Terrific service (thanks Michelle)! Happy hour was awesome! Food was delicious. We ordered a lot of little things - all were great, and we didn't get the typical turn-up-your-nose-when-you-don't-order-full-entrees. Thanks!

The Food portions was Big. Which was great for the price your paying. We went when it was b1g1 for Locals. The entree was good but the appetizers was just OK. Didn't like the fact you had to pay for a bottle of water which was $8.00 for a large Fuji.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner. We were a party of ten and went with the tasting menu. The bread set the tone for the quality of food to expect. The appetizers were above average for a steakhouse all delicious. They served so much steak and so many sides plus way more desserts then we expected. We were drinking and a bit rowdy. The waiter never bothered us or asked us to quite down. They closed a curtain to limit disruptions to the other guests. An absolutely delicious meal and the perfect venue for a large guys trip

Yelp
very accommodating to our large party. we were able to get a chef's choice course special for the table, which was an assortment from almost every area of the menu. if you like steak and you have the funds, this place is worth it while you're living it up in vegas. (located inside the MGM Grand)

Yelp
This is a kitchen preforming at a very high level. It's been 10 years since we dined here. Oh wow, a delicious bone-in NY strip (88), amazing diver scallops (51) served with shaved fennel, the best bread we've had all week, a good shrimp cocktail (32), though it was just a bit overcooked. The cocktail sauce was excellent. Side of skin-on fries (20) were delicious, though 20 bucks feels damn steep. Bottled water (9) and a glass of casa pillar (24) = $224 total. 5/5 for the food 3/5 for the service Bread arrived after the 1st course was served. Our waiter was a little bit awkward. Eager, but not actively listening. Both of these are just "whatever", not gonna make or break the evening. But combine them with how they seat the guests and there's an issue. We didn't make a reservation so we were sat in the bar area where there is a long row of 2-tops. It is a nice area (see photo). We were sat at the very end, where everyone must pass to enter the main dining room. A very high traffic spot. No other tables were occupied. Very uncomfortable. They sat the next non-reservation customer directly next to us. That is really odd. Any other establishment with experienced hosts would alternate the guests and tables. If they continued in that style, they would seat every table starting on one end until the row was filled. If it were a boat, it would capsize. 0 = person I = table So they did this: 0 0 I I I I Instead of this: 0 I 0 I 0 I 0 Or instead of this: 0 I I I 0 I I I 0 I'm still gonna return because that meal easily beat STK and Jean Georges. So much delicious WOW!

Yelp
Great service and lovely venue. Ordered family style and left leaving carrying my stomach. The house bread was soft and comes out hot and fresh. Caesar salad was great. Wagyu skirt steak was flavorful and tender. Definitely order the monkey bread dor dessert if you have room at the end.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious (doesn't even begin to sum up our dinner here on Friday evening. We were shocked they had reservations still available + thankful they did so that we could have this experience. Service was incredible (and multiple people working like a well oiled machine!). We shared oysters (half west coast half east coast), whipped potatoes, mushrooms and the strip steak. The attention to detail came through + this was more than enough food for two of us. The table bread was warm and buttery and a great Malbec always pairs well with steak! Without question we will dine here when we return to Vegas (it's a few days later and we're still reminiscing about it. An absolute must.

Yelp
Date: Sunday, July 14th, 2024 Time: around 7:30pm Party of: 2 Meal: Dinner *Seafood Tower ($175) *Roast Foie Gras ($39) *Salad Romaine ($10) *Templeton Rye ($21) x2 *Macallan 12 ($26) I adore a good seared foie. So does my mom. (Like mother, like daughter?) Last time she went to Vegas, she said the foie here was delish, so I decided to check it out. The hubby and I walked in and asked if we could sit at the bar. At first look, it was all reserved, but we saw two people leave after a few mins and quickly grabbed their seats. The hubs knows I love a good seafood tower. When he saw it, he's was like let's get it! I'm never one to say no, so of course we ordered it. It is very pretty with the dry ice when presented. I love salad, so the caesar hit the spot. And it came with actual anchovies. Yum! Now the thing I came for, the foie. Eh, I thought it was okay. It was a lil over so missing that rich buttery decadent foie flavor. And it was more like a strawberry salad with pieces of foie. But I can't get this back home, so I enjoyed it. They did give us complimentary bread and butter which the hubs enjoyed. Bread is seriously his favorite course whenever I drag him out to meals. Our bartender was very sweet. Attentive and friendly. We were here for a good two hours and never felt rushed. Plus, he made a mean manhattan. Nicely balanced. Vibe at the bar is chill. We were at the end away from the door, so it didn't feel too cramped or anything. The crowd was nice. The hubs and I actually got into a kinda heated discussion (probably due to my buzziness from the drinks) and the person next to us chimed in. (I gotta watch my passion and volume sometimes. Lol!) But he was super nice and just wanted to join in. Bar area is a nice place to grab a few dishes and drinks if you don't want to commit to a full on meal. REVIEW #3488

