the heated patio and it was cold Saturday but the heated patio felt amazing. Our server was super nice as well. She made great choices. I always ask the servers which they recommend and she picked some great options. My drink was good. The portion sizes were ample! Neither of my friends could finish their plates but did say the dishes were good. Would definitely recommend for party of 1, 2-6. I wouldn't come with more than that unless you can rent the place out for an intimate party. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. the music was really nice. The service was top-tier and the food was delicious. The lamb chops was just amazing suggestion of my waiter. I will be visiting again.

Yelp
On Wednesday Aug 30th, 2023 I was catfished by this seafood restaurant on my bestfriends birthday! Overall review: 4/10 My bestfriend has been a constant source of joy and support in my life, especially this year as I navigated motherhood and working for the first time. I wanted to take her to a nice restaurant with great food for her birthday- very simply. We went to this restaurant after seeing a advertisement from VibesInAtl media page. We are sure he was paid for this review. We went for there Wednesday crab leg special night and let me tell you about our time: 1.We waited an hour for the table which we didn't mind since we did not have reservations 2.Server- 8/10 - she was helpful and honest about the menu 3.Drinks-3/10 - the water tasted dirty and we were informed all the sodas were flat. That was enough for me to not be interested in anything else 4.Food-4/10 - my number 1 issue with the food is that they are not selling what they advertised. The crab legs they showed looked juicy and the ones we received were dry and sad. We also got lobster Mac and cheese, which tasted like it was made with Velveeta cheese which I personally don't expect to be in dishes that cost $20+ dollars. Lastly, we had the seafood food dip, it wasn't bad but made with the same velveeta cheese. Note: they placed us in front of the AC. We were freezing the whole time there! Overall, this is a regular hood spot and not a spot for people that actually wants good food. You go here to smoke hookah and drink liquor. I will be posting this review every Wednesday until someone from the restaurant can reach out to me at Kay.abundance@gmail.com.

Yelp
We came during happy hour at 5:30pm and was immediately seated. The place was nice and clean and vibe was chilled! Sydnei was our server and she was absolutely amazing!! We ordered the seafood dip, Tai chili wings, lemon pepper wings, crab balls, and crab claws, and fried green tomatoes for appetizers and everything was sooooooo good. We also ordered a orange and mighty freeze hookah and it came out immediately! Sydnei continued to check in on us to make sure we were good!! I would highly recommend coming during happy hour no rush and we were able to stay as long and food came out quickly.

Yelp
Seems like a really cool spot! Stopped by here during the St Paddy's bar crawl "Kegs & Eggs", this place was poppin. I'd never heard of or been to Sea Salt before but they had awesome music and great drinks. We got 4 of their St Paddy's shots, and they tasted great. Definitely want to come back on a weekend night, I know it'd be a ton of fun!

Yelp
After experiencing the Howell Mill location, some former colleagues and I decided to try the North Highlands location. We hadn't seen one another in a while and were excited to connect and try this restaurant and in, however, the locations are definitely not the same. Pros: *our waitress, Nautica, was attentive and professional; gave great main entree recommendations *my appetizer was piping hot and delish *our food orders came out relatively quick *we were seated without a wait *although there was a tv or two in the restaurant and music was playing, it wasn't loud, allowing us to truly converse without yelling Cons: *despite it being quite chilly this evening and it's winter time, I was surprised that there was a fruit fly issue (they kept hovering around our table/food and drinks) *restaurant felt smaller and not as aesthetically pleasing as the Howell Mill location (may have been the layout) *the booth we were in was around the corner from a restroom and a drain in the floor right before the restroom itself, one of which presented an unpleasant sewage-like smell *the bar attendants clearly had an attitude because I didn't care for my drink and asked for a different beverage (ironically everyone was underwhelmed by their drink--I just couldn't manage to enjoy mine) *the vibe wasn't really warm/friendly, with the exception of the waitress If I return it will not be this location and some time needs to pass to allow this experience to be forgotten.

