Google
Best Pinot in the valley (the Pelio is amazing). I’ve been buying from Figge for years. Great tasting. Very friendly - had a 40 minute chat here.

Google
Great wine-tasting. Excellent Pinos. Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful service. Overall great. We were only people at the time we showed up, which was great (for us).

Yelp
Cynthia at the tasting room is the best! She is a wonderful storyteller and pours excellent wine choices

Yelp
The best find of my recent wine tasting trip to the area. The wines are nuanced, refined and priced extremely well for the quality. We sat out front in the outdoor area and served by an exceptionally knowledgeable host - highly recommend!

Yelp
Seabold Cellars has a small, quaint tasting room in Carmel Valley across from Roux between the olive oil store and Georis. It's cute and has a lovely outdoor area in which to taste. We were greeted promptly and service was friendly and attentive. We were offered a tasting of four wines out of the six on the menu offered to non club members for $18. Glasses were also available for $10. I chose the chardonnay, the two pinot noirs and the syrah. My husband had the same flight although he subbed the grenache blanc for the chardonnay. Pours were generous and our pourer did offer tidbits about each of the wines as she poured. The experience itself was lovely. Neither my husband nor I were fans of the wines. I found the chardonnay to be somewhat tart and the reds rather young and acidic. Perhaps more time in the bottle is needed? Understandably this is my personal opinion and everyone has different taste so I encourage you to give them a try for yourself. There are plenty of reviews from people who loved the wines. These were just not for me.

Yelp
My wife and I love Seabold and it is always our first stop when visiting Carmel Valley. The wine is delicious and quality has been consistent. Cynthia always takes the time to lead an informative tasting and make us feel at home. Tasting is so special outside under the oak tree or on the patio. Some of our favorite wines are the chardonnay, carignan, and Mourvèdre. I would also always recommend reviewing the full list of wines they have for purchase as there are sometimes hidden gems from the bold and adroit labels.

Yelp
Cynthia is the best! She made sure we understood the wines, where they came from, and how they were made. I loved the service her and the wine of course and that's what keeps us coming back!

Yelp
Such a relaxing patio to enjoy a few glasses of wine. Cynthia serving us is super friendly. Started by giving our dog Teddy a treat. The Chardonnay from Olson is full of flavor, crisp and appealing. Acidy yet smooth. A visitor the day before proclaimed that "the Pinot from Pelio Vineyards was a destination. The Pinot from Brosseau was a woman". . It is indeed a very good Pinot. Full body and pretty. Sweet, not vulgar. We bought a bottle. I can highly recommend this place as a quiet get away destination. No matter from where you are coming.

Yelp
I visited Seabold Cellars touring the area hoping from different tasting rooms and this one stands out. It is cute and quaint with a personal and individual service feel. It's almost as if you're immediate friends with the host. There is also a relaxing ambiance with an outside patio with corn hole and a cute swing! Perfect for photo ops. The wine is also very good. Refreshing crisp whites, with both bold and smooth reds. I particularly liked their Pinot Noir. They even have a unique kombucha wine! 10/10 would recommend stopping in for a taste or a bottle!

Yelp
This was the last spot we visited on a day on the wine trolley. We were in a rush because the wine trolley dude was texting my friend about the departure. The girl who helped us was so amazing and called us the trolley girls when we came. She quickly brought us our tasters with a smile and excellent service. I had already spent my wine budget for my day, so, I decided to not purchase a bottle here. Not because the wine wasn't good, I was trying to watch my budget. So good! I remember that! This is also a cute spot with a nice outdoor seating area. Along the other side is another outside seating area. I so want to come back! Because...the young lady serving us informed us of live music on Sunday's. She described it as a really fun afternoon with everyone in the area making their way over listen. Socially distanced of course. We had to leave due to the wine trolley drivers timely departure schedule. And we also had drink our wine samples a bit faster than I would have liked. Still delicious! Yeah! Cheers and happy Yelping!