Yelp
Feels silly continuing to update this review - but Craftsteak is consistently excellent food and service. Had another amazing dinner and brought our kids with us this time. Love having the kids there because then we can order more and try a wider variety of food. I will never get over Tom Colicchio's short ribs, they are always the best. Amazing salads, sides, desserts and always excellent service. Can't wait to come back. Again and again and again...

Yelp
Tonight the food was disappointing overall, even though the wagyu skirt steak was still fantastic. The scallops were overcooked, over seasoned and had soaked up a ton of butter by the time they were served at our table. The halibut didn't taste fresh or maybe just not high quality. It was also overcooked so that didn't help. The carrots and fingerling potatoes were the best part of the meal for me since I had the halibut and scallops as my entree. Their side dishes are always pretty good. The decor is great, but the ambiance isn't as classy due to subpar service. Since it's been so hit or miss, we probably won't be back. If you're looking for amazing seafood, there are so many other places that are so much better in Vegas. Steak is the only reason to come here.

Yelp
I enjoyed my bone in rib eye with chimichurri and side of potatoes. Their service was okay. The space is large and can sit big parties comfortably. I deducted stars because they would not accommodate non dairy in any of their vegetables and told me that they pre marinade them in dairy. I've been to a lot of steakhouses and have not experienced this before with vegetables.

Yelp
So the guy Tom Colicchio is someone I follow on TV and of course I had to try his restaurant. I will say you have to be clear on what you order as we left it in the hands of our server and we ended up getting a very expensive bill. Regardless the food was absolutely amazing between me and my colleague and I will 100% when I go back to Vegas.

Yelp
Returning to post an updated review after we dined here last week. Following the rather disappointing meal we had during our last visit, I was a bit reluctant to return but did so at the behest of the GM and boy am I glad I did. We enjoyed an exceptional meal revolving around the chef's tasting menu. Everything that hit our table was excellent from the cocktails to the appetizers and sides. The absolute standouts for me were the avocado salad, the Japanese wagu steak, shiitake mushrooms and broccolini. I will be dreaming about that steak for a long time. Kudos to Mario, Patricia and team for providing attentive but not overbearing service. It was a joy to dine here and I am so grateful for the happy memories made.

Yelp
My wife took me to craft steak last night for a beautiful Birthday dinner and let me tell you.... The food and drinks were amazing and very tasteful. The atmosphere was very beautiful and relaxing , Everyone was were very welcoming and Eddie Mario and Fabio were really great ! This was a greatest dining experience of my life !

