The wait staff was beyond exceptional--friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lankan cuisine. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like honored guests, offering recommendations, ensuring our comfort, and delivering service that was nothing short of five-star.
But what truly blew us away was the owner himself. A young, humble, and incredibly down-to-earth man, he personally checked on our table, ensured we were enjoying our meal, and even brought out an extra plate of freshly made Roti and Chicken Curry--on the house! At first, we thought he was a waiter because of how hands-on and involved he was in the service. But when he handed us his business card, we were absolutely shocked to learn he was the Founder and CEO of the restaurant! His humility, kindness, and passion for sharing Sri Lankan culture made the experience unforgettable.

Every single dish was bursting with flavor, authenticity, and the perfect blend of Sri Lankan spices. Here are the absolute must-tries:
Lamprais (A MUST-TRY!) - This banana-leaf-wrapped delicacy was the star of the night. The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, the spiced meat curry was rich and flavorful, and the eggplant moju and sambols added the perfect balance. An absolute Sri Lankan classic that you HAVE to try!
Hoppers (Appam) - These crispy-edged, soft-centered pancakes were light and airy, and paired beautifully with the restaurant's incredible sambols and curries.
Sri Lankan Rice & Curry - A classic that truly showcased the depth of Sri Lankan flavors. The chicken curry was perfectly spiced, the dhal was creamy and comforting, and the devilled prawns packed the perfect amount of heat!
Kottu Roti - The best Kottu Roti in LA, hands down! Freshly chopped roti stir-fried with eggs, vegetables, and tender meat, all infused with aromatic Sri Lankan spices--this dish was beyond amazing!
Crab Curry & Grilled Fish - The seafood here is next level. The crab curry was rich, spicy, and cooked to absolute perfection, while the grilled fish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned.