Yelp
THIS IS FOR THE HOWELL MILL LOCATION!!! The food was AMAZING! We made reservations for 10p on a Saturday. We were seated about 10:40p and they told us it was one check (3 cards) for a party of 5 or more. We weren't sweating it fr, but it would've been nice to know ahead of time for cash. Despite the wait for our table, NOTHING took long to come out. And everything was just how we ordered. We ordered the wings & mussels as appetizers. The mussels were so good, I ordered some to go. The wings were cooked perfectly. The lemon pepper wings tasted like regular air fried wings, but they were seasoned and delicious. We had a few different drinks & they all were good. The lobster mac was good & full of meat, but not thick & creamy; more sauce like. The lamb was perfectly seasoned & the fig sauce was surprisingly the perfect sweet & savory taste. Salmon was delicious with the garlic butter; made us regret not trying the claws. The fried rice was good, the broccolini was okay, but them brussel sprouts, THEY WERE THE BEST SIDE I PROMISE! We even ordered another side they were so good. We also had hookah and enjoyed the dj; very nice chill vibe. DEFINITELY returning here.

Sidéwon Andre N.

Yelp
Came back again and had a great time! Service was a miss today mainly because of the bartender. She got a noticeable attitude when I ordered a drink and sat back down at my table. I guess she was annoyed she had to walk over but she wasn't doing anything but talking to the guy at the bar and smoking the hookah...Lol. She made a snarky remark when she brought the check and said I had to close out with her....I left a $2 tip for the rude remark which is still better than nothing. Still 4 stars as restaurants have bad days but I think the restaurant may have been in transition from brunch to dinner...Aside from that, food was good as usual. This time around I ordered the Crab Cake sliders and tasted some of my friends fried shrimp basket. I also ordered the Crab balls which were delicious. The Crab Cake sliders were ok as they were super bready. Best Crab Cake in city is Noble fin which sadly closed during Covid. Del Frisco has a pretty good Crab Cake as well. Fried Shrimp platter was tasty as well and salted just right. I still recommend this place as it's super chill and in VA Highland area.

Aj M.

Yelp
The atmosphere and vibe is amazing. The DJ was everything! Our server was attentive and had good recommendations for drinks. The seafood dip has big chunks of crab meat and so did the lobster roll. The lamb chops are good, I personally didn't care for the sauce but it was good. The fries that came with the lobster were so good. It tastes like salt and vinegar chips to me. The other dish I forgot the name is was good as well! I will be back.

Brea G.

Yelp
Update: the Howell mill location is better than the other one I'm highlands!! It's soo good and better service and vibe, IMO. Parking is free and plenty since it's in a plaza. 10/10.

Shali P.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for dinner. Our server Mika or Miko was absolutely amazing. She was so informative about the menu and very attentive. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Meka D.

Yelp
I came on a Tuesday for a girls night out around 7 pm. The server was super friendly and attentive. She let us know about the happy hours specials right away. They have a nice laid back chill vibe and a DJ that played good music. The vibes were everything. I thought the food was ok. The calamari was very crispy. I also ordered the lamb chops. Typical orders include at least 4 lamb chops and they only give you 3. They weren't cooked to the correct temperature or medium well neither my friend's at medium. They were all well done. The mashed potatoes were cold and lacked seasoning. We all had to send our food back. It still wasn't right. I had the Henny Rita and it was good. I most likely won't return on the strength of not being pleased with the food.

andrea s.

Yelp
The service was great! And the food was delicious! Great place for a healthy meal. Keep in mind they do tend to put the music a bit louder the later it gets.

Shaketta G.

Yelp
Our waitress was bomb. Very nice and friendly. The food portions were large. The drinks were not strong. The restaurant is kinda small. There were several flying bugs inside. The food has flavor.

Tanisha H.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but sadly it was just a barely like... I will start with the parking situation, it sucks like most establishments that pop up in the city of Atlanta.. a small tiny paid lot that you're lucky if you don't get a scrape on your car before your dinner is up. The hostesses were.. not needed because they didn't even get up from the stand to greet us and they just directed us to a seat while they vaped.. (which is fine when you're not at work but super unprofessional when you are and it's blowing directly into the customers faces) We ordered the lobster bites (they were good for the 3-4 pieces they put in there) in other words overpriced. I don't have an issue with paying for food but at least make it worth my money. My husband had the salmon and grits that he said was really good so between that and my lobster salad this is the reason for the 3 stars because I really wanted to go lower.. They also have you scan for your menu but the pricing is incorrect once you get the bill. That's false advertisement no matter how insignificant the price. They need to fix that.. Ambience was ok, it's small but the music was good. Not sure if I would go back again, too many things I didn't love!!