Yelp
I find myself in Las Vegas staying at a local MGM property on the strip next to the MGM Grand! To celebrate my friend's birthday, we decide upon going to a proper Las Vegas steakhouse and choose Tom Coliccio's Craftsteak! Tom Coliccio is also known as one of the judges from the TV realty show, "Top Chef." Chef Coliccio is not the most boisterous of celebrity chef's, but his skill as a chef and restauranter is par excellent! Located in the food courts of the MGM Grand, Craftsteak is definitely a destination to have a great dinner with a small group of friends, or a LARGE group of friends. The bar is slightly lit to take a walk-in customer or two who need a quiet stylish beverage and to watch a game on one of the TV screens. However, when selecting the main dining room, it's classic, elegant, and has a little bit of lower light to reflect its mellow personality. Our party made reservations ahead of time (always wise), and made sure we were able to have the full menu to order from, to our heart's delight. We ordered at least two bottles of wine from their cellars on their updated iPad. And chose two excellent offerings of chardonnay and merlot. Appetizer selections also started us off well to include an excellently prepared steak tartare with egg (Quail I believe, but a chicken egg is available). Don't forget shrimp cocktail, roasted mushrooms and the fresh shrimp cocktail. There are other sides such as roasted brussel sprouts and harcot verre available. Now, don't forget the mouthwatering made-to-order cuts of steak. Our favorite was the Porterhouse steak, and bone in ribeye selections. Be advised, CALL AHEAD when you order the Porterhouse. The reason why is because they only keep so many on hand for the day. So, that we had one available was of great fortune. After dinner, our party did not forget to order from an equally robust dessert menu. Several choices included house made gelato, fresh baked monkey bread in sweet caramelized sauce and fresh seasonal fruits. All told, be advised for three people, be prepared for the party to drop from $1200 - $1500 - But that is going rate for a proper dining experience in almost any city, while taking full advantage of the Las Vegas dining scene. I fully endorse having Craftsteak to be one of your destinations!

Yelp
Weather it's for a cocktail at the bar or dinner, this is the place to start your evening. Having been here many times over the last few years, the service and attention to detail is wonderful. If you are enjoying starting at the bar, Mike will take impeccable care of you and your guest needs. The wait staff during your dinner will be a step ahead of you and not miss a thing. You can't pick a bad steak or sides. We always do family style on a couple steaks and it's perfect. Make sure you stop by and give them a try and enjoy! I recommend you make a reservation if you are looking for a table.

Yelp
Always on our must visit list when in Vegas. I come for the mashed potatoes (seriously, I'd bathe in them) and wine list alone. Not a lot of options for the vegetarian crowd (yes, I know it's a steak house ). The husband swears by the melt in your mouth steaks that never disappoint. Everything we have tried has been excellent except the asparagus which was cold and bland. Definitely a win in a city overflowing with restaurant choices.

Dan C.

Yelp
Wow! Had dinner here with friends. Our waiter suggested the tasting menu. It's a lot of food. A filet, ribeye, strip steak and we added diver scallops. All cooked medium rare and very flavorful. We also had a very good warm frisee salad dressed with blue cheese and poached egg. Best salad I've ever had.Dessert- warm monkey bread.you gotta slap someone's mama on this! Warm Carmel sauce poured over it. Man this was sooo good. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This is our go to restaurant in Vegas. We always sit at the bar and have an amazing time with the bartenders. We spent the night talking to Mike and Kerry at the bar and they were amazing people. Their drink recommendations were great and they let us taste a bunch of different stuff which we've never tried. The food is always amazing and that is second to the experience that we have at the bar. The 24 hour braised, short rib and 28 day bone in dry aged ribeye of course were amazing as well as a bunch of side dishes. We will be back next time we're in Vegas to see them and eat. They make us feel like regulars and we've know Kerry for 5 years now. Mike introduced me to Lillet !!

Yelp
SERVICE I was helped by: Marvin Daniel Henry Sarah I say without reservation that this was the best server team I've experienced in my Yelp "career". Tom Colicchio knows how to hire because I got instant expertise with every question I asked the server team. I was going to get dessert to go a few minutes after I order it for dine-in, and Daniel responded with a counter-idea that the dessert be brought out the way the chef constructs it, and he would box what I had left over. This turned out to be a thoughtful idea because it paid homage to the chef and his creation, and I got a great photo of the Monkey Bread in its original glory, not entombed in a to-go box. AMBIANCE That cozy, low-lit steakhouse feel, complete with cute little antique styled lamps on each table which draws your eyes down to the warm lights. Then an impressive procession of 50 oversized glass decanters line the wall, giving you the feel you're in the back of a fancy underground speakeasy distillery. FOOD I asked for a recommendation from Marvin and this was the ensemble. Main T-bone Steak, dry aged, made medium Sides Trumpet Mushrooms Brussels Sprouts Potato Puree I wish I could tell you how warm and insightful Marvin was. Walking me through the menu, asking and listening to my preferences, and then running with it in the most confident manner that gets you excited about the food. Dessert I finished with the Cinnamon Monkey Bread w/ Pecan Toffee.