Yelp
This was a lovely spot and visit yesterday! Opened during Covid with limited hours and limited outdoor patio seating so I'd advise you to make a reservation. Pro tip: freelive music Sundays 3-5! Winemaker (and master sommelier!) Chris Miller puts out an impressive list of traditional and lesser known varietals, implementing lots of winemaking techniques depending on what he's trying to achieve with the grape... Or as he says "the grape tells" him. Katianna and team are friendly and take you on a fun journey of the wines depending on your tastes. I recommend stopping at the Cheese Shop in Carmel before your visit to grab some delicious cheeses and crackers to accompany your wines. Seabold allows snacks on site. Yay!

Yelp
This place is the BEST! Cute and quaint tasting room with amazing staff. They are always so kind. I will never come to the valley without going to Seabold.

Yelp
As a student who doesn't go to many tasting rooms/have much time to waste on weekends, I am so so so glad I chose to go to Seabold! It's a great place for anyone who wants an intimate, casual, and friendly setting (and great wine)! The outdoor area (which has seating and cornhole) is also the perfect place for cute photos. There's a bunch of restaurants in the area & parking is super easy. Katianna is so knowledgeable and easy to talk to, I would recommend if you want to stop in for a quick tasting or spend a whole afternoon!

Yelp
HOT TAKE... Their Grenache Blanc is to die for!!! This cute tasting room is a MUST DO if you are in the area! The staff is amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. They have corn hole and a cute little swing that is a perfect photo op. Highly recommend this place whether it's for one glass or for one bottle!

Yelp
Super relaxed tasting area. played corn hole and took cute pictures on the tree swing. The wine was good. Bottle prices weren't too bad. (I'm not a fancy wine connoisseur though) I liked the Albariño!

Yelp
Came here when things were starting to open up in covid and had an incredible experience! Folks who work here (Katianna) were SUPER helpful answering all our questions about the wine and their labels (There are 2!). Also, where else can you get a tasting of 4 different wines for $15?! Super great wine at a value price. We brought crackers and cheese from the Carmel Cheese Shop before we came and would highly recommend (winery is totally okay with it). Sit in their patio--you won't regret the incredible people watching experience. They also have live music on Sundays! One con, during covid they don't have any restrooms (but you can walk down the street to a public one).

Yelp
Super cute and cozy spot for wine tasting in Carmel Valley. Definitely visit if you want to try some good wines that are a little "off the beaten path." The tasting room is very charming and a great place to spend some time on a girls day outing ans it's also intimate enough date with your sweetie. It's a little "hole in the wall" so it can be hard to spot at first, but you won't regret it once you do!

Yelp
I entered now knowing what to think but I was blown away by the quality of the wines. Beautiful outdoor tasting area and super friendly staff. I adored the pet nat, and the Mourvedre was as good as any from Provence. A true gem. Nice to see a great place can survive amongst all the tourist winery hubbub in Carmel Valley,

Yelp
A fun, friendly, and fantastic tasting room! The games outside are really fun, and the decor feels warm and inviting. Katianna (the tasting room manager) took her time to explain all the different kinds of wines that they offer, and the tasting flight was delicious! Definitely a hidden gem in the Carmel Valley - if you're in the area, definitely check it out!

Yelp
Perfectly cute and cozy tasting room with a great patio to soak in some California sun (or stay in the shade of the beautiful tree if you please). Everyone there was super patient with me (a non-wine drinker), taking the time to explain the wines and answer any questions I had. Would definitely go back again!

Yelp
I'm an experienced wine taster, and the staff put forth 4 wines for me to taste.... The experience was great and I found a wine that suited me very well. That being said, try it for yourself.... I'm partial to red wine, and I found a Syrah that made this trip very special. Seabold is putting out quality wines, find one that's fits your lifestyle.

Yelp
We are always on the hunt for a "local" experience when we go wine-tasting. Seabold Cellars knocked it out of the park! Not only was tasting room cozy and quaint but the wines were spectacular. Thank you for making your tasting room so welcoming.

Yelp
Marianna was very knowledgeable and so nice. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Good pino noir!

Yelp
What a hidden treasure!!! I wanted to surprise my wife with a wine tour that was unforgettable and memorable. We got that here at Seabold Cellars. A quaint stop in Carmel Valley. It is watched over by a knowledgeable hostess, Katianna. She took the time to explain their wines and give us stops about the area. Best of all, she sold us on their wines without any real effort. After our stop at Seabold Cellars, the rest of our wine tour paled in comparison.