Chris T.

Yelp
Went here yesterday around 4:30. The kitchen didn't open until a little after 5pm. We got there after brunch, and what seems to be a hype spot. When we walked in music was playing and people were smoking on hookahs. It was pretty low key when we got there. He orders the strawberry Hennessy Rita and I ordered the sweet minty. Both were good drinks. I ordered the lamb chops with okra and mashed potatoes and he had the lobster Mac n cheese. And we have the salty dip. These were tasty. The lobster was a fried tail and the Mac n cheese was separate and it came with broccolini. The place is not big and very clean. Seems to be a young type of crowd based on the customers. They had tvs to watch. Parking lot is small, and you have to pay. Great customer service.

Ashleigh P.

Yelp
Eh. Everything was just ok. Had a strawberry henny-rita for my drink, very tasty but pricey for the size. I had fried lobster bites as an app. The taste & presentation was good, but the portions were small for the price; approximately 5 small pieces. Ordered the Salmon for my entree. Great portion size, but the salmon was dry. 1 app, 1 entree, 1 drink + automatic gratuity= $91 Bottle of water = $5 (i drank my spit instead ) It was a cute place and the music was dope, but I won't be back...

Tracy L.

Yelp
Sea Salt Virginia Highlands. Ok let me first say that the new location on Howell Mill wasn't open yet. I have been waiting to come to this restaurant for a while and it did not disappoint. I went to brunch with my daughter we made reservations. The service was very good. No wait, they sat us immediately. My daughter and I ordered the same thing. The food was hot and was plated very well. I will be coming back. The atmosphere is a swanky kinda of style that can transition into sexy in the evening. The server was nice and attentive. I will be coming back. The parking is paid parking but its right next door to the restaurant. Not a far walk if you have heels on.

Symone C.

Yelp
Had a great time and the food was fantastic! Wild highly recommend going for brunch and dinner both menus won't disappoint!

Cici T.

Yelp
Visited on a Thursday between 4 and 630. I ordered the all you can eat oysters and a drink with Jalapeños in it (forgot the name). The drink was very good, I ordered 2. The oysters....no. They put something on top that causes it to be mushy. Possibly frozen spinach. It's not good at all. The mushy stuff makes the texture yucky. I had 12 only bc it was $45, all you can eat. It's a cute establishment... my bartender was cool. I'll never try them nasty oysters again but will go back to try other food in the future.

Yelp
This place popped up as a TikTok recommendation so I decided to check it out Friday evening since I was in the area. The restaurant is very small...like really small. I decided to sit at the bar since I was alone and the tables seemed a bit close together. The bartender was very friendly and nice. My whiskey sour was perfect. I ordered lobster bites and catfish and grits. The lobster bites would have been perfect, except they were extremely salty! They were cooked nicely, not overcooked at all. But the batter they fried the lobster in was too heavy on salt and they were almost unbearable to eat. I utilized the remoulade sauce (which tasted store-bought) to mask the salty flavor. I didn't eat much of the fried jalapenos that came with it because...well they were hot as hell. The catfish and grits were terrible in my opinion. They were underseasoned, unlike the lobster bites that were over-seasoned. They came with pieces of fried okra which were actually pretty good, even if okra doesn't go in fish and grits. The grits were creamy but blah since the fish was bland. I didn't want to complain and figured I'd just take it home after I tried to eat half of it since I was very hungry. But even after getting home and adding my own seasoning, I just couldn't enjoy it. Overall, cute place, kinda loud, probably won't bother trying again.

Yelp
First of allll, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF! , I haven't had GREAT food outside of my own in foreverrrr, our experience was a 10/10 definitely recommend!! Our server was Sabrie! She was so sweet and polite & made our dining experience a breeze. I ordered the Asian fried salmon which came with white rice and snow peas. My salmon was well seasoned, moist & breaded to perfection! It wasn't greasy nor dry! I also ordered a side order of lobster Mac which had a piece of lobster in nearly every bite! My boyfriend ordered the salmon bites and a side order of Mac and cheese , his food was gone in 2.5 seconds so you know it had to be good! S/n: There is a parking fee of $5 for those who were wondering.

Ashley M.