Yelp
Been here 2x and both dinners were just perfect. Good service. Although a little slow at the end when we finished and wanted to pay. But otherwise, pretty attentive throughout dinner. Food was so good from apps, main to dessert. We shared everything so everyone had a taste of everything we ordered. We asked for a booth for our group and were seated both times in a booth. Enjoyed that more than the table in the restaurant. Not a cheap restaurant but worth every penny.

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Had Reservations at 6pm and was seated instantly. We were greeted by 2 servers and boy did they really take care of us. The restaurant is nice and quaint. Huge Bar - the old fashioned was excellent and has a skull on top where they smoked it. The food was amazing. Started with oysters. We had the skirt steak and ribeye with 1/2 lobster. The mushroom and broccoli was delicious too.

Austin K.

Yelp
I was debating between a 4 and 5 rating. The food is excellent but it is pricier, although they don't skimp on the portions. They started us off with hot complimentary rolls. Two of us shared the wagyu tartare (well seasoned, but a little too cold but perhaps that's how they keep the texture) and the Frisee salad (tasty but much too salty and mustard-forward, we needed to pair with pur entrees). I ordered the Chilean sea bass which was so buttery and tender that my friend was surprised too. The lemon caper sauce went very well with it and my pinot grigio ($14 - don't remember the name, but actually tasty), paired nicely. Friend got the duck, which had a lightly sweet Glaze that was good but I thought the bass was better. We also got the aligot potatoes which are cheesy mash potatoes but it was not very cheesy at all - very good, and they gave us so much that we couldn't even finish half of it I think.

Yelp
Overall, I enjoyed our dinner at Craftsteak! The atmosphere was gorgeous inside- I was celebrating a couple of milestones with my new husband, so the environment was perfect. It was moody, romantic, and very spacious inside. The service was outstanding and probably some of the best service I had ever received from staff at any restaurant in Las Vegas. Everyone who possibly could check on us including management came to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything. Truly service is where this restaurant shines which is a wonderful thing. We never waited for anything and our every move was anticipated. Outstanding. We did the chef tasting menu ($175/each) which I would definitely recommend if you are ready to receive a LOT of food. We thought we were ready (and were warned) but we were not ready! Basically, the chef picks the best of what they feel is on the menu and that is what you pay for... you only choose how your meat is cooked. Definitely helps inspire those of us who get stuck in a food "rut" when choosing food to eat! Our drinks were amazing and definitely "spirits forward" drinks. Alcohol could be tasted but they were very well balanced! My only complaint is I am not a fan of the drink menu being on an iPad. It ruins the ambiance of the restaurant in my opinion with that bright screen and I like to look at the drink menu throughout my meal... I felt a bit rushed here because of the iPad. We started with the bread which was incredible. The lobster bisque was wonderful but it was lukewarm, which is not what I would expect. The salads were amazing and surprisingly my favorite part of the meal! Tomatoes were sweet and so balanced and the warm frisée salad was probably one of the best restaurant salads I've ever had! The steak, ironically enough, was the most underwhelming part of the meal for me! The steak was lukewarm by the time it got to us and although there was nothing wrong with the taste, I would expect a stronger flavor profile! This is where the meal should have shined. All of the sides, however, were excellent (and very rich): cauliflower, mushrooms, and the potato with bacon and cheese was incredible. By the end of this portion of the meal I was exhausted, but the best part of the meal was still to come: Dessert was my favorite part. The monkey bread was my favorite and something I will dream about. They even wrote a cute "Congratulations" note on the plate which was a beautiful touch and the crème brûlée was fabulous as well. To summarize: Craftsteak is a great restaurant with impeccable service, gorgeous ambience, and pretty tasty food. The tasting menu, in my opinion, is a splurge, but considering the amount of food you receive, it is well worth it in my eyes. (Though seriously it is a lot of food they do not mess around with that!!!) I would 100% return again because of the service I received and the friendliness of the staff. And the monkey bread!! Thank you again, Craftsteak staff, for making it such a beautiful night!

Michelle M.

Yelp
WOW...just WOW! As a big fan of Top Chef and of course the #1 judge Tom Colicchio, I have been wanting to try Craftsteak for a while. We have been to Vegas and amazing steakhouses more times than can count, but last night was finally the night we tried Craftsteak. And to say I was beyond impressed is putting it mildly. From the moment we walked in, everything was top notch. Upon being seated, our service team was friendly, warm, and attentive. Our dinner was so good. My husband and I shared the Caesar salad, 32 oz. ribeye, fries, their signature dessert...monkey bread. Everything was cooked, and served to perfection. Honestly, this is one of the best steakhouse dinners in Vegas that we've had in a while. We will definitely be back...

Alex W.

Yelp
My husband chose this restaurant as a steak lover. The vibe was really nice, with low mood lighting. Though I did feel that the tables were too close together. The meat dishes are served a la carte but still cost the same as a full entree. So you're obligated to order sides to make your meat into a meal. I ordered the halibut with lemon sauce and capers, which was fine. The heirloom tomatoes with pesto were a tad acidic. The potatoes aligot were good but very rich and the bacon on top was super fatty. My friend's medium well steak came out rare inside but charred on the outside. She is pregnant, so undercooked meat is a no no. The staff was very apologetic and did get her another steak pretty quickly that was much better. In the end, we left feeling a little disappointed by a meal for 4 coming in at $700.

Jim J.

Yelp
It's definitely a special occasion steakhouse with excellent service. The two of us were seated in a nice corner booth, ordered a bottle of red wine to start, and warm bread with butter was brought to our table. There were a variety of waiters & servers who helped out, and all struck up friendly conversation. The sides are pricey, but you're able to split most in half to try more variety. Even the half sizes were generous portions! We tried the Caesar salad and Basil Pesto Tomatoes salad. Both so good and refreshing. We each ordered steak, Filet Mignon and Bone-In Ribeye. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly. We didn't love the fries, but really enjoyed the mushroom blend and whipped potatoes on the side. Overall, this was a splurge meal that felt worth it with the beautiful ambiance, quality of food, and attentive service. Five stars!

Katie W.

Yelp
Very adult restaurant, very upscale and yet casual. The food was unbelievable, very rich and complex in flavor. Service was top notch, our waters were refilled non stop and dinner ware replaced every course. We let them know we had a show to get to and the expedited everything as we wished. The potatoes were more cheese than potatoes, so if you are a cheese lover get them!

Caes F.

Yelp
Craftsteak is a fancy schmancy restaurant with "steak" in the name. So, I didn't know this but remember Top Chef? Well, Thomas Patrick Colicchio is the one with no hair. The restaurant is located next to the casino. We decided to go to this restaurant when we smelled the food as we walked by. Suffice to say, we were hungry after slots and blackjack. The waiters are very professional and there was no wait list. We were promptly seated. The restaurant was extremely clean and there are a lot of older servers. The Bar was spacious. We ordered the following: 1. 18 oz Bone In Ribeye - decent $77 2. Diver Sea Scallops $47 - undercooked, the kitchen fixed it 3. Maui Onions $18 - surprisingly my favorite dish, paired so well with the Ribeye 4. French Fries $18 - not amazing, but a nice side dish They brought table bread (Parker House Rolls) with salt on top and butter, which was super delicious. The reason for one star off was the scallops. They were not cooked thoroughly (a little raw in the middle) and I requested them to be cooked more. After the kitchen cooked it more, it was super delicious. Overall, the place became more and more busy as the night proceeded so there was a bit of flagging down the staff for the check, but the food was good. That Maui Onion and Parker House Roll was the highlight of the night. Great service by the food runner Martin! He brought hot water and cleaned off the table quickly. He also recommended the Ribeye. Friendly and nice. Mario had to take care of a lot of tables so sometimes we didn't see him. Overall, pleased with the dinner.

Jon L.

Yelp
You know how certain tastes are associated with places or times in your life? To me previously frozen steaks always taste like black angus. The once popular low end steakhouse that dotted the state of california in the mid 90s. Tonight I had a $77 ribeye that tasted like black angus back in 96. I also got stale rolls and croutons apparently stale bread is a certain celebrity chefs special touch. The Caesar was just ok and deconstructed so hard to eat. The fingerling potatoes were delicious. No notes. Overall you're far better off going to fogo de chao.

Ian M.