Yelp
First, I would suggest making reservations. This place is super small but it has vibe to it so that's okay. The hostess was very personable and secured our table. Pros and Cons: The music was good. Salmon and grits were really good. The lamb chop were also (and the glaze) but they are basically lollipop chops and it was only 3, so keep that in mind per the price. You are sitting really close to people so if you don't like the "turn to your neighbor and look them right in the eye" view, don't go. Our waitress was not good, no other way to say it. Others seem to be really engaged with their tables tho. She wasn't attentive. Asked multiple times for the same drinks...multiple times for water (it's bottled and cost $4 or something like that fyi)...asked multiple times for a to-go box. She didn't know how the salmon was cooked. Everything was...basically a guessing game when questions were asked. Ya know.."Ummm I think...".."It's kinda like..." those kind of answers. Drinks were o-Kay. Please be specific when you order something not of the menu. They definitely gave me the top shelf liquor ...my fault for just stating a drink and not being specific on what to mix it with although they could ask, I mean some places do, but trust me, that ain't happen again, bc I didn't taste anything anyways . In either drink at the table. The parking was 'meh'. Just be glad they have a parking lot. Text the parking number and pay. It was only 5 bucks at least for us because they do boot your cars out there. The noise level on a scale of 1-10 about a 7 depending on the song. Overall, I would suggest going if you wanna do something with a friend or date.

LaDarius P.

Yelp
Dope spot, consistently good food and vibes. I've been multiple times now and the food is always on point. They offer hookah, I normally enjoy it I'm normally there when it's live music or a good playlist in general (sat in silence for 30 minutes once because something was going on with their system). Service is normally good, has it moments, but overall good. Paid parking in their lot and on the street, unless you're willing to walk a little.

Deboney G.

Yelp
Yes I am feeling good. The drinks ! The food ! The music! The hookah ! Besides the wait everything else was awesome. (The wait was the decision on a 4 rating ) I highly recommend making reservations, NOW' Chef Frank recommendations were A1 Fried shrimp, Brussel sprouts, spinach, lobster tail, macaroni and cheese, lemon pepper wings. Great, tasteful , the crab bites were meaty. The lemon pepper wings were wet but not drenched. I am not a chocolate fan but the others enjoyed the warm drizzle and moise cake.

Yelp
Celebrating a relative's birthday & the Restaraunt's staff from the Hostess, Bartenders & Servers were all on point. I was a little hesitant as this was my first event since C-19 reared itself & although I stayed masked up, I was comfortable. The layout is more like a tavern which will be a nice spot for the summer time with its quaint side patio & red leather seating. The French doors were a little tricky to managed, yet it provides a good barrier from the main dining area. The full bar accommodates maybe 6-8 seats with pub style tables & booths situated in the middle. 411: *Seafood Themed Menu *Located in Virginia Highlands *Unisex Restrooms with a hourly upkeep *Hookah is welcomed. *Pay to Park via an online app *Brunch is offered *Only French Fries & Salads for the V Crew *Open 7 days a week, 5P-3A A casual with an upscale vibe type of establishment.

Yelp
I went to the Howell mill location, with a friend. I made a 8pm reservation on a Friday. We arrived a few mins early and we immediately sat. The crab balls, and shrimp toast were great starters. The salmon and grits were good af. And the portion was crazy big ! The sea salt catfish was amazing. The strawberry henny margarita and strawberry lemon drop were strong and good as well. Parking is free !!!! But it is pricey.

Yelp
Tania was a great server and took great care of us during brunch. Would definitely comeback because of her great service.

Yelp
Imagine showing up at the reserved time only to be told the restaurant is overbooked. It's extremely small, so there's really no way to accommodate an overbooked matchbox. This was a frustrating initial experience, but we decided to stay for a bit...only to be served this (pictured) nearly an hour later... Fair to say, I'd pass on another opportunity to dine here!