Yelp
We dined here recently with a group of 18 that were in town for the HPE convention. After a short conversation amongst our party we decided to eat family style so got to try many items on the menu! The service was on point the entire night and we had three dedicated servers to our table. The bar was quick to refill drinks or crack open new bottles of wine. The salads and starters that came out were phenomenal! I'm not sure where they source their heirloom tomatoes from but they were some of the best and sweetest I've ever had! It was like they were plucked straight from the garden, sliced, seasoned with EVIO, sea salt, basil, plated and tabled. The avocado salad was very delicious too as was the hand cut steak tartare. Main courses consisted of Skirt Steak, Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Scallops and Halibut. I tried little pieces of everything along with asparagus, snap peas, Maui onions and my favorite, the assorted mushrooms...! I didn't think it would be possible to eat dessert but after seeing two of every menu item hit the table I just had to make more room...! I had a small bit of crème brûlée and a large portion of their delicious monkey bread. I shot a picture of the cheesecake as it was a neat presentation, but cheesecake has never been a favorite so I left it for others to gobble up. All in all a great place to dine with a very large menu and bar selection. Enjoy!

Ana F.

Yelp
Great quality food and exceptional service. Took my parents here (both with mobility challenges) and the staff was so incredibly helpful getting them seated and getting their wheelchair and scooter stored for dinner. There were 6 of us and we had 4 servers serving us throughout dinner. Never an empty water glass. Every server was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the tomahawk and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend this place for quality stead and service.

Tony M.

Yelp
Fantastic service and a great steak. I had the 8oz filet and it was perfectly cooked. Great sides, loved the mashed potatoes and the corn. The atmosphere was very high end and classy. Outstanding wine list selection. My only knock was on the old fashioned, they didn't use a large ice cube, it was a lot of ice instead. Overall it was fantastic.

Craig C.

Yelp
Craftsteak never disappoints. The food, drinks, service, and ambience are consistently superior. I ordered monkey bread for our guests who had never been before and, despite protestations of them being too full, between the two of them they completely finished the desert and licked the plate. I also ordered them a monkey bread to go. I don't know that it made it out of Vegas.

Jill R.

Yelp
What a special evening my husband and I enjoyed at Tom Colicchio's! The experience was exceptional from start to finish, with every course surpassing our expectations. The service was impeccable. We had three dedicated staff members assigned to our table, each introduced to us and attentive to our every need. Their kindness and thoroughness made us feel truly valued. We began with a selection of East Coast and West Coast oysters, accompanied by a variety of sauces, and the grilled octopus. Both were outstanding--the oysters were fresh and the octopus was cooked to perfection. For our main course, we shared a filet mignon and each ordered a lobster tail. Stacy ensured we ordered the lobster just right, and her recommendations were spot on. Every aspect of the evening was delightful. We savored each bite and sip, never feeling rushed. We eagerly look forward to returning and exploring more of their delicious offerings!

Jenine S.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal experience! I will make it a point to come back to this restaurant. The ambiance, the service, and especially the food are consistently top-notch. Each dish is crafted to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. But the highlight of the night? Wagyu and The monkey bread dessert! It's a must-have that you cannot leave without trying. It's the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. If you're in Vegas, don't miss out on this gem. Five stars all the way!

Yelp
We came here last week. The food was amazing but the service was awful. I clocked the time between when we ordered and got appetizers to when the steak came out and it was over an hour. They let us sit there for nearly 20 minutes after we were done with my appetizers before checking on us. We even saw the waiters congregated amongst themselves having a chat while we sat there waiting for our food. I do have to say - the tomahawk steak was amazing. It was perfectly cooked and delicious all the way through. Unfortunately our experience was completely ruined by the horrible service and lack of attention.

Mike T.

Yelp
We had a 5:30 reservation because we had a show at 8:00. Thankfully it was early because we finished up our meal around 7:40. The service was great but an appetizer, entrees and dessert were spread out nicely and we never felt rushed. We started with cocktails and they brought out bread. This was 2 little trays of really good bread. I try not to eat bread but it was soft in the middle and a nice warm garlicky crust. We ordered the grilled octopus with beans and cherry tomatoes. The octopus was charred nicely and had great flavor. The beans added a creaminess and the tomatoes added a nice bit of needed acid. The dish was spectacular. I ordered the salmon and our server asked how I wanted it cooked. Medium was my choice. My wife had the filet and my brother in law had the bone in ribeye. Cauliflower and Brussel sprouts were our choices. My salmon has the skin on and it was crunchy, the foo sh was cooked perfectly. Slightly undone in the middle but the skin remained crispy. The fish was cooked perfectly. My brother in law was happy with his medium rare steak with chimichurri sauce. Unfortunately my wife's filet was more medium rare and not medium the center of the steak was the most rare piece but she ate all around it. The cauliflower was good. The Brussel sprouts were tiny and kind of mushy. They looked like mushrooms, when they brought them to the table. For dessert we opted for the doughnuts. This is a big shareable dessert. 5 doughnuts with doughnut holes and a couple of dipping sauces. It was a solid meal with a couple hiccups but I would return again. The restaurant has a small look from the outside but the restaurant is a really big space.

Jess L.

Yelp
I love their service because there are multiple people always helping you. So the water was never empty and I felt very attended to. The food was very good. I had the short ribs and it was very tender, fall off the bone. A little fattier than I would've liked but delicious. And their monkey bread desert highly recommend!

Yelp
I wish their was a way to give over 5 stars!!. Tom Colicchio kills it in this beautiful gem of a restaurant most discreetly tucked in 'The District' at MGM Grand!.. worthy of a higher echelon of locations, this steakhouse delivers on every single level!!. Masculine elegance, impeccable service, elite culinary presentation and flavors im still WOW'd!! Short Ribs, duck and Jumbo Prawns a couple of my favorites.. espresso martini crafted with cold brew smooth, sweet and desserty.. cheesy mashed potatoes, heirloom cauliflower and spinach sides perfect.. I just can't say enough!! I'd put this next to SW, Prime and others no question!! My only drawback is it's located inside MGM Grand, one of my lesser favorites on the strip!

Yelp
My friend made reservations and we got seated instantly once we arrived... our server was on point and even offered us half size sides [which my friend said she's never knew they had all the times she's been but was so excited he told her this]. Place is nice and has amazing food. Definitely the best skirt steak I've ever has and it shareable size. We celebrated a late birthday for me and a current birthday for her and they were so sweet to bring us out dessert. Place is dark... quiet-ish.. although we dressed nice for dinner you don't absolutely have to, there was plenty of guests dressed casually.

Yelp
Full disclosure, I am a Top Chef fan and love everything about Tom Colicchio, including his political stance. This restaurant had 5 star service. Just amazing. They went above and beyond and just made the entire experience perfect. We ordered the tasting menu. IThe Parker House rolls were just that. The rolls your mom burns at Thanksgiving. Really not special, but ok. The steak tartar was under seasoned, the salad was fantastic. The ribeye and tenderloin were perfectly seasoned medium rare. The vegetables were tasty and delicious and the desserts were a perfect ending. We waddled away.

Yelp
Visited twice - first time for cocktails and the second time for cocktails and dinner. Both times we sat at the bar. Bartenders were great - friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and hospitable. Drinks are top notch. For dinner we ordered a bone-in NY Strip with a couple of sides, mushrooms, corn, potatoes and their halibut. Both meals were very good, but for the price they should be - our dinner came out to ~$346 with tip. This isn't an inexpensive place, but the ambiance is really nice.

Yelp
So, this restaurant is very interesting. "the seafood tower" although it was beautiful... I was missing its body parts such as other claw from the lobster other 1/2 of my tail was MIA ... and crazy amount of salt on my sashimi that u can chew rock sea salt. But there was whole head looking at me the whole time .... Finally, Steak came out and it was worse than a outback steak house service is average over staffed and too many of your employees is currently wondering around bar serving area talking about personal stuff Try Nextdoor/ Morimoto

Yelp
I have dined at quite a few steakhouses in my life and I can say that without question by far this was the best steak I have ever eaten. I came to Vegas for a bachelor party and decided to try CraftSteak over the many options for steakhouses there are in Vegas. I have always been a fan of Tom Colicchio and was hoping that it would live up to his reputation. It absolutely did. I ordered the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Kudos to CraftSteak !

Yelp
Food was very good. NY steak had a nice dry aged flavor. Cooked, rested, and seasoned well! Scallops were also fresh and tasty. Good service.