Yelp
Their prices are outrageous for the piss poor service we received. I had the Asian fried salmon. It was good. We were the only table in there upon arrival. It a group of 8 and we were celebrating a birthday. Left a lot to be desired. I feel bad because I suggested the place. I literally had to walk to the bar to get a drink while Jojo was scrolling through her phone at the host stand. Definitely overhyped

Yelp
I had a great time here today. The vibes here are very good. My server, Muffin, was excellent. She was very friendly and super helpful. Being that it was my first time here, she recommend the salmon and it was the best salmon I've tasted in a long time. If you're ever in the area and looking for good food and good vibes, this is the place. Ask for Muffin, she'll take great care of you

Yelp
This was my first time going to SS and I was so disappointed. Ive seen others say that they have had great experiences so I decided to try it out. Starting with the good: the building is super cute with the lighting and ambience. The waitress was nice. The drinks were great and flavorful. And the DJ played great music. The bad: the food was disgusting. Some of the worst seafood Ive had in the Atlanta area. We ordered oysters, lobster mac n cheese, fried shrimp, crab cakes and the tastiest thing was the spinach. We only took bites of our food and was still stuck with a $200 bill after complaining about the food. Also, the bathroom didnt lock properly so anyone could turn the knob and open it. Highly disappointed.

Yelp
Omg the food here is amazing!! We really enjoyed the overall ambience of the place. We were able to get in and out before the typical brunch with djs and ppl yelling "aye" started so that helps. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing!

Yelp
Overall, this place needs a lot of work. The food is really expensive for the quality and taste. I had oysters. The oysters were filled with grit and sand and not good at all. They came with spinach and cheese on top and all you really tasted was the spinach and sand. I also had the brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, and a fried shrimp basket. The brussel sprouts were good, the garlic mashed potatoes were tasteless and a little clumpy and the fried shrimp tasted like the flour they used to fry it in. The drinks were the saving grace for the meal. The Henny-rita was good. I would recommend this place for drinks, but not food.

Yelp
This was my 1st time visiting this restaurant. The service was horrible the food was horrible. I ordered chicken and waffles but what I got was a cold chicken sandwich with southern potatoes. When I asked my server what happened to my order she said , the kitchen could not make the waffles because they no longer had a waffle maker so instead the kitchen sent me what they thought was the next best thing. I was so disappointed in the service and the food. The hostess was so lazy she did not get from her sit to greet people instead she yelled them to get their attention. So disrespectful and unnecessary. I wish I can give zero stars .

Yelp
First off, the manager was so friendly and welcoming. The food was great! The ambiance was amazing, the decor is very nice. But the vibe was right most of all! Drinks were delicious and super cute. And we were sat immediately on a Saturday night

Yelp
Food was amazing can't lie but unfortunately I was targeted due to me being from out of town I feel like they had someone come busted my 2021 trail boss Silverado truck window out broke in my truck because I have out of town plates..the manger and security guard just stood there looking stupid and suspicious the cameras on the building are facing down towards the cement the police even said that was oddd they left us in the parking lot didn't give two cares in the world that my vehicle was vandalized on their property I'm very mad and disappointed and won't recommend anyone to drive to this establishment

Yelp
Visited Sea Salt on Howell Mill on a Saturday night with my boyfriend after seeing a few tiktok videos. Even though it was just us two, we still called in and made a reservation just in case. On arrival we were greeted and quickly seated in the back of the restaurant in a booth. Our server was friendly and very attentive. We tried multiple items from the menu! We started with the Sea Salt Dip (lobster and shrimp), lobster bites, and the fried pickles. The dip was a smaller serving than expected but it was loaded with meat and the baguette was delicious. I enjoyed the fried pickles and the dipping sauce that it was served with. The lobster bites were also really good and fried perfectly. For the entrees, I tried the crab cake sliders with fries and fried okra. The crab cake sliders were amazing! I would go back just for those! The french fries came out cold and hard but our server was able to fix it quickly and bring me a new plate of fries. I enjoyed the fried okra and I dipped them in the remoulade that came with the lobster bites. My boyfriend tried the lobster mac and cheese but we could have lived with out. The cheese sauce was not good and we were not expecting them to make the mac and cheese with penne noodles. But, the lobster and the brussel sprouts were pretty good. I definitely want to visit again and possibly check out the other Sea Salt location.

Yelp
Not at all what I expected. Ive visited both locations and was not surprised pleased neither time. Service was great, drinks were fine. The food is terrible! The first visit I had the Rasta pasta and it was just too Loose. Didn't have enough Parmesan to thicken it up. The remoulade was salty for the crab bites. Disgusted. Second visit had the wings,

Yelp
Had brunch to celebrate a friends bday. The food was great. I had grits and shrimp, and I devoured the plate. The only thing I hope they change is to allow you order the appetizers during brunch.