Yelp
We visited Craftsteak for a special occasion, our fifth wedding anniversary. And it was absolutely a magical evening. The food, the service, the ambiance - everything! The aura of the restaurant was of course, perfect, for a beautiful and cozy anniversary dinner, with low/warm lighting and classy wood, leather, and gold accents. Onto the main event - the meal! First off, the bread that comes out before your meal is delightful itself. We had to pause on it (which was hard to do) and make sure we didn't fill ourselves up on bread, because we had a lot of food on the way. My husband ordered the chef's three-course wagyu menu (and he let me taste it all, of course!). The three courses began with the wagyu tartare which literally just melted in your mouth with deliciousness. It is raw, as tartares are, which might seem weird to some at first being that it's beef. But the quality of the meat is so high that it can be safely eaten raw - so don't worry about that at all. The entree was a wagyu steak that was so tender, you barely needed a knife to cut it! My husband chose to add the bordelaise sauce which was glorious with the perfectly cooked steak. His three-course meal also came with two sides, and he chose an exquisite potato purée that accompanied the steak flawlessly, as well as the bordelaise Brussels sprouts which had bits of sublime bacon weaved throughout. The third course was the dessert, and we asked our server to surprise us with whatever his favorite was. When he brought it out and said it was "monkey bread" we were super surprised - but this is NOT your grandma's monkey bread. It was so elevated and decadently rich and sweet. It did NOT last long between my husband and myself sharing! I went a little more a la carte with my ordering, as I knew I would be able to try all my husband's wagyu courses (and dessert!). I started with the Maine Lobster Bisque which was absolutely divine with its silky texture and rich lobster accents. For my entree I ordered the salmon with couscous salad and sea beans. I also had a little of my husband's potato puree and Brussels sprouts on the side - so don't worry - my plate was not scantily filled even though I ordered a la carte! Aside from all the food being HEAVENLY, our server was also absolutely the best. He let us know all of his favorite items if we were deciding between a few, and offered great suggestions to pair with our orders. Although this meal was a little spendy by the end, it absolutely showed its worth in the quality of the ingredients, upscale environment, and impeccable service. I wish I could submit a rating of 10/5, but I can only do 5/5, so that will have to do :-) If you're looking to find a gorgeous place for a special event meal in Las Vegas, I would definitely recommend Craftsteak a thousands times over!

Yelp
We came here with a small group and were seated. We were late due to difficulties getting there. The staff was very nice and still sat us. I forgot the server's name but he was very knowledgeable on the entire menu with great recommendations. He would tell us what is popular there, and then tell us what he likes which was nice. He also told us all the new items. We order an assortment of his recommendations and some other stuff. This place is known for its duck and monkey bread so naturally, we order that. I tried the assorted mushrooms to see which one I liked most and the shiitake mushroom was the better mushroom for my taste. scallops and the yellowtail fish were good as well.

Yelp
We came here the week leading up to the Super Bowl, and all I can say is wow! Our experience was not a good one... What a huge disappointment this "Top Chef Judges" restaurant was! Service? Non-existent! Additionally, a Bartender should know how to make an old fashioned working at a steakhouse... You serve it with a large rock ice cube (not crushed). Bread was stale and hard and the tomato appetizer was terrible-- mushy and flavorless! Caesar salad? Bland!! I got the tomahawk, asked for medium, and it came rare... They did decide to bring us our two sauces long after it was delivered. Do better!! The lobster bisque and aligot potatoes were the only tasty items. I have no idea how this restaurant has ANY good reviews! Maybe have the staff and Chefs eat at SW and learn a few things from them!! This was the one terrible outlier of all the delicious restaurants we went to during our weeklong stay in Vegas. What a disappointment! In the end they comped our meal it was that bad...

Yelp
Everything was awesome, the food the service and the ambiance were top notch. The Duck was delicious, as was the steak, but the ailgot potatoes were heavenly!!! Definitely a higher end menu... but not outrageous for Las Vegas!! Now we know why he is the head judge for Top Chef !!!‍

Yelp
Overrated and very classy per advertisement. Ambiance is great but too many server for just the two of us. One person to introduce the menu and ingredients, favorites, popularity, and so on. Another brings the food. Another brings the drinks. Dinner for two, we over did it. Check please!
